 “Veteran opposition politician and anti-Zanu PF hardcore, Senator Morgan Komichi has claimed that there is need for opposition movements must to unite and fight Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangwagwa's administration head-on in order to save the country from socio-pilitical and economic turmoil that Zimbabwe has been constantly facing,” reported Bulawayo 24.

“Speaking during an interview with this publication, Komichi appealed for the opposition members unite, claiming that "All MDC splinters must unite to reconstruct the Mass Democratic Struggle once more.”

"I call for National Dialogue to resolve the socio-economic and political crisis in Zimbabwe. I urge Zimbabweans to unite for peace and shared vision," Komichi said.

What is Senator Komichi wittering about? 

"All MDC splinters must unite to reconstruct the Mass Democratic Struggle once more!” If the opposition was ever a Mass Democratic Struggle, then why did it fail to implement even one token democratic reform these last 24 years including 5 years of the 2008 to 2013 GNU. For the record Senator Komichi was a senior MDC leader throughout the GNU. 

Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office; the ministerial limos, generous salary and allowances, a US$ 4 million mansion for Tsvangirai himself, etc., etc. To show their appreciation the MDC leaders forgot about implementing the reforms.

“Mazivanhu eMDC adzidzi kudya anyerere!” (MDC leaders have learned to enjoy the gravy train good-life, they will never rock the boat!) boasted Zanu PF cronies when asked why MDC leaders were not implementing the reforms during the GNU. 

Ever since the GNU debacle, MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections; knowing fully well Zanu PF was rigging and that participating would give the regime legitimacy; for the same reasons they failed to implement even one reform during the GNU - greed and incompetence. And, worst of all, they have conned their ignorant and gullible party supporters to participate in the flawed elections to perpetuate the dictatorship and the nation’s suffering. 

How anyone can be conned into believing such idiotic nonsense as Chamisa’s “I have plugged all Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” beggars belief! The upstart did not have verified voters’ roll and failed to deploy election agents at all polling stations even though he had the funding for it. 

“I urge Zimbabweans to unite for peace and shared vision!” Yeah right! The only “share vision” Komichi and company have is to con Zimbabweans into participating in the flawed 2028 elections, give Zanu PF legitimacy and that he will be one of the lucky ones to win one of the gravy train seats! 

Neither Senator Komichi nor any of his former MDC colleagues will ever implement any of the democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections and thus end this double curse of 44 years of rigged elections and bad governance. Komichi et al had many golden opportunities to implement the reforms these last 24 years including 5 in the GNU; they wasted them all. It is naive, to say the least, to believe they will do so now.

Zimbabweans must accept MDC/CCC have failed to stop Zanu PF rigging elections, the idea of winning RIGGED elections is just absurd. We must elect opposition leaders who will get the reforms implemented. 

Just because MDC/CCC failed to do so does not mean it cannot be done. The need to get the reforms implemented is more urgent now than ever; the country is in a serious economic and political mess, another rigged election in 2028 in simply unthinkable!

What is required to save Zimbabwe is that the electorate to be educated so that they are knowledgeable and not so easily conned taken advantage of by these corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless politicians, from both sides of the political divide!

 Parirenyatwa Hospital is in dire need of attention with crippling problems ranging from brain drain to obsolete equipment in the critical renal and radiotherapy units, officials have said.

The major challenge, according to the authorities, is the issue of free medication for selected exempted groups which has compounded poor service delivery.

The situation was unearthed when the Parliamentary Health Committee visited the hospital on Tuesday following a similar visit last year.

According to the acting Chief Executive Officer, Tsitsi Magure, the hospital has a shortage of 368 specialists including gynaecologists, pathologists, oncologists, and palliative care among other areas.

She said the largest referral centre’s radiotherapy machines have been down for over two years.

The hospital does not have radiology and imaging services, chemotherapy medicines, surgical anaesthetic equipment including the complimenting sundries which affects service delivery.

In few cases where the equipment is available – it is obsolete.

If the situation in one the country's referral hospital is this pathetic one can only imagine the rot and decay in which the provincial hospitals are in. As for the district hospitals and those lower down even the building have collapsed in some cases.  

Meanwhile the regime continue to be obsessed about high profile and prestige projects like the palatial new parliament in Mount Hampton completed last year. And now the regime is building grand no expense spare four lane up and four lane down motor way connecting the new parliament to Harare City Centre. 

