Yes, I agree replacing Chamisa with a competent leader would help but will not guarantee any meaningful political change because as long as we still have 2 million plus brain dead voters who are easily conned to do foolish things we are not out of the woods!

Multiple sources confirm he presented a classified dossier detailing vast financial crimes and state capture operations by individuals orbiting the President. He demanded the immediate arrest of several figures — including Tagwirei and Chivayo — and warned that the party risked total delegitimisation if it continued protecting known looters.
The atmosphere was electric, the tension palpable. Mnangagwa reportedly dismissed the document as “politically motivated.” But the damage was done. For the first time since the 2017 coup, Chiwenga had abandoned his quiet tactical patience.
He was no longer manoeuvring through proxies. He was confronting the President directly — dossier in hand.”
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that all this factional war in Zanu PF is proof of the nation’s failure to govern herself and this has left the nation in economic ruin, political paralysis and left millions our our people living in abject poverty.
Worst of all, whatever the outcome of the present dog eat dog fight in Zanu PF it is not likely to bring an end to the political madness afflicting the nation. There is nothing to suggest any one of the key players realise the sheer futility of the present situation much less what to do to end it.

You have hit the nail on the head; “the system is not broken all - it’s built to enable corruption”. In 2012 the late Edward Chindori Chininga revealed in a parliamentary report that the the diamond mining concession did not compel the hold to declare the quantity and quality of diamonds, to whom the diamonds were sold and for how much and did not have to name any of the beneficiaries of the mining activities. In short, the mining concession was a licence to loot and as you can well imagine everyone wanted the concession but only a very select few ever got it.
Of course, the favoured few did not take kindly to whistleblowers like Chindori-Chininga blubbering about their looting. He died in a freak car accident a few weeks after he released his report. A few stuffed brown envelops and the report disappeared into thin air like the morning mist under the Africa sun!
The mafia are not only the godfathers of corruption they are the ruling elite too. They are above the law and any law saying otherwise they will “fix” it!
As long as Zanu PF continues to enjoy carte blanche powers to rig elections and retain their iron grip on political power; they are using the vast wealth from the looting activities to bankroll the vote rigging juggernaut; nothing will change!

The accusations centre on a controversial document titled "Breaking Barriers Initiative," which Mawarire claims outlines plans to amend Section 92 of the Constitution - the provision mandating that the President be elected by universal adult suffrage.
According to Mawarire, the document proposes that future presidents be elected by Parliament rather than by the general electorate, effectively paving the way for Mnangagwa's continued stay in power through a legislative process rather than a popular vote.
"That document talks about - it is an attempt actually - to legally, so to speak, extend the President's term of office by amending Section 92 of the Constitution," said Mawarire. "Section 92 states that the President is to be elected by all registered voters in Zimbabwe.
"The repeal of Section 92, which is being pushed by that document, would then result in a situation where the President would be elected only by Parliament. The thinking is that if that constitutional amendment goes through, it has the legal effect of ending the President's current term," he added.
The claims come amid renewed focus on internal Zanu-PF debates over succession and leadership tenure, particularly as the ruling party convenes its National People's Conference this week. The conference, which began on Tuesday, is expected to revisit resolutions adopted at last year's Bulawayo meeting - among them, a controversial proposal to extend Mnangagwa's leadership beyond 2028.”

The headlines did not stop the 2017 military coup just as they will not stop another military coup and/or popular uprising tomorrow or in the near future.
The number one reason for 2017 coup was the growing political instability fuelled by the economic meltdown and hardships. The economic situation has got even worse thanks to the corruption that has gone into overdrive!

For months after the elections he and his apologists, notably Change Radio maintained the lie that Chamisa had won the elections and SADC was involved in negotiating with Mnangagwa to handover power or holding fresh elections. All lies!
It turned out that Chamisa failed to deploy election agents, something basic and in his power to do, at all Polling Stations even thou he had received the funding for it. He has since admitted that over 500 Polling Stations or 4.5% of the total had no agents and hundreds more agents were deployed but never paid.
Chamisa is a liar and conman. Period!
Change Radio has produced a new video in which the narrative that Chamisa won 2023 elections, SADC know the "official results", etc., etc. and yet again there is no evidence produced to back this up. The decision to have an armed struggle to end the white colonial rule was not made with due consideration. We should have asked the rhetorical question: What kind of leaders will the armed struggle produce? Our armed struggled produce the nightmare leaders who believe they have the divine right to rule.

Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the 2023 elections and both SADC and AU elections observers condemned the election process as flawed and illegal. Mnangagwa is, per se, illegitimate.
How ironic that ED2030 agenda is seeking to extend Mnangagwa's illegitimate rule by hook and crook! But that is not surprising given this is a regime that has no regard for rule of law nor the rights or suffering of the ordinary people.

SADC leaders warned MDC leaders at the special summit in June 2013 that they should not participate in the coming elections without first implementing reforms. They paid no heed and have not only been participating in flawed elections since 2013 knowing Zanu PF was rigging, that participating will give the regime legitimacy but lied to their followers to con them to participate.
“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2023) elections. The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
What does David Coltart know! The MDC/CCC leaders “did they best, win some and fail some!” says the wise one! I am speechless!
No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state - no nation can afford to have so many men and women wiser than the legendary King Solomon.

ReplyDeleteIf elections in Cameroon are conducted on the same lines as in Zimbabwe; the election process if flawed and illegal. The opposition lie to their brain dead supporters to participate to give the ruling party legitimacy. The opposition do not even bother to deploy election agents at all polling stations even thou they have the funds for it. They pocket the money.
It is laughable that anyone would believe the idiotic lie the opposition will win rigged elections after 45 years of Zanu PF rigging elections. 2 million Zimbabweans believed the lie. Worse still many of them still refuse to admit Chamisa is a liar and conman even now with the benefit of hindsight!
Corruption has become so rampant and the looters are now so powerful they have all sections of society in their deep pockets. It is hard to see where change came come from. Added to this we have some of the most ignorant, naive and gullible electorate on earth. They believe anything; they are easily conned. Combine the two and one can see why nations like Zimbabwe are doomed!
