Zimbabwe is a failed state led by buffoons and elected by the ignorant electorate. W Mukori

Today’s Zimbabwean daily newspaper reports that the country's electricity situation is worsening.

Zimbabwe doesn’t just have load shedding, it is experiencing blackouts.

Load shedding refers to a few hours without electricity, whereas blackouts involve long hours without power.

In 1979, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) generated 1,800 megawatts (MW) of electricity.

Today as you are reading this, the whole of Zimbabwe is generating 1,693 megawatts of electricity.

The primary sources for Rhodesia were the Kariba South hydroelectric power station and the thermal power stations, including the Hwange Power Station, which was still under construction but generating around 280 MW at the time.

Zimbabwe is a failed state and it is shocking that most Zimbabwe have yet to figure out why much less what to do about it. We not only have buffoons for leaders, we also have an ignorant, naive and gullible electorate. Last year 2 million Zimbabweans participated in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their own suffering. Chamisa conned them with the idiotic promise that he had plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. How dumb and stupid is that!

Signs are, Chamisa will once again con the voters to participate in flawed 2028 to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their own suffering. There is no chance of stopping the brain dead herd participating, you cannot reason with them. Their brain has ossified into fat and it is impermeable to reason and logic and is incapable of rational thinking.

Nations get the government they deserve, we in Zimbabwe, certainly deserve these corrupt and murderous Zanu PF thugs complete with the equally corrupt and useless opposition.

  1. Mnangagwa promises, yet again, that he is not seeking a third term.

This is the man who has staged a military coup to get the top job and has rigged elections to stay in power; was he not violating the constitution then? He has his eyes on staying in power beyond 2028 and is working very hard to achieve that. If he failed, for whatever reason, he would like to have credit for it - that he committed to up holding the constitution.

Some are born holy, some achieve holiness through their good deeds and other proclaim themselves holy although there is nothing about them to prove their holiness. Indeed, some people proclaim that God is in their hare brain schemes which have again and again failed - proof they were lying!

In the past, Chamisa has conned Zimbabweans to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuate the nation's suffering out of greed. The danger of him doing this again in 2028 is real and whilst he cannot be stopped, his greed is insatiable, no stone must be left unturned to educate the populous so that they are not conned yet again to participate.

There is a new scramble for Africa and her resources. Our failure to govern ourselves have left us vulnerable to outside exploitation from slave trade, to colonial exploitation and now this. China has such a strangle hold on Zimbabwe, for one thing Zanu PF is now totally dependent on the Chinese for the regime's continued stay in power; it is no exaggeration to say Zimbabwe is a colony of China in all but name.

We can end the Zanu PF dictatorship if we can stop the Chamisa Chete Chete brigade being conned into participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. It is easier said than done given the brigade's personality cult mentality! Still, we cannot afford giving Zanu PF legitimacy yet again in 2028!

How naive. He took a sabbatical break when Mwonzora took over MDC A only to come back to form CCC and con millions into participating in 2023 elections with idiotic lies of plugging all vote rigging loop holes. What makes you sure he will not do the same again come 2028 elections?

Zimbabwe's 2013 constitution is a dictator's creed not even worth the paper it is written on. Mnangagwa has repeatedly rigged elections, staged military coup and has even committed mass murder in pursuance of absolute power. Brushing aside the constitutional third term limit will be inconsequential to him.

Besides, we should focus on ensuring that Zanu PF does not rig 2028 elections and get away with it. It matters not how strait is the gate. It matters not to a mouse be it cobra or black mamba, to povo be Mnangagwa or some other thug, for either is just as deadly.

It would calamitous disaster should Zanu PF, led by Mnangagwa or some other thug, rig 2028 elections and get away with it! We cannot stop the rigging but can deny the regime legitimacy by stopping Chamisa Chete Chete brigade participating in their millions as happened last year.

“Wilbert why do you use fowl language like ignorant fools. I think that's not nice especially when you make references to your contemporaries. Just an observation and comment.”

If some one believes Mnangagwa’s claim that he is a constitutionalist when the tyrant has rigged elections and even stage a military coup. Or believe Chamisa’s idiotic nonsense of plugging all vote rigging loop hole. Of course, anyone who is so easily conned into believing such foolish notions is a fool. What is so foul about calling a fool a fool? Stop making a mountain out of a mole hill!

“I personally see the long term effects of the ‘God is in it ‘ claim as counterproductive. May bring in immediate votes from believers but numbers will surely dwindle in its 2nd round of use

It brings God’s name into disrepute after failure to meet expectations

It promotes complacency and dependence on manifestation of miracles

People believing in the message in its entirety may lose faith in leader and God

Accountability is shifted from leader to God and the leader may easily get away with ‘Will happen in Gods time’.”

