"Will CCC partake in shoddy 2023 without verified voters' roll?" Cut out the bull, yes Chamisa answered! W Mukori

Nelson Chamisa was finally cornered and nailed down on why CCC is participating in these elections without even something as basic as a verified voters’ roll!

Quizzed on the course of action the opposition intends to take should ZEC continue to hold on to the voter’s roll as has been witnessed lately, Chamisa said: “ZEC is a servant institution of the citizens. It is a citizens’ institution. It is a national and a citizens’ institution. Citizens are the ultimate authority and authors of the Republic. They are the owners of the Republic,” reported New Zimbabwe.

“Power resides in the citizens. Legislative, judicial, and even executive. All power is vested in the citizens. So legitimately citizens are demanding that all national processes be done in a particular way. There is no debate about that. That is non-negotiable”.

Further challenged to divulge details on whether CCC will partake in “shoddy elections” conducted without a voter’s roll, the CCC leader said there is no room for ZEC to lower the standard.

“ZEC has no option but to adhere to acceptable national and global standards for free and fair elections. These elections are national so there is no room for any variation or lowering of the standard. It’s not up for debate. It is the citizens who ultimately determine the quality, calibre, standard and nature of the election,” he added.

There is room for CCC to lower the standards by participating in the elections knowing fully well they are flawed and that participating will give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy. MDC/CCC has been participating in these shoddy elections out of greed.

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious – withdraw from the (2013) elections,” confessed Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

“The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility.”

Indeed, the participating in these flawed elections, “so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw” should not come as a surprise to anyone who had been following Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends’ political performance. The MDC leaders had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms which would have freed ZEC and other state institutions to carry out their democratic duties of delivering free, fair and credible elections. They failed to implement even one meaningful reform in five years. Not one!

SADC, the regional body that had forced Robert Mugabe to sign the 2008 Global Political Agreement, agreeing to the need to implement the raft of democratic reforms, wanted the 2013 elections postponed to allow reforms to be implemented, a point Coltart was referred to in the above quotation.

“If you go into the elections next month, you will lose. The elections are done!” SADC leaders had warned Tsvangirai and his MDC friends to their faces.

It was a chance for the MDC leaders to redeem themselves for the having failed to implement the reforms during the GNU. They did not heed the warning for the same reason they had failed to implement the reforms during the GNU – greed.

Ever since the GNU debacle, Zanu PF has ignored demands to implement reforms to ensure elections are free and fair elections confident MDC/CCC will participate in the elections to give the process credibility and legitimacy, just as Coltart stated above. Why indeed, would Zanu PF risk losing power by implementing even a token reform when the party is assured of the opposition’s participation NO MATTER HOW FLAWED THE PROCESS GOT!

Chamisa and company are participating in these 2023 elections WITHOUT a verified voters' roll; they have participated in the past with no verified voters' roll out of greed, they are still as greed as ever and therefore they will participate this year guaranteed!

Zimbabwe is in deep, deep trouble; we are failed state. Betrayed by the Mafiosi Zanu PF thugs who are rigging these 2023 elections, betrayed by the sell-outs CCC who are participating in these flawed elections out of greed and betrayed by SADC leaders who are endorsing the rigged elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of callous indifference!

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. The insanity of participating in flawed elections for 43 years and expecting a different result is what is occupying my mind right now. I have to deal with VIs keen to silence me and see the vote rigging continue.
If I have to repeat the warning of the folly of participating in flawed elections 100 000 time a day to get through to the VIs, then I will repeat it 100 000 x 100 000 times! Of course, I knew there are some first-class VIs like you Chris that is why I said I have a sludge hammer to drive the message home.
You and many other VIs will participate in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. What you will not say is that you did not know it was a foolish thing to do.

  2. It took 20 years for most Zimbabweans to finally admit that Zanu PF leaders were corrupt, incompetent and, worst of all, murderous tyrants. Most people don't know the primary purpose of the 2008 to 2013 GNU was to implement reforms and so they don't know MDC leaders sold out big time. Worse still that MDC/CCC are selling out in participating in the flawed elections.

