Blessed morning.
Need to be guided accordingly.
My question...
1.Are we fighting the Amendment Bill 3.
2.Are we fighting the 2030 Agenda.
3.Are we fighting for Electoral Reforms.
4,Are we fighting for Political reforms.
5.We must fight to remove Zanu Pf.
Need to be advised coz we can fight the Bill but 2030 remains or..
Is the Amendment Bill supposed to be tabloid in Parliament.
Lastly....
Are we fighting the constitution of Zimbabwe or we are fighting the constitution of Zanu pf.
NB...
Yes we know the judicial is captured but what best can we achieve this?
We need a petition of 5million votes no to 2030.
Can we petition a letter on vote of no confidence on Ziyambi Ziyambi .
Can Amendment Bill be amended over night or it's a process and there is a time frame.
Can the Bill go on referendum?
Need to be guided accordingly.
Thank you.”
You are right to ask all these questions; indeed you could have asked twenty or more other questions too. The point being there are all relevant or at least Zanu PF will make them all relevant if it serve its purpose. So the key question to ask in what is Zanu PF’s primary objective?
Answer: to muddy the waters, to generate chaos, confusion and panic.
Zanu PF is like a crocodile it knows that in clear waters it will never catch the fish; they can see it coming and always keep their distance. By stirring up the mud and lay still or swim stealthy with it mouth open, it will have the edge. The fish will be swimming blind and any that blunders into those open jaws is dead. Those jaw will snap shut so fast that not even a house-fly renowned for its superlative reflexes get away.
I have said that ED2030 Agenda was thrown on the national agenda soon after the 2023 election. Mnangagwa had just been sworn in as president for a five year term and is barely a few months into that term; why would he want his stay in office extended by two more years?
“To delivery the vision 2030, Zimbabwe attaining an upper middle income status, increasing its GPD per capita from US$2k at present to US$6k, by 2030.” the nation was told. Only Mnangagwa can be trusted to deliver and hence the reason why he must stay. All bulls***t, of course!
In 2023, Mnangagwa had been in office for six year already since the 2017 military coup and 43 years counting the Mugabe years since he was a senior member of the regime; and in that period Zimbabwe’s economy had declined from upper middle income US$6k plus to US$2k.
When Mnangagwa took over from Mugabe in 2017, he was cocksure he would revive the nation’s future. He promised to stamp out corruption and hold free and fair elections. “Zimbabwe is open for business!” became his rally call. The expected flood of new investors, to kick start the economy, never materialised. Investors are a shrewd lot.
They could see that Zimbabwe was still a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs. They could see that the musical chairs following the 2017 coup was just that, a music chairs, that changed nothing. Zimbabwe was still a pariah state.
Mnangagwa himself gave the doubting investors the confirmation that Zimbabwe was indeed still a pariah state. He did not implement even one token democratic reform and processed to blatantly rig the 2018 elections, making a mockery of his promise to hold free, fair and credible elections. As for corruption, it was bad during Mugabe days and it has since gone into overdrive under Mnangagwa.
Vision 2030 is a mirage it therefore nonsense that Mnangagwa should be using a mirage to justify his push to stay in power! But if you understand this is analogous to the crocodile mudding the the waters then you would know that in the make believe world of tyrants reality is whatever the tyrant say it is!
@ Chamisa
ReplyDeleteThe national tragedy was that millions believed his idiotic lies and conned them to participate in flawed 2018 elections only to give Zanu PF legitimacy. The millions still believed he did not lie to them even after Zanu PF rigged the 2018 and so he lied and conned them to participate in flawed 2023 elections. He is gearing to lie and con these brain dead followers to participate in flawed 2028 elections.
Very sad that anyone can be so shallow, thick and slow to be conned time and time again to do stupid things! That is Zimbabwe for you! Indeed the majority of Chamisa's brain dead followers have 11 years of more of formal education. Many even have University qualifications!

ReplyDeleteZimbabwe is a failed state because for 46 years and counting the nation has been stuck with a corrupt, tyrannical regime that has rigged elections to stay in power. The A1 task for this nation has been to implement the democratic reforms and end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. With millions of our people now living in abject poverty, millions more scattered all over the world as economic and/or political refugees the need to end the curse is now more urgent than ever!