In 2018 Chamisa promise that MDC A would win the elections because MDC “had stringent measures to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections!” Of course, he knew that he was lying and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. He conned his followers to participate regardless because he also knew that Zanu PF was offering a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate.

It was clear that Chamisa was lying but only to those with the common sense to see reason. When after Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections the herd still failed to see the truth. Last year Chamisa repeated the same shit and 2 million voted for him and 3 to 4 million in the diaspora cheered and even bankrolled the participation.

5 to 10% of the herd, at most, would have had their eyes opened so the finally see the sheer folly of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. The rest of the herd will believe whatever shit Chamisa tell them. Mnangagwa will know to increase the gravy train benefits to entice the opposition to participate no matter how flawed the process get!

There is nothing to suggest that number of voters conned to participate in flawed elections in 2028 “will dwindle”. You are just hoping that the herd will listen to reason and forgetting the herd’s personality cult mentality. Keep it real!

Opening the eyes and minds of the millions of brain dead is a tough job demanding grafting and not wishful thinking.

  8. Instead of concentrating our time, energy and resources of our institutions and infrastructure so we can uplift ourselves and our society we waste it all on:

    1) on how to become rich and powerful without working for it hence the reason why corruption is rampant and merit counts for nothing

    2) as a people blacks have lagged behind for long that many of them have given up ever catching up with the developed nations. So when the nations like Zimbabwe started to experience economic decline soon after independence both the leaders and populous were not surprise, they were expected to fail and it would have been a big surprise if they had done otherwise. When MDC/CCC leaders failed to implement even one token reform in 24 years including 5 in the GNU; many people are surprise that there are people who actually expected them to do otherwise than sell out.

    3) Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF thugs know they have been a total failure but instead of accepting their shortcoming and let others have a go they are determined to hang on and or burn down as much as they can. The worst thing they would to see happen is see some one else succeed where they have failed. Where we should cooperate for the good of society we would rather fight to bring those around us down ever if we too suffer for it.

    4) like it or not the overwhelming majority of blacks are either the idiots or the tribesmen with only a tiny minority with the intellect of the citizens in the ancient Greeks’ classification. A healthy and functioning democracy is only possible in a society were the citizens have the final say, in Zimbabwe the idiots and tribesmen rule the roost!

“ED brazenly declared incomplete and ill-documented results without an auditable trail - this was evidence that his rigging system had been bugged and was unable to produce desired predetermined results. What happened after is tantamount to use of force and the failure to stop the use of force cannot be attributed to NC incompetence.”

In short, you have reverted to your default position that MDC/CCC leaders have never sold out of implementing reforms nor participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. If you can justify participating in 2013, 2018 and 2023, it is clear you WILL justify participating in 2028!

Just getting some people to accept that principle that all those holding public office are accountable to the people is a bridge too far for some people, especially those 2 million who believed Chamisa’s idiotic lie that he had plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. The personally cult mentality has rendered the ossified brain impermeable to reason and logic.

Although both SADC and AU election observers condemned last year’s Zimbabwe elections as flawed and illegal, neither of them took the obvious step of denying Zanu PF political legitimacy. They could not ignore the political reality that nearly 2 million voted for Chamisa and 3 to 4 million cheered the process and bankrolled CCC’s political activities.

Nelson Chamisa took a political sabbatical when he lost MDC A to Mwonzora and others. Two years before the 2023 elections he launched CCC and conned his brain dead supporters to participate in the flawed elections on the basis of idiotic lies.

He has taken yet another political sabbatical after losing CCC in January 2024 to Tshabangu and company. It is almost certain he will stage yet another political come-back and con the brain-dead followers to once again participate in the 2028 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

Meanwhile the brain-dead followers are out to defend Chamisa. All those asking Chamisa to account for his failure to implement reforms, for conning people to participate in flawed elections are considered public enemies and subjected to all manner of abuse!

Like it or not the overwhelming majority of Zimbabweans out there are either the idiots or the tribesmen with only a tiny minority counted as the citizens in the ancient Greeks’ classification. A healthy and functioning democracy is only possible in a society were the citizens have the final say, in Zimbabwe the idiots and tribesmen rule the roost!

And as far as the idiots and tribesmen are concerned Nelson Chamisa is a demigod who must never ever be hold to democratic account. Never ever! With such an idiotic electorate Zanu PF is fairly confident they will rig 2028 elections and get away with it yet again.

“Siyananai naChamisa vakuru vangu hondo iripakurwisa Zanu unless murimurakashi.”

You do not want Chamisa to be held to democratic account: is it because you think he has done nothing wrong or you think him a demigod who is above the law?

