Mnangagwa seizing farms from Mugabe family to consolidate his own family holdings. Standard.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa's government has reportedly repossessed extensive land holdings belonging to former first lady Grace Mugabe, her daughter Bona, and other relatives, in a move believed to be a targeted assault orchestrated by the late president's successor.

Sources close to the former first family claim that the land seizures are part of a calculated campaign to undermine and diminish their influence within Zimbabwean political circles.

The whispers of a calculated onslaught against the former first family are growing louder, with The Standard reporting that vast swathes of land belonging to Grace Mugabe, her daughter Bona, and other close relatives have been repossessed by the government.

This land grab, reminiscent of the tumultuous land reform program that defined Mugabe's rule, has seen the former first lady's expansive Mazowe citrus farm, home to an orphanage and the Amai Mugabe School, handed over to Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe.

Kazembe, it is whispered, has grand plans for the property, envisioning a bustling mall in place of the once-thriving farm.

The land grab extends beyond Grace Mugabe's holdings. Bona, her only daughter, has lost much of her farm in Mashonaland Central to the widow of the late Zanla commander Josiah Magama Tongagara, Angeline.

"Tongogara's wife is now working with the son of the white former farmer, Lance Kennedy to utilise the land," a Ministry of Lands official revealed, adding, "She took centre pivots that were bought by Bona."

The Mugabe family, it seems, is not the only target. Grace's niece, Florence Zinyemba, and her husband Flavian, who served as matron of honour at Mugabe and Grace's wedding in 1996, have been evicted from their farmhouse, Protea Farm, to make way for Auxilia Mnangagwa's Angel of Hope Foundation.

Mnangagwa's daughter, Tariro, has also benefited from this land grab, receiving a portion of Kevin Mugabe's Audley End Farm.

"She had been offered that piece of land many years ago," an official in the Lands ministry said, hinting at a long-standing desire to claim the property.

Robert Zhuwao, another nephew of Mugabe, has also been stripped of his land, losing Subdivision 4 of Cockington Farm to Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry after losing a High Court challenge against his removal.

These land seizures, which have become a recurring theme in the Mnangagwa administration, are not merely isolated incidents. They are part of a broader pattern of retribution and consolidation of power, with Mnangagwa's loyalists reaping the rewards of their allegiance.

The Mugabe family, however, sees these actions as a continuation of the hostilities that began with the 2017 coup that ousted Mugabe from power. Grace Mugabe, who openly opposed Mnangagwa's presidential ambitions, was a vocal critic of his leadership, leading a public campaign that was ultimately thwarted by the military intervention.

"The targeted seizures of land belonging to the late long-time ruler's relatives showed there were still hostilities between Mnangagwa and the former first lady," a Mugabe family member said, echoing the sentiment of many within the family.

The government, however, maintains a stony silence on the matter.

Nick Mangwana, the government spokesperson, refused to comment on the displacement of Mugabe's family and relatives from their properties.

"I cannot comment on that. I am not aware," Mangwana told The Standard. "I would refer you to the Minister of State for Mashonaland Central. But if you were going to ask me on a policy issue, I would say if it was a land invasion, they should call the police."

Lands Minister Anxious Masuka, when contacted for comment, was unavailable.

The land grab, reminiscent of the controversial land reform program implemented by Mugabe, raises concerns about the future of Zimbabwe's agricultural sector.

In 2019, Mnangagwa declared that an audit had revealed Grace Mugabe owned 16 farms, and he has repeatedly warned that those holding large tracts of land will be dispossessed in line with the government's "one family one farm" policy.

The government's actions, however, are not without consequence. The land reform program, which displaced over 4 000 white Zimbabweans from their farms, has left the country saddled with a US$3.5 billion debt to the former farmers for developments on their farms.

Even the ruling elite who thought they now owned the land are suddenly realising that, actually they do not. If the direction of the wind should change, those benefiting from the on going farm seizure will find themselves the ones being booted off the farms too.

What is most outrageous is how that whilst the ruling elite have 16 farms with the combined acreage the size of Lesotho, they stubbornly deny the ordinary people title deed to even one acre on which their mud hut stand! All for selfish political reasons - they want the people to remain beholden to the party for the sake of political control.

