"Zimbabweans like to be RULED and not LED" - cold comfort and have paid dearly for it. W Mukori

“Zimbabweans like to be RULED and not LED, ruling requires supporters to support their favourite leader even when he is being undemocratic,” observed Hopewell Chin’ono.

“Leading requires supporters to question their leader’s actions and to call them out when they are being undemocratic.

“That culture doesn’t exist in both ZANUPF and the opposition.”

He was stating a home truth many Zimbabweans do not want to hear but a home truth we must hear, at least if we are serious about digging ourselves out of the hell-on-earth we have landed ourselves in. Zimbabwe is a failed state and it is entirely our own fault!

Zimbabwean rulers even have intellectuals and purported thought leaders who support their rulership on both sides, it is not just about the Povo’s lack of political sophistication,” continued Chin’ono.

“If you disagree with them, they insult you instead of engaging you, on both ends of our politics.

“Our politics is still very rudimentary, the common denominator is only the equal dislike of either ZANUPF or the opposition and not values or any ideology.”

Chin’ono, you have hit the nail on the head! The root cause why Zimbabwe is  a failed state; and, unless we do something about it, doomed to blundering from pillar to post to the end of time; is because we are an ignorant, gullible and naive people. It is no surprise that everything we do including, “our politics is still very rudimentary,” as you aptly put it.

Most of our people are nothing more than Boxer the horse, in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. It took Boxer as long to learn the first four letters of the alphabet as it took other animals to learn all the 26 letters. It took him just as long again to learn the next four letters and by the time he had forgotten the first four letters. He gave up!

Boxer could not come up with a single coherent idea of his own and soon found comfort in blindly supporting everything Napoleon said. “Napoleon is always right!” became his motto.

Man is a creature of intellect and reason and it is most disconcerting when anyone let alone a significant proportion of the nation’s population not only stop thinking for themselves and treat mere mortals as infallible demigods who must not be questions. And, worst of all coerce others to do the same!

These “Chamisa Chete Chete!” “Chamisa is our only hope!” people are brain-dead; in the 1980s they worship Robert Mugabe with the same blind and irrational devotion. They call Chamisa “Change Champion in Chief” and yet not even the so called intellectuals amongst them name even one democratic change MDC/CCC have brought in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU. They have failed to implement even one token change.

One of the reasons why so many Zimbabweans are dumb and slow is their pathological dislike of detail. And, typical of one who knows f**k all, they like to masquerade as Steve Wonder’s “Misstra know it all”. Call their bluff and they take it personally; in a flash, they will turn what should be a civil debate into a no-holds barred brawling match. They would rather muddy the waters than concede a point!

It was Albert Einstein who said insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. In Zimbabwe we have been participating in flawed elections, so flawed even something as basic as a verified voters’ roll was missing, and expect the opposition to win big; even after 43 years of the Zanu PF mafiosi ring the elections. Such is the soaring heights of our people’s ignorance and collective insanity.

Like it or not, Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have failed to govern ourselves. Even now, 43 years after independence, in this day and age, we are still failing to hold free, fair and credible elections. Many Zimbabweans do not know what constitute free, fair and credible elections much less how to implement the democratic reforms to guarantee free elections. Like Boxer the horse, they have not been paying attentions to learn the A B C D of politics.

Zimbabwe is a failed state; 43 years of corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF misrule have left the country is economic ruins and political paralysis as the autocratic political system has clearly failed to produce quality leaders in Zanu PF and the opposition camp. And unless Zimbabweans pull up their socks and learn what constitute free elections and implement the democratic reforms and thus end this curse of rigged elections and bad governance; Zimbabwe will remain a failed state. Period!

The people of Zimbabwe must never forget NIKUV and the role it played in helping Zanu PF rigged the 2013 elections. NIKUV operated with the blessing of the Israeli government!

“Who brought the idea of the new constitution.”

Has the new 2013 constitution delivered and guaranteed the citizens' freedoms and rights, as all good constitution do? No! Then what are you wittering about!

MDC leaders praised the 2013 constitution with Welshman Ncube claiming it is one of the best. Tsvangirai called it an “MDC child!” Yet it failed the acid test because it is a weak and feeble constitution. Paul Mangwana, the Zanu PF MP and co-chair in the parliamentary committe that drafted the constitution, boasted soon after it was approved in the March 2013 that it was Mugabe who dictated the document.

