"Animal Farm" has one brain-dead, Boxer the horse. Zimbabwe has millions of Chamisa chete chete members. W Mukori

If I ever have a say in Zimbabwe’s education system then Animal Farm will be compulsory reading at primary school level, secondary school and high school.

One of the reason why Zimbabwe is a failed state is the personality cult mentality.

By the late 1990s the people of Zimbabwe realised that Mugabe and Zanu PF cronies were corrupt, incompetent and murderous thug dragging the nation deeper and deeper into the abyss. It was clear that as long as Zanu PF continued to enjoy dictatorial powers including powers to rig elections the regime will continue to drag the nation deeper and deeper into the abyss.

The solution: the nation must elect opposition leaders who will implement the democratic reforms to end Zanu PF’s dictatorial power and end the curse of rigged elections.

In 1999 Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends launched their party promising to deliver the democratic changes the nation was dying for. They even named the party Movement for Democratic Change to underline their primary purpose was to deliver democratic changes to end the Zanu PF dictatorship.

Today, 26 years since MDC/CCC leaders appeared on the national political stage, Zanu PF continues to blatantly rig elections and is more powerful than ever because not even one token reform was implemented in the 26 years. Not even one! WHY?

MDC/CCC leaders have had many opportunities to implement the democratic reforms, the best being during the 2008 to 2013 GNU; they wasted the all. Mugabe bribed Morgan Tsvangirai & co. with the trappings of high office and, with the snouts in the feeding trough, they forgot about the reforms. And ever since the GNU debacle, MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.

It is not as if the MDC/CCC leaders do not know this, they do!

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2013) elections. The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Chamisa lied about plugging all Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes and millions of his Chamisa chete chete brigade members believed the lie and participate in the flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. This was NOT the first time Chamisa conned his follows to do stupid things.

MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in all but name; playing for team A to win and have legitimacy.

The MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token democratic change in 26 years and the people have never ever asked why! The answer to that takes us back to Animal Farm, to one animal in particular - Boxer the horse.

Boxer had the personality cult mentality, he believed Napoleon was a demigod who could do no wrong. “Napoleon is always right!” was his motto!

“Chamisa is always right!” is the unspoken motto of the Chamisa chete chete brigade members. Understand that and you understand why Chamisa has conned millions to participate in flawed elections; so flawed, so illegal, Zanu PF victory is guaranteed and participating guarantees the regime legitimacy and perpetuates the nation’s suffering. The brigade members have participated in their millions again and again because Chamisa asked them to participate and Chamisa isn always, ALWAYS right”!

Animal farm had one Boxer with a personality cult mentality Zimbabwe has millions of Chamisa chete chete brigade members and they are loud, very loud, full of sh***t  and they have a vote! They are holding the nation to ransom.

Mnangagwa has signed CAB3 into law dragging the nation into deeper and deeper trouble. The future is grimmer now more than ever. The nation is right to push the panic button.

"Enough is enough!" proclaimed the group calling for the one million protest on 31 July 2026.

The question one must ask is; Has the nation been sitting and twiddling its finger until now? Of course not! Zimbabweans have been fighting to end the Zanu PF dictatorship for decades. And so the follow up question that must be asked is: Why has the nation failed to stop this Zanu PF dictatorship juggernaut for the last 46 years? 46 YEARS!

The danger of Zimbabweans repeating the same idiotic mistakes that have allowed Zanu PF to ride roughshod over us all these years is REAL. The more so, considering most of those leading the protests are none other than the same individuals who have failed to implement even one token reform these last 26 years. They sold out!

Failing to implement even one reform in 26 years including the 5 GNU years was an infinitely easier task than stopping Zanu PF rigging CAB3 much less getting reserves. And we are to trust the sellouts with an infinitely more difficult task when the sold out on the easier task!

It is not good enough to hope for change we must have a plan and competent leaders to implement the plan. No more of these sellout leaders with their idiotic lies and promises of changes "this time without failure"

"You have a mental problem. Where are the new leaders. Why can't they organise the protests. You deride those trying calling for a nonexistent new. We said we need all opposed here. If ouf stance is against your philosophy better exit by yourself because this continued criticism of everyone trying will not be tolerated here."

Answer the issues raised. It is true that the Grant Coalition is making the big song and dance of how it is going to deliver change without a plan. The call for a united front is louder than the call for a plan and strategy. Quantity is once again trumping quality.

You are just repeating the same foolishness, you have learned nothing.

You are resorting to the usual threats because you cannot offer any rational arguments.

The people of Zimbabwe need to know they are being lead up the garden path and let them decide for themselves if they are still want to follow blindly.