The constitutional amendment No.3 will give Mnangagwa and Zanu PF additional dictatorial power and thus stopping it will not stop the regime rigging the next elections. The A1 task is to either implement the reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections or make sure that millions DO NOT participate in the flawed elections to give the regime legitimacy. It would therefore be irresponsible to abandon this A1 task for the marginal gain of stopping amendment No. 3!
THINK!
@ Cambria Farm
ReplyDelete"Having stopped the amendment number 3 then we move on to the next problem one after another as they come."
Stop Zanu PF rigging the next elections then there will be no dictatorship and no dictator! Zanu PF thugs would happily accept the amendment No. 3 being stopped as long as the party retains the power to rig the next elections. They know it is utterly pointless having additional dictatorial powers if the dictatorship is going to be dismantled.
THINK!
@ Cambria Farm
ReplyDelete"This is now water under the bridge.
We learn from our mistakes for us to confront unforeseen circumstances."
So what have you learned these last 46 years if Zanu PF continues to blatantly rig elections and will rig the next election whilst you waste time stopping amendment No. 3?
Amendment No. 3 is a decoy to draw attention away from the more important business that with no reforms implemented Zanu PF will once again rig the next election to perpetuate the dictatorship.
Dictators cannot survive without the dictatorship - this is not rocket science for Pete's sake! Alas! It may well be rocket science to some people!
When you have millions who not only believed Chamisa's idiotic lie of plugging all vote rigging loop holes but continue to refuse to accept that Chamisa is a liar even now with the benefit of hindsight, for example. You know why Zimbabwe is a failed state and why the nation is stuck!
Democracy demands that the people must be educated, knowledgeable, objective and diligent in carrying out their sacred duty of holding leaders to account. When millions of the same people are so ignorant, naive and gullible they consider a corrupt, incompetent liar like Chamisa to be a demigod, you know this is a cursed nation!
@ Kang
ReplyDeleteDo you know what the democratic reforms are?
One does not waste time explaining the complexities to Euclidean geometry, for example, to someone they can see does not understand simple arithmetic. You do not know what the reforms are and yet ask how they are implemented!
@ Kang
ReplyDeleteHave we ever had an independent ZEC, etc.?
Zanu PF has rigged elections in the past because there are dictatorial powers already to allow it to do so. So with or without amendment No.3 Zanu PF will still be able to rig the next elections!
The A1 task before this nation is to either stop Zanu PF rigging elections or make sure the regime does not rig and get away with it. Stopping amendment No.3 will neither stop Zanu PF rigging nor stop the regime getting away with another rigged elections. The nation must therefore focus on the A1 task and cut out the noise from those after the decoy!
@ Kang
ReplyDeleteYes if amendment No.3 sails through the 2028 elections will be postponed to 2030 and the people will only vote for the parliamentary candidates. Will those elections be free, fair and credible or can Zanu PF rig the elections?

ReplyDeleteMnangagwa's power is founded on ignorance, fear and blind loyalty and like all tyrants he has to constantly remind the people of his brutality for fear to work. There is a video of Mnangagwa threatening to crush, "tinokuveza", any one who disturbs the country's peace.
Nonsense. This is just the knee jerk reaction to the realisation the regime's iron grip on power is slipping.
What Mnangagwa, like all tyrants, has refused to accept is that man is a creature of reason and during those odd moments when the fog of ignorance and fear lifts people ask questions. What crime did the 20 000 Gukurahundi massacre victims commit? The 2008 Operation Mavhotera Papi punished people for daring to reject the Zanu PF dictatorship!
Mnangagwa is learning that he can fool some people all the time but cannot fool all the people all the time!
https://x.com/WMukori/status/2028566219272667223
ReplyDeleteMnangagwa imposed Constitutional Amendment No.3 on the national agenda to draw all fire from the more critical issue of the failure to hold free, fair and credible elections. The regime has already carried out a number of acts of wanton violence against opposition activists opposed to the amendment whilst Zanu PF has been a hive of activity over the same issue. This is standard Zanu PF modus operandi to promote the amendment as the number one burning issue in the country.