The MDC leaders who had accomplished nothing during the GNU were desperate to claim they had done something promoted the dictator’s creed out of desperation. They also knew they would get away because their brain-dead followers will not know the difference.

Even know with all the evidence that the 2013 constitution was a waste of time, resources and yet another lost opportunity; there are some who still think it is a master piece! No wonder why the country is a failed state and it this rate has no hope of ever recovering. None!

  5. King Leopold of Belgium letter to the missionaries in Congo.

The number one take home for me is "Teach the niggers to read but not to reason!" For the one thing that has kept Africa as the most backward continent on earth is our failure to think for ourselves. The white colonialists actively discouraged Africans from thinking and our black nationalist leaders have carried on from where the white left off.

Merit counts for nothing in Zimbabwe, it is whom you know that matters and leaders surround themselves with village idiots whose primary purpose is to promote the leader. State institutions like ZEC, Police, Army, Judiciary, etc are all Zanu PF departments in all but name because they are all manned by political appointees who well paid to do the leaders’ wishes and not to think.

Even the opposition is in Zanu PF’s deep pockets one way or the other. During the 2008 to 2013 GNU, when the nation had its best chance ever to implement reforms and end the Zanu PF dictatorship, MDC leaders failed to implement even one token reform for two reasons. Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders and the leaders themselves were breathtakingly incompetent - there was not a spark of brain activity in their heads for five years! Proof they are brain-dead!

  6. SELF-IMPOSED Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) interim Secretary General, Sengezo Tshabangu has recalled 13 more legislators and five senators from Parliament.
The recalled MPs include Amos Chibaya (Mkoba), Tapfumanei Madzimbamuto (Seke), Stephen Chatiza (Goromonzi West), Admore Chivero (Chegutu West), Oliver Mutasa (Zvimba East) and opposition deputy spokesperson Gift Ostallos Siziba (Pelandaba-Tshabalala).

This is the latest batch of recalls by Tshabangu who in October axed 15 MPs, 9 senators and councillors.
Following the conclusion of recalls by the Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda, CCC members protested saying they had been granted an interdict barring more recalls.

This is a sick joke! But it helps to explain why MDC/CCC has failed to deliver even one democratic change in 23 years, including 5 in the GNU. Chamisa and company are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent and utterly useless.

The very fact that they still continue to enjoy a lot of political support bespeaks of the sorry quality of our electorate, even now with all the benefit of hindsight they still have not figured it out for themselves that the country is going nowhere. It is the ignorant and gullible electorate that is keeping the corrupt buffoons in power.

  7. ZIMBABWE’s runaway inflation rate remains unchanged at 848% per year, about 47 times more than the government’s Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) regulated Interbank exchange, according to internationally acclaimed economist Professor Steve Hanke.
A seemingly never-ending economic crisis has massively devalued Zimbabwe’s currency against the much favoured and stable American dollar.

Introduced at par with the US dollar, it trades at US$1: ZW$5,000 on RBZ’s platform and much more on the prevalent black market.

“Once again, Zimbabwe (848%/yr), Venezuela (330%/yr), Argentina (239%/yr), Syria (173%/yr), & Lebanon (134%) come in as the world’s top five inflaters,” said Hanke on Monday.

As long as Zimbabwe remains a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs who have to rig elections to retain power the country will continue to sink deeper and deeper into this hell-on-earth of our own making.

“The most commonly abused biblical verse is Romans 13:1, which states: everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.

What these supposed church leaders fail to teach their followers is that 'submitting oneself' to an authority is worlds apart from actually 'supporting' it.

For instance, Jesus Christ whilst still on this planet, submitted Himself to authority - even willingly surrendering to those who arrested, tried, and crucified Him.”

Four decades of Zanu PF corrupt and tyrannical rule has corrupted Zimbabwe society to utter uselessness. Key state institutions like ZEC, Police, Judiciary, Army, etc. are all Zanu PF departments in all but name, serving the glory of Caesar instead of the good of Rome! Even church leaders have succumbed to the corrupting influence of Zanu PF.

It is no secret that Church leaders have become Zanu PF political commissars delivering to the party the votes of their brainwashed congregation in return for money, cars, land and other economic benefits.

