"I'll follow Chamisa no matter what!" Only one devoid of common sense would especially given his track record. W Mukori

Zimbabwe is a failed state and this has been a 43 year growling descend into this hell-on-earth of our own making. The ruling party, Zanu PF, the numerous opposition parties and the ordinary Zimbabweans have all played their part in landing us in this mess.

Zanu PF and the country’s main opposition MDC/CCC have reached a political understanding in which the later has actively cooperated with Zanu PF’s vote rigging activities for a share of the spoils of power. And so the task of pushing for meaningful political change to end the failed state has fallen on the ordinary Zimbabweans. The main reason why there has been no meaningful change these last 43 years is because the ordinary Zimbabweans have remained ignorant, naive and gullible to initiate and effect any meaningful change.

Even now, with the country up to her eye balls in this hell-on-earth mess of our own making, it is shocking just how ignorant and naive many Zimbabweans are out there.

“Why are you not worried about Zanu PF which has failed to deliver change for the past 44 years? You attack the opposition which has no access to your hard earned money (tax) yet those who steal it in broad daylight you choose to close your eyes on them.” came one accusation (the name has been withheld to protect the ignorant.)

The spirit is willing but the intellect is weak, it is so feeble there is nothing there!

By the late 1990s the people of Zimbabwe realised not only that Zanu PF thugs are corrupt and incompetent but more significantly that as long as the thugs retained their carte blanche dictatorial powers to rig elections the nation is stuck with regime. And it will drag the nation deeper and deeper into the abyss. The solution was self-evident; to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and economic and political ruin, the nation must implementing the democratic reforms designed to take away the party’s vote rigging dictatorial powers.

The people of Zimbabwe have risked life and limb, at the hands of the Zanu PF thugs, to elect MDC/CCC leaders on the understanding that once in power they would implement the necessary democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Zanu PF blatantly rigged the 2023 elections, just as it has done since 1980, because MDC/CCC leaders not only sold out by failing to implement even one reform but, worse still, they have given up implementing reforms.

Chamisa and company have participated in these flawed elections knowing fully well the process was flawed and that doing so would give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the suffering of the masses. They have soldiered on regardless because they also knew that Zanu PF was giving away a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate.

“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Even after AU, SADC and Zimbabwe’s own ZHRC condemned the 2023 Zimbabwe elections as a farce; this did not stop CCC leaders taking up their share of the gravy train seats and thus undermining SADC and AU’s attempts to pressure Zanu PF to stop rigging elections.

What is obvious here is:

  1. a) Zanu PF continues to rig elections because the party has retained all its dictatorial powers to rig elections

  1. b) MDC/CCC leaders have clearly failed to implement even one token democratic reform; after 23 years including 5 in the GNU and nothing to show for it is clear CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent and utterly useless.

  1. c) after 23 years of hoping against hope that MDC/CCC leaders will implement the reforms, the nation must stop dithering and elect competent opposition leaders who will implement the democratic reforms and end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance.

What is shocking here is that there are many Zimbabweans out there who are still dithering and want to retain CCC leaders under the pretext that Zanu PF is to blame for the failure to implement even one token reform these last 23 years. They even want Zanu PF to be given the task to implement the reforms. Of course, this is nonsensical!

As stated above the people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect the MDC/CCC leaders these last 23 years on the understanding they would implement the democratic reforms, precisely because the people KNEW they could never trust Zanu PF to implement any of the reforms. The reason for this was obvious - Zanu PF instituted the carte blanche dictatorial powers to rig elections and stay in power. The party benefited from the rigged elections and was not going to reform itself out of power.

It is idiotic, to say the least, to suggest Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF cronies would implement any meaningful democratic reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections in 2028 and in the future.

However, the prospect of replacing the corrupt and incompetent CCC leaders is unthinkable to many out there and hence the political paralysis.

“As long as Chamisa is living and Zanu PF still existing, people will never follow any other opposing political party without Chamisa as its leader.” argued another individual.

The truth is there are many Zimbabweans who have no clue what the democratic reforms, we have been talking about these last 23 years are about, much less how they are implemented and that the failed state is the dire consequences of failing to implement the reforms. It is therefore not surprising that these people do not blame MDC/CCC for selling out on reforms and thus perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship and their own suffering. In their ignorance and naivety Chamisa and company had done nothing wrong!