In our ignorance in participating in these flawed we are giving Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship and our own suffering. Talk of shooting ourselves in the foot!

“Naturally, it’s the best for the majority poor people in any setup. It has results and doesn’t take the ordinary people through the useless political tassels by the elite. It also produces a stable and results oriented government. Plenty evidence to this fact.”
China’s economy only started to pick up in the last 30 years. Before that many Chinese lived in abject poverty. The economic success is not guaranteed in the future because if the next leader is corrupt and incompetent the nation will be stuck with him/her for decades.
Democratic nations have elected corrupt and incompetent leaders such as Trump but after 4 years the Americans booted him out. Look at Zimbabwe, we have failed to hold free elections and have been stuck with Mugabe for 37 years only to replace him with another buffoon!

“Suspected Zanu PF mafia threatens Masvingo MURRA Director with death alleging that he supports CCC
As Mr Muguti goes into hiding”
The story confirm something we knew already that the threat of violence from Zanu PF thugs is real and if they are threatening those in urban centres how much worse in rural back waters. Zanu PF will frogmarch rural voters to vote for the party.
Of course, one’s vote is not a secret, not in Zimbabwe. The regime has increased the number of polling stations from 2 000 in 2008 to 9 000 and over 11 000 in 2013 and 2018 respectively and replace the constituency voters’ roll will a polling station voters’ roll. The party will know how everyone voted giving the voters’ roll and the results!
For all the CCC posturing, the party has done nothing to stop the violence or any of the many vote rigging tactics at Zanu PF’s disposal. Chamisa and company know that Zanu PF is rigging these elections, know that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy and still they soldier on because of greed. They know Zanu PF is offering a few gravy train seats as bait and these they find irresistible.
Zimbabwe’s fight to end the Zanu PF dictatorship has stalled all because MDC/CCC leaders have sold out for 30 pieces of silver! MDC/CCC have wasted their chance to implement the democratic reforms and have since settled for a share of the spoils of power.
Chamisa and company are selling the people the dummy, the party can win rigged elections, and alas there are many Zimbabweans out there foolish enough to buy it! After 43 years of rigged elections, there are some people insane enough to believe CCC can win Zanu PF rigged elections!

MDC/CCC had the golden opportunity to implement the reforms during the GNU they failed to implement even one reform. What stopped them then, when the task was easy! What hope is there of stopping them participating in these flawed elections, when the task of implementing reforms is a hell-lot -tougher!
No! I know I will not stop the elections going ahead. Zanu PF is rigging these elections and knows that CCC will participate no matter what. The US$60 k for car, US$40 k for house plus the generous MP’s salary and allowances are just too irresistible for Chamisa and company.
I am here to point out that these elections are flawed and illegal and that CCC are participating out of greed. I am here to remind SADC these elections are a farce and they must stop endorsing rigged elections to punish MDC/CCC for selling out during the GNU and now. This idea of collective punishment is absurd and must stop!

“Army and Police chiefs refused completely to recognize or acknowledge Tsvangirai. Mdc always had to negotiate (unsuccessfully) for policy implementation. They (Mdc) had to agree in order to bring a bit of sanity after the 2008 chaos. Zanu PF is evil and we all know it.”
If Zanu PF stopped MDC implementing reforms then why did MDC not take this up with SADC, the regional body was the guarantor of the 2008 Global Political Agreement.
Minister Lindiwe Zulu tried to get MDC leaders to implement the reforms and was ignored. Indeed, Mugabe called her “street woman” when he heard of how she was nagging MDC leaders to implement reforms.
I accept that some people will never admit MDC leaders sold out by failing to implement even one reform in five years of the GNU. What these people forget is that their refusal to accept historic facts does not change the reality, truth and facts. Indeed, their refusal to accept facts only shows just how shallow and naïve they ARE!

