SADC CALLS THE TANZANIAN ELECTION A SHAM!
The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has issued its preliminary Electoral Observation Mission report on Tanzania’s sham and violent election, and it is scathing.
The Preliminary Statement on the 2025 Tanzanian General Election include the following key issues:
1. Intimidation and Uneven Political Environment.
Reports of abductions and arrests of opposition activists and leaders, including Tundu Lissu of CHADEMA and Luhaga Mpina of ACT-Wazalendo.
Opposition members’ disqualifications created an uneven playing field and discouraged participation.
Some stakeholders said the “calm” environment was a result of covert intimidation and fear, not peace.
2. Restrictions on Electoral Justice.
🔁 Follow and share change Radio WhatsApp Channel in every group! https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb6fXziGZNCmBNc1U61K/8
Article 41(7) of the Constitution bars courts from challenging presidential election results.
Article 74(12) prevents courts from reviewing the Electoral Commission’s actions.
Both provisions block transparency, accountability, and judicial recourse, which contradict SADC democratic principles.
3. Compromised Independence of the Electoral Commission.
The President, who is also the ruling party chairperson and a presidential candidate, appoints the election commissioners, raising doubts about their independence.
4. Internet Shutdown and Information Blackout.
The internet was cut off on election day, halting communication and preventing SEOM from gathering or transmitting data on polling, counting, and closing processes.
5. Harassment of Observers.
SEOM observers were interrogated by security forces, had passports temporarily seized, and were forced to delete photographs in Tanga.
Accreditation delays and missing introduction letters hindered their work.
6. Media Censorship and Lack of Freedom of Expression.
Censorship of online platforms and restrictions on media freedom were reported.
State-owned media overwhelmingly favoured the ruling party, while private media self-censored out of fear of losing licences.
7. Low Voter Turnout and Suspicious Voting Practices.
The mission recorded very low turnout across polling stations.
Some ballot boxes showed multiple stacked ballots, suggesting possible ballot stuffing.
8. Gender and Youth Marginalisation.
Only 3 of 17 presidential candidates were women.
Women and youth faced cultural, financial, and institutional barriers to meaningful participation.
9. Exclusion of Civil Society and Voter Education Groups.
Some established NGOs were denied accreditation for voter education.
Funding reductions and late accreditation announcements hurt civic education quality.
10. Security Overreach.
Heavy police presence, particularly in Dar es Salaam, sometimes outnumbered voters.
Reports of police firing guns in several regions (Mbeya, Dodoma, Arusha, Dar es Salaam).
11. Constitutional Limitations on Independent Candidates.
Laws prevent citizens who are not affiliated with political parties from running for office, restricting political choice and freedom of association.
12. Domestic Observers Largely Absent.
SEOM noted a lack of local election observers in most polling stations.
13. Delayed Report Publication.
The SEOM could not issue its statement within the usual two days due to security and communication challenges, underscoring the tense and repressive environment.
In conclusion, the SEOM determined that voters could not freely express their democratic will and that the 2025 Tanzanian elections fell short of SADC’s Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections.
The observation team was led by the Right Honourable Richard Msowoya, former Speaker of Parliament of the Republic of Malawi."
SADC must act and end this madness once and once for all!
@ Chamisa
ReplyDeleteThe one thing Tanzania did not have is a sell out opposition who not only failed to implement even one reform when they had the chance to do so but opposition leaders who conned the nation to participate in flawed elections out of greed.
Chamisa, are you ever going to admit that you are a liar and conman? You lied about plugging all the vote rigging loop holes to con the nation to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. There is no denying that MDC/CCC are Zanu PF team B in all but name.
The only reason you will refuse to admit you are a liar and conman is because you want to lie and con the nation once again! Enough is enough!
@ Martin
ReplyDelete"Chimbotungamirai imi vakuru tione. You got my 100 percent support. Blaming vamwe varume for a lifetime inondinyon’onya so."
All those in public office are accountable to the people and "the people" includes any one and everybody. Indeed, it is the sacred duty of every one to hold leaders to account. So why is that when Chamisa is held to account for lying about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con the people to participate in flawed elections you call that "blaming" him?
Is it because you cannot stomach the truth that Chamisa is a liar and conman? He is a demigod who can do no wrong much less lie. And so we must all falsify the record and pretend Chamisa did not lie and all those who dare say otherwise are "blaming" him for something is is totally incapable of doing.