After 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, and yet not even one token democratic reform in place one had hoped that some information will have started to filter through forcing these die-hard opposition supporters to question MDC/CCC leaders’ performance, especially on the critical task of stopping Zanu PF rigging elections. Sadly, the penny has not dropped and, probably, never will!

Democracy - government of the people, for the people and by the people - will only work if the said people are educated to at least understanding the big issues of the day and are diligent in holding those in positions of power and authority to account. Zimbabwe is a failed state and far from ever becoming a healthy and functioning democracy because most of our electorate are ignorant, naive and gullible.

So ignorant, naive and gullible some Zimbabwe consider Chamisa to be an infallible demigod and hence the reason they will never hold him to account for anything and are hostile to all who have dared to question his performance. It is tragic that anyone, even a half-shilling, should regard a mere mortal to be infallible especially one with a well documented track record of being corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent!

Zanu PF will never ever reform themselves out of office, it is naive to even suggest it. Chamisa and his CCC cronies will never push Zanu PF to implement any meaningful reforms; they had the golden opportunity to implement the reforms themselves during the GNU and they wasted it.

This leaves the ordinary Zimbabweans to instigate and drive for the implementation of democratic reforms. But how can they instigate something they do not even know! And so the hope that Zimbabwe will ever pulling itself out of this hell-on-earth we find ourselves in are slim. We are a failed state and a failed state we shall remain until we have an electorate with some common sense, at least!

“Severally, I heard @Wilbert Mukori saying the MDC/CCC failed to implement reforms, anenge achirevei?”

Do you know what MDC or Movement for Democratic Change means? The party was formed and launched on the promise they would implement the democratic changes the nation was yearning for especially changes to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. The party had the golden opportunity to implement the reforms during the GNU. They failed to implement even one token reform.

If you cannot understand why they failed to implement the reforms during the GNU then you will never understand why they have failed to do so before and after the GNU. Never ever!

First things first! The people of Zimbabwe must first accept that the present political system is not working that MDC/CCC have not only sold out on reforms but worst of all that will never implement any reforms.

It is shocking that with not even one reform to show for it after 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, some people still have confidence in Chamisa and his CCC cronies. Even after 23 years the penny has not yet dropped that MDC/CCC have been running with the povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds!

“Change where? You can’t measure failure for things not done. He is not in government, so there is no basis of measurement of success or lack of. You can’t say munhu atadza, iye asina kupuwa mukana kuti aite. The purpose of holding elections after a certain period of time is to afford citizens to judge the person and party in order to give them another mandate or fire them. Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen in Zimbabwe, and Africa.”

MDC had the golden opportunity to implement reforms during the GNU and they failed to submit even one reform proposal in five years!

It is shocking that those MDC leaders who were in the GNU either saying nothing or admit they sold out.

“As a collective political leadership, we should have taken time to apply our minds to the existential question:

    “What next after the GNU?”
We did not address this matter.
This was suicidal.” confessed Professor Arthur Mutambara in his Book In Search of the Elusive Zimbabwean Dream, Volume III (Ideas & Solutions).

And yet here some one wittering “You can’t say munhu atadza, iye asina kupuwa mukana kuti aite.”

And am pretty sure you agree.”

I asked you very specific questions and I suggest you address these questions so that we can start our discussion on agreed facts.

I ask you again, Zanu PF rigged the 2023 elections. Could this have been avoided? What should have been done to avoid the rigged elections? Why were these measures not carried out?

MDC/CCC leaders were elected for one specific purpose to implement the democratic reforms necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. After 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, they have failed to implement even one token reform.

Zanu PF blatantly rigged the August 2023 elections precisely because MDC/CCC had not only failed to implement reforms but participated in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. Zanu PF is set to rig the 2028 elections and history will repeat itself once again.

To only sure way to end this curse of rigged elections, we need to elect competent opposition leaders who will implement the reforms without failure! 14. High Court Justice Pisirayi Kwenda has dismissed yet another application filed by main opposition CCC MPs challenging their arbitrary recalls by self-imposed secretary-general Sengezo Tshabangu.

