Chamisa left politics, why has "capable" leaders failed to fill the void and deliver change? W Mukori

“What is important now is that Chamisa is not a leader of any political party now. He has left a gap for those capable to fill the gap. Since the day he left being the leader of any political party to this day, l am not seeing anyone who seems to be interested in filling that void and doing things differently.

Out of more that 15 million people in the country, why is that no one is coming out and show how best he/she can be in doing things differently from how Chamisa was doing.

Vese vanozviti vano gona chaizvo vano ngoti dai Chamisa akaita this and that they are not even coming out and take the lead in doing what they wanted Chamisa to do. Muri kutyei?”

Let us agree on two simple realities:

  1. 1) that Chamisa has proven to be corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless

  1. 2) that the evidence that Chamisa is corrupt, incompetent, a liar and a conman was there all along, certain before the 2023 elections, and yet he managed to con 2 million to believe his idiotic lie that he plugged the vote rigging loop hole. #Godisinit! and they they participated in flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

You seem to put a great deal of emphasis on meaningful political change on Chamisa leaving the political stage. “He has left a gap for those capable to fill the gap,” you argue.

Yes, I agree replacing Chamisa with a competent leader would help but will not guarantee any meaningful political change because as long as we still have 2 million plus brain dead voters who are easily conned to do foolish things we are not out of the woods!

Like it or not, universal suffrage has been a curse for Zimbabwe more so now we have a well established political system in which both the ruling party and opposition are doing everything in their power to keep the people ignorant, naive and gullible. Both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders’ political careers depend on ignorant and easily conned voters.

Democracy - government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people - is only possible if the said people are diligent in their sacred duty of holding those in public office to account. For that, the said people must be educated, knowledgeable and objective. An ignorant, naive and gullible electorate given to holding leaders as demigods because of their personality cult mentality; are the very antithesis diligent electorate demanded by democracy.

The stepping aside from politics of the corrupt, incompetent, a liar and conman Nelson Chamisa alone is not near enough to guarantee a healthy and and functioning democratic Zimbabwe!

The very fact that he has easily conned millions of Zimbabweans to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy again and again speaks volumes of the Zimbabwe electorate as ignorant, naive and gullible lot. If they are so easily conned by Chamisa his stepping aside means nothing since another conman will easily fill the void.

Democracy demands that the people must be educated, knowledgeable and object if they are to carry out their sacred duty of holding leaders to account. Zimbabwean voters remain an ignorant and gullible lot!

Senator JZ Timba and his MDC/CCC fiends have not only sold out on implementing reforms but have conned the nation to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation's suffering. Even after both SADC and AU condemned 2023 elections as flawed he and his CCC fiends took up their gravy train seats to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

Now Timba pretends he is fighting corruption and is defending the constitution. What a hypocrite! He is nothing but the boastful dog claiming he can put out the forest fire with his puny dog-water!

Why Zimbabweans continued to be easily conned by the likes of Timba and Chamisa is a mystery! No wonder we are a failed state.

It is no secrete that Zanu PF is in power thanks to the Chinese, of all the foreign nations China has done the most to help the party rig elections and stay in power. The Chinese nationals know this and has made them arrogant. Stories of Chinese abusing black Zimbabweans have become the norm.

A recent story of a Chinese miner shooting a black in the back for demanding his pay and paying US$6 500 compensation is a mockery to justice, the victim and every thinking Zimbabwean out there!

“Later, Mnangagwa struck back — not directly at Chiwenga, but at his civilian ally: Obert Mpofu, the then Secretary-General of ZANU-PF.

Mpofu’s “crime” was twofold. First, he had refused to issue the official letter ratifying Tagwirei’s co-option into the Central Committee — a duty that fell squarely within his office. Second, intelligence reports reaching the President alleged that Mpofu had either authored or had knowledge of the damning dossier Chiwenga presented in the Politburo, detailing corruption and criminality within the President’s business network.

The dossier, insiders say, named Tagwirei, Wicknell Chivayo, Paul Tungwarara, Scott Sakupwanya, and Delish Nguwaya, among others — the financial and propaganda backbone of the so-called Zvigananda Cartel.

Mnangagwa read the writing on the wall. Before the dossier could gain traction, Mpofu was removed — an act meant to decapitate Chiwenga’s bureaucratic foothold within the party.

In doing so, Mnangagwa hoped to reassert total control over party administration. But instead, he confirmed what many already suspected — that ZANU-PF was now split between two governments: one run by the politician, and one by the soldier who made him President.

The Dossier That Shook the Politburo:

When Chiwenga finally walked into the Politburo two weeks ago, he wasn’t carrying rhetoric — he was carrying evidence - irrefutable. The only thing questioned was its authorship - not its merit, which remains indisputable.

Multiple sources confirm he presented a classified dossier detailing vast financial crimes and state capture operations by individuals orbiting the President. He demanded the immediate arrest of several figures — including Tagwirei and Chivayo — and warned that the party risked total delegitimisation if it continued protecting known looters.

The atmosphere was electric, the tension palpable. Mnangagwa reportedly dismissed the document as “politically motivated.” But the damage was done. For the first time since the 2017 coup, Chiwenga had abandoned his quiet tactical patience.

He was no longer manoeuvring through proxies. He was confronting the President directly — dossier in hand.”

The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that all this factional war in Zanu PF is proof of the nation’s failure to govern herself and this has left the nation in economic ruin, political paralysis and left millions our our people living in abject poverty.

Worst of all, whatever the outcome of the present dog eat dog fight in Zanu PF it is not likely to bring an end to the political madness afflicting the nation. There is nothing to suggest any one of the key players realise the sheer futility of the present situation much less what to do to end it.