It is laughable that these corrupt church leaders should hide behind such biblical verses as Romans 13. Who does not know that Zanu PF rigged the August 2023 elections and has rigged elections ever since the country’s independence in 1980. To say this Zanu PF regime was established by God is tantamount to saying God approved Zanu PF’s blatant cheating and wanton violence which is clearly absurd.

Religion has become the opium of the people, as Chair Mao once aptly put it, and our corrupt and incompetent political leaders, on both sides of the political divide, have exploit this weakness. The all too familiar “God is in it!” claim is just nonsense as events have shown God was never in it as most of Chamisa’s claims have been untrue.

Zimbabwe is a failed state ruled by buffoons who, with the help of corrupt cronies, are exploiting the ignorance and fear of the masses to stay in power.

Ever since Adam and Eve were booted out of the Garden of Eden they and their descents have had earn their keep.

History shows us that those societies that have taken on the task searching for good leaders by understanding the issues of the day and diligently holding the leaders to account, removing bad ones if need be, have enjoyed peace and prosperity. Those societies in which the people are laid back and refused to think have had bad governance and never enjoyed peace or prosperity.

    “I don’t hate Nelson Chamisa.

I simply don’t support the idea of a political party without a constitution or a leadership structure where decisions are made by one man and his advisors, instead of collective decision making by known individuals who can be held accountable.

You are free to support such an arrangement, but don’t force me to support it by guilty tripping me with words like “…you hate Chamisa.”

The trouble with some of our people is they take everything that the leaders say as Gospel truth that no mortal should ever question and will attack all those who dare to question without even listening to the arguments. Ours is a society ruled by fear and ignorance and the ruling elite, their apologists and the brain dead mob - a formidable force by all accounts - are all out to defend the status quo.

Of course, it is nonsense that what leaders say is Gospel because these leaders are fallible humans. Only fools would ever fall for such claims as “God is in it!” especially when claims are foolish, so foolish God would never partake in such foolishness as participating in flawed elections.

How anyone with half a brain can ever justify that CCC should have no constitution, no structure and democratically elected officials and still be a democratic party beggars belief. We are now in the the realms of cloud cuckoo land of North Korea calling itself a democratic republic!

What is really disappointing here is that we should still be arguing over the need for such basic building blocks of democracy as constitution, verified voters’ roll, free elections, etc. 43 years after our independence and in this day and age. We should have learned all these things by now and moved on to other pressing issues and challenges as building economic infrastructure and keeping abreast with technology, etc.

We are stuck, because without mastering the basic we cannot move on, it would be like trying to master the works of Homer or Shakespeare when you, like Boxer in Animal Farm, have failed to learn the alphabet!

You should not even have to justify the need for a constitution much less be attacked for calling for it! No wonder we are a failed state and at this rate the future is grime but it is doubtful if the ruling elite and their apologist will ever allow the wildebeest mob to master the basic building blocks of a healthy democracy - they have an invested interest in the chaotic autocracy and want to keep it that way! As for the mob joining in the attack, they are brain dead, they do not even know what is in their own interest!

Led by former President of the United Republic of Tanzania , H.E. Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete the SADC Panel of Elders are coming to present "a unanimously adopted by SADC resolution to the ZIMBABWE political impasse " which is not exactly but similar to a TRANSITIONAL AUTHORITY proposed by the Leader of the Citizens Coalition for Change Nelson Chamisa, our Sources within SADC say.

It is one removing Zanu PF when there is a viable alternative, given the chaos and confusion in the opposition camp, Chamisa and his CCC are clearly a disaster. The only real alternative would be a NTA comprising technocrats but, admittedly, few have offered themselves and I don’t think SADC has the guts to go down that route either!

In short the only viable solution is NTA of technocrats with both Zanu PF and CCC kept well out of it. “Kana wadya gudo, chidya gono!” Go the full hog! No half way measures will do.

🟡I wish people could open their eyes. This is not a CCC problem.

    It’s a Zimbabwe problem.

Who suffers when they’re in Parliament with no counter-voice, nobody challenging the budget, nobody holding Ministers to account, nobody challenging corruption, nobody debating legislation, nobody speaking out against abductions, nobody holding State institutions to account and nobody concerned about the raging injustice, violence and crippling poverty?”