The executive, parliament and judiciary have been aiding and abetting Tshabangu's political move through acts of commission and omission.

Tshabangu and his team of collaborators have badly disrupted and damaged the CCC, intentionally or inadvertently helping Zanu-PF to march towards a two-thirds parliamentary majority in the process, while undermining democracy.

Although they may have legitimate grievances in some cases, Tshabangu and his group's destructive actions have resulted in subversion of the people's electoral will and sabotage of the opposition.

The CCC case against Sengedzo Tshabangu has been dismissed in its current state with the Judge redirecting that they must go for trial where evidence must be produced to determine if Tshabangu had legal right to recall the CCC MPs.

In his ruling the Judge, the judge stated that "You had 2 approaches one a summons matter challenging the authority of Tshabangu and the other where you challenged the actual recalls, "The Judge ruled that they should pursue the summons matter to clarify if Tshabangu has the right to do the recalls.

The only people worthy of sympathy are the ordinary Zimbabweans who have beeb conned into participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship.

As for Chamisa and his fellow leaders, they are reaping as they sowed. They rebuffed advice to have a democratic party with constitution, structures and democratically elected office bearers. Tshabangu may well have imposed himself but the party cannot prove that in a court of law without a constitution!

The recalls have been disruptive, yes, but they did not “undermine democracy”! AU, SADC and even our own ZHRC condemned the August 2023 elections as a sham, the present administration is therefore illegitimate. Nothing can undermine the democratic stand of a system that has lost all its democratic credentials already!

  15. In life one is not always asked the question they wanted to be asked and so hear the answer they want to hear. And likewise asking the right question and getting an honest answer has often define the difference between progress and stagnation.

Zimbabwe is a failed state and the root cause we are a failed state is our failure to hold free, fair and credible elections so that those in power are accountable to the people. Who is to blame for rigging election, is the question many would want asked. Whilst it was true that Zanu PF rigged the elections the nation soon realised that this beggared the follow up question how are we going to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections? The need to elect MDC/CCC leaders whose primary task was to implement the reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging elections.

And so today 23 years since MDC/CCC were first tasked to implement reforms the appropriate question that MUST be asked is: Why have MDC/CCC failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years, including 5 in the GNU? And the call to action is to appoint competent opposition who will implement the reforms as a matter of urgency!

  16. High Court Justice Pisirayi Kwenda has ordered that 23 names of recalled opposition CCC MPs, including those of key officials Amos Chibaya and Gift Ostallos Siziba, be removed from the ballot papers as candidates for the 3 February by-elections.

No one can ever say they did not see this coming given the same courts had barred recalled CCC candidates in last year’s by election. Why these 23 candidates dd not have the common sense to contest as independent beggars belief.

MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent, they have not only failed to implement even one token democratic reform these last 23 years but worse still their participating in the flawed elections out of greed is what has given vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy an thus perpetuating the dictatorship. MDC/CCC leaders are now the proverbial milestone round the nation dragging us into the crashing abyss.

For 23 years 5 in the GNU while you are hiding, come back broo and make some reforms. Change is needed.”

You, like many other Zimbabweans out there have supported MDC/CCC leaders because you believed that they would deliver the democratic changes the nation has been dying for. You lot participated in the 2023 elections because you believed that CCC would win big because Chamisa had “plugged all the vote rigging loop holes.” There was not even a verified voters’ roll for Pete’s sake. And CCC failed to deploy election agents at many polling stations even though the party had the funds!

MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform in 23 years and have been participating flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. CCC leaders have been running with the povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds for decades. The very fact that many Zimbabweans have failed to see this speaks volumes of just how ignorant, naive and gullible they are.

“You’re hitting on a really interesting point - are they change champions or are they in cahoots with ZANU PF? What a conundrum!!!

Well be rest assured that President Chamisa and those who work with him to deliver change in Zimbabwe are the real McCoy’s or Diamonds. The democratic alternative is alive and have already secured democratic victory.

Trust in them and surely victory will be certainly delivered sooner.”

It is a historic fact that MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one democratic change in 23 years including 5 in the GNU. It is also true that they have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.

“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimising these sham elections which don't deliver,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.