“Imagine all these internal party shenanigans then imagine them combining forces to protect the party at governing level - no simpletons will stand a chance.”

So you view the endless and utterly pointless squabbling in the party and the chaotic state of the nation’s affairs as proof of Zanu PF’s prowess? Would say it proves Zanu PF is a party of buffoons. The fact that the buffoons have outwitted MDC/CCC leaders to the point of turning them into Zanu PF team B in all but name - playing for team A to win and have legitimacy - proves that in MDC/CCC leaders we have brain dead individuals with the IQ of garden slugs.

The fact that 2 million plus were in turn conned by a garden slug to the point many consider the slimy creature a demigod explains why Zimbabwe is a failed state. Of course, we a failed state!

The con man is not the only problem here. You must also answer why 2 million plus were so easily conned?

Zimbabwe is a failed state precisely because both Zanu PF and their political side-kick MDC/CCC have connived to rig elections denying the people a meaningful say in the governance of the country.

Professor Jonathan Moyo is proposing to the Zanu PF leaders that the nation should postpone 2028 elections to 2035 to "end the scourge of disputed elections".This is a load of bulls**t! Zanu PF will never reform itself out of office nor will the MDC/CCC leaders stop being corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless.

It is bad enough Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders have usurped the people's right to free, fair and credible elections; the proposal seeks to take the right away altogether. How does taking away the right, the only right, of the already weakened populous make them strong? The people of Zimbabwe must reject this proposal as their final stand in defence of their right and human dignity!

Zimbabwe is a failed state and the root cause is the failure to hold free, fair and credible elections. 45 years after independence. in this day and age, and we are still failing to hold free and fair elections because millions out there do not any idea what constitutes free and fair elections. Amazing!

ZANU PF IS SPENDING A STAGGERING US$4 MILLION ON THE FOUR DAY PARTY CONFERENCE ON THE FOOD AND LODGING ALONE. THERE WILL BE FLEET OF NEW US$65 000 TOYOTA FORTUNER, ALL 300 ZANU PF CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS ALONE GOT NEW FORTUNER TWO WEEKS AGO!. AND ALL THIS FROM THE WHOLESALE LOOTING OF THE NATION'S WEALTH WHILST MILLIONS OF ORDINARY ZIMBABWEANS LIVE IN ABJECT POVERTY.

THE ZANU PF RULING ELITE AND THE CRONIES HAVE GROWN FILTHY AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MASSES. THE REGIME HAS DELIBERATELY KEPT THE MASSES ECONOMICAL POOR AND POLITICAL POWERLESS. THIS FAILED POLITICAL SYSTEM MUST BE CHANGED!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUILD ON TRUTH LET’S START WITH YOUR 2023 LIE ABOUT PLUGGING ALL VOTE RIGGING LOOP HOLES TO CON THE NATION INTO PARTICIPATING IN FLAWED ELECTIONS. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU HAVE LIED AND CONNED THE NATION. THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION IS ARE YOU GOING TO LIE AND CON THE NATION TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2028 ELECTIONS?

  11. How is it possible that we have been so thoroughly brain washed we are now incapable of thinking for ourselves. Mnangagwa is failing to buy medicine for our hospitals and blaming it on sanctions and yet he has the money to buy cars for himself and his cronies. We have failed to see the contradiction and so continue to blame sanctions for our suffering! Fcuk me!

  12. In Zimbabwe chaos rules the roost. We even claim to be a democracy although we have never ever held free and fair elections. If I have to pick then we have the worst of the bottom five types! Zimbabwe is the text book case failed state!

"Until we change Zimbabwe's rotten political culture, nothing will change," said the late Dr Morgan Tsvangirai. He was right. Of course, he was right! The million dollar question is WHY DID HE FAIL TO IMPLEMENT EVEN ONE TOKEN REFORM TO END THE ROTTEN POLITICAL CULTURE DURING THE 2008 TO 2013 GNU WHEN YOU HAD THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO?

"Nothing can be done without the Army!" he argued. Bulls***t!

Mugabe bribed Tsvangirai and his MDC friends with the trappings of high office and they, in turn, forgot about implementing reforms. MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent - nothing to do with the Army!

"Join us Friday 17 October to demand better governance. Soldiers will not shoot anyone!" Blessed Bombshell Geza assured the nation.

Even if the soldiers will shoot to kill, as usual, after all this is a regime that has even boasted of "having degrees in violence". People would risk their very lives in the fight for good governance. Over 40 000 innocent Zimbabweans have lost their lives since independence. And yet many will be loathed to join you on Friday for the simple reason that they see this as a repeat of the 2017 military coup.

People want to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and swapping one dictator for another is insane! Swapping one dictator for another will not end the Zanu PF ruling elite mentality that they have the divine right to rule. "Chinhu chedu!" as you yourself Comrade Geza has often said!

Are you going to finally tell the nation why MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform in 25 years including 5 GNU years and why you lot have been conning the nation to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Are you going to con the nation to participate in flawed 2028 elections to perpetuate the dictatorship? This is the truth the nation is dying to hear!

The spirit is willing but the intellect is weak. The Geza revolution seeks to swap one dictator for another, a repeat of the 2017. How any one can view that as progress especially after 45 years of Zanu PF rigging elections beggars belief!

You have failed to imagine how the country can end the curse of rigged elections and so convince yourself repeating the same foolishness of swapping dictators is progress!

Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, in this case expect opposition to win. After 45 years of rigged elections and you still cannot see it! You never will!