Remember the njambanja farm invasion of 2000 to 2018, the volume of the invasion was turned up with the gratuitous wanton violence against the white farmers and their workers. The regime carried out its blatant and violent vote rigging in the shadow of the njambanja invasion. It is using amendment No.3 for the same purpose, smoke screen behind which to hide the failure to implement and reforms and thus the certainty of yet another blatant vote ring coming up.
The likes of Tendai Biti, other MDC/CCC leaders and many in the opposition camp are taking up the fight to stop amendment No. 3 out of opportunism, they want to ingratiate themselves to povo. They know the real fight for change is over implementing reforms to ensure free and fair elections. A fight many of them have sold out on already!
GOOD NEWS FOR ZIMBABWEANS: Ramaphosa’s Ally Emmerson Mnangagwa Faces Explosive International Warning Over Alleged Constitution Amendment Plans — Strong Message Circulates That Any Attempt to Extend His Presidential Term Could Trigger Global Action, With President of the United States Donald Trump Ready to Act Against Leaders Accused of Clinging to Power
ReplyDeletePolitical tension is rising across Southern Africa amid reports that Emmerson Mnangagwa has allegedly been strongly warned not to tamper with Zimbabwe’s Constitution in order to extend his time in office.
The issue has drawn regional attention, particularly because of Mnangagwa’s close political relationship with Cyril Ramaphosa, placing South Africa indirectly in the spotlight as the situation unfolds.
Sources within political circles claim that a firm and unmistakable message has been delivered:
If constitutional term limits are altered for political survival, the international response could be swift and unforgiving.
Interesting! The irony is the extension of term is nothing compared to Zanu PF rigging the election to perpetuate the dictatorship.
Indeed, pushing through the amendment will be of no lasting effect if Zanu PF lost the next elections. Losing the elections is tantamount to dismantling the Zanu PF dictatorship. With no dictatorship there can be no dictator!

How naive!
The MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform in the 26 years including 5 GNU years. Worse still, since the GNU debacle they have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy to perpetuate the dictatorship. These are well documented historic facts!
How any one can still think that MDC/CCC are still fighting in povo’s corner, speaks volumes of just how shallow, thick and slow some people are! Fcuk me! No wonder we are a failed state and, at this rate, have no hope of ending this nightmare.
“Opposition batsiranai!” S***t!

ReplyDeleteMillions of Zimbabweans are living in abject poverty and millions more have been forced to leave the country as economic and/or political refugees whilst a few ruling elite and the cronies live in unparalleled and unearned luxury.
True, the nation did not have the fortune of having visionary leaders like the late Nelson Mandela of South Africa. Still, after 46 years of independence we should have figured out by now that our political system has failed the nation and put is right.
We have remained as helpless as a baby being eaten alive by ants!
The tragedy of Zimbabwe is that we, the people have never had the William Henley's "unconquerable soul" and thus have never been masters of our own destiny. We have accepted the the corrupt and murderous Zanu PF thugs and their equally corrupt and utterly useless MDC/CCC side-kick fate throw at us. And have suffered and died in dum anguish!

ReplyDelete“Jonathan Moyo was once called 'a devil incarnate' by the late former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, for appointing editors of state-owned newspapers who had previously worked for independent media and were critical of Zanu-PF.
Moyo is like a chameleon; wherever he goes, he always chooses the color of the surroundings.
More harm has been done by the leaked audio, which has exposed Jonathan Moyo and shown that he only cares about his own personal advancement and is constantly against the majority of people. He constantly uses legal theater to purify power.
This only serves to highlight the type of a professor we have in Zimbabwe.
Regarding Moyo, his leaked audio largely supports the mercenary role he has consistently played. He is a hangman, an architect of constitutional brutality, and he reads from a clever handbook.
This discarded knowledgeable academic Professor Jonathan Moyo, who is currently eking out a living somewhere in East Africa's dungeons, has confessed that he had a telephone conversation with Counsel Zibusiso Ncube, who asked him to help Mbuso Fuzwayo on his Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill court challenge.
Moyo is trying to exhaust all necessary channels to come back home and buy loyalty from Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa.