How naive! These elections are so flawed and illegal the government that emerge does not represent the democratic wish of the people the few opposition there are only for window dressing. Zanu PF knew that as long as the party allowed a few opposition to win the opposition will participate no matter how flawed the process got!

CCC are no different from Muzorewa and Sithole was to Ian Smith's 1978 Internal Settlement with one notable difference CCC constitutes the main opposition whereas Zanu and Zapu constituted the main opposition parties then.

Yes Zimbabweans must open their eyes to the reality that CCC are sell outs who have given up on reforms and settled for a share of the spoils of power.

You did not understand what the reforms are much less how they were supposed to be implemented. Even now, with the benefit of hindsight, you still have no clue what the reforms are.

It is not only those in the diaspora who have see that MDC/CCC have sold out. Some of the MDC/CCC leaders have lamented the sheer folly of participating in these flawed elections.

“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimising these sham elections which don't deliver,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.

“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”

If you are as clever as you say, why did you not follow Biti? You are following Chamisa blindly as you have always done because you cannot think for yourself. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform in 23 years because they are corrupt and incompetent and you are too foolish to see it and hence hang on to the idiotic claim “for now Chamisa is our best foot forward!”

“I understand your frustration with the current situation in Zimbabwe. It is clear that many people are disappointed with the MDC/CCC's failure to implement reforms and stop Zanu PF from rigging elections.

It is important to remember that change takes time and effort. The MDC/CCC has been working to bring about change in Zimbabwe for many years, and they have made some progress. However, they have also faced many challenges, and it is understandable that some people are feeling discouraged.

It is also important to remember that the MDC/CCC is not the only party in Zimbabwe. Zanu PF is still a powerful force, and they are determined to maintain their grip on power. In order to bring about real change, the MDC/CCC will need to continue to work hard and build a broad coalition of support.

I believe that the people of Zimbabwe are capable of achieving great things. They have already shown their determination to bring about change, and I believe that they will eventually succeed.

In the meantime, it is important to stay engaged in the political process. Hold your leaders accountable, and demand that they work for the betterment of all Zimbabweans. You can also get involved in local activism, which can help to make a difference in your community.

Together, we can build a better future for Zimbabwe.”

What progress has MDC/CCC leaders made in the last 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU? Name even one meaningful reform they have implemented?

MDC leaders have not only sold out by failing to implement reforms but have compounded the situation by participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship. Some of the CCC leaders like Tendai Biti and David Coltart have realised this and must have tried to get their colleagues to accept this reality.

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious – withdraw from the (2013) elections,” confessed Coltart in his Book, , The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

“The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility.”

When Coltart and Biti failed to talk their colleagues to boycott the elections and end the sheer folly of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy, greed ruled the roost; they too join the others.

It is a shame that it has taken 23 years and counting for a few Zimbabweans to wake up to the reality CCC leaders have sold out and they are agonising over holding CCC leaders to account. As for the overwhelming majority, they have no clue what reforms are much less that the primary purpose of GNU was to implement reforms, even now with the benefit if hindsight. It will take a few more decades before the penny finally drops, if at all!

According to Coltart CCC leaders have been participating in flawed elections “so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw,” but did not withdraw out of greed. Are you saying they have been participating because Chamisa “introduced computers to Mugabe”?

On the issue of titled deeds you are spot on, people must be given title deeds to the the land.

Do you know that the white economist John Robertson gave the Prime Minister Ian Smith a detailed proposal of how giving blacks tittle deeds to the land would increase the nation’s economic wealth. Ian Smith rejected the proposal because he did not want the blacks to be wealthy for political reasons.

After independence Mr Robertson gave the same proposal to PM Robert Mugabe and he too rejected it for the same reasons. The rural areas are Zanu PF’s strongholds for no other reason that that the party’s thugs and traditional leaders are the de facto landlords and they terrorise the rural peasants are nothing more than serfs beholden to the landlords.

One of the most transformative changes that can easily be implemented in Zimbabwe today is giving ordinary Zimbabweans title deeds to the land the live on. Instead of building mud-brick huts which rarely last more than a decade; people will build structures designed to last for generations knowing fully well they will not be force by some dimwit village head to move and if they do move they can sell the houses and all the developments on that land!

