ED squandering millions greasing Chiefs when "Masvingo Province has only one ambulance" complained CCC hypocrite. W Mukori

“ZanuPF's ED Priorities Misplaced From Voters!!” wrote Patriotic Papa JC

“Just imagine Masvingo General Hospital the biggest and referral hospital in the province of more than 2 million people has one functional ambulance.

“Just imagine Mnangagwa decides to donate Chiefs with state of the art vehicles. He is doing this to thank Chiefs for oiling the 23 August 2023 election rigging machinery.”

Patriotic Papa JC is none other than Jefferson Chitando, MDC MP for Masvingo during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Mugabe bribed the entire MDC leadership; the 110 MPs, 30 ministers and deputy minister, 2 deputy PM and 1 PM; with the trappings of high office and, in return, ignored implement the reforms for five years. Chitando was one of the MPs.

It is a great tragedy indeed that public funds are being squandered buying chiefs brand new vehicles when the nation’s basic services such as health care have all but collapsed. How can a Province like Masvingo have only one working ambulance!

What is equally tragic here is that Zimbabwe would not be in this mess still if only Chitando and his MDC/CCC/Blue Train colleagues had implemented the democratic reforms and stopped Zanu PF rigging elections. After 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU, they have not only failed to implement even one token reform, they have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

It is rich that Chitando is now admitting that Mnangagwa rigged the 2023 elections and is thanking the “Chiefs for oiling the 23 August 2023 election rigging machinery”. Did Chamisa not dismiss all talk of Zanu PF rigging the elections because he had “plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes”?

Of course, Chamisa was lying; he knew Zanu PF was rigging the elections, knew that participating would only give the regime legitimacy and, most important of all, knew that Zanu PF was offering a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate. He and his CCC friends could not resist the bait. Chitando, Chamisa and everyone with half a brain know all these facts for they are well documented.

“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa gave the Chiefs new vehicles before the 2023 elections and must have other reasons for “greasing” their palms yet again so soon after the last elections. It is no secret that with a super majority in parliament, thanks to the Sengezo Tshabangu recalls of elected CCC MPs, Mnangagwa now needs the 18 Chiefs in the senate so be certain of a 2/3 majority here too. With 2/3 majority in both chambers, Mnangagwa can scrap the two presidential term limit.

Chitando and his CCC/Blue Train colleagues should spare us the buckets of crocodile tears they shed at criminal worse of resources buying Chiefs new cars when they took their share of the bribes and, worst of all, it is because of their treasonous betrayal we are in this mess!

“You are saying opposition has imploded so there is no need for elections, this is because CCC has imploded. No need for elections because CCC has imploded. Are you saying elections were meant for CCC under Chamisa and Zanu PF. Don't we have other Opposition parties who can participate in elections? Really? I thought you have the stamina to lead in forming another opposition party that can implement Electoral reforms and enter into elections. So your rambling in here just empty hot air. So are you admitting that no Chamisa led party no elections? Really?”

Chamisa and his wildebeest herd of followers were warned of the sheer futility of participating in the flawed 2023 elections but they would not listen. The herd believe Chamisa’s idiotic claim that he had “plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes.” By participating in numbers the herd gave the process legitimacy and now the same idiots want refresh elections in four months time.

Pray tell me what has changed? What has or can be done in 4 months to stop Zanu Pf rigging elections? Even you must admit there is chaos in the opposition camp. Why would anyone want elections when there is only one viable political party?

No one in SADC or outside Zimbabwe will take this petition seriously. No one that is with half a brain!

How naive! So you think Chamisa and the rest of the MDC/CCC leaders were working for povo by failing to implement even one reform in 23 years?

  3. PRESIDENT Mnangagwa today handed over 100 Isuzu double-cab vehicles to traditional chiefs as part of Government efforts to enhance their critical role in communities and in the development of the country as a whole.

The 100 Isuzu double-cab vehicles are the first batch of replacement vehicles for chiefs, which is in line with the Government policy of vehicle replacement.

Officiating at the hand-over event in Harare this morning the President said traditional leaders as custodians of the country's culture, traditions, history and heritage, among other responsibilities deserve to be accorded dignity and favourable conditions of operations.