“So whats the way forward if CCC boycotts do you think the other parties will boycott. As things stand its the duty of everyone to push for reforms the question is how?”
If I told you the election process is so flawed, your participating will not change the outcome but it is encourage by the rigging party because it gives legitimacy to the process and the result. Would you still participate?
Nelson Chamisa and the rest in the opposition camp are hell bent on participating because the know Zanu PF is offering a few gravy train seats. They do not care that the elections are flawed and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the suffering of ordinary people. If they care they would have implemented the democratic reforms during the GNU when they had the golden opportunity to do so.
The trouble is there are many Zimbabweans who have no clue what the GNU was about, even now with the benefit of hindsight. And so, they don’t know that MDC leaders sold out big time. Ignorance is the number one reason Zimbabwe is stuck in this mess and, until we do something about it, will never get out of the mess! Never!

“There is no need and time to analyse history. Of course history has or should have made us and everybody wiser.
    The questions to ask right NOW are;
What reforms are implementable and how? (I see it as - Reform ZEC solve all).
Now meaningful reforms can be implemented now four months before the voting! CCC are talking about this just as part of their lip service and to waste everyone’s time.
Is SADC a reliable impartial assessor?
SADC washed their hands of Zimbabwe when MDC failed to implement reforms and ignored their advice to postpone the elections until reforms were in place. Many Zimbabweans’ failure to accept these historic facts is one excuse why SADC is dismissing all Zimbabweans as losers!
Who can deny legitimacy under the circumstances of SADC already approving the system as good for holding elections?
SADC leaders can be persuaded to stop endorsing rigged elections by three points; 1) producing the evidence the elections are flawed and illegal 2) show CCC are participating out of greed just as during the GNU 3) SADC cannot continue punishing all Zimbabweans because of the sins of MDC/CCC
Will boycott be an effective tool under the circumstances?
Participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy is the most irrational thing any Zimbabwean can do. Chamisa and company are after the few gravy train seats and the ordinary person has absolutely nothing to gain from it other than perpetuating his/her suffering. How anyone can continue to justify participating beggars belief!
Are opposition prepared ready and mindful of the pitfalls ahead?
They are after the gravy train seats, if they fail to get any they are no worse off than they are now!
Do we honestly see the generals relinquishing power?
The securocrats played a major role in the 2008 wanton violence that denied MDC keys to State House and yet even they had to accept the reality of Zanu PF being denied political legitimacy and accepting the GNU. The securocrats are not as powerful and formidable as some people claim! We must stop creating problem that are not there, we have enough work solving those that are there and real!

You have read David Coltart’s confession and here it is again.

The ordinary person gets nothing other than giving Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuating his/her own suffering. I really cannot think there can even be anything more foolish than that especially after 43 years of rigged elections. When the whole nation is sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss thanks to the mind numbing stupidity of people like you!

She and her UZA colleagues do not even have the common sense to know what constitutes free, fair and credible elections. How anyone can participate in an election process that is so flawed there is no verified voters' roll, Zanu PF rigged the 2018 elections and has refused to implement even one token reform to stop a repeat, etc. But of course, Zanu PF is offering a lot of bribes for participating including POLAD for the losers!
What Zimbabwe needs are men and women who are serious about restoring the right of every Zimbabwean to a meaningful say in the governance of the country and who see this as more than just a right but the cure to the curse of bad governance.
The people risked life and limb to elect MDC/CCC leaders on the belief they would implement the democratic reforms. We as still stuck with the Zanu PF dictatorship because MDC/CCC leaders sold out by failing to implement even one reform but worse still by participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy in return for a share of the spoils of power.

Zanu ruled up to 2000 without a strong opposition and only then did we realise the need of reforms the fact that the GNU failed to bring the desired solutions does not mean we stop pushing for the reforms. To me non participation in electoral process will take us back to pre 2000. The opposition needs to re-invent its self and get a voice in the political space so what reforms can come.
The spiriting is willing but the intellect is weak! You still do not get it do you! 14. ERC noted that the Electoral Amendment Bill which seeks to implement reforms to the Electoral Act, falls short of addressing issues raised by local, regional and international election observer missions following the 2018 harmonised elections.