The primary purpose of the 2008 to 2013 GNU was to implement the democratic reforms to ensure free and fair elections. Morgan Tsvangirai and company were so comfortable they forgot about the reforms. “Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” boasted Zanu PF cronies when asked why MDC leaders were not implementing reforms during the GNU.

MDC/CCC leaders KNEW it was folly participating in flawed elections “so flawed, so illegal the rational step was to with draw,” as Coltart aptly put it. No doubt he tried to talk his colleagues to to the same but when they would not listen because of greed, he too joined them.

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious – withdraw from the (2013) elections,” confessed Coltart in his Book, , The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

It is shocking that whilst MDC/CCC leaders themselves admit greed got the better of them it is none other than ordinary Zimbabweans who are coming up with all manner of feeble excuses to deny it was greed. Some of these individuals are intellectuals and/or professionals expected to respect facts and truth.

MDC/CCC leaders sold out on reforms and they are now participating in flawed elections to perpetuate the dictatorship this is the truth and must deal with it because it is what is holding up meaningful change in the country.

By 2013 it was clear as day that MDC leader are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent it is shocking that the nation has agonised over this for a decade now and meanwhile the country has sunk deeper and deeper into this hell-on-earth of our own making! 21. I was in Zimbabwe in 2008 at the height of the 500 billion percent hyperinflation. The scrapping of the Z$ allow in November 2008 restored confidence in the economy. These economic measures were important but they were not the PRIMARY purpose of the GNU. It is shocking that even now, with the benefits of hindsight you still fail to appreciate that implementing the democratic reforms was the primary purpose of the GNU. This level of ignorance is at the heart of the country's failure to make the right decisions.

By 2013 it was clear MDC leaders were corrupt and incompetent and yet the people have continued to follow them like sheep to the slaughter. 22. The speaker said he was acting on a recall order issued by Tshabangu on 7 November 2023.

"The notice of the recall is effective from the date of the letter (from Tshabangu) which is the 7th of November," Mudenda said.

MPs caught in the latest opposition carnage include Admore Chievero (Chegutu West), Stephen Chatiza (Goromonzi West), Gift Ostallos Siziba (Pelandaba), Tapfumanei Willard Madzimbamuto (Seke), Oliver Mutasa (Zvimba East), Amos Chibaya (Mkoba North), Emma Muzondiwa (Midlands PR), Machirairwa Mugidho (Masvingo PR), Constance Chihota (Mashonaland East PR), Monica Mukwada (Manicaland PR), Sekai Mungani (Midlands PR), Linnet Mazingaidzo (Harare) and Dephine Gutsa (Mashonaland East PR).

Five senators who were recalled include Harare lawmakers Jameson Timba, Webster Maonera and Vongai Tome.

Also among Tshabangu's latest casualties are Mashonaland West province senators Editor Matamisa and Ralph T Magunje.

The recalls have plunged the opposition into disarray with pressure mounting on CCC leader Nelson Chamisa to take decisive action against attempts to annihilate his party by the state.

Chamisa was advised to have a party constitution, structures and democratically elected party leaders and he refused to listen insisting on running the party without any of these formalities in the name of “strategic ambiguity”.

Even if all the 18 MPs and senators recalled now and all those recalled earlier were all to win back their seats in the by-election, this whole fiasco has caused havoc in the party and could have been avoided.

The truth is these MDC/CCC leaders proved beyond all reasonable doubt that they are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent when they failed to implement even one token reform during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office and they forgot about the reforms.

Ever since the GNU MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections knowing fully well that Zanu PF was rigging and participating would give the regime legitimacy. They have persisted regardless out of greed, they knew Zanu PF would give away a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate.

Chamisa has conned the public to participate in the flawed elections promising CCC would win big because he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote-rigging loop-holes. The real shock is the number of Zimbabweans who were conned with these oxymoronic lies! The lies were to hide the real reason why CCC were hell bent on participating in these flawed elections - greed.

