Corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless CCC are mile-stone round nation's neck. Alas! Povo still don't know it! W Mukori

You can count of MDC/CCC leaders to fight each other like wild cats. If it is not one thing it over half a dozen of the other - all trivial and irrelevant to the long suffering voters who elected them.

Embattled Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has once again been thrown into a political tailspin as self-imposed secretary general Sengezo Tshabangu has recalled Harare Mayor Ian Makone and his deputy Kudzai Kadzombe.” reported Bulawayo 24.

“Barely three months after the general election, Tshabangu's power trip continues in CCC as he has recalled nine more councillors.

“Ian Makone, Kudzai Kadzombe, Denford Ngadziore, Lovejoy Chitegu, Samuel Gwenzi, Chido Hamauswa, Tiriboyi Sabina, Florence Cheza. Matimba Fadzai, are the latest to be axed by Tshabangu.”

Until Chamisa finally get off his backside and sort out CCC’s constitution, structure and have proper elections; there will be more recalls.

It was the then USA ambassador to Zimbabwe 2004 to 2007, Chris Dell, reported back to Washington in a leaked cable that Morgan Tsvangirai was “a flawed, indecisive character who would become an albatross round the nation’s neck if he was ever to get into power.”

The ambassador could have said the same of all the MDC leaders, Tendai Biti, Welshman Ncube, David Coltart, Nelson Chamisa, etc., etc. After 23 years on the political stage, 5 of which in the GNU, MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token democratic change.

During the GNU, Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and they forgot about the reforms. And ever since the GNU MDC/CCC have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a share of the spoils of power.

Whilst ambassador Dell dismissed Tsvangirai as a disaster if he was to be a national leader after meeting the guy a handful of times. Many Zimbabweans have yet to come to the same conclusion even after 23 years and a mountain of evidence of MDC/CCC corruption and breath-taking incompetence.

In many ways, one can understand why SADC leaders did not want to take Zanu PF to task over the damning SADC election report. It is all very well denying Zanu PF political legitimacy; one has to also consider what next. The prospect of having to work with Nelson Chamisa and his banded mongoose must have frighten the hell out of all the SADC leaders!

Nelson Chamisa and his entourage of MDC/CCC of banded mongoose are indeed the mile-stone round the nation’s neck. Sadly, the people, in their ignorance and naivety are not even aware of it! Ignorance is indeed a curse worse than death!

  1. Chamisa must now admit how much his "strategic ambiguity" has contributed to the chaos and confusion!

“He needs to form a new party URGENTLY with a NEW leadership structure and constitution, and then fight.
Unless there is a palpable crisis, the region will not intervene at all.

In its current construct CCC is weak, there is a lot of noise without substance, the diplomatic corps have lost confidence in Chamisa’s grouping.”

You are spot on, the chaos in CCC would have forced SADC leaders to think again about denying Zanu PF legitimacy give the chaos in the CCC camp!

“Wilbert you are going too far - touch not the anointed - Attack Chamisa the politician like you have always done Not Chamisa the person - wa kuenda kunonyudza.”

After spending many, many man-years wittering about change and yet has nothing to show for it, people like you Svosve must be ashamed of yourself.

Beside Chamisa himself claiming to be “anointed” and dimwit around him repeating it; there is nothing to show that he is anointed. Nothing! All the predictions he claimed God was in it have not come true - proof God was not in it!

Chamisa is not anointed, he is just a mere mortal who has proven to be corrupt and incompetent and will be held to democratic account. All those who hold public office must be accountable to the people including those pretending to be divinely inspired!

“Wakuenda kunonyudza!” Yeah right! So you cannot account for CCC leaders’ incompetence and think you will threaten me into silence. How typical, you think everyone can be ruled by empty slogan and fear!

  4. Ignorance is a curse worse than death because it is the one vice in which one is induced to act against their own interest again and again. and again. How anyone can be conned to giving up reforms and free and fair election on the promise CCC will win rigged elections; especially after 43 years of Zanu PF mafiosi rigged election; beggars belief! How anyone does not know what constitutes free and fair elections in this day and age is inexcusable; it is not rocket science.

What makes ignorance so insidious disease is the ignorant think they know best and so they are impermeable to reason and facts.

Chibaya complain of violence in the Gutu West by election.

We all know that Zanu PF rigs elections, we have known this since the late 1990s. The people have risked life and limb these last 23 years to elect MDC/CCC leaders on the understanding the party will bring about the democratic changes necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. After 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU, MDC/CCC have not implemented even one token reform.