"Additionally, the Montlante Commission Recommendations from 2019 which included developing ICT facilities for the speedy transmission of election results, and the registration of political parties to ensure accountability of party leaders are yet to be implemented."

ERC recommended key stakeholders take seriously their mandate in delivering a free, fair, credible and "undisputed" election.
There is nothing anyone can do now, just four months before voting day, to save the day. There will be no meaningful reforms implemented the country cannot even produce a verified voters’ roll for Pete’s sake; these elections are not going to be free, fair and credible. The nation is looking to SADC, the only observer team that has consistently endorse the rigged elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy, to see it they will condone the rigged elections yet again!
IF SADC endorse the rig elections and give Zanu PF legitimacy; Zimbabwe must seriously consider its continued membership to the regional body. We cannot continue to belong to a body that has let us down so callously and repeatedly!

I totally agree with you that Zanu PF is a party of ruthless thugs and that is why when you get them on the ropes you must make the most of such golden opportunities. The one time Zanu PF was on the ropes was during the 2008 to 2013 GNU and only MDC leaders had to do was implement the democratic reforms.
The primary purpose of the GNU was to implement the democratic reforms. It is disheartening that anyone would still fail to grasp this even now with the benefit of hindsight. If you cannot understand that it is little wonder, you cannot understand that MDC leaders sold out big time. There is no point in talking about MDC/CCC selling out now, it way about your head.
It is foolish enough that Zimbabwe is being dragged into yet another meaningless election process. The world must know that there are at least some sane Zimbabweans who have the intellect not only to see the sheer stupidity of it all but the courage to denounce it from the rooftop! Zanu PF is rigging these elections, CCC are participating out of greed and many ordinary Zimbabweans are coerced whilst others, especially the urban and so-called intellectually are participating out of ignorance and stupidity. What do you think about having an NTA?
The way forward is to denounce this flawed elections and make sure no one is left in any doubt the process can never ever be called free, fair and credible. Expose CCC for selling out on reforms during the GNU and for participating flawed elections out of greed. CCC have lost political credibility and their participation should not give the process credibility and Zanu PF legitimacy. SADC must be taken to task for endorsing rigged elections and giving Zanu PF legitimacy in the past. They must not be allowed to do so again this time.
Deny Zanu PF political legitimacy will take us back to the situation we were in in 2008 when SADC refused to grant Zanu PF legitimacy. The country will need another GPA leading to a new GNU or NTA, the subtle difference will be that we must appoint competent individuals who will implement ALL the democratic reforms and totally dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship. The freedoms and rights of every Zimbabwean including the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country must be guaranteed for the next 100 years, at least!

I agree, support the coup was a very foolish move but not surprising given what Morgan Tsvangirai and company had done in the past.

Well Chapman came to his senses!
As for a new GNU both Zanu PF and CCC should know that as the political parties in government one as ruling party and the other as the opposition it was their collective responsibility to make sure fresh elections are held as per the country’s constitution. If they are now admitting that they have failed to deliver this important task then it would be presumptuous of them to not only mark their own homework as failure and reward themselves by extending their stay in office and pretend that is punishment!
It was SADC that decided on the 2008 to 2013 GNU and the regional body was the guarantor of the Global Political Agreement and Zanu PF and MDC were the GNU partners. Now we are being asked to accept Zanu PF and CCC as the partners in the new GNU, the authors of the GPA and its guarantor. What a truck load of bull!
If there is going to be a new GNU it must be UN, not SADC again, who presides over the GPA and neither Zanu PF nor CCC can be parties in the GNU. They failed to implement even one reform during the last GNU it is foolish to think they will do any better the second time round!

