PRESIDENT EMPOWERS CHILDREN OF LIBERATION VETERANS 🇿🇼
President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa has commissioned trucks and tractors under an empowerment programme targeting children of Zimbabwe’s liberation war veterans.
His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, through ZANU PF Central Committee Member Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, has donated US$1 MILLION IN CASH and 10 BRAND-NEW VEHICLES to the Children of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle.IWE WOSVORA?
Zimbabwe is a failed state and one of the obvious consequence of this is the growing number of Zimbabweans living in abject poverty. A recent WB report place Zimbabwe in the top ten poorest countries with 49.2% of our people living in extreme poverty, living on US$3 or less per day.
The 49.2% drag-net has many war veterans and their children. Zanu PF ruling elite have conned the war veterans to abandon the values of the liberation war of freedom, liberty and equality for all in favour of the more short-sighted and selfish ethos that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule the country. By right of conquest! A corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and murderous Zanu PF accountable to no one is the root cause Zimbabwe is a failed state.
Mugabe, Mnangagwa and the rest of the Zanu PF ruling elite have conned the war veterans to support the Zanu PF dictatorship regardless of the mountain of evidence the regime was dragging the nation deeper and deeper into the abyss. The war veterans were assured that no matter what happened to the economy, they as war veterans, will always be taken care of as long as they continue to support Zanu PF blindly.
Hundreds of thousands of war veterans and children of war veterans are living in abject poverty. Mnangagwa has tried to woo the war veterans and the children of war veterans with bribes and so-called economic empowerment projects the maths simply do no add up!
10 cars, US$1 million cash, 3 lorries and three tractors gifted to a select few will silence children of war veterans, yes. The gifts will not economically empower them. Assuming there are 10 000 of these children in each of the 10 provinces; so each will get US$10! FM!
Mnangagwa’s presidential economic empowerment of war veterans ended with majority getting a bicycle!
Cure Zimbabwe of the double curse of rigged elections and bad governance and the country has a chance to live to its real full potential - to be the South Korea of Africa. It is a great pity that the war veterans, in their infantile stupidity, abandoned the liberation war values that would have stop the Zanu PF dictatorship died without ever taking root. Zimbabwe is a failed state precisely because they sold out and to this day many still believe the idiotic lie that that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule as they wait for the regime to finally economical empower them, lifting them out of poverty!
The only plan that has worked so far it Zanu PF ruling elite’s plan to retain absolute power at all cost! The war veterans and the children of war veterans believe they are special, they regime will save them from economic hardships. They are not special. Getting a bicycle or US$10 in 46 years is not economic empowerment!
What is Mnangagwa expecting from the war veterans and children of war veterans? They continued support of the Zanu PF goal to rule forever in the form of CAB3 and upcoming CAB4. The tragedy is that CAB3 has given Zanu PF even greater dictatorial powers and will drag the nation into even greater trouble. The war veterans and the children of war veterans are so naive and gullible they still do not see it!

The war veterans were made to believe they too will share the spoils of absolute power.
The dictatorship is the root cause of Zimbabwe's economic meltdown and many of the war veterans and their children are among the 49.2% of the population now living in extreme poverty. When the war veterans complained about their economic hardships, threatening to disrupt the passage of CAB3, Mnangagwa launched various economic empowerment projects to win back their support. All the majority will ever get is a bicycle!
On Monday it was the turn of the Children of War Veterans, there must be 100 000 at least) and they got US$1m cash, 10 new cars, 3 lorries and 3 tractors economic empowerment, with the usual song and dance. The overwhelming majority will get US$10 @! How anyone can call that ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT beggars belief!