This is the foolish that has allowed leaders like Chamisa to lie and con millions to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation's suffering again and again and again. After 45 years of rigged elections the nincompoop keep believing in these idiotic lies. Why not; Chamisa is incapable of lying!
Fcuk me! Chamisa is not a demigod. He is not a mere mortal but a corrupt, incompetent. a liar and a conman. Get that into your nincompoop head!
@ Beauty
ReplyDeleteChamisa did lie about plugging all vote rigging loop holes; even a nincompoop like you cannot deny that historic fact. But being a nincompoop you think anyone who dares speak the truth about Chamisa being a liar “hates Chamisa and is dragging him down”.
If speaking the truth, calling a liar a liar, is dragging Chamisa down then so be it. We need the 2 million nincompoops out there who were conned to participate in flawed 2023 elections educate that Chamisa is a liar. This must be done even at the expense of being accused of “hating Chamisa” by some of the nincompoops!
@ Martin M N
ReplyDelete"What good are we if we are brilliant at eloquently blaming other people, offering no leadership, no creativity, no problem resolution but calling other people names.
My friend, life is too short to be insulting everyone. Pray for inner peace and clear direction so you experience joy and direct your thoughts to something positive you enjoy doing."
Well, well! This is rich. You are just a nincompoop who does not have the common sense to admit that Chamisa lied and conned the nation into participating in flawed elections to perpetuate the nation's suffering, even when this has been explained to you countless times.
In your infantile stupidity you consider Chamisa to be a demigod and you are out to defend him by accusing me of "blaming Chamisa" for lying!
You do not have the intellect to carry out the sacred duty of holding leaders to account and, being the village idiot that you are, attack all those who do hold leaders to account.
Nincompoops like you are a curse to any nation, more in Zimbabwe's case since you number in your millions and you have the vote! Zimbabwe is stuck in this hell-hole and nincompoops like you landed us here!
"My friend, life is too short to be insulting everyone!" Calling you a nincompoop is not insulting you. You have no clue what is in your own person interest. Participating in flawed elections to perpetuate your own suffering is not in your own personal interest and nincompoop have the knack for shooting themselves in the foot.
So calling a nincompoop is not insulting you; it is telling you the truth! You are a nincompoop!
@ Lionel
ReplyDelete"You started your instalment very well but somehow you always find a way of twisting your presentation to "a single token of reform"
You are more like Trump who in every speech blames Joe Biden. Apa Trump akarakashwa nezuro.
If MDC/CCC didn't implement reforms then it's every citizen's right to demand those reforms. If you fail O levels then you rewrite them until you get 5 passes.
You will soon blame Chamisa for the pending molestation of our constitution yet you have an equal right as an armchair politician to say no to 2030."
It is a historic fact that MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement any democratic reforms even when they had the golden opportunity to do so. It is also a historic fact that the nation is in this mess because of that historic betrayal. And, most important, it is a historic fact that the nation will never get out of this mess until we implement the reforms. Chamisa and his MDC/CCC fiends have been lying to the nation that they have devised strategies of winning rigged elections.
You never address the issues raised. You always fume and froth that MDC/CCC leaders are responsible for selling out on implementing reforms, etc. You have a personality cult mentality and Chamisa is a demigod who must not be questioned much less held to account for selling out, lying and conning people.
I do not have your personality cult mentality. Chamisa is NOT a demigod. He is a mere mortal and a corrupt and incompetent one to boot! I am here to educate as many of the 2m brain dead who believed his idiotic lies and were conned to participate in flawed elections to make sure they too KNOW that Chamisa is not a demigod but a liar and conman.
You just cannot bear to hear the truth said about Chamisa. You can fume anded froth all you want. Chamisa is not a demigod. He is a liar and conman!
@ Tich
ReplyDelete"To you Mnangagwa id a Demigod you are compaigning for 2030 to dismiss elections in Zimbabwe ans to create a Dynasy through Mutapa Funding.
If Chamisa is a conman, the only nice residence for cruminals is the jail. Why don't you arrest him foe conning the people of Zimbabwe.
Your day. Is coming very soon watch space."
So you still believe Chamisa was fighting Mnangagwa by failing to implement even one token reform during the GNU and by conning millions to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Your stupidity never seize to amaze me.
But then it is possible that you are NOT that dumb and stupid. You know that Chamisa and company are Zanu PF team B in all but name just as you are not a brain dead Chamisa supporter. You Zanu PF agent pretending to be brain dead.