  23. PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday said he will proclaim election date next month, ending speculation that the polls might be postponed to allow for formation of a coalition government.
Speaking at the official opening of the refurbished Mhondoro Hospital in Mubaira, Mashonaland West province, Mnangagwa said: “I am the only one who knows the date of elections, I will be announcing that date at the end of next month.”
As much as Mnangagwa is rightly worrying about the elections being declared null and void and denying him legitimacy he knows that postponing much less cancelling the elections will not give him political legitimacy either! Indeed he is better off rigging the elections and hope that SADC will once again come to his aid and endorse the election as “substantially free and fair”.
Of course, SADC leaders have their own yoke to bear. How do you describe an election process in which there was no verified voters’ roll, 3m or 37% of the voters are denied the vote, rural voters are frogmarched to vote, billions of dollars are squandered in bribing officials, thugs and opposition, etc. as “substantially free and fair”.
Besides the economic and political mess in Zimbabwe is now spilling over into the rest of the SADC nations. 24. If the election process is so flawed and illegal you know your participation will not change the predetermined result and, worse still that participating will give the results legitimacy then surely it is more rational NOT to participate.

Your position of participating NO MATTER WHAT is a foolish one because what is the point of setting the rules for free and fair elections if there are no consequences for breaking the rules. Boycotting the elections is the ultimate censure for breaking election rules and therefore sating that you will never boycott elections is per se nonsensical.

God helps those who help themselves. Participating in flawed elections, even after 43 years of rigged elections, is as foolish as walking into a crocodile infested river and expect "God's will to suffice!" is putting God to the test. Enough of this insanity!

The President HE ED Shumba Murambwi ve Shambo chena on a victory dance. Starting with solid slogan.
Reminding every Zimbabwean that this country belongs to Zimbabweans.”
Mnangagwa is selling everything to bribe officials including traditional leaders and war veterans and opposition and to buy votes. He is selling the nation's crown jewels for a song as the Al Jazeera Gold Mafia documentary showed to raise the funds to bankroll his sadistic schemes!
Zanu PF is rigging these elections and it must be denied political legitimacy so we can finally put an end to the insanity of selling the nation for a song.
Those who hold public office must do so for the good of Rome and NOT the glory of Caesar and to make sure that is indeed the case, those in public office must be democratically accountable to the people. Zimbabwe is in this mess precisely because Zanu PF has rigged elections and denied the people the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country.
Nothing of value can ever be achieved until we restore the people’s right to a meaningful and free vote. NOTHING!

  26. Mohadi confirms the scheme to frog march rural voters!

How can we continue to pretend these elections are going to be free and fair when we know hundreds of thousands of voters are going to be frogmarched to vote for Zanu PF. Mnangagwa himself has been boasting of this frogmarching scheme!
The here is no doubt that Zanu PF is rigging these elections just as there is no doubt that CCC are participating out of greed. And to rub salt into the wound, Chamisa and company know they are participating to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.
"The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn't now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2013) elections," confessed Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

"The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility."
Zanu PF must be denied political legitimacy for blatantly rigging the elections and the participation of a totally discredited opposition is being used as a smoke screen to fool people into believing Zimbabwe is a healthy multi-party democracy! SADC must not sell-out the people of Zimbabwe by granting Zanu PF legitimacy as it has done in the past. This idiotic behaviour must end.

  27. @ Dr Mattew Nyashanu
“The Al Jazeera documentary series on gold smuggling in Zimbabwe and the subsequent reduction of the country from a respected state to a den of lions has all what it takes for President Emmerson Mnangagwa to step down. All the unethical mafia-style smuggling of the gold and laundering of the proceeds was facilitated mainly by the State apparatus being commandeered by none other than the incompetence of the president of Zimbabwe and his entire ill-informed horde of criminals.
A close analysis of the documentary series shows that Mnangagwa is clueless about running a country. The team around him who include the prophet of doom Eubert Angel ironically elaborated the non-existence of a formal government in Zimbabwe and how unregulated the exploitation of mineral resources like gold is.
You had hit the nail on the head there! Still is should be stated that Mnangagwa and Zanu PF have rigged elections these last 43 years and therefore it is not the democratic wish of the people of Zimbabwe that the country is being ruled by this gang of thugs. Zanu PF is set to rig these 2023 elections and so the looting will continue.
It must be said that the country had many chances, the best of which was during the 2008 to 2013 GNU, to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and we wasted them all. MDC/CCC sold out during the GNU and are selling out now by participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.