We cannot stop Zanu PF corruption and mismanagement, the two have reached nauseating levels, without first stopping the regime rigging elections. The people of Zimbabwe came to this political realisation in the late 1990s hence the demand for democratic change. MDC was launched in 1999 in answer to the nation's call and hence the name Movement for DEMOCRATIC CHANGE!

After 24 years including 5 in the GNU MDC/CCC leaders have not only failed to deliver even one token reform but have been participating in flawed elections to not only allow Zanu PF to rig elections but to get away with it too.

WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HOW ZANU PF IS ROBBING THE NATION BLIND WHEN WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT WHY MDC HAVE FAILED TO STOP THE RIGGING IN 24 YEARS. THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM IS MDC/CCC SELLING OUT ON REFORMS AND FREE ELECTIONS!

  5. Alas! You are right. Chamisa conned Zimbabweans to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy on the basis of a foolish lie that he had plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. The mob has been conned in the past to participate in flawed election the same disastrous consequences on the basis of similar equally foolish empty promises.

It would be a day’s work for Chamisa to corral the herd into participating in yet another flawed 2028 elections.

You are right, some people never learn. But then this should come as no surprise given the herd’s personality cult mentality. They never ask anything even over a blatant and monstrous lie, repeated countless times, and whose consequences have caused so much of their own tragic suffering!

Ignorance has its pluses. The herd have failed to comprehend the linkage between rigged elections, bad governance and the country’s economic meltdown. And so the herd are blissfully unaware that it is their folly in participating in the these flawed elections that is perpetuating their own suffering.

“Only in your dreams Zanu pf doesn't need to be in any of these WhatsApps groups for it to survive! It is the proverbial cat that has so many lives ! SA support or No support ... Zanu will always win any election in Zimbabwe any day!”

As I have said, Zanu PF will rig the 2028 elections, Chamisa and company will participate in the flawed elections for the few gravy train seats on offer as bait and it will be but a day’s work for Chamisa to once again corral the CCC’s herd to participate in the flawed elections. All this I readily concede but what is in doubt now is whether Zanu PF will get away with another rigged elections.

The proverbial cat has nine lives. After 44 years of rigging elections and getting away with it; it is clear the Zanu PF cat has had all its nine lives. But you should not bother your empty head with the complexities of rigged elections and political legitimacy; especially since it is taxing enough to know your right hand from the left!

“Instead of fighting for the poor masses who are struggling to make ends meet, the political elite have been fighting for party positions.

    What a disgrace!

But what went wrong? The time is ripe for us to ask genuine questions.

Why can't they put their house in order now?

I am not saying Zanu-PF is perfect, we all know that it has its own shortcomings, but I am simply saying some of the problems in the opposition corridors have nothing to do with Zanu-PF.”

You have put your finger on one of the reasons why our political system is dysfunctional and useless - you are allowed to look at one side of the coin and one side only. Being a party loyalist means praising everything the leaders do to the high heavens. Even when the leaders blunder one is expected to deny the blunder or blame it on the party’s detractors.

Acknowledging wrong doing by the leaders is frowned up and those who question the leaders and hold them to account are labelled sell outs or worse.

Everything the leaders do is right and everything the political opponents do is wrong. Period! Zimbabwe politics is a straitjacket, instead of seeing all the colours of the rainbow you see only two black or white, right or wrong.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Knowing your enemy means knowing their strengths and weakness and you do not know yourself unless you know your own strengths and weaknesses. In our restrictive straitjacket and monochromatic world of infallible demigod leaders we only see what we want to see and not what is there. It is little wonder we have succumb in every battle.

44 years after independence and we still failing to hold free, fair and credible elections, corruption is rampant and millions are living in abject poverty. The nation is sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss and we do not even have the common sense to realise the problem is the dysfunctional political system much less to fix it.

"It is quite evident that the majority of opposition leaders have gone to bed with Zanu-PF," wrote Terrence Mwedzi.

"So what do we expect? Their contribution to the development of the nation is next to zero.

Criticising Zanu-PF on social media is what they are good at and the current crop of opposition leaders is part of the problem."

Of course, he is right even more so given our dysfunctional political system where everyone is in a straitjacket and must live in the monochromatic world in which leaders are infallible demigods and no mere mortal can hold to account!