"Your day. Is coming very soon watch space!" Of course, my day is coming as does to all mortals! Your telling me my day is coming does not add nor subtract a micro second to that day. And, what is more, I will not stop saying Chamisa is a liar and conman because this is the truth that must be said from the roof top!
@ Beauty
ReplyDeleteStop talking nonsense! Of course Chamisa lied and he knew he was lying about plugging all vote rigging loop holes. You are just a nincompoop who will never accept that Chamisa lied because in your infantile stupidity you believe him a demigod!
How is it possible in this day and age that anyone can be so shallow, thick and slow to believe a mere mortal a demigod beggars belief!
When you know you are a corrupt, incompetent and failed leader you use violence to silence all your critics and thus hang on to power. That the mandate to govern must be derived from the people by winning majority of the votes in a free, fair and credible election is a luxury a buffoon with no brain to articulate even one sound and coherent policy cannot afford. Zimbabwe has been ruled by buffoons since the country’s independence in 1980.
ReplyDeleteMnangagwa is boasting about his vaRakashi4ED gangs and how they are terrorising the nation as if this is a great achievement! Fear and not law, reason and justice rules the roost!
We have many opportunities to end the dictatorship especially during the 2008 to 2013 GNU, and we wasted them all. Now with the nation up to her eyes in the economic and political hell-on-earth Zanu PF landed us in; the big question is how much longer are we going to allow the buffoons ride rough shod over us all?
@ George
ReplyDelete“It’s clear you don't understand SADC. This is a gentlemen's club. SADC will never do anything beyond that observer mission report. Sadly Tanzanians like Zimbabweans are on their own. That's why the west ends up taking action and you call it neocolonialism.”
SADC and AU denied Zanu PF legitimacy following the blatant cheating and wanton violence of Zimbabwe’s 2008 elections and forced Mugabe and Zanu PF to accept the 2008 to 2013 GNU. The primary purpose of the GNU was to implement the democratic reforms to restore the people’s freedoms and rights including the right to free and fair elections. The fact that not even one token reform was implemented in the 5 GNU years was because MDC leaders sold out!
SADC and AU did not deny Zanu PF legitimacy in 2023 because Chamisa conned 2 m of his brain dead followers to participate in the flawed elections giving the process legitimacy. Of course, the 2m are brain dead - only idiots would believe Chamisa’s idiotic lie of plugging vote rigging loop hole.
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that many of the idiots are refusing to accept that Chamisa is a liar. The danger of Chamisa conning them yet again to participate in flawed 2028 elections in their millions is real!
Zimbabwe is getting US$400 m or 20% of her US$2b gold revenue per year, the rest is smuggled and looted according to Al Jazeera Gold Mafia documentary. So only 20% of the “Before ED” schools in Zimbabwe have been transformed the rest are still grass thatched mud hovels!
ReplyDeleteThe looting in other areas such as diamonds and lithium is much worse than 80%. There really is nothing to be proud of here. NOTHING!
This is just s gimmick! What does the ordinary person know about how much government is collecting as tax. This is a regime that has consistently denied the people a meaningful say in the governance of the country but giving them a meaningful say in how the nation’s wealth is spend!
ReplyDeletehttps://x.com/WMukori/status/1986495266514739431
ReplyDeleteThe government of President Samia Hassan of Tanzania down played the number of people killed during the recent street protests over the rigged elections. 500 to 700 people were killed.
When the Tanzanian soldiers refused to order the shoot to kill order, the regime got mercenaries from Uganda. It turns out that Uganda mercenaries have been used in many other African countries and beyond. A very worrying development.
Both SADC and AU election observers have condemned Tanzania's elections as flawed and illegal. A good start but one that must be followed with denying Tanzania political legitimacy. Both the regional and continental body must act decisively and deny President Hassan's government legitimacy.
It is laughable that Zimbabwe's VP Chiwenga condemned the failure to hold free and fair elections and the use of wanton violence in Tanzania. What a hypocrite! He is condemning the vote rigging and the wanton violence - the very thing he and his Zanu PF colleagues have subjected the people of Zimbabwe to for the last 45 years!
SADC and AU must deny Tanzania political legitimacy and force that nation into a GNU whose primary purpose will be to implement democratic reforms to guarantee free, fair and credible elections in future.
With no reforms implemented since the rigged 2023 elections, the challenge for Zimbabweans is to make sure Chamisa & co. do not con their brain dead followers to participate in flawed 2028 elections and give SADC and AU the excuse for failing to punish Zanu PF for yet another rigged elections! A tough call given one cannot reason with these Chamisa chete chete sheep!