    1. Is that your excuse for refusing to hold leaders to account.

All those behind this Grand Coalition are occupying public spare, what the coalition stand for affects ALL Zimbabweans and, per se, they are accountable. We are not going to let these people go through with the protest and then hold them to account. We are going to hold them to account here and now and from henceforth!

I know nincompoops like you do not want leaders held to account. Get used to it because that is not negotiable!

"Mind provoking script, and it may be taken as an offensive script by those without flexible minds.

We must be truthful to one another. There must be no cover-up for our past, that is accountability, which will lead to transparency and hygiene in our politics!

We have a horrible past that must not be allowed into the future!

Are we for the truth, or are we just hypocrites?

Surely, revolution sheep will gather around the truth with a repentant heart.

      We must save Zimbabwe 🇿🇼!!!!!"

Zimbabwe has been on this path of rigged elections and bad governance for the last 46 years. The nation has risked livelihoods, limbs and many lives in the fight for democratic changes and good governance. MDC/CCC leaders have had many opportunities to deliver the democratic changes and they have wasted them all.

At every turn they have promised to deliver the changes the nation was dying for. They have lied again and again.

When Zanu PF started this CAB3, Tendai Biti and others assured the nation the bill will require two referendum and the regime will never win either referendum. They refused to accept the possibility the regime will rig the amendment process.

Zanu PF rigged the amendment process and worded the bill in such a way it did not even require one amendment. Now the same sellout are tell the nation they will block SAB3!

Participating in flawed processes has consequences - it gives Zanu PF legitimacy. Is it possible that Biti and co. are once again doing Zanu PF a great favour and stringing the nation along?

Chamisa has lied to millions to con them to participate in flawed elections with tragic consequences to the nation. I have never heard you complain about that. I warn the nation of the dangers of believing Chamisa’s lies and you are up in arms defending Chamisa. Only a moron would do that! And I am here to hammer some sense into these morons’s head!

Your intellectual agility is what one can expect from one with the IQ of a garden slug!

It has not occurred to you that Chamisa lied to you about plugging vote rigging loop hole to con you to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate your own suffering. Chamisa lied to you to keep "the one collecting your tax" in power! Fcuk me! How many times does one have to say this before the penny finally drop!

It is no surprise Zimbabwe is a failed state, we have millions of individuals out there with the IQ of garden slugs and, to crown it all, we gave them a voice and a vote! The garden slogs are holding the nation to ransom!

If we do not learn from the past we are certain to repeat the same mistakes. MDC leaders sold out during the GNU ands we are paying dearly for it today. Worse still we have the same sellouts in positions of power today precisely because we swept their failures under the carpet. Chamisa is accountable for what he did - that is not negotiable. You can flip you coin day and nigh, that is not going to change!

Frankly, I am sick and tired of the nincompoops’ endless excuses why leaders should not be held to account! Some even call themselves democrats!

Yes he lied about plugging vote rigging loop hole. And yes, his brain-dead supporters believed his idiotic lies and participated in flawed elections.

Here is some home truths that must be hammered into the brain-dead supporters. Participating in the flawed elections had consequences. It gave Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship and the nation’s suffering. Zanu PF has allowed Chamisa & co. to win a few gravy train seat, to entice them to participate no matter how flawed and illegal the process get.

The whole nation is suffering because of MDC/CCC leaders’ greed and the millions of their supporters’ stupidity.

Of corse both MDC/CCC leaders and the idiotic supporters must be held to account.

So if you think pleading that you are a moron is enough for you go Scott-free, think again.

You cannot bear to see Chamisa held to account because you have a deep rooted personality cult mentality. To you Chamisa is a demigod. How any one can be so shallow, thick and slow beggars belief! Still some one has to knock some common sense into your empty nincompoop head. And I have the right tool for the job - a sludge hammer!

Do you accept that ALL leaders MUST be accountable to the people? But if you have a personality cult mentality and leaders are demigods then the issue of accountability does not exist. How anyone can consider a mere mortal like Chamisa a demigod beggars belief!

Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. The people elect their representatives to manage the affairs of state on their behalf. It is for the people to make sure the representatives are accountable to them at all times.

In Zimbabwe the people fear the leaders so much so the later have become either demigods who can do no wrong or the leaders themselves have become so powerful they are the hyenas and povo are the goats. A demigod is not accountable to the mere mortals nor is a hyena accountable to the goats!

We have yet another layer on complexity. In Zimbabwe the MDC/CCC leaders have become Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy. The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that millions of Zimbabweans have failed to realise this transition.

And so transforming the dysfunction political system in Zimbabwe into a healthy and functioning democracy is going to be a challenge.