Equally Zimbabwe is in our hands and not Chamisa. Chamisa is just a figurehead like anyone. Chamisa here and Chamisa there. Are you saying that even Mnangagwa is waiting for Chamisa to do something. What is Mnangagwa doing since he is at the helm of authority with all the powers and Jurisdictions? Musangovenga munhu mhani, itai mushe.”

We know you consider Chamisa an untouchable and infallible demigod. He is not just a mere mortal but one with a well documented track record as corrupt and incompetent. As an elected public official he is per se accountable to the public - that is not negotiable.

How anyone can be so shallow, thick and slow to consider a mere mortal a demigod beggars belief. But to those who are braindead, Chamisa is a demigod. In a country where the braindead are numbered in their millions they become so bold they want to impose their stupidity on the rest of the nation. In their stupidity they confuse accountability with hatred!

Let me say it again Chamisa is a public official and, per se, accountable to the people - read my lips - THAT IS NOT NEGOTIABLE!

The one thing that can spur rural development is granting the people tittle deeds to the land. Ian Smith refused to do so and Mugabe and Mnangagwa have followed suit for the same reason - they did not want the rural people to enjoy any economic power for fear they would demand political power too. Rural areas have remained Zanu PF political strongholds because the rural folk are the poorest of the poor and thus beholden to the regime.

Zimbabwe should sort out the challenges of implementing the democratic reforms before the 2028 election and end this curse of rigged election. Instead we are wasting time blaming SADC for failing to deny Mnangagwa legitimacy when the blame lays with CCC and the millions who foolishly insisted in participating in the flawed elections.

Chamisa conned people to participated in the flawed elections, claiming he has plugged all vote rigging loop holes. Of course he was lying!

Chamisa et al have failed to implement even one token reform in 24 years including 5 in the GNU. Of course, there was never any political will to implement reforms and that has not changed. They are now wasting time blaming SADC for God knows what, anything to draw attention away from the fact they are doing nothing to implement reforms.

Come 2028, they will participate in the flawed elections, claiming they have winning in RIGGED election strategies! Chamisa and his Gambakwe apologists are taking us all for fools.

SADC Election Observer Mission’s Dr Nevers Mumba and the report are a good basis for us Zimbabweans to push for implementation of the reforms in preparation for 2028 elections. We must not waste this opportunity and find ourselves going into the 2028 elections with no reforms implemented.

Gambakwe is going a false narrative suggesting Dr Mumba and the report is about SADC denying Mnangagwa chairmanship of SADC. If SADC wanted to punish Mnangagwa then they should have denied him political legitimacy last September. What would denying him the chairmanship of SADC accomplish?

Dr Mumba is right that it is for the people of Zimbabwe to make sure the necessary reforms are implemented to ensure 2028 elections are free and fair. We holding these anti-SADC demos to blame SADC for what exactly? This is just foolishness on steroids!

ANC was abusing its position as the ruling party to turn a blind eye to Zanu PF lawlessness in the hope that by keeping Zanu PF in power it will help ANC stay in power. ANC’s November 2022 party resolution that it would not allow regime change in Zimbabwe, calling Chamisa a puppet, ignoring the damning SADC Election Observer Mission report on 2023 Zimbabwe elections, etc. are all proof of ANC propping up Zanu PF no matter what. ANC lost its majority in parliament and ended the party’s arrogance.

The colonial regime’s denial of blacks title deeds to land for political reason was at the heart of our fight to end colonial rule. There are social and economic advantages to letting the people have tittle deeds to an acre or two of the land on which their homestead stand. It is an outrage that Zanu PF is denying people title deeds to land for selfish political reasons - the same selfish reasons the white colonialists denied blacks the vote, title deeds, etc.

It is not the army's "command voting" that has kept Zanu PF in power these last 24 years since the nation made a concerted effort to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. It is MDC/CCC leaders' failure to implement reforms.

The quietness of the regional body rises more questions than answers. undermining democratic its credibility, and if they can not hold member States to order, then the organisation is useless and must be disbanded, and we form a credible organisation that holds members States to book if they do not abide by the values and principles of the organisation.

