Zimbabwe is a failed state because of "parasitic ruling elite" admitted Chamisa, junior parasite with anaesthetic and paralysing bite W Mukori

“A UNITY DAY is meaningless unless and until it is driven by Unity values and UNITY POLITICS undergirded by a unity of direction, singleness of national purpose and a preponderance of patriotic duty and consciousness by all Zimbabweans, especially those occupying public national offices,” wrote Nelson Chamisa in Bulawayo 24

“As of today, Zimbabwe is deeply divided and profusely bleeding on account of divisive, toxic, partisan and unpatriotic politics sponsored and perpetuated by a parasitic political elite. Zimbabwe is captured by those who purpose to thrive in a weak, failing and unstable Zimbabwe.

“The state is personalised, the politics bastardised, the alternative is demonised and the law is weaponised against perceived political opponents.”

It is nonsense to keep complaining of Zanu PF’s corrupt and tyrannical rule when CCC had the golden opportunity to end it and wasted it! The 2008 to 2013 GNU was Zimbabwe’s get out of jail card and Chamisa and company failed to play it because they had their snouts in the feeding trough.

If you had a get out of jail card and did not play it, people want to know why you did not play it. They are not interested in your complaining about the 10 m thick and 50 m high jail walls topped with the razor fence, etc.; the bastardised politics, etc.

Chamisa is right in in blaming the country’s “parasitic political elite” for the country’s economic mess and political paralysis. He and his CCC friends, not just the usual Zanu PF thugs, are an integral part of Zimbabwe’s “parasitic political elite”.

Indeed, the nation must pay even more attention to the CCC than the Zanu PF parasites than the Zanu PF. Everyone has known for decades that Zanu PF thugs are corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs who rigged elections to stay in power. The nation has risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders for the express purpose of implementing the democratic reforms necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. Zanu PF has corrupt the MDC leaders to forget about implementing the reforms for a share of the spoils of power.

Like it or not Chamisa and his CCC friend have metamorphosed from the one to deliver change to working with Zanu PF to not only resist change but to become one of the parasitic ruling elite. Zanu PF has found CCC particularly useful in that many people have failed to see the transformative change and so have been waiting for the democratic change that will never come.

Zanu PF’s continued stay in power these last 23 years is thanks to the presence of MDC/CCC. CCC have become the junior parasite whose bite has soothed and calmed the nation allowing, Zanu PF, the senior partner to feed at leisure!

There is no denying that Zimbabwe had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms and end the curse of rigged elections once and once for all during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Chamisa and his MDC friend failed to implement even one token reform in five years and ever since they have been participating in flawed elections to perpetuate the Zanu PF dictatorship for a share of the spoils of power.

“Our otherwise beautiful country is now essentially a banana republic. Zimbabwe is not just at the risk of being turned into a one-party-state but a one-man-state! We must and will end this ugly era,” concluded Chamisa.

Yeah right! You failed to implement even one reform in 23 years including 5 years in the GNU when you had all the trump cards. What hope is there of doing it now especially now the self-destruct CCC recall wars in full swing.

Zanu PF has taken full advantage of the endless fighting in CCC but that is to be expected. When push comes to shove, Mnangagwa knows that Zanu PF needs a corrupt and incompetent opposition that will not implement reforms and will participate in the flawed elections no matter what. He knows that Chamisa and his CCC friends are just what the doctor ordered!

Chamisa and company will never ever implement any reforms and end this political nightmare. Never ever!

The tragic is the people themselves have been slow to realise this. After 23 years with not even one reform implemented and the people still believe the parasitic Nelson Chamisa is the nation’s saviour. 23 years and the penny has not dropped that it is CCC’s incompetence that is now keeping Zanu PF in power. 23 years! How naive can you be!

  1. I have condemned Zanu PF rigging the elections but in this case one MUST also condemn those who have allowed Zanu PF to rig elections by failing to implement the democratic reforms to stop the rigging. MDC/CCC have had 23 years, 5 in the GNU, to implement reforms and still they have nothing to show for it. You need to wake up and smell the coffee!

“Ko madii kuronga opposition inogona kubvisa Zanu nhai chief kana mune muono wakadai.”

Let us be clear this nonsense once and once for all!

Are you saying those in power are not accountable to the people and the people must instead form their own political party?

This is foolish! Those in public office are accountable to the people regardless of whether the people form their own party or not. Why this simple political fact is so hard for idiots like you to comprehend beggars belief! It is nothing new, of course.

You are just regurgitating the Zanu PF argument that they are not democratically accountable to those who did not fight in the liberation war! Enough of this nauseating nonsense.

All those in public office are accountable to the people - that is not negotiable!

“There u go - growing up in a crooked system conditioned you to think crooked is the norm. No one is supposed to be manipulated and arm twisted by political thugs that u’re hero worshipping now. Those ppl do not deserve jail. They shldnt pay any price to be out of jail. I don’t expect u to get this at all. No cards to be played in order to get this or that. That’s emotional blackmail. Mugabe knew it when his day came & he cldnt get himself to vote for ZPF. He didn’t even want ZPF to masquerade as a gvmt at his funeral. He had the heroes acre built yet he wanted nothing about the heroes acre when his time came. Of course, he was entitled to that. But, think of the number of ppl whose wishes he overruled when they didn’t want to be buried at the so called heroes …”

What are you twittering about. How is saying MDC leader should have implemented the democratic reforms when they had the golden chance to do so during the GNU emotionally blackmailing them?