“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”

David Coltart went one step further to explain why MDC/CCC leaders have continued to participate n flawed elections

The number one reason why MDC/CCC leaders have sold out and get away with it is because we have an electorate that has no clue what is going on. Even after 23 years with not even a token reform implemented the electorate still believe Chamisa will deliver the changes.

Democracy demands that the electorate must be educated and diligent, in Zimbabwe the electorate is ignorant, naive and gullible.

“Well, be rest assured that President Chamisa and those who work with him to deliver change in Zimbabwe are the real McCoy’s or Diamonds.” So why have they failed to deliver even one reform these last 23 years, including 5 in the GNU?

  24. Douglas Mwonzora, the president of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), was elected as the spokesperson for the National Electoral Reforms Agenda (NERA) in Zimbabwe on January 18, 2024. NERA is a coalition of 25 political parties, including some that did not participate in the 2023 elections. Mwonzora explained that NERA aims to advocate for electoral reforms in the country, given Zimbabwe's history of disputed elections. He said:

"The aim of NERA is to spearhead electoral reforms in the country. Our country has a history of disputed elections, and we need to stop that. Membership of NERA is open to all political parties whether they participated in previous elections or not."

Mwonzora's MDC party did not take part in the 2023 elections citing the need to implement electoral reforms. They specifically contested and lost the delimitation exercise, which Mwonzora believed was unfairly biased in favour of the ruling party, Zanu-PF.

Previously, Nelson Chamisa, the current leader of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), the main opposition party, had threatened to boycott elections until electoral reforms were implemented. He has, however, contested in all previous elections.

This is a sick joke! Mwonzora and his MDC/CCC cronies had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms and yet failed to implement even one token reform in five years. Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and they forgot about the reforms.

They participated in the 2013 elections with no reform implemented. After the elections they complained that Zanu PF rigged the elections and vowed they will not participate in future elections without first implementing the reforms. NERA was formed to push the reform agenda, it was all make believe.

As the 2018 elections approached it was clear all the opposition leaders, pontificating about reforms, would participate in the flawed elections with no reforms implemented as long as they got their share of the gravy train seats.

The new NERA will accomplished nothing, Mwonzora and company will participate in the 2028 elections with not even one reform implemented!

Mpofu is the legal advisor to main opposition CCC leader Nelson Chamisa. What Zimbabwe needs right now is a competent opposition that will implement the democratic reforms and end the curse of rigged elections. It is nauseating that the wildebeest herd continue to support Chamisa when he has failed to bring about even one token reform n 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU.

MDC/CCC leaders have proven beyond all reasonable doubt to be corrupt and incompetent and therefore not to be trusted with holding public office. But in Zimbabwe anything goes because we have the ignorance of the herd plus the greed of the intellectuals.

I do not believe NERA will do anything to stop Zanu PF rigging 2028 elections and that s why reforms must remain on the national agenda. Reforms will remain on the national agenda until the reforms are implemented and we hold free and fair elections.

You do not like to hear about reforms; well tough shit!

  31. This is the political nightmare in Zimbabwe today - having a ruling party that believes they have the divine right to govern the country to the point of rigging the elections to stay in power. The nation had the opportunity to implement the democratic reforms and end the dictatorship during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Alas! The opportunity was wasted; Mugabe bribe the MDC leaders and the rest is history.

The prospect of Zanu PF rigging the 2028 elections is real as is the certainty of CCC participating in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a few gravy train seats reward.

The starting point for stopping this Zanu PF vote rigging juggernaut is accepting the reality that CCC will never deliver any reforms, they failed to do so during the GNU when they had all the trump cards. This is easier said than done given we have the wildebeest herd who have no clue what the GNU was about, even now with the benefit of hindsight!

Zanu PF has managed to stay in power these last 23 years thanks to MDC/CCC leaders who are corrupt and incompetent. Chamisa and company have been running with the povo hare by day and hunt with the Zanu PF hounds by night and the herd has not even realised it. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to deliver even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU, and yet the herd call Chamisa “Change Champion in Chief!”

“Can u offer a much better alternative? We will support u. If u can't uchingoshora those trying something better shut up.”

