What we are witnessing here is personality cult, the Chamisa Chete Chete, mentality in action. Because given Nelson Chamisa’s well documented track record as a corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless political leader; all this euphoric hero worshiping is typical of those who have taken leave of their senses.
How many of these people know that Chamisa and his MDC/CCC friends failed to implement the democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections even when they had the golden opportunity to do so during the 2008 to 2013 GNU? Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and the rest is history!
Zimbabwe IS a failed state because we have been stuck with a corrupt, incompetent and murderous ruling party, Zanu PF, those last 43 years. Chamisa and company HAD the golden opportunity to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and they wasted it.
And we, the people, have lacked the wit to realise CCC leaders have sold out even now, after 23 years of risking all to vote them into power and they do not even one token reform implemented to show for.
That so many Zimbabweans should be caught up in this Chamisa Chete Chete personality cult madness bespeaks of a nation with eye to see but not the intellect to comprehend. A very tragic reality, in itself! But that there should be anybody, nobody at all, encouraging idiotic midsummer madness in any way much less for selfish political gain is unforgivable.
Of course, anyone with half a brain knows that Chamisa is corrupt and incompetent but will never admit it, especially to the brain-dead Chamisa followers. In the August 2023 elections the Chamisa backed candidates won comfortably and yet failed to get even 10% of the vote when they stood as independent in the recent by-elections - proof of the herd’s personality cult mentality. And so the opportunists have joined the Chamisa Chete Chete bandwagon to better their chance of winning a seat on the gravy train.
When Chamisa tried to stop the winning CCC candidates in the August 2023 elections from taking their gravy train after both SADC, AU and Zimbabwe’s own ZHRC election observers had unanimous condemned the election as flawed and illegal. The opportunists gave Chamisa the middle finger salute.
Chamisa has resigned and abandoned CCC in a huff complaining that Zanu PF had infiltrate the party. Some of the opportunists switched allegiance to the Tshabangu faction just to keep their grave train seats others have followed Chamisa knowing fully well they were not welcome in the Tshabangu camp. There are singing Chamisa praises louder than the herd.
Most nations get the government they deserve. There is no denying that we in Zimbabwe certainly deserve this corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship complete with its MDC/CCC acolyte, “Zanu PF team B” as some people now call it!
“Cyclone Chamisa” will never ever implement any reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging the 2028 elections, point number one. Two, Cyclone Chamisa will con his brain-dead followers; with the usual assurances he plugged all the vote rigging loop holes and “God is in it!”; to participate in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Nothing will change, nothing!
Indeed, we should just call “Cyclone Chamisa” cyclone Zanu PF team B and be done with it! After all Chamisa et al have sold out on reforms to Zanu PF in power these last 23 years. Rest assured Cyclone Chamisa will participate in flawed 2028 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy!

So you think by failing to implement even one token reforms when he had the golden chance to do so because Mugabe bribed him and his fellow MDC leaders; he was not betraying the people?
Do you know that he participated in the flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed? He even lied about plugging all the vote rigging loop holes to justify his participation and hide the real reason for participating was greed.
I know that the personality cult, Chamisa Chete Chete, mentality does not allow the followers to listen to reason much less to think for themselves. After 23 years of this insanity and country in serious trouble, one had hoped that many people will now start to open their eyes and see leaders like Chamisa for the corrupt and incompetent mortals they are. It is clear and disappointing to see that in your case the penny has not dropped! There is a real danger that it will never drop!