Hupenzi inyama yegakava!
So Chamisa is rescuing Zimbabweans Zanu PF dictatorship by failing to implement even one token reform in 25 years of the MDC/CCC including the 5 GNU years. He does not stop there, he and his fiend MDC/CCC banded mongoose have conned the people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed.
“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2023) elections. The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
SADC and many others have warned Zimbabweans of the sheer madness of participating in flawed elections. Even after 45 years of Zanu PF rigging elections and 25 years of MDC/CCC with not even one token reform implemented; the penny has not dropped that Chamisa & co. are Zanu PF team B in all but name.
Indeed, those who are fighting to stop the insanity of participating in flawed 2028 have become public enemy number one! “You are very stupid!” says the village idiot!
The village idiot cannot accept that Chamisa lied because he has a personality cult mentality. To it (human with the IQ of a garden slug), Chamisa is a demigod who cannot do wrong!
No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state; we not only have village idiots, millions of them, but worst of all we have given them a voice and the vote. Fancy being called very stupid by a village idiot - it like being slapped by a copse! No wonder many have walked away from Zimbabwe; they are let the mentally dead bury the dead!
The village idiots are holding the whole nation to ransom! Surely we MUST put an end to this madness. Garden slugs must not be allowed to call humans "very stupid" and get away with it!

ReplyDelete"Zimbabwe is open for business!" was Mnangagwa's rallying call when he took over from Mugabe in 2017. He was cocksure there would be a flood of investors and kick-start the country's comatose economy. The flood of investors never happened because nothing had change.
Investors had shied away from Zimbabwe because the country was a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs who rigged elections to stay in power. The military coup of 2017 had booted out one dictator, Mugabe, and a few of his cronies only to replace him with another dictator, Mnangagwa, and his cronies.
Investors are shrewd lot, they were not fooled into believe the musical chairs change ended the pariah state. And so "Zimbabwe is open for business!" was dead in the water from the word go. What has remained of that mantra is trade-mark ED scarf!
Mnangagwa wears the scarf like a parent of a dead child, who has given up ever having another child and so determined that all remember he did once upon a time had a child. And those around him, wear the scarf to flatter him.
MNANGAGWA HAS GIVEN UP REVIVING THE ZIMBABWE ECONOMY AND WILL NEVER HOLD FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT, WITH NO SOUND ECONOMIC POLICIES TO OFFER, HE WILL NEVER WIN SUCH ELECTIONS. OUR CHALLENGE IS TO MAKE SURE HE DOES NOT GET AWAY WITH RIGGED ELECTIONS!
@ P Kigame
ReplyDeleteHis own hands are not clean either!

ReplyDeleteHaving a debate with a shallow minded person is very difficult because shallow minded people cannot accept that there a complex issues that cannot be answered with simple 1 + 1 = 2!
For example, if one asked; Who was the British Prime Minister in 1770? And some one answered: "Tony Blare!" I will tell you it was not Tony Blare. Should I say nothing because I do not know the right answer?
I have said pushing for VP Chiwenga to replace Mnangagwa will be just as foolish as replacing Mugabe with Mnangagwa because we already know that Chiwenga is as much a corrupt, incompetent and murderous thug as Mnangagwa and Mugabe.
If we agree that Chiwenga is indeed a corrupt, incompetent and murderous thug; the the more rational next step is to look for someone better.
Yes, a simpleton would urge that we should still go with Chiwenga since you have not named anyone else better! Of course, it will be foolish to go along with that!
The present political system has not allowed quality leaders to emerge but that does not mean there are no quality leaders in Zimbabwe. What we need is to implement the necessary democratic changes to encourage quality leaders to emerge.
Zimbabwe's present political system has turned a dam of clean water into a sewage pond. You will never catch quality fish in a sewage pond. We need to drain the pond and refill it with clean water, this is what implementing the democratic reforms is all about.
You want a quick fix! There is no quick fix!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8y8URoVMAk
ReplyDeleteAny one who thinks that corrupt, incompetent and murderous VP Chiwenga is presidential material is stupid. Only a fool would accept Chiwenga is not a democrat but we should nonetheless fight for him to replace Mnangagwa because "we have failed to name an alternative"!
True enough, there are very few, if any, quality leaders in the present Zimbabwe body politics the nation can consider presidential material. The problem is the rotten political system which has produced corrupt, incompetent vote rigging thugs by their hundreds of thousands. You will never catch quality fish fishing in a sewage pond. Zimbabwe body-politics is but a sewage pond.