Zimbabwe is now a highly stratified nation with the few filthy rich ruling elite steaming ahead with everything they ever wanted and more at the expense of the millions being denied freedom, human rights and the bare minimum for life. This is not right, unsustainable and we will all pay dearly for this folly.

If they write exams, they will cheat.

If they are in government they will steal.

 An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a  trash bin. 

 IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it . When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share. Infact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.

According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens . 

2. The next set of people are tribesmen , these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.

These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe. 

It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.

When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.

A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen , because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes.

They trust only their tribesmen . 

3. The last group are citizens. 

These are people that like to do things the right way. 

They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.

They drive within speed limits.

They respect the laws, won’t cheat in exams.

In government they won’t steal.

They are compassionate and give to others to promote their wellbeing. 

 Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone. 

The Greeks called this group the citizens . 

Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots . 

Others have so many idiots . 

A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation.

And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law. 

But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.

The dirty tactics used to win an argument.

 WHEN AGGRESSION IS A SIGN OF WEAKNESS:

Many Zimbabweans might not qualify for international debates because they struggle to handle opposing views maturely and with an open mind. In professional debating, it is important to argue your position respectfully without resorting to insults against the other side.

When someone lacks evidence to support their claims they turn to insults and other logical fallacies. Here are a few examples:

       AD HOMINEM FALLACY:

* This one is the most common one. It translates as "against the man," it is also known as the personal attack fallacy, or name-calling fallacy. This happens when someone criticizes the other person instead of their point of view. 

           STRAW MAN FALLACY

* A straw man fallacy is when someone takes the argument, or point of another person, twists it, or exaggerates it in an excessive manner, and then criticizes the extreme twist as though it were the original speaker's actual claim.

          BANDWAGON FALLACY:

* This is the fundamental fallacy of democracy,which is the belief that views that are popular are always correct.

        EMOTIONAL APPEALS:

* This is any attempt to influence an argument based on emotions rather than the strength of the supporting facts. This is usually demonstated through crying, or anger. In such cases we encourage you to raise your points,instead of raising your voice.

                RED HERRING:

* This usually refers to shifting the topic in the middle of a discussion so that we begin debating a peripheral subject instead of the main or actual issue.

                DOGMATISM:

* The assumption is that those who disagree with you are “biased”,or "Vakarasika" while you are “objective”.

 Just because you disagree with someone's perspective doesn't mean they are ignorant on the topic, it simply means they have a different viewpoint. All you need to do is present your own points just as they have done.

That's one reason why I turn off comments on some of my posts. It's not that I don't welcome different opinions, I do, but only if they are expressed in a respectful manner. Remember I only debate the wise and block the rest.

It is said that the communism spread like a forest fire in Russia and that part of the world in the 1900s because communists members were encouraged to join all manner of organisations. Once they are members they were instructed to be as disruptive as they could,  force many to resign and thus destroy the organisation from within. 

It is no exaggeration that Zanu PF has perfected the communist dirty tactics and has used the state institutions to enforce its will. It is tempting to resign and let Zanu PF thugs do as they damn well please but that is exactly what landed us in this hell-hole and, it must be said, will keep us there. Like it or not Zanu PF is using all the dirty tricks above and worse to be disagreeable and disruptive; we must engage the regime and fight to restore sanity and rule of law.

SADC is "seized" by Zimbabwe's disputed August 2023 elections. Yeah but to what end and purpose. W Mukori

 The Sadc election observer mission said the Zimbabwean elections failed to meet regional and international standards on holding of free, fair and credible polls.

NewsDay has established that Chamisa has since last year been writing to Sadc seeking its intervention on the electoral dispute after efforts to engage Mnangagwa over the matter hit a brick wall.

An official from Sadc confided in NewsDay yesterday that the regional body was “seized with the Zimbabwean political matter” and disclosed that Chamisa had last week written to the regional body following up on his earlier request for the regional body to facilitate resolution of the electoral dispute.

Sadc has reportedly responded to Chamisa’s request by saying that it was forwarding his case to the relevant Sadc structures for consideration, the source said.

In his follow-up letter, Chamisa told the regional body that he was under pressure from the citizens who had pinned their hopes on Sadc to resolve the political crisis facing Zimbabwe.