The dialogue is not for CCC alone but for every political party in Zimbabwe. Then, reforms are implemented, paving the way for new FRESH ELECTIONS 2024. The idea for 2028 is biased. Why wait for 2028 when the evidence is there in the public domain that our 23rd and 24th August 2023 elections were stolen.

If the SADC can not resolve these issues issues, where evidence is available, then it should be disbanded. It's of no use. We can not have an organisation that supports the elites.

They will never ever accept Chamisa lied even in the face of all the evidence the exact opposite of what he said has happened.

Of the cult members are braindead and it is utterly a waste of time reasoning with them.

The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that there are millions of these braindead cult members, on both sides of the political divide, and, to crown it all, they have a vote! None of the healthy and functioning democracies in history started with universal suffrage. We, with no history of governance, had universal suffrage and the nation’s demagogues corralled the braindead, just as Napoleon in Animal Farm corralled the sheep, to do their bidding undermining all hope of a healthy and functioning democracy.

Of course, it is your right, Munyaradzi, to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy just as it was the sheep’s right to bleat “Four legs, good! Two legs bad!” to kill all meaningful debate in Animal Farm. I do not remember you ever admitting that Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop hole!

  36. Zimbabwe's Energy Minister Edgar Moyo has been summoned by Parliament to address the severe hydrological challenges at Kariba Power Station, leading to extensive power outages of up to 18 hours in urban areas. Murehwa South MP Noah Mangondo highlighted that the station has lost 800 megawatts of production due to low water levels, exacerbated by climate change. He questioned the status of the Gokwe-Sengwa Project, which could alleviate current power shortages by generating 2,000 megawatts.

“It's a fact that no one can beat chamisa in a presidential election election as it is a fact that Chivhayo cannot be arrested and convicted.”

You still don’t get it, do you. Chamisa and co’s number one task was to implement the reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. They have failed to implement even one token reform in 24 years including 5 in the GNU hence the reason why Zanu PF is still able to blatantly rig elections.

It has been said Mnangagwa would lose the elections to a donkey if it was the only alternative if the elections are free and fair. So your boasting of Chamisa winning is just hot air!

What matters is MDC/CCC leaders have failed to stop Zanu PF rigging elections!

    “Mukoma.
You are becoming a problem dog that repeatedly barks on the wrong tree. We the people in diaspora are the one's with unlimited data to listen to your chamupupuri analysis about the political situation back home, and we don't give a penny for it😩
    Vanhu vanoda Chamisa!
The sooner you get it, munenge mapinda!
Otherwise, you are just another Bhangu spin doctor.”

The nearly 2 million Zimbabweans who participated in 2023 elections did so because they believed Chamisa when he said CCC would win big because he “had plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!”

CCC did not win much less win big because Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections, as SADC and AU reports confirmed. So we can safely say Chamisa lied to con the people into participating in the flawed elections.

Chamisa and company have been participating in these flawed elections out of greed - the same reason they failed to implement even one token reform during the GNU.

“Vanhu vanoda Chamisa!” you said and with nearly 2 millions voting for him in 2023, that speaks for itself.

The pertinent question, however, is: Would these people still love Chamisa if they KNEW and UNDERSTOOD that he has been lying and conning them into participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their suffering for the sake of a few gravy train seats? Of course, not!

These people do not have a clue Chamisa and company are sell outs. They have no clue what the reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections are much less that the 2008 to 2013 GNU was the golden opportunity to implement the reforms.

Democracy demands that the people should be educated, knowledgeable and diligent if they are to carry out their sacred duty of holding the leaders to account. Both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC have seen to it that the people are kept ignorant, naive and gullible for the purpose of exploiting them.

There is nothing normal about millions of people considering a mere mortal like Chamisa with a well documented track record as corrupt and incompetent an infallible demigod. They are braindead for Pete’s sake! And to leave these people at the mercy of buffoons and sell-out upstarts like Mnangagwa and Chamisa is to condemn them and the nation to the hell-on-earth Zanu PF has landed the nation into.

“Vanhu vanoda Chamisa!” Yeah right! Do they also love to suffer and have no hope, the consequences of Chamisa conning them into perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship? What a stupid thing to say.

Of course, this is a stupid question because all you are saying here is that Chamisa MUST NOT be held to account.