This all started soon after independence with Mugabe giving his ministers Mercedes Benz limos to replace the Peugeot Ian Smith gave his minister; the patronage and chef mentality was born. Today it will not be a surprise to find Mnangagwa is squandering more of political patronage, to buy the blind loyalty of his MPs and ministers alone than he is spending on a key sector like health or education!

Just before the 2023 elections Mnangagwa squandered US$40 000 on housing allowance for MPs and senators, deputy ministers US$ 230 000 and ministers US$500 000. We do not know what the two VPs and the President himself got!

The facts are stubborn; MDC/CCC did indeed sell out by failing to implement even one reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. There are some village idiots how have buried their heads in Chamisa's backside so they see nothing and do not want the truth of the sell out spoken. It would be unforgivable to let the village idiots silence us all and hold us to ransom!

  5. So now you want to blame MDC/CCC's failure to implement the reforms these 23 years on Linda and Madhuku. How pathetic! There is no limit to the depth of stupidity some people would sink!

  6. Mnangagwa is squandering millions of dollar on car for Chiefs whilst basic services such as education and health care have completely collapsed. The whole of Masvingo Province, for example, have only one working ambulance. Zanu PF's patronage and plunder will continue as long as the regime continue to enjoy carte blanche powers to rig elections.

MDC/CCC leaders had the golden opportunity to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and they wasted it. We need competent opposition leaders who will implement the reforms, until then we will remain a failed state.

Chamisa is not only a mere mortal but a corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless one as a national leader. The nation is not going to be stuck with the upstart just because there are village idiots like you who think he is an infallible demigod!

Zimbabwe has the great misfortune to have more than her fair share of village idiots, Chamisa conned nearly 2 million to participate in the 2023 flawed elections giving the vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy. If Zimbabwe is ever going to get out of the mess we are in, we have to educate the village idiots - no easy task.

Still we have no choice but to educate our village idiots. It MUST be done and will be done! I have a sludge hammer to drive the message into your thick head.

“Better to join Zanu if you attacking another opposition to that extent🔥. Hanzi na Trump kuna Romney "the amount of energy you spend attacking me if you had directed it at democratics you would have been president by now"🥶

Romney is in same party as Trump Republican in name only rino🦖”

Zimbabweans have failed to realise that Robert Mugabe bribed the MDC/CCC leaders during the GNU with the trapping of high office so they forgot all about implementing the reforms.

It must be said that most Zimbabweans are simpleton, especially the hardcore CCC supporters. They have failed to understand what the reforms are about just as Boxer, the horse in Animal Farm, failed to learn the alphabet.

Boxer, George Orwell tells us, could not formulate any coherent idea of his own and so gave up thinking for himself and trust Napoleon to do all the think for him and trusted him implicitly - what choice did Boxer have since he could not comprehend even the simplest of ideas. “Comrade Napoleon is always right!” was his motto.

It is no surprise that many Zimbabweans have adopted the Chamisa Chete Chete mentality to march Boxer’s motto. Their IQ is not that different from Boxer and many, to this day, have no clue what the democratic reforms are about. So how can these people ever accuse MDC leaders of sellout for failing to implement reforms - something they do not know!

The truth is Zanu PF have thoroughly corrupted MDC/CCC leaders and that is why the later have failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years. Worse still, Chamisa and company have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy for the sake of a few gravy train seat. Chamisa et al will never implement the reforms or do anything that will threaten Zanu PF’s hold on power.
It is no exaggeration to say CCC is Zanu PF team B in all but name, deployed to as an opposition party for the sake of deceiving the ignorant and gullible public.

“Better to join Zanu if you attacking another opposition to that extent🔥” you argued. The truth is there is difference between Zanu PF and the surrogate Zanu PF team B. To get out of this hell-hole, we must think outside the box because there will never be quality leaders from within the box.

We need opposition leaders who will focus on implement the democratic reforms and clean up the present political system, drain the sewage pond. We will never have quality leaders out of the present system just as there are no quality fish in a sewage pond!

Chamisa has failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years and hence the reason why Zanu PF continues to blatantly rig elections. Only a village idiot who cannot think for himself can continue to be conned into believe Chamisa has "scored a lot of goals" and yet cannot name even one goal he scored!

Still, I have the sludge hammer and will hammer some sense into your empty head!