  28. It has taken Zanu PF 43 years before the party finally accepted that people must have title deeds. This basic right is being used to buy votes. In other words the right to a free and meaningful vote is yet to be granted! If the party loses the election these people to title deeds will be revoked!

  29. Former Vice President Kembo Mohadi has directed traditional leaders to gather their subjects to polling stations on voting day and ensure they vote for Zanu PF.
Speaking at the official opening of the refurbished Mhondoro Hospital in Mubaira, Mashonaland West province, Thursday, Mohadi said:
In our meetings with chiefs and headmen, they assured us (ZANU PF) of a victory.
In fact, on voting day, the headman will marshal his subjects and ensure they have all voted before he votes last.
This we will do so that we take stock and make sure that what we taught each other is followed.
During a meeting in Gokwe South District in August last year, Mohadi, who is ZANU PF’s second secretary, told chiefs, headmen, and village heads to actively support ZANU PF. Mohadi said at the time:
Please we are asking you our chiefs, headmen and village heads to develop your organisation (ZANU PF). ZANU PF is your party, did you know that?
Know from today that ZANU PF is your party. We want to fight this war against the West-fronted opposition.
ZANU PF liberated this country. Did you know that this party is yours? We want you to increase the number of people to vote for ZANU PF.
Did you hear we want five million votes next year? We want them to vote for ZANU PF and through you, we know we will achieve that.
We want every village head to give us people we will check according to your register … If we are organised, we will rule until the donkeys have horns.
Since Zimbabwe’s independence from colonial rule in 1980, ZANU PF has used traditional leaders as part of its campaign machinery in rural areas.
However, the Zimbabwe Constitution says traditional leaders should be apolitical. Chapter 15:2 of the Constitution states that:
traditional leaders must not be members of any political party or in any way participate in partisan politics, act in a partisan manner, further the interests of any political party or cause or violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of any person.
Zanu PF has paid big bucks to bribe chiefs, village heads and war veterans to headsmen.
The people of Zimbabwe have risked life and limb to elect MDC/CCC so that they would implement the democratic reforms and end this tyrannical abuse of the people. Sadly, after 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU, MDC/CCC have failed to implement even one token reform. Not even one!

MDC/CCC have not only sod out by failing to implement any reforms during the GNU but they have continued to sell out by participating in flawed elections out of greed. Chamisa and company have all but given up on reforms and free elections and settled for a share of the spoils of power. It is a great pity that the ordinary people have been slow to realise CCC are running with the hare and hunting with the hounds. There will be no free and fair elections until the people wake up to the reality CCC are sell outs because only then will their demand for reforms finally be heard.

  30. You are right, it may have been fake news! Still, I would not be surprise if he has finally accepted the sheer futility of participating in an election so flawed there is no verified voters' roll, Zanu PF is boasting of frogmarching rural voters, etc., etc. We can agree to differ on somethings but there are others where we must agree.

We must agree Zimbabwe will never hold free, fair and credible elections without first implementing the reforms to take away Zanu PF's carte blanche powers to rig the elections. We must also agree that CCC are participating in these elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy because they are after the few gravy train seats on offer as bait. These are well documented historic facts and not opinions.

  31. @ Brett

Well said! It is a historic fact that the Zanu PF dictatorship has survived all these 43 years thanks to the myopic individuals who bury their heads in the sand and refuse to admit the system is not working. Their mentality is that things will get better if we all work hard. They have the Boxer, in Animal Farm, mentality. Give these Zanu PF thugs an inch and the will take one foot and will be back to demand a yard!

After 43 years of all this looting it is little wonder the country is now up to her eyes in s***t! And guess what, the Boxer idiots are still breaking their backs! It is not new investors that the country needs but people who are willing to think and have the courage to end the curse of rigged elections which is the root cause of the bad governance!

  32. Instead of implement reforms to ensure free and fair elections and then compete on policies and delivery, Zanu PF and CCC are competing on frogmarching the voters and cheating!