So you think demanding the reforms and free and fair elections is “hero worshipping” Zanu PF?

It really is impossible to have a rational debate with some one who does not have the intellectual capacity to be rational. You have no clue what the reforms are much less how they are implement; all you know is to defend Chamisa and CCC no matter what!

The fact that MDC/CCC hade indeed failed to implement even one token reforms because they are corrupt and incompetent is water off the duck’s back. I am the villain for daring to say it!

Zimbabwe must implement the reforms to get out of the hell-hole we are stuck in. CCC have clearly failed to implement the reforms and we must accept that as a nation if we are ever going to find the competent men and women to carry out this important task. It would be irresponsible of me if I was to let village idiots, who have no clue what we are talking about, but are hell bent on entrusting the task to Chamisa and company have the last say on the matter!

“Zimbabwean musician Tawanda Mumanyi better known as Seh Calaz, has expressed his disappointment with the current state of affairs in Zimbabwe, five months after the 23-24 August 2023 harmonised elections. He criticises the political elites for making promises to the electorate and then disappearing to enjoy their own lives with their families.

Seh Calaz believes that these seasonal politicians will only return after five years to ask for his performance at their shows and to mobilise supporters for the next elections, without bringing any meaningful change. Seh Calaz calls on the political elites to fulfil the promises they made and address the suffering of the people.”

    Hear! Hear!

If MDC leaders had kept their promise of implementing the reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections, Zimbabwe would have cured itself of the curse of rigged elections by now. 23 years, including 5 in the GNU and still not even one token reform in place.

Like it or not CCC will not implement any reforms and without reforms Zanu PF is set to rig the 2028 elections too! I think people must come out and demand a competent opposition and not let the CCC wildebeest herd bully and bamboozle them into silence!

If Chamisa has nothing to hide then he has nothing to fear and should come clean on all these issues Tshabangu is raising! His continued silence and threats is not helping his case much less the people of Zimbabwe’s cause of fighting to end the Zanu PF dictatorship.

These real wars in CCC are drawing the party and public’s attention away from the number one issue - how are we going to stop Zanu PF rigging the 2028 elections. The prospect of no reforms implemented and Zanu PF rigging the 2028 election is unthinkable and yet, unless we act now, a certainty!

“Opposition MDC - MDC-T- MDC-N- MDC-99- PDP- MDCA-CCC has poor conflict management skills and as such we keep going round circles coz they learnt nothing from past mistakes & they continue to learn NOTHING! Blame ZANUPF all you like , but 90% of our problems are born from poor conflict management by our leaders , every time they have disagreements , they are already donating each other to ZANUPF , kicking each other out, throwing the bathing water with baby 24/7 when temperatures are down they start seeing each other as brothers again…SUCKS.”

Could not agree with you more! This recall business started soon after the 23 August 2023 elections and now four months latter it has not been resolved. Indeed, if anything the infighting is hotting up! There is no one in the party to demand that the mess must be sorted out and if necessary lock all the leaders in a room for a whole week and tell them they will not be let out until there is the white smoke signal.

The truth is MDC leaders have already proven during the GNU, if not before that, beyond all doubt that they are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent. It is just that the people of Zimbabwe are themselves ignorant, naive and stupid to realise that and so the nation now finds itself in this impossible situation of expecting quality leadership from Chamisa and company. It will be easier to get blood from a stone than quality leadership from Chamisa and company.

Zanu PF rigged the August 2023 elections because MDC/CCC not only failed to implement the necessary reforms in 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, but have been participating in flawed elects to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. It more than sucks, it is a national tragedy!

  7. God rarely do for mankind what mankind can do for themselves. If MDC leaders had implemented ti democratic reforms during the GNU then Zanu PF would not have rigged the 2013 elections and we would in a totally different situation.

MDC leaders not only sold out on reforms but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. What exactly do you expect God to do?

The tragedy in Zimbabwe is we have individuals who have no clue what they are talking about, you don’t even know that change is within our power in that MDC could have implemented the reforms if they were not corrupt and incompetent and that we should elect competent opposition leaders who will implement the reforms.

CCC leaders are fighting amongst themselves right now, who do you want SADC to appoint to govern Zimbabwe? Stop evoking the name of the Lord on matters you know nothing about!

“Is Tshabangu a ccc leader did u know of him b4 e elections or after he was posted on e lamp post? How can they discuss with an imposter who does exist in their structures? This is not a ccc issue it's abt a ruling party that wants to remain in power at all costs.”

But even you must admit that if Chamisa had established a healthy, functioning and properly structured party with democratically elected office bearers it would have been difficult to impose outsiders. It would have been easy too to prove Tshabangu an imposter in a court of law.