It is the sacred duty of every citizen, including you village idiot, to hold those in public office to account. I am doing my duty and it is bad enough that you are not only failing to do yours but have the stupidity to stop me doing my duty!

We have allowed village idiots like you to dictate things in Zimbabwe and no wonder the country is in a mess. Chamisa and all those in public office are accountable to the people - get that into your nincompoop head!

Yes blacks were denied the vote in Rhodesia, in Zimbabwe they are frog marched to vote for Zanu PF. I hope you are not suggesting that we should be contend with that because that is NOT what we fought for.

Yes today you can be treated in Parerenyatwa Hospital except that the quality of service is so poor it is normal for operations to be cancelled because the hospital has no pain killers. The ruling elite, the whites of Rhodesia days, have stopped using local Hospitals. Mugabe made no fewer than 8 trips to the Far East in 2012 for eye treatment at a cost of US$3 million each trip!

This is not a beauty contest where we compare and contrast Zanu PF to Rhodesia Front. Zimbabwe is a failed state and millions of our people are living in abject poverty and all you keep wittering about is that blacks can now be treated in the former whites only hospitals and ignore the reality that the health care service in the country has all but collapsed under this Zanu PF dictatorship!

So you do not think Chamisa committed high treason in selling out on reforms and conning the people to participate in flawed elections to helping Zanu PF to stay in power and perpetuating the people’s suffering? Of course, you don’t because you do not have the the intellect to comprehend what is happening. You have no clue why Zanu PF was able to blatantly rig last year’s elections and to get away with it!

Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have millions of citizen like you Tatenda who are braindead and upstarts like Chamisa and buffoons like Mnangagwa have taken full advantage of you promising you the moon on a silver platter to get your vote only to deliver hell on earth!

You and me and millions others out there have elected Chamisa and company for the express purpose they would implement the democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. It is our duty to hold them to account. Why is it that asking them to admit they sold out is a no - no?

What is so special about Chamisa he is not to be held to account? He is a mere mortal and a corrupt and incompetent one at that! Fcuk me, what a palaver.

We cannot even agree on a simple and obvious point that all those in public office are accountable to the people. Little wonder we have made no progress on more substantial issues like holding free, fair and credible elections. Indeed, the village idiots do not even know what constitute free and fair elections!

I do not agree with demands by Gambakwe and company staging the SADC protest in Lusaka Zambia but I support and will defend their right to hold peaceful protest.

From what I could see in the video clip, Gambakwe was doing nothing wrong and there was appalled that the authorities stopped him commenting on the events. Freedom of expression and a free media are essential pillars on which democracy and good governance stand; remove them and good governance will suffer.

I certainly hope Gambakwe was not arrested and if he was arrested that he is released without further ado!

In Zimbabwe the regime is making a big song and dance about anything it does it doesn’t matter how small or long-over due from building a toilet to commission Hwange Unit 7 and 8, 40 years over due. Meanwhile mismanagement and corruption is rolling back these new projects plus whatever else was there. As long as Zimbabwe remains a pariah state and, by blatantly rigging the 2023 elections, Mnangagwa confirm we are a pariah state; there will be no meaningful economic recovery!

Title deed for the farming area. 2. Title deeds for the Cattle Post. 3. Title deeds for the village houses. 4. Title deeds for the City or Urban Houses. To build these you can get money from the Bank to build or develop all these. What a Black Government in Botswana.”

Botswana, like SA had the great fortune is having visionary founding fathers who gave the nation solid democratic institutions from the word go. We in Zimbabwe we had Mugabe whose number one priority was to impose a one party dictatorship and consolidate his own iron grip on power at all cost. Dismantling the dictatorship is proving mission impossible now Zanu PF is deeply entrenched and even the opposition is in its deep pockets as we know.

What a circus!

  49. This is laughable! The protestors, many of whom are known Chamisa Chete Chete supporters with a personality cult mentality, are now talking of "shambolic Zimbabwe 2023 elections" and yet they and their leader are the ones who insisted in participating in the same elections. Chamisa said he had "plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!”

MDC/CCC have failed to implement even one token reform in 24 years including in the 5 GNU years. SADC are on record advising MDC leaders not to participate in flawed elections and their advice was ignored.