There is no denying that MDC had the golden opportunity to implement reforms during the GNU and they wasted it out of greed. Mugabe bribed Tsvangirai and company with the trappings of high office and they kicked reforms out of the window.

MDC/CCC have been participating in these flawed elections, knowing fully well that Zanu PF was rigging the elections and most significantly that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. Still, they have participated regardless for the same reasons they failed to implement even one reform - greed and breath-taking incompetence.

To entice the people to participate and to hide their greed, MDC/CCC leaders having been telling the people the party has devised winning in rigged elections strategies. All hot air, of course. The tragedy is the people have believed the lies again and again and again.

Albert Einstein said insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We have been participating in flawed elections for 43 years and counting expecting the opposition to win rigged elections! Of course, it is tragic that a whole nation can be so shallow, thick and slow!

“CCC is behind President Chamisa. The most popular politician in Zimbabwe is President Chamisa. The hope of citizens is in President Nelson Chamisa.”

Chamisa is taking advantage of the fact that most Zimbabweans out there have no clue what the democratic changes the nation has been dying for are much less how they were to be implemented. Even now, with the benefit of hindsight, they still have no clue.

If Zimbabweans knew that MDC leaders sold out during the GNU by failing to implement even one reforms and have been participating in these flawed elections out of greed; they would not be following Chamisa blindly like sheep to the slaughter. Democracy demands that the people must be informed and diligent, Zimbabweans and not ignorant and naive!

  7. I totally agree, ignorance is a curse worse than death for in their ignorance many have become their own worst enemy!

Most Zimbabweans have no clue what the democratic changes the nation has been dying for are much less how they are implemented. Even now, after decades of calling for democratic change and with the benefit of hindsight of the GNU years, many Zimbabweans still do not know that the primary purpose of 2008 to 2013 GNU was to implement reforms.

If Zimbabweans knew that MDC leaders sold out during the GNU by failing to implement even one reforms and have been participating in these flawed elections out of greed; they would not be following Chamisa blindly like sheep to the slaughter. It is most disconcerting when a human being is conned again and again into giving up his/her right to free and fair elections because they believe such nonsense as winning in rigged elections strategies, even after 43 years of Zanu PF mafiosi rigging elections. How can anyone be that ignorant and naive!

  8. Still MDC/CCC did have the golden opportunity to implement the reforms and they wasted it and have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. The y must be held to democratic account. And the people of Zimbabwe must be educated on what is going on so that they stop following leaders blindly like sheep to the slaughter!

“It's unfortunate we are not history conscious.
Zanu is not a political party, Escobarism is the organisation penchant..
We are trying to sanitise this organisation that's why we are failing in all angles.

Bring out ideas forget the opposition.”

Zimbabwe had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms during the GNU and MDC leaders wasted it. It was MDC not Zanu PF who wasted the opportunity proof we need a competent opposition.

Most Zimbabweans have no clue what the reforms are much less how they are supposed to be implemented. They understand that no reforms were implemented and they instinctively blame Zanu PF for it. Ask them why they blame Zanu PF they cannot tell you because they do not know what the reforms are or how they were to be implemented.

What they know is MDC are the good guys and Zanu PF are the bad guys. In this binary mentality it is inconceivable for the good guys to be bad and yet that is exactly what he have here!

The impossible task here is convincing someone that MDC leaders sold out when the do not know what the reforms are much less how they are implemented. Facts, evidence, etc. mean nothing to these people! MDC are the good guys who can do no wrong and nothing anyone else says or does will even change that!

Think of the GNU as the get-out-of-jail card. The question MDC leaders must answer is why did you fail to make use of it? To keep wittering about how Zanu PF is a ruthless party is like talking how thick the jail walls are, the razor fence, armed guards, etc. When you have a get-out-of-jail card, you walk out of the front gate and are not concerned about the thick walls, etc.

It is interesting to note that if SADC had proposed a second GNU or NTA second get-out-of-jail card, it is clear CCC would have wasted it confident they will get away with it, no questions asked, again!

“Forget the opposition!” The primary purpose of the opposition is to implement the democratic reforms and MDC/CCC leaders have already proven they are corrupt and incompetent and will never ever implement the reforms. Keeping a corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless opposition only shows you do not know what you want much less how it will be achieved! Even if we got another get-out-of-jail card, it will be waste it!

“Why do u think our leaders are the opposition, why are those who had 2/3 majority in parliament not called to account?are they your uncles, or you are paid to push a narrative? Why do u decide to look the other way? You are scared of your masters? You are hell bent on discrediting the only voice of reason left..very few people read your articles through anymore as they letters of hate more than reason.you are no less than Tshabangu if at least anyone happens to take u seriously.”