He is making every effort to regain Mnangagwa, whom he called a "unelected dunderhead."
However his political career is dwindling and withering. It is actually coming to an end. Nobody trusts him anymore due to his flip-flopping antics. He changes like the Cape Town weather and is very unpredictable.
He is that kind of a character who enjoys hopping, skipping, jumping, and somersaulting all over the places while changing goal posts.
Prof. Jonathan Moyo, a former media hangman, was the main force behind the drafting of the most notorious and harsh draconian media law, AIPPA, which resulted in the arrest of private-sector journalists. He was also implicated in the bombing of Daily News publications, which occurred while Geoff Nyarota was the main editor.
Former Information Minister Jonathan Moyo promised to silence the Daily News because it constituted a security threat to the country. Then after he gave that statement the following morning, at gunpoint, an armed crowd detained the Daily News' six-man security staff at its printing facility.
Moyo, who introduced 75% local content at the national broadcasting ZBC, bombarded the whole country with Rambai Makashinga and Hondo Yeminda jingles from musician Last Chiyangwa popularly known as Tambaoga. Moyo made sure that no airplay was given to the opposition on both the television and radio. He hated the opposition with passion.”
So Professor Jonathan Moyo is at it once again, selling out the nation for 30 pieces of silver!
It must be said that many Zimbabweans have a knack for selling their own mother and will boast they had a mother to sell! Both Mnangagwa and Mugabe have never had any problems recruiting highly qualified Zimbabweans to do their dirty bidding.
A nation without common sense and moral standards is like a traveller who has no compass.

ReplyDelete“Since you know how to stop Zanu rig the election why don’t you implement that, the reforms that you have singing about why don’t you come and put everything in order, i think you are the only person who have let the citizens down.”
The people elected these MDC/CCC leaders, NOT WILBERT MUKORI, into office on the understanding they will bring about the democratic changes the nation was dying for. They even named their party Movement for Democratic Change. Of course, it is right and proper that the nation must hold these men and women to account for selling out on their promises. It is nauseating that those who dare hold the leaders to account should then be abused by nincompoops like you!
How many times have you been told that for democracy to work, the citizens must hold the leaders to account. It is the sacred duty of every citizen, including you, to hold leaders to account. You are therefore not only letting the nation down by failing to hold MDC/CCC leaders to account. You are abusing those few who are hold the leaders to account. And all because of your personality cult mentality.
You believe Chamisa is a demigod who can do no wrong. How any one can be so shallow, thick and slow in this day and age beggars belief! No wonder we are a failed state. Fcuk me! We really have some brain dead nincompoops amongst us, millions of them, and worst of all we gave them the voice and the vote!
“I think you are the only person who have let the citizens down!” S***t! And you are doing the citizens a big favour defending the twats who failed to implement ever one reform in 26 years including the 5 GNU years when they had the chance to do so?
"If blacks are to rule themselves people in towns will walk on sewage until they believe it's normal,” Ian Smith predicted. Of course, he was right. He said it with nincompoops like you in mind.
Here we are 46 years after independence and you are still failing to grasp the simple idea that leaders must be accountable to the people. There is a lot more to self government and it is no wonder we have blundered from pillar to post. This is like some one at University level who is completely buff old by primary level stuff!
Mind you, I am not blaming you for being an idiot. You are an idiot and it is not your fault. You are who you are! For the sake of the nation, I only wish there were not so many idiots, that’s all!

ReplyDeleteThe hypocrisy of leaders like Madhuku and Chiwenga is sickening; they happily denounce the evil of the Zanu PF dictatorship when they have contributed in creating the dysfunctional and oppressive system. They denounce the system when they are no longer in power but did nothing when they were in power.
The situation has been compounded by the people's failure to see these leaders for the sell outs they are!
@
ReplyDelete“Madhuku is a lawyer for hire irrespective of your party affiliation. He goes to the highest bidder and is not guided by societal moral compass if such a thing exist. His independence of thought is what has gotten him in trouble with both sides of the political divide.
You don’t ascribe Madhuku to partisan politics, his mind is bigger than that.
Today we are NOT debating his mistakes- his rights have been violated.
Wilbert- your failure to understand which battles to fight and the timings of your criticism make your writings tasteless even when you have a valid point.