If this report is true, then this is typical blundering incompetence on the part of  both Chamisa and SADC.

SADC election observer mission report led by Dr Nevers Mumba of Zambia was clear enough; Zimbabwe’s August 2023 elections were flawed and illegal. The regional body accepted the report and its damning conclusion. The region body decided to do nothing about denying Zanu PF legitimacy for whatever reasons. Why they have failed to publicly state that beggars belief; especially in the face of the many circulating reports, fake or otherwise, claiming SADC was going to hold fresh elections. 

What exactly is Chamisa hoping to accomplish by pushing for SADC intervention in the 2023 elections. Yes Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections but was he not the one who insisted in the elections going ahead even though it was clear Zanu PF was rigging the elections. “I have plugged all the vote rigging loop holes!” he proclaimed. “#Godisinit!”

CCC imploded soon after the August 2023 elections and he has since abandoned the party himself claiming it was heavily infiltrated by Zanu PF. He does have a political party, has no MPs or senators. 

So he is asking SADC to declare Mnangagwa illegitimate and appoint him president to govern the country all by himself! Of all the foolish notions to come from that upstart, that takes the biscuit! 

 Of course, SADC would be totally irresponsible to even consider such an idiotic scheme. SADC leaders must dismiss this idiotic report and finally put the matter to bed, the speculation is not doing the regional body any favours!

“THE TIDE HAS TURNED, as Zimbabwe comes out of the cold into the fold of the global community in the new geopolitics; with Harare set to host the next forum of Africa-Nordic foreign ministers in 2025. Good tidings speak for themselves!”

Of course, the international community has given up on Zimbabwe. We do not even have the common sense to acknowledge our political system has failed. We have risked livelihoods, limbs and many have even died to elect opposition leaders for express purpose they would implement the democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform in 24 years including 5 in the GNU. SADC leaders set up a special summit to get the June 2013 elections postponed until reforms are implemented and we ignored the warning.

Zimbabweans have insisted in participating in flawed elections knowing fully well that doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy. 

“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

SADC and AU election observers joined the rest of the world in condemning the August 2023 elections as a farce. CCC leaders who had won the few gravy train seats offer as bait took them up insisting the election was free, fair and credible in “liberated zones”.  No wonder the world has given up on Zimbabwe and we deserve to fry!

 Speaking on his newly-launched Chamisa News Channel, Chamisa said he was not going to wait for the 2028 elections to fix the problems that are bedevilling the country.

“I know you have questions on when are we going to fix the 2023 error. We are not going to wait for 2028; we are fixing the problem right now. Let’s be united, love and help each other, together we will conquer. Our God is in it, God bless you,” Chamisa said.

The opposition leader left his party after claiming that it had been hijacked by proxies of Mnangagwa’s ruling Zanu PF party.

Chamisa also commented for the first time on the recently introduced Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) currency asking his followers their experiences after its launch this month.

“Have you started receiving the ZiGs, I wish you all the best,” he said

It is nice to be worshiped as an infallible demigod who should never ever be questioned much less held to account. It was none other than Chamisa himself who insisted on participating in the 2023 elections although it was evident Zanu PF was rigging. “CCC will win big because I have plugged all the vote rigging loop holes! God is in it!” he claimed.

Zanu PF went on to rig and win the elections and soon thereafter CCC imploded and Chamisa deserted the sinking ship. And now he is back making even more outrageous claims. “We are not going to wait for 2028; we are fixing the problem right now!”  

He has never even bothered to explain what happened in last year’s elections and his promise CCC would win big. He does not bother to admit he conned the nation into participating in 2023 elections and thus perpetuating the dictatorship. He is promising to fix the problem of the dictator “right now”. We dare not ask how?

The people of Zimbabwe must snap out of this idiotic personality cult mentality that has blinded the nation to the reality that Chamisa is not an infallible demigod but a mere mortal and a corrupt and incompetent one at that. Chamisa is not fixing the nation’s problem of rigged elections, he and his colleagues have not only failed to implement even one reform in 23 years but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. He is not fixing the vote rigging problem but compounding. 

Chamisa and his CCC friends were Zanu PF team B in all but name, they participated in 2023 elections to make sure Zanu PF team A would won and have political legitimacy. We, the people must open our eyes and minds and see the reality more so after 23 years with not even one token reform implemented.