If MDC/CCC leaders had implemented the reforms and their supporter had pressured them to do so instead of following the leaders blindly like sheep we would have avoided the shambolic elections or having millions participating to give the process legitimacy, at the very least.

Chamisa and company are just marking time whilst they wait for 2028 election in which they will once again participate in with no reform implemented. They have given up on implementing reforms and they are just stringing the nation along from one rigged elections to the next and now want to blame SADC for their folly.

It is incumbent on the thinking Zimbabweans to stop these Chamisa Chete Chete village idiots rat race and get the nation to focus on the important business of implementing the reforms. We must stop the village idiots from being conned into participating in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy in 2028.

It pays in the end to get the best in the beginning.

We, in Zimbabwe, are paying dearly for entrusting MDC/CCC the task of implementing the democratic reforms. Zanu PF blatantly rigged 2023 elections because MDC/CCC have not only sold out on implementing reforms but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.

These Chamisa Chete Chete SADC protests are to mark time to avoid the task of implementing reforms. Chamisa will be leading his herd into flawed 2028 elections on the promise to win big because he has "plugged all vote rigging loop holes" or some such idiotic lie. We must call out the time wasting and stop the braindead followers participating in the millions! We will only have ourselves to blame if we let this insanity continue!

“Your rhetoric on reforms that zanu should have started implementing starting from 1980, and placing the dead donkey at the door of an outfit that has existed for only a couple of decades is appalling. Zanu owns and runs the courts where all legal amendments to the constitution are ratified. Zanu has also had the majority in parliament, hence the capacity to generate and implement your beloved reforms. The way you sanctify zanu and hold it blameless only raises questions about sanity.”

The people of Zimbabwe recognised that Zanu PF would never reform itself out of office and hence the reason why they have risked livelihoods, limbs and over 500 were murdered by Zanu PF in 2008 alone, to elect opposition leaders who will deliver the necessary democratic changes to stop Zanu PF rigging elections.

Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends launched their party on the promise they would deliver the democratic changes. After 24 years including 5 in the GNU they have not only failed to implement even one token reform but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

Only a village idiot like you would refuse to accept MDC/CCC leaders have sold out. In your foolishness you want to take the nation back to 1980! Why has the nation risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders if they expected Zanu PF to reform itself out of office?

MDC/CCC leaders sold out and why some people are refusing to accept this simple historic fact even now with the benefit of hindsight beggars belief. But, of course, it explains why Zimbabwe is a failed state - we have some braindead minions amongst us and, to crown it all, they have the vote!

As Minister of Finance 2009 to 2013, Biti was aware of the US$12 - 15 billion in diamond revenue being looted from Marange and Chiadzwa. He did nothing to stop it because Mugabe bribe him and his MDC friends with ministerial limos, generous salaries and allowances, US$4m mansion for Save himself, etc., etc. - vhara muromo!

“Is it possible for opposition to implement changes even if outside their jurisdiction? Shamwari yangu, mdc was used from the back like tissue paper in 2009. That deal was never a power sharing deal, it was a manoeuvre to just give zanu an opportunity to resuscitate from the comma in which it was. They did not have a majority in parliament to pass submissions, they did not have any sway in any senior state institution. They were used to give zanu another life. In the truest vampire fashion that can only be associated with zanu- drinking 🍸 the lifeblood of its adversaries to survive. Chikwambo. Its demands increase with time, munoziva chikwambo zvachinoita. Fast forward to today- kuba, kuuraya hakuchavanyadzise. They tell you in your faces kuti hapana zvamunovaita, that they are not going anywhere and will kill to stay in power. MDC leaders did not implement even one reform during the GNU when they had the golden opportunity to do so because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office. This is a historic fact and for anyone to be denying it only goes to show how naive and stupid they are!

I have better things to do than argue on historic facts! You do not want to accept historic facts, that is because you are stupid. Period!

Zimbabwe is being run by thieves who wear designer suits in the midst of abject poverty!”

Now the penny will drop as to why Mnangagwa rigged the 2023 elections - so that he and his cronies can continue to loot.

Now the penny will finally drop that as long as Zanu PF can rig elections and stay in power we will never ever stamp out corruption.