Yes we CAN make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but that must start with the rejection that a mere mortal can be a demigod and that politicians are the ravenous hyena and we are the helpless goat!

The people in Masvingo know Rugeje very well, they will never ever forget him because he headed the 2008 Operation Mavhotera Papi in that province.

Mnangagwa and Chiwenga orchestrated the military style operation country wide and Rugeje implemented the plan with ruthless efficiency in Masvingo. His task was to punish the ordinary people for having dared to reject Zanu PF in the March 2008 vote. Millions were internally displaced, hundreds of thousands had their property destroyed, were beaten and or raped, and over 500 were murdered.

How ironic that Mnangagwa and Chiwenga were quick to distance themselves from Mugabe after the 2017 military coup, calling themselves the Second Republic. The pair kept Mugabe in power even when the people had rejected him!

Mnangagwa and his cronies will never deliver vision 2030, it is a mirage and they know it. What they are after is absolute power; they have rigged elections and even killed to secure it.

Mnangagwa has spend the last three years and billions of dollars to impose CAB3 on the nation. It has nothing to do with development and everything to do with consolidating his dictatorial powers.

The real tragedy for Zimbabwe is the nation has had sell outs like Makomichi and Rugeje who have willingly done Zanu PF’s dirty work even to the point of shedding innocent blood. They would sell their own mother for a price and boast they had a mother to sell! There are thousands of Rugejes and Makomichis out there, they come in all shapes and a sizes and they are everywhere including in the opposition. They are a curse to the nation!

Here we go! This is like having some one in High School failing to understand what is before him because he does not even understand the alphabet - grade one stuff.

By the late 1990s many Zimbabweans had come to the conclusion that Zanu PF was dragging the nation into economic ruin. Mugabe's "Gutsa ruzhinji!" (Mass prosperity!) was a mirage. The reality on the ground said mass poverty.

The nation also came to the conclusion that as long as Zanu PF retained its dictatorial powers including the power to rig elections the nation would never ever have any meaningful economic change because the gross mismanagement and rampant corruption, the hallmarks of Zanu PF will continue.

The third national realisation was that Zanu PF has invested everything to establish and impose the one party dictatorship, notable the Gukurahundi massacre, the party will never want to give up its dictatorial powers. Zanu PF will NEVER EVER dismantle the dictatorship and lose the dictatorial power. NEVER EVER!

If the nation cannot count on Zanu PF reforming itself out office then solution was to find others who would do it.

Morgan Tsvangirai and friends launched their party in 1999 promising to deliver the democratic changes to end the Zanu PF dictatorship the nation was dying for. They even named the party the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).

Zanu PF blatantly rigged the last elections, 2023, has just passed CAB3 to consolidate its dictatorial powers - proof MDC have accomplished nothing to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship. NOTHING! 26 years and not even one token reform implemented.

When one holds MDC/CCC leaders to account for selling out; it is mortifying to hear some say Zanu PF should reform itself out of office! Fcuk me!

Universal suffrage is a blessing but not when the right to vote has been extended to millions with a personality cult mentality. They are ignorant, naive and gullible and so are easily conned to do stupid things.

In Zimbabwe millions of voters are locked into supporting MDC/CCC leaders no matter; whilst they have accept the need for opposition who will implement the democratic changes to end the Zanun PF dictatorship they cannot accept the reality that MDC/CCC leaders have sold out. Instead of holding MDC/CCC leaders to account for their failures the brain-washed supporters blame Zanu PF for failing to reform itself out of power - a reality we have all agreed would never ever happen!

Here we go! You are not concerned about your nPresident being "attacked". You are equally concerned about yourself being "attacked"!

We all know you confuse being held to account with being attacked. You cannot bear to be held to account, your instinct is to consider yourself special way about ordinary mortals, after all you are an MP, an Honourable Member. You cannot be held to account by mere mortals.

Get off your high horse! You were an ordinary mortal like the rest of us before you were elected and you are still a mere mortal, title or title. So cut the crap.

You knew that Zanu PF was rigging the 2023 elections and that participating would give the regime legitimacy. You still participated and conned others to do the same out of greed. GREED! The nation is suffering the consequences of your greed.

You, Chamisa and the rest of the MDC/CCC leaders are being asked to account for being Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy for 30 pieces of silver.

Never ever try to insult my intelligence with the "you are attacking me" bulls***t. NEVER EVER!

I am surprised this came from Team Pachedu, the should know that the Army should not even be involved in “peaceful protests”. This is the work of the Police.

I know why Team Pachedu is asking for the Army, since the advent of Second Republic the regime has used the Army to manage public protests. Needless to say they have not been peaceful.

During Mugabe’s days he used the Police and only Zanu PF organised protest have been peaceful.