How so many people have failed to see CCC leaders for the corrupt and incompetent leaders that they are, even after 23 years with nothing to show for it, speaks volumes of the sheer incompetence of the people themselves! No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state!

  11. Zanu-PF co-deputy president Constantino Chiwenga, who harboured succession ambitions in the hope that President Emmerson Mnangagwa would step down after completing two constitutional terms, has been thrown into disarray by his boss's rapidly burgeoning third-term bid which is trashing their 2017 military coup pact.

Informed sources say the original agreement from the 2017 military coup was that Mnangagwa would complete Robert Mugabe's term and serve one other term in order to give the power-grab a civilian face to avoid outright condemnation from regional and international blocs, before handing over power to his coup ally, Chiwenga, to run the 2023-2028 term.

The agreement was however tweaked at Zanu-PF's last elective congress held in 2022 where Mnangagwa manoeuvred to become the party's candidate in the 2023 elections to complete two terms.

One of the down side of autocratic regimes is that the ruling elite can afford to forget the common people as they concentrate on consolidating absolute power and amassing wealth. In the case of Zimbabwe, this is all Zanu PF ruling elite and their MDC/CCC side kick care about. The truth is the nation is well and truly stuck, either party has any intention of changing the status quo, because ever since the 2008 to 2013 the two settled into a cosy symbiotic relationship.

The people of Zimbabwe have risked livelihoods, life and limb to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power on the promise they would implement the democratic reforms to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship and restore the people’s power to hold those in power accountable usurped by the regime. Mugabe bribe the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and they, in return, forgot all about the reforms. And ever sine the GNU debacle, MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy for the sake of a few gravy train seats the regime offered as a bribe.

Chamisa and company have made a big song and dance about how they going to win each election because they had devised winning in rigged election strategies. All lies to justify why they were hell bent on participating in the flawed elections and to hide the real reason for doing so was greed.

Mnangagwa has been squandering billions of dollars buying the blind loyalty of public, his own party and the opposition officials to consolidate his strangle hold on power. Yesterday he handed over 100 twin-cab Isuzu trucks to Chiefs meanwhile basic public services such as health care and education have all but collapsed for lack of funds. The whole of Masvingo Province has only one working ambulance, for example.

As long as Zanu PF retains its carte blanche dictatorial powers the ruling elite will continue to concentrate of consolidating their power and amassing wealth at the public’s expense. We need to implement the democratic reforms to restore political power to the people where it rightly belongs. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform, we must find others who will.

The truth is, until we learn and do the right thing, implement the reforms to end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance, the country will continue to sink into the hell-on-earth of our own making!

“Yr head is not only empty buddy bt it is full of stinking sewage water.”

So you believe you are acting like a man by treating Chamisa, a corrupt and incompetent upstart, as any infallible demigod? There are some things that should be beyond debate such as the historic fact that MDC/CCC leader are corrupt and incompetent. But because you are who you are - a village idiot - not only have these historic facts failed to sink in; you are so stupid you still believe Chamisa is an infallible demigod!

The real tragedy for Zimbabwe is that village idiots like you have the vote! Upstarts and buffoons like Chamisa and Mnangagwa have exploited the ignorant and gullible electorate to stay in power. Frankly, the nation would be better off if the likes of you were never born!

  13. The world is moving on, these are the issues we should be discussing but how can we. We are still arguing about how to stop Zanu PF rigging elections and cannot even see that Zanu PF has corrupted and captured MDC/CCC leaders we have entrusted the responsibility to implement the democratic reforms.

Indeed, many of our people are so backward they have not only failed to see that MDC/CCC leader are corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless even after 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, and not even one token reform implemented. Worse still, they believe Chamisa and company are not mere mortals but rather infallible demigods who should never be questioned let alone held to democratic account. And they are very angry with those who have dare to point out the truth. Furious!

The real tragedy for Zimbabwe is that the upstarts and buffoons like Chamisa and Mnangagwa respectively, have exploited the ignorance and downright stupidity of the electorate to usurp the people’s power to hold leaders to account and consolidate their own strangle hold on power.

So instead of the people holding upstarts and buffoons to account, it is the upstarts and buffoon who have the thick end of the whip. The tail is wagging the dog! Furiously!