Zanu PF rigged the 2023 elections are you saying those who supported him and helped him rig the elections knowing he was rigging the elections are “free” to do so?
The right to a meaningful vote, like every other right, carries with it the duty of care to others. Of course, you are not free to support and vote for Zanu PF, for example, if in doing so you are denying others the right to a meaningful vote if Zanu PF is rigging the elections.
Chamisa and company have failed to implement even one token reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections even when they had the golden opportunity to do so during the GNU. Mnangagwa rigged the last year’s elections and had to dig deep to find the money to bribe the many people who helped him pull this off. The trouble with this is the beneficiaries of these bribes are never ever satisfied; they more the get the more they demand.
The country is just getting over the cholera outbreak cause by the failure to provide clean water. The nation’s infrastructure, including water supply equipment, is in a sorry state of rot and decay for lack of money because Mnangagwa, like Mugabe before him, has been squandering the nation’s resources bribing the ruling elite instead.
It is almost certain that there a serious drought this year. Donors are sick and tired of giving aid to a nation whose ruling elite are living in unparalleled luxury. But as long as Zanu PF continues to enjoy the carte blanche powers to rig elections Mnangagwa will continue to spend millions on political patronage whilst povo starve!
The opposition has just imploded, what will be the end and purpose of fresh elections. If Chamisa is to be believed, Zanu PF infiltrated CCC and supplied all the gun power to super-charge the implosion. Zanu PF's chances of winning the nation's first free, fair and credible elections have never been as good as they are now. Mnangagwa will have little to fear and has not only signed the petition but is the one sponsoring it!

Well, leastwise you have already forgotten, Nelson Chamisa was a senior member of a political party these last 23 years, the last 7 years of which he was the president of Zimbabwe’s main opposition political party no less. Pray please name one democratic reform that Chamisa and company have implemented in all those years including the 5 years in the GNU? Name just one!
This imbecile will remind you that the people of Zimbabwe have risked livelihoods, limb and even life itself to elect MDC/CCC leaders for the primary purpose of implementing democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. Zanu PF blatantly rigged last year precisely because Chamisa and company have failed to implement even one democratic reform in 23 years including 5 in the GNU when they had the best chance to do so.
If the truth be said I am indeed “frightened, scared and terrified” that after all the hoo-ha about the new party, I see no reason why it will do any better that all the other parties Chamisa has led.
I can safely bet my bottom dollar that the Blue Train will not implement even one reform and will participate in the 2028 elections. He will make the usually promises of stopping Zanu PF rigging the elections and delivering the changes we all been dying for all these years. But alas, all we will ever do is give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy again and thus perpetuating the dictatorship.
The prospect of Zanu PF rigging the 2028 elections is as real as it is outrageous. And to let that happened because we have been conned again by a corrupt and incompetent upstart in the name of Nelson Chamisa; all because of some ignorant and naive voters with no more wit than a garden slug; would be unforgivable!
Ending the nightmare of rigged elections and bad governance is more important than massaging the misplaced ego of an upstart and his braindead followers.

ReplyDeleteWe have had rigged elections these last 43 years and since implementing the reforms is the only sure way to put an end to this insanity. Reforms will remain on the national agenda until they are implement and we have free and fair elections - that is not negotiable!

Chamisa and company have participated in flawed elections know the elections will be rigged and doing so will only give Zanu PF legitimacy. They have even lied about “plugging all vote rigging loop holes” to hide the real reason they were hell bent on participating was greed. Some of the MDC/CCC leaders have been honest enough to admit it.
“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Only a nincompoop can dare accuse me of blaming Chamisa for failing to implement reforms when he did indeed fail to implement reform and all because he is corrupt and incompetent.
After 43 years of rigged elections Zimbabwe is at a cross-road: Do we have the common sense to admit we have let ourselves down and finally do the right thing - implement the bloody reforms and end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance?

The idiots did not listen to SADC leaders fat chance they were going to listen to anyone else. All one could then and now is hold the idiots to account for the treasonous betrayal of the nation.
It is the duty of all the citizen to hold those in power to account, all the citizens that is who have half a working brain. There are many out there who are braindead so dumb they believe Chamisa is a infallible demigod who must not be held to account. How anyone could be so dumb and stupid to worship a mere mortal, an upstart who has already proven that he is corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless? Astonishing!