Did you ever expect Zanu PF to implement any reforms? I for one do not and so why should I expect them to implement the reforms now.

Zimbabwe is a failed state and without reforms the country is going nowhere. What we should be focusing on therefore is getting a competent opposition who will implement the reforms!

Nelson Chamisa said CCC will win big because he had plugged all the vote rigging loop-hole and yet failed to even deploy election agents at each polling station. MDC has failed to implement even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU. How anyone can still say Chamisa is the “only voice of reason!” goes to show just how ignorant and naive some people are.

Chamisa is not only a mere mortal but one with a track record as a corrupt and incompetent leader that anyone should still regarding as a demigod explains why Zimbabwe is a failed state. Democracy demands that the people must be informed and diligent, what we have is an ignorant and naive electorate, malleable as mud!

  11. “Varipa repeat mode😂 ok kwacho eke 🙌🏽 Mr Wilbert tabhoo.”

We are talking about rigged elections and the only cure is to implement the reforms. One cannot talk about rigged elections, we have just had yet another rigged elections on 23 August, and not talk about reforms.

It is shocking that the country has had rigged elections now for 43 years and counting and it is water off a duck’s back. I have talked about reforms and you are frothing, because you are bored!

The truth is you have no clue what rigged elections and reforms are much less what the consequences of the rigged elections are. You have contributed nothing to the discussion and will never contribute anything of substance. Wadiyi undovhiya mbudzi!

  12. We have gone through this before, are you saying MDC failed to implement even one reform because "reforms are ineffective on a dictator"?

“They thought the new constitution they helped draft covered all loopholes and would be respected and followed by Zanu
Zanu acts contrary to the constitutional law at will
How many ‘Thou Shalt Not’ should be inserted in constitution to make them obey. It’s not that the constitution is materially deficient of Thou Shalt Not.”

The 2013 constitution is weak and feeble, it never gave you your freedoms and rights and when it did, it gave them in one section and took them all away in the next. Mugabe dictated that constitution as Paul Mangwana boasted! SADC wanted the reforms implemented before the 2013 elections because they knew the constitution was weak.

  14. CITIZENS Coalition for Change (CCC) has swiftly moved to clip the wings of self-imposed Secretary General Sengezo Tshabangu by filing a court challenge to interdict him from representing the opposition party.

Tshabangu has left the opposition shaken after instigating recalls of members of parliament and councillors, undoing the gains of CCC in the August plebiscite.

This is a mess of Chamisa's own making and one can only hope he is finally going to sort this one out! The people of Zimbabwe are desperate for change and enough of this idiotic circus!

  15. The SADC sub-committee appointed by SADC after the SADC Extraordinary Summit of Heads of States and Governments on Zimbabwe in LUANDA ANGOLA on November 4 will be touching down in Zimbabwe on November 19.

The SADC Sub-committee consists of President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique , President Hage Geingob of Namibia and President Samia Siluhu of Tanzania.

Our Sources within SADC say before the arrival of this SADC Sub-committee a SADC Panel of Elders led by Chairman Dr Jakaya Kikwete will already be in ZIMBABWE to specifically meet Citizens Coalition For Change Leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa and President Emerson Mnangagwa.

If SADC swept its own damning Zimbabwe election report under the carpet this will do irreparable damage to SADC’s own political credibility. The thing is even if SADC was to act and deny Zanu PF political credibility, then what?

Then 2008 to 2013 GNU in Zimbabwe accomplished nothing despite the best effort by SADC, especially SA’s Minister Lindiwe Zulu, to get MDC to implement the democratic reforms. Not even one token reform was implemented in five years and hence the reason we are still having the problem of rigged elections. CCC leaders are still the same corrupt, incompetent individuals who were in MDC during the last GNU and no one can seriously expect Chamisa and company to do any better.

Indeed, CCC are so engrossed in fighting each other, Zanu PF will do as it damn well please in the second GNU. SADC leaders will have to be really foolish to deny Zanu PF legitimacy knowing fully well that the new GNU will just be another waste of time! I do not envy SADC leaders’ position; they damned is they sweep the report under the carpet and damned if they deny Zanu PF legitimacy.

Still, I would say SADC must deny Zanu PF legitimacy and demand a National Transition Authority is which neither Zanu PF nor CCC play a part. Yes Zanu PF will try to make the country ungovernable is denied a role. The point is giving them a role would certainly mean not all reforms are implemented, if any are implemented at all. We really should not allow Zanu PF to hold the nation to ransom. Period!