So you think supporting MDC/CCC leaders regardless they have failed to implement even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU. And worse still they have been participating in flawed elections knowing fully well their participating will give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy; still they went ahead out out of greed. And you are supporting them because there is no “better alternative”!

So keeping Zanu PF in power out of greed and stupidity is now a “better alternative”? No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state; we really have more than our fair share of village idiots!

It is stupid to expect CCC to deliver reforms when they have failed to do so these last 23 years, including 5 in the GNU. It is stupid to participate in flawed elections to give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy for a few gravy train seats. I will say it from the roof top and will not shut up!

“The ?? is can u offer a much better alternative ,if u can't tough luck. People themselves know who is project & not.”

If you are so stupid to elect as leader those who has already proven to be so corrupt and incompetent they failed to deliver even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU you will never comprehend the solution even if it was offered to you in a silver platter.
Those who do not learn from their past mistakes are destined to repeat the mistakes and blunder from pillar to post. The refusal to accept that MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent is one of the most idiotic things Zimbabweans have done since independence and ironically it is helping keep Zanu PF in power - the very thing the people were hoping to avoid.

“Mukori is another Tshabangu....trying to destroy Chamisa from the other side.”

I do not need to destroy Chamisa when he has destroyed himself - his track record speaks of one who is corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent. One who failed to implement even one token reform and has been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.

People like you consider Chamisa a hero because you have no clue what the reforms were about much less that the GNU was the golden opportunity to implement the reforms. How can a simpleton like you accusing Chamisa of selling out when you have no idea what the reforms are!

“As long as u can't offer much better alternative leading into the trenches, u seem to proclaim from anywhere you are. Respect those trying something on the ground cz u are a worse coward out there offering nothing to the problem in zim.”

So you were in the trenches during the GNU years? What exactly did you accomplish in these five years?

Zanu PF cronies boasted that “Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” And true enough, you lot failed to implement even one token reform in five years. Not even one!

It is rich for a corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless sell-out to now be posturing as a man of courage and even has the chutzpah to call me a coward. MDC/CCC leaders are still relevant in Zimbabwe politics but only because we have one of the most ignorant and naive electorate in the world. Just don’t make the mistake of treating me like one of your wildebeest herd!

“If u can't match up, compete in the struggle for true freedom, enjoying European good governance as a coward who ran away from ur native land challenges like a faz agent discrediting those tried & tested in the game with track records of genuineness imboenda paside see u in the trenches when u ready to be the alternative not just talkshow coward in Europe offering nothing.”

Mugabe bribed you with the trappings of high office and you kicked reforms out of the window. There were 110 MDC MPs, 50 Senators, 30 Ministers 2 Deputy PMs and 1 PM; anyone of you could have submitted the reform proposals and had 5 years to do it. And yet not even one reform proposal was submitted. Only a first class idiot would call that “track record of genuineness”!

MDC/CCC leaders are “active in the trenches”, as you call it, out of greed. They wasted their golden opportunity to implement reforms during the GNU and have since been participating in flawed elections to give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. Even when SADC and AU condemned the 2023 elections as a farce, that did not stop CCC leaders taking up their gravy train seats and thus giving Zanu PF legitimacy.

“What chamisa has done to date in this struggle up to sadc ,au zim flawed elections reports u can't match, my dear. Enjoy Europe cowardly as u are.”

So you think SADC leaders were fooled by your antics and did not know what was going on during the GNU. How naive!

SADC leaders wanted the 2013 elections postponed until reforms were implemented. “If you participating in the elections you will lose. The elections are done,” they warned Tsvangirai and the other MDC leaders at the SADC Summit Meeting in Maputo in June 2013.

The warning fell on deaf ears.

“MDC leaders were busy enjoying themselves in the GNU they forgot why they were there!” one SADC diplomat remarked in sheer frustration.

So now you and your fellow MDC/CCC leaders are blaming “the cowards” who left Zimbabwe for your corruption and breathtaking incompetence. How typical!

There were over 110 MDC MPs, 50 Senators, 30 Ministers and deputy Ministers, 2 deputy PM and 1 PM; any one of you could have submitted the reform proposal. Not even one reform proposal was submitted in five years. FIVE years! All because Mugabe bribed you and your fellow MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and your kicked reforms out of the window.