Understanding which battles to fight and who to fight with does not mean you are align in all areas of political views.”
Madhuku participated in the flawed 2018 elections knowing fully well that Zanu PF was rigging and that participating would give Zanu PF legitimacy. He soldiered on and participated regardless because he also knew that Zanu PF was enticing the opposition to participate. Mnangagwa rewarded him with the seat in POLAD - a group of opposition leaders who publicly declared the rigged elections were free and fair and were granted all manner of benefits and privileges including twin-cab trucks.
Once again he participated in the 2023 elections knowing very well that doing so will give vote rigging Mnangagwa legitimacy out of greed.
Madhuku is right Zanu PF is a party of ruthless thugs who would just as readily turn on their critics will deadly violence and just as readily turn on each other. A few days ago the regime turned on him with the usual brutality because, in the regime’s infantile wisdom, he and his NCA followers were now an irritant.
Of course, Madhuku is a sell out and, as much as I have sympathy for all the victims of Zanu PF brutality. I am not naive, I will not pretend Madhuku is not getting his just reward for selling out.
Only a nincompoop would ever consider a sell out an allay to be trusted! I am NOT a nincompoop!
@ Benjamin
ReplyDeleteAmendment No. 3 is a decoy and Madhuku & co. are taking it up like dogs to a bone with the same foolish that made them sell out on reforms and participate in flawed elections. The real fight is still over implementing reforms to ensure free, fair and credible election - that is the only sure way to end the dictatorship.

ReplyDelete"Stop pretending that a country where leaders get 90% votes whilst the opposition are locked up are a democracy!" said former US President Obama.
In Zimbabwe the ruling party and the opposition have formed an unusual double act to deceive the people. The opposition MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship in 26 years including the 5 GNU years. Worst of all, they have lied to the people to con them to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship. They have done all this out of greed.
The real tragedy here is that millions of the MDC/CCC supporters are so naive, ignorant and gullible they have failed to see that Chamisa & co. are Zanu PF team B in all but name; playing for team A to win and have legitimacy. They pretend opposition leaders are fighting for democratic change even with no iota of evidence even after 26 years! They believe leaders like Chamisa are demigods who can do no wrong even in the face of a mountain of evidence the leaders are corrupt, incompetent, l;iars and conmen!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIIFOQpkFa0
ReplyDeleteRun up to the 2023 elections Freeman Chari and his Team Pachedu, computer data and programme analyst, carried out a thorough analysis of Zimbabwe's voters' roll. They discovered that the voters' roll was in shambles, corrupted deliberately to benefit the ruling party, Zanu PF. What is more, they discovered the tempering with the voters' was done three years before the 2023 elections and the work of individuals who KNEW what they were doing.
Chari & co. warned the nation that Zanu PF was spending a lot of sweat, blood, sinew and treasure in power retention and they were playing the long game. The regime has managed to stay in power for 46 years and counting precisely because it was running a very sophisticated operation. Zanu PF was playing a game of chess and was three or more moves ahead of the opposition who were playing checkers, worse still the ordinary people who were playing "nhodo"!
Mnangagwa threw on the national agenda the ED2030 Agenda that has since morphed into Constitutional Amendment No. 3 soon after the 2023 elections to draw attention away from the fact that Zanu PF had rigged those elections. Both the opposition and the populous have snapped this up like a puppy with an elephant thigh bone - proof they are still playing checkers, they have learned nothing.
Zimbabwe is a failed state because, 46 years after independence, we are still failing to cure ourselves of the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. We are heading for yet another rigged elections and millions conned to participate to give Zanu PF legitimacy.
Those who will not learn from the past are doomed to repeat the same idiotic mistakes!
@ Mahere
ReplyDeleteWhen Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con the people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy; he was NOT the people’s choice. And you, Fadzayi Mahere, when you participated in the flawed elections, you KNEW doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the people’s suffering. You soldiered on regardless for the same reason Chamisa lied - greed.
MDC/CCC leaders have been Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy. The real tragedy is that the people have been slow to realise what is going on. They have followed these MDC/CCC sell outs blindly, like sheep to the slaughter!