CCC will never implement the reforms to restore the right to free elections and worst of all they are participating in flawed elections to perpetuate Zanu PF dictatorship out of selfish greed. The people of Zimbabwe should have absolutely nothing to do with CCC. The are participating out of ignorance, they still have no clue what the reforms are much less that MDC/CCC have sold out on reforms, even with the benefit of hindsight. You have no clue what the democratic reforms were about and that the primary purpose of the GNU was to implement reforms, even now with the benefit of hindsight. You are not the only one, there are many of you all blissfully praising MDC leaders for their performance during the GNU and since.

No doubt many of you voted in the August 2023 elections convinced CCC will “win big” because Chamisa had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop-holes. How so many can be easily conned even after 43 years of Zanu PF mafiosi rigging elections beggars belief! But there it is!

You in participating in these flawed elections and supporting these corrupt and incompetent CCC leaders, you are playing your part in perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship and the failed state. “What planet are you from my brother!” Yeah right. You even have the chutzpah to brag about your stupidity! Nhamo inenharo!

“Ukaona uchirikupihwa nerweseri mari yekutsimbirira abiya ako just to Misinform avo machembere ne vasina access to information, igaroziva pachena kuti irukudya ne system iripo saka haungambotadza kui supporter its your hustle. Kana iwe uine better ideas better than chamisa start your own party tione kana gonzo rinoku vhotera here. If regime changes I see you pray everyday it doesn't change otherwise uchashaya pekuhwanda.”

One can always tell this is just one of those brain-dead Boxer the horse type individual with their “Napoleon is always right!” mentality. I have raised specific issues like Chamisa and company failed to implement even one token reform during the GNU. If you were capable of one original thought then would would address the issue and give an example of the reform they implemented.

With the Chamisa Chete Chete mentality you are programmed to defend Chamisa but not what he said or did because you have no clue what I am talking about or what Chamisa did!

Second, you are programmed to believe that anyone who holds Chamisa to account MUST be a Zanu PF supporter. I have called for the implementation of the democratic reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections. Zanu PF has never ever held free, fair and credible elections since the country’s independence and will never ever implement any reforms. And so to call me a Zanu PF supporter only shows you have no clue what I have been saying and stand for.

By participating in these flawed elections CCC is giving Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship. Here is what Tendai Biti said on the subject:

“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimising these sham elections which don't deliver,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.

“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”

Ignorance is indeed a curse worse than death for here is the ignorant shooting themselves in the foot by perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship and blissful happy doing so! If MDC had implemented the democratic reform during the GNU, Zimbabwe would have had free, fair and credible elections since 2013 and thus ten years of good governance! And we have many praising CCC for selling out on reforms and keeping Zanu PF in power. Kusazivha kufa zvokwadi!!

  26. Chamisa and many of the CCC leaders were in the MDC and to pretend otherwise is as foolish as Mnangagwa pretending he was never in Zanu PF. Chamisa is accountable for what MDC did just as Mnangagwa is accountable for what Zanu PF did during Mugabe's days particularly when the change of name has failed to produce change of behaviour!

“Just stop blaming the victims of zanu dictatorship simpuru, is it so hard?”

Address the issues I have raised and stop creating false narratives. I have said repeatedly that MDC leaders failed to implement even one democratic reform during the GNU because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office including the ministerial limos, the very generous salaries and allowances, the US$4 million mansion for Tsvangirai, etc., etc.

How has these bribes made MDC/CCC leaders “victims of the dictatorship”?

MDC/CCC have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuating the dictatorship out of selfish greed. How is perpetuating the dictatorship for a share of the spoils of power making Chamisa and company “victims of the dictatorship”?

Chamisa insisted in participating in these flawed 2023 elections claiming CCC will win big because he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop-holes. He was lying to hide the real reason why CCC were hell bent on participating in these flawed elections no matter what - greed. Again I ask you how does this blatant betray of the ordinary people make CCC leaders victims of the dictatorship?

    What are you wittering about?

“What do u hope to achieve? Try fighting dictatorship.”

I am fighting the dictatorship by making sure the people of Zimbabwe wake up to the reality on the ground. The people have risk all to elect MDC/CCC leaders these last 23 years on the understanding the party will bring about the democratic changes necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. The people must wake up to the reality that not even one token reforms was implemented and hence the reason why Zanu PF continues to rig elections.

MDC/CCC leaders wasted the golden opportunity to implement the reforms during the GNU and have since been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship for a share of the spoils of power.