“Mazivanhu eMDC akadzidza kudya anyerere!” as the Zanu PF cronies boasted. So stop talking nonsense!

I do apologise for thinking you were Arthur.

You were in Zimbabwe all along, what did you do to stop MDC leaders selling out on reforms. You keep wittering about “better alternative” as if participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy is an alternative. It is foolish! How can perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship be an alternative!

Get off your high horse! All those who left Zimbabwe are not cowards just as much as all those who have remained in Zimbabwe are the epitome of courage and virtue. Of course, MDC leaders sold out on reforms and have been participating in flawed elections out of greed.

Not everyone fighting in the trenches believes in the cause; there are heroes and amongst them there are mercenaries too!

“However, Manhize – portrayed as a 'game-changer' with the potential of becoming Africa’s largest integrated steel works (producing 1.2 tones of steel annually) – is now the darling of Mnangagwa's administration.

This, together with newly refurbished roads and the Beitbridge Border Post.

Hardly a day goes by without news reports on these projects.

We also have the recently commissioned 600 MW (megawatt) Hwange Thermal Power Station Units 7 and 8 – which was built at a cost of US$1.5 billion.

    Impressive, hey?

However, this begs a most critical question.

Is there really anything to celebrate here?

Should Mnangagwa be proud of these supposed achievements – to be regarded as some feather in his cap?”

Zimbabwe is a failed state and by blatantly rigging the 2023 elections Mnangagwa could not have done anything more to confirm Zimbabwe’s status. No one of substance would ever want to do business in a failed state and all those who do, always do so with an eye for the exit for a quick get away.

Zimbabwe has beeb sinking ever since Zanu PF got into office in 1980 and the nation has been powerless to stop the decline because the regime rigged elections to stay in power. The nation had its golden opportunity to implement democratic reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging elections during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Alas! The opportunity was wasted because Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders for forget about reforms.

Ever since the GNU debacle MDC/CCC leaders have been running with povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds. Even when SADC and AU election observers condemned the 2023 election as a farce, that did not stop CCC leaders taking up their gravy train seats and thus giving the process and Zanu PF legitimacy.

After 23 years including 5 in the GNU, MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform. A historic fact that has gone unnoticed by the largely ignorant, naive and gullible Zimbabwe public especially the CCC wildebeest herd. They call Chamisa “Change Champion in Chief” and yet they cannot name even one change he has brought in 23 years.

The herd live in its own make believe world where facts, truth and reality count for nothing. The herd has been participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating their own suffering. Of course, it is insane but that is the cloud cuckoo land of the herd.

Zanu PF blatantly rigged the 2023 elections and it is hard to see where the change to stop them doing the same in the future is coming from. Right now the Change Champion in Chief is otherwise engaged with internal CCC matters, he is trying to make a silk purse out of a sower’s ear!

  42. Yes of course, Mnangagwa not a game-changer but merely going in circles but thanks to the corrupt and breathtaking competence of the MDC/CCC leaders, he is here to stay. The opposition not only sold out by failing to implement reforms these last 23 years but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

Even when SADC and AU condemned the 2023 elections as a farce CCC leaders were falling over each other to claim their gravy train seats and thus endorsing the elections as legitimate! No wonder SADC has been left speechless!

    “Delusions of Divine Favouritism

Chamisa's purported belief in divine favouritism is met with nothing but skepticism. Such a notion reflects a delusional disconnect from the practical aspects of governance and policymaking. The idea that Chamisa and his supporters have an exclusive line to God is not only foolish but childish, absurd, and unfounded.”

It is one thing to claim God is in it! But another to substantiate that especially when the “it” is so foolish that no mortal with any common sense would believe in ti much less the Almighty! Chamisa boasted that he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes, an outrageous claim since there was not even a verified voters’ roll. In the end Chamisa did not even do something as elementary as deploy election agents at all the polling station even thou he had been given the funds to pay for it!

Still he claimed that God was in all his hare brain schemes and CCC was going to win big!

The very fact that many Zimbabweans have believe Chamisa’s hare-brain schemes time and time again speaks volumes of the people themselves. No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state state, we have more than our fair share of scatter brain, easily conned and bought!