Poor, poor Zimbabwe! We are a failed state precisely because for 44 years and counting we failed to hold Zanu PF to account because the regimes leaders and their brain-dead followers believed the leaders were above the law. When thought this madness was finally coming to an end with the demise of the dictatorship we find ourselves face to face with the same idiotic nonsense that leaders are demigods or be it instead of Mnangagwa the new demigod is now Chamisa.

44 years after independence, in this the 21st century, and we still have people who still believe mere mortals like Chamisa and Mnangagwa are demigods and therefore above the law! This is like sending some one to school for ten years only to discover they have not even mastered the alphabet.

No wonder we are a failed state, we have some village idiots amongst us and they have the vote. It is no surprise therefore that we have sell outs and buffoons for leaders given we have village idiots for electorate. Leaders come from the people, if there are no quality voters there will be no quality leaders just as cream comes from wholesome milk and scum from sewage!

So I am a Zanu PF murakashi because I dared to up hold the democratic tenet that all those in public office, be it as the ruling party or opposition, must be accountable to the people. Frankly, I am disappointed that there are still many people like you who are so shallow, thick and slow!

“We will continue voting for Nelson Chamisa and that is a fact. We can not vote for Zanu pf because it does not care for the welfare of Zimbabweans.”

You still do not get it, do you!!!

Zimbabweans have risked all to voted for MDC/CCC leaders these last 24 years on the understanding that they will bring about the democratic changes to end the Zanu PF dictatorship. They had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. They failed to implement even one token reform because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office.

Ever since the GNU debacle MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections and conned their followers to do the same to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.

Whether you know it or not the truth is MDC/CCC leaders have sold out on implementing reforms to end the Zanu PF dictatorship. Chamisa and company have been running with the povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds ever since the 2008 GNU. They have failed to implement even one token reform in in 24 years, including 5 in the GNU, for Pete’s sake! “Forget about opposition. What are those in power doing for the welfare of the people of Zimbabwe considering the dilapidated hospitals, the road death traps and sky rocketing corruption to mention only a few?”

So Zimbabweans have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power for the primary purpose they would implement the necessary democratic reforms to end the Zanu PF dictatorship. After 24 years, including 5 in the GNU, Chamisa and company have not only sold out on implementing reforms but are conning people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship and the people’s suffering. You response is to continue supporting the opposition under the pretext that Zanu PF is to blame for all the country’s problems.

Of course, it is stupid because blaming Zanu PF is NOT going to get the nation out of the mess! You have no clue what you are wittering about!

We have known all along that as long as Zanu PF remains in power the country will continue to sink deeper and deeper into the abyss. People have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders to implement reforms and thus end the Zanu PF. After 24 years, including 5 in the GNU, with not even one token reform in place it is clear Chamisa and company have failed and we need to find new opposition leaders who will get the job done.

Only a nincompoop like you would be talking of “forget the opposition!” especially when the current opposition and not only doing nothing to end Zanu PF rule but are keeping the regime in power! How any one can be so shallow, thick and slow is the mystery. Man is supposed to be a creature of reason but when one is this shallow, thick and slow, are they still human or some thing else?

First and foremost an electorate shrewd enough to finally, finally, realise that the country is in this mess precisely because we have corrupt and incompetent leaders. Second, have the common sense to stop participating is flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Last but not least, elect some quality leaders for a change!

No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state, we really have some brain dead nincompoops and, to crown it all, they have the vote and, in their folly, have elected buffoons and useless upstarts as the nation’s leaders. You cannot get quality leaders from a pool of ignorant and gullible voters no more than one can get quality fish from a sewage pond!

You, Chief Ndiweni, are scum and nincompoops like you should have never been given the vote. Doing so is as irresponsible as giving a loaded gun to a monkey. The number one task is to stop you participating in the flawed 2028 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy - you have no clue what the consequences of participating are no more than the monkey of firing the gun.

    “@CHIEF.
Please don't waste your energy & time on these failed Zanu Chitepo idiotic students 😂😂😂
    Zimbabweans know who they want!”

This is just typical village idiot mentality, if anyone speaks ill of Chamisa he/she must be a Zanu PF supporter and vice versa if they speak ill of Mnangagwa. The late Edison Zvobgo called it the Mozambiques syndrome.

"Whenever they lost an argument when we were in Mozambique, they would accuse you of being CIA to avoid the substantive issues," he explained.

“Today they call you an American puppet to avoid responsibility!”

So stupid habits never die and so our Chamisa Chete Chete brigade are trying to stifle debate on the substantive issue of holding Chamisa to democratic account accusing all those who are daring to hold him to account of being Zanu PF supporters even when that does not make an sense.

Since when has Zanu PF ever advocated for the implementation of reforms so we have free, fair and credible elections?