Chamisa promised CCC would win big to hide the real reason why he was hell bent on participating in flawed election was greed.

Chamisa cannot promise change and get away with it when he cannot name even one token reform he has implemented in 23 years! I dare him (you are just an apologist with no clue what is going on) to name one reform MDC/CCC has implemented in 23 years

“Pliz prove that u are fighting kwete kungoshora vamwe iwe wakaitei wavapapi tikuteverewo.”

The trouble with some people is you do not understand what democratic accountability means? MDC/CCC leaders were elected into public office on the promise they will deliver democratic changes. It is the duty of all the citizens to hold them to account, to ask them why they have failed to bring about even one democratic change in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU.

I am holding MDC leaders to democratic account. What are you doing in asking me to prove what I have done? I have not held public office, what did you expect me to do other than hold those in power to account?

You are supposed to hold those in office to account but are instead fighting to stop those who are doing so! This is the idiotic behaviour that has made it near impossible to have a healthy and functioning democracy!

We have idiots who think leaders are demigod who should not be held to account. And so we have ended up with idiots electing buffoon into office and fighting to keep them there. When you have village idiots who don’t know what democracy is, universal suffrage is a curse!

“Kungoshora vamwe iwe wakaitei!” So is that the excuse why MDC/CCC leaders have sold out on reforms because I have not implemented any reforms myself? And who are you to be answering for them, let them answer for themselves. Idiot!

“Kkkk he is fighting the opposition nxaaaa fight Zanu kana uchigona.”

How naive! So you think when MDC leaders failed to implement even one reform during the GNU because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office “they were fighting the dictatorship”?

When Chamisa lied about having “winning in rigged election strategies” to justify participating in flawed elections no matter what CCC was “fighting the dictatorship”?

No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state, we really have some of the most naive and gullible people on earth.

  31. Factional power games and wars in ZANU PF have reached fever pitch if not boiling point. Those who know and understand ZANU PF factional fights will tell you the army is "very close to stepping in".
Addressing a ZANU PF gathering President Emmerson Mnangagwa out of the blue just lashed out:
" I've been Minister of State Security for a very long time . Most of the systems in Zimbabwe I created them. They will always remember who their Godfather is. So if you plan against me I will know ", the ZANU PF Leader says.
Our Sources within ZANU PF say these words were aimed at Vice President Rtd Gen Constantino G. Chiwenga who he is no longer having tea with as they used to.

What Mnangagwa is forgetting is that after the 2017 military coup Judge George Chiweshe said the coup “was legal, justified and constitutional”. He should know that if the coup was justified, legal and constitutional once, it can be justified, legal and constitutionalised again and again!

When it comes to knowing what is going on, Mugabe had spies everywhere. Multi-layer spies networks to double check and cross check the information. Spies to spy on spies, etc. And yet even he did not see the 15 November 2017 coup coming or, at least, was helpless to stop it!

One of the reason the whole world did not lift a finger to protest the 15 November 2017 coup is because the world was keen to see the back of Mugabe after all he had been rigging elections to stay in power. Mnangagwa must know that even SADC’s own election observers said he rigged the Augusta elections! At least SADC rubber stamped the rigged 2013 elections for Mugabe.

“Zimbabwean people are not what you say they are. They work with what they have at their disposal. The MDC/CCC as you put it is what is at their disposal, is what's on the ground trying their best to take them out of the bondage. You see sellouts, Zimbabweans on the ground and like-minded in the diaspora see brave companions standing up to the regime. Stop insults and contribute to the struggle.”

Zimbabweans are an ignorant, naive and gullible people this is precisely why we are a failed state. Many participated in the August elections because they believed Chamisa’s lies. CCC would win big because “I have plugged all Zanu PF vote rigging loop-holes. Shunga! Shunga! Shunga one shunga dozen!” he boasted.

It was all hot air to hide the real reasons he was participating were greed and incompetence. Day after the elections he was the one complaining of “gigantic election fraud”.

Zimbabweans need to wake up to the political reality that CCC will never ever implement any reforms to ensure free elections. CCC “brave champions standing up to the regime!” Yeah right! Standing up to the regime and yet failed to implement even one reform in 23 years and has been participating in flawed elections to give the regime legitimacy. The fraudulent lying must stop!
