Mnangagwa stopped Geza revolution with bribes. Next time it's brute force. "2026 igore rokungangurwa!" Kusvasvagwa! W Mukori

Mnangagwa was caught on the hop with the Blessed Geza revolution in January 2025 calling his attempt to stay in office beyond 2028 “bulls***t”. He resorted to bribery at an unprecedented scale to stop that run away train. He has given away hundreds of millions of boxes of Sapatina Sapatina chicken and chips; tens of millions of hampers with food and agricultural input; has poured millions of dollars into various development funds (most of the money was looted, that is another story too); hundreds of thousands of bicycle to war veterans (some too old to ride bicycles but that is another story), thousands of cars to a select few war veterans, Zanu PF party leaders, top brass in the security services, etc.; etc.

Mnangagwa did stop the Geza revolution but he is painfully aware that most of the recipients of his bribes are wallowing poverty because most of the bribes were nothing more than a boast of the fell-good factor designed to last a day for those who had the Sapatina Sapatina chicken and few weeks or months for others. And so the rumblings of discontent are growing waiting for another Blessed Runesu Geza “Bombshell” to start yet another revolt.

Mnangagwa is shrewd enough to know that he will not be able to stop another revolt against his failed tyrannical rule with Sapatina, Sapatina chickens, bicycles, etc. The people want meaningful political and economic change in their lives - hope - and that is the one thing he knows that he is incapable of giving them.

Mnangagwa’s gut instinct is to resist demands for change with unprecedented brute force. Passion Java is right 2026 will be the years Mnangagwa trades in the carrot of 2025 for a whip. “2026 igore rekungangurwa!”, as Java put it.

Mnangagwa is a man of blood, Zimbabwe has seen many, many cases of violence and murders since independence in 1980 from the Gukurahundi massacre to the 2008 electoral coup. and Mnangagwa has been at the heart of all these acts of barbarism and cold blooded murders. He is itching for the fight! “Tinovasvasvanga!” as he has often said!

As the nation wakes up to the economic reality that Mnangagwa’s vision 2030 - the nation tripling its GDP per capita from US$2k to US$6k to be a upper middle income nation - is a mirage; the rumblings of discontent will grow to earthquakes that no one can ignore.

The future is grime for Zimbabwe as we face the clash of the Tartans; the irresistible force of the populous demanding hope vs the immovable Zanu PF dictatorship determined to rule until donkeys sprout horns! Something has to give. There will be whaling, gnashing of teeth, destruction of property, many limbs broken and many lives lost. All this can still be avoided if only thugs like Mnangagwa would accept that they do not have the divine right to rig elections, never did!

“Now you are talking. Our problems started in 1987, MDC and its varients were not there. We are a dictatorship. A dictatorship will not reform itself out of power.

We are now a de facto One Party State.
ED has in 8 years achieved what Mugabe failed to do in 37 years. Obliterated the opposition by brute force, eliminating all descending voices, infiltrate the opposition, capture all levers of power.”

MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token democratic reform in 25 years and that has nothing to do with Zanu PF imposing the de facto one party state in 1987 nor Mnangagwa taking over in 2017. You just cannot accept that MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless. You can bury your head in the sand all you want the reality on the ground will not change.

The irony is that Tugwarara nor Mnangagwa himself cannot account for what they have. The finger pointing is being done by the guilty! Zimbabwe is a lawless nation and therefore there is no justice. Tugwarara is not going after those who looted the fund in pursuit of justice - he does not give a damn about that. He is settling political scores. Indeed, he might even be the one who encourage the individuals to loot the fund!

  5. The people of Zimbabwe know the 1987 Unity Accord had nothing to do with unity but everything to do with the imposition of the one party dictatorship. 20 000 PF Zapu supporters were not murdered for the sake of unity but to impose Zanu PF hegemony!

One of the most frustrating realities in Africa is that many of us KNOW why Africa is poor it is just that political power is in the hands of the buffoons who only seek to retain power at all costs including the continued suffering of millions of their own kith and kin.

Blacks have no qualms oppressing others including their own kith and kin. It seems blacks are the only humans in whom the primeval edge to dominate has remained untouched by the more rational "do unto others as you would have them do unto you!"