The trouble with some people is this “Napoleon is always right!” mentality that George Orwell described in his book Animal Farm. Has Chamisa ever done anything or even capable of doing any thing wrong in your view? I for one would like to hear your answer!

There is some thing sickening when some one treats a mere mortal as an infallible demigod especially when the said mortal has a well documented track record as corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless! It really is sickening the more so when the mentally retardants have a vote!

  9. One dd not need to be in a particular ministry to propose reforms affecting that ministry. Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trapping of high office and, in return, they kicked reforms out of the window. People like Professor Arthur Mutambara, who were in the GNU, have admitted MDC leaders too their eyes off the ball. And yet some individuals who do not even know what the reforms are keep coming up with feeble excuses why MDC failed to implement reforms. They cannot bear to admit historic facts!

  10. The people of Zimbabwe had risked all to elected MDC/CCC leaders into power for one primary task - to implement the democratic changes necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. 23 years later, including 5 in the GNU, Zanu PF continues to rig elections. Why?

Nelson Chamisa and his friends have abandon their core task of implementing the reforms and are instead co operating with Zanu PF in rigging elections for a share of the spoils of power. CCC leaders send to remove the parasitic Zanu PF ruling elite are now part of the parasitic ruling elite themselves!

The problem of bad governance is not going to be solved by having more political parties; we have 130 at the last count and we are still a failed state. The solution is holding those in public office to democratic account including being able to vote failed leaders out of office!

You have failed to understand what the democratic reforms are about and the solution out of Zimbabwe’s political mess is even more complex than reforms. This is not simple arithmetic with simple solutions, you are simpleton and should stay out of matter far beyond your intellectual ability!

CCC has failed to implement even one reform in 23 years and Zanu PF has rigged elections for 43 years; these two's repetitions have lasted for very long periods and have been far serious to the nation than my call for democratic reforms. Why are you not fuming and frothing about it?

You can not bear to hear the truth said about Chamisa and all you want to do is stifle all debate. Chamisa sold out on reforms and he will be held to account no if, no but!

  17. SADC'S DRC ELECTORAL OBSERVATION MISSION 2023 PRELIMINARY REPORT SUSPENDS ITS CONCLUSION ON RECENT DRC ELECTIONS

In a rare but refreshing display of the kind of institutional maturity which is consistent with the regional body's constructive objectives and collective interests, the Preliminary Report of Sadc's DRC Electoral Observation Mission [SEOM] 2023, headed by Zambia's level-headed former Vice President Enock P. Kavindele – which has 72 observers drawn from six (6) Sadc member states: the Republics of Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe and the United Republic of Tanzania – has put its conclusion on the conduct of elections on hold pending more on the final phase of the elections.

Explaining this exemplary position, in the Mission's Preliminary Report, Kavindele says:

    "VI CONCLUSION
At this stage, allow me to recall that the SEOM is continuing the process of electoral observation in the post-election phase. As such, the Mission has not rendered its comprehensive and conclusive recommendations or qualifications for the election at this stage.

It is crying shame that in this day and age many SADC countries are failing to hold free, fair and credible elections and, worse still, the trend is going in the wrong direction. By failing to enforce the rules, more and more countries are breaking the rules!

  18. One of the notorious things about an ignorant and naive electorate is that they are easily swept off their feet. Morgan Tsvangirai is considered an "iconic leader" and yet his track record shows him as just another corrupt and incompetent leader. Chamisa is considered "the best foot forward" for the nation out of the same blind elegance.

Chamisa and company participated in the 2023 elections knowing fully well that the process was flawed and that by participating they are giving SADC the excuse to grant Zanu PF legitimacy. They still went ahead regardless, out of greed.

Both AU and SADC and even Zimbabwe’s own ZHRC condemned the elections process as a farce. The damning reports had no effect on CCC leaders who could not wait to take up the oath of office and take up their grant train seats. As much as some SADC leaders may have wanted Zanu PF denied legitimacy it clearly going to be hard to do so when the opposition have accepted the result as legitimate.

It is no exaggeration to say Zanu PF would lose an election to a troop of monkeys if the elections were free, fair and credible. The only reason why Zanu PF has continued to win elections is because the party rigs elections. MDC/CCC leaders have had many opportunities to implement reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Alas! they have wasted these opportunities.

It is laughable that CCC participated in these 2023 elections give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship. As much as SADC would have wanted to act decisively on the curse of rigged elections the regional body was hamstrung by CCC’s own acceptance of the flawed process.

After 23 years on the political stage, including 5 in the GNU, MDC/CCC has failed to implement even one token reform and now even SADC is giving up on the country ever holding free and fair elections given the CCC have completely given up on reforms. Zimbabwe should be a healthy and functioning democracy by now instead we are still stuck with the Zanu PF dictatorship for some time to come, given there are no plans to implement any reforms.

We are to be grateful to CCC for stopping Zanu PF having 2/3 majority. Every Zimbabwean should be enjoying their right to free, fair and credible elections and an end to the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. How any one can fail to see the situation for what it is - a tragedy beggars belief. There is nothing to be grateful to CCC for here!
