It is curious that Mr Chamisa acknowledges MDC went into these elections confident the party would stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. He failed to acknowledge that whatever measures MDC had to stop the rigging did not work.
MDC had many golden opportunities to implement the democratic reforms to stop rigged elections particularly during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. They failed to implement even one reform in five years! SADC leaders tried to get MDC leaders to implement the reforms and not to take part in the elections without first implementing the reform but were roundly ignored!
These elections should have never taken place without reforms! NEVER!
@ Opinion Since Mnangagwa took over power in a military coup last November he has made countless promises which today, one year on, are turning out to be nothing but a cocktail of lies. Zimbabweans it’s time to open our eyes and say enough is enough to this dispensation of lies. The time is now that we all say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH to this evil dispensation of lies! The people of Zimbabwe have yet to take their responsibility as citizens to hold those in power to account seriously. It is now clear that Mnangagwa rigged the recent elections and therefore he does not have the mandate to govern the country, he is illegitimate. It is for the people themselves to stand up and demand that he steps down so the nation can have free, fair and credible elections.
Zimbabwe is not going to have any meaningful economic recovery and political stability until we cure ourselves of this curse of rigged elections and pariah state.
THE crumbling Zimbabwean economy and all its problems has not deterred the affluent and monied folks in Harare from bringing in two more head-turning beasts of the road: a Mercedes-Maybach s650 and Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV have just landed at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare.
Zimbabwe have created the filthy rich ruling class and the filthy poor masses. Billions of dollars are being sucked from the nation to buy these expensive cars and watches, to build mansions and to pay for the expensive health trips abroad. This is money that should be have been invested in the country to build companies, to fund our own health services, etc. for the good of all Zimbabweans.
It is shocking how anyone would look for other things such as sanctions to blame for the country's growing poverty when the explanation is there before them - corruption and greedy. It is the filthy rich who have made the filthy poor!

It's not that simple, unless observing from a distance.