We need to drain the sewage pond and refill it with clean water, this is where implementing the democratic reforms come in. A healthy political system will encourage quality leaders to emerge.
A healthy and functioning democratic Zimbabwe will not be achieved in a week, a year or even a decade and seeking a quick fix, such as elected a known dictator like Chiwenga, will only make a bad situation worse!
NOT EVERY PROBLEM IS A SIMPLE PROBLEM WITH A SIMPLE QUICK-FIX SOLUTION!

ReplyDelete“Iwe Mukori Dai Mwari akutora 2026!”
My cardinal sin is that I dared to say Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con millions to participate in flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering.
There is a real danger that Chamisa will con the millions to participate in flawed 2028 to perpetuate the nation’s suffering. It is a sacred duty of all with the intellect to see and comprehend what is going on to sound the warning. If doing so is a cardinal sin then so be it.
As far as I am concerned to let village idiots silence me on this matter will be the cardinal sin I will not forgive myself for.
“Iwe Mukori dai Mwari akutora 2026!” To which God are you praying? Chamisa’s #Godisinit!
Meanwhile, the message CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND CONMAN! will continue be broadcast from the rooftops. Driven into the empty heads with a sludge hammer!

ReplyDelete“Mnangagwa failed us until now we have a failed state. Better with Chiwenga than to start debating on comparisons. We don't the time for that debate neither are you a King Maker who decides for us. Mnangagwa out Chiwenga in then next Chamisa in that order. Like it or not. Those who are jealousy go and vomit outside.”
After 45 years of rigged elections and bad governance you do not have time to end the madness of rigged elections and bad governance?
You agree Chiwenga is a corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging murderous thug but you will want him as president just because he has fallen out with his fellow Zanu PF thugs. He will never ever implement any democratic reforms and reform him himself out of office. Never! And you still want him as president?
Frankly, I am not surprised to hear you say that! You have again and again shown that you have the IQ of a garden slug and it would be expecting too much to expect you to say anything rational.
“insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result,” said Albert Einstein. Even he would be shock that anyone, much less a whole nation, would participate in flawed elections expecting the opposition to win for 45 years and counting!
The challenge before Zimbabwe is to stop the madness of participating in rigged elections to perpetuate the vote rigging Zanu PF dictatorship. One would have thought that after 45 years of rigged elections even a garden slug understood what must be done. Clearly not yet, the message must be hammered home with a sludge hammer. Fortunately I have the sludge hammer!

ReplyDeleteRussia has used her own prisoners as cannon fodder in the war against Ukraine and now that nation is turning to Africa. Thousands of Africans are signing up for military training and to fight for Russia.
Besides Ukraine, Russia's Wagner Group is operating in many African countries providing armed security services to some of the continent's corrupt and murderous regimes. Wagner is allowed to loot the nation's resources as payment for its services.
So Russia will soon have a pool of African mercenaries to fight its dirty wars anywhere in Africa.
What will the African nation do with the thousands of battle hardened soldiers discharged from the Russian Army?
Africa has enough teething problems already and this Russian Recruitment is going to compound our problems. The tragedy is we are helpless to stop it. The recruits are so desperate for a way out of their present hopelessness, they will risk all for a paying job at last!
Preliminary statement of the Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC countries (ECF-SADC) on the general election of Tanzania is again scathing and correctly harsh.
ReplyDeleteThe issues identified in the Preliminary Statement include several serious concerns that question the credibility, transparency, and fairness of the polls.
Here are the key negative findings:
1. Incomplete and Superficial Electoral Reforms.
• Opposition parties complained that reforms were only partially implemented, as no constitutional amendments were made to back them up.
• There is no legal avenue to challenge presidential election results, which the report calls a denial of electoral justice .
• The addition of the word Independent to INEC’s name was described as symbolic, with no substantive independence guaranteed, since the appointments of INEC and ZEC members were still made under old laws.

ReplyDeleteSome of the filthy rich religious leaders feeding on the poorest of the poor are from Africa. Religion has become the opium of the people. African will believe anything they hear, especially from the leaders, even in the face of a mountain of evidence proving otherwise.
It is not surprising that the continent's corrupt. incompetent and tyrannical politicians have too taken full advantage of this fundamental weakness. They have become demigods who rule and are not accountable to anyone - the very antithesis of what a healthy and functioning democracy should be.
Democracy, government of the people, only works if the said people are educated, knowledgeable, objective and diligent in carrying our their sacred duty of holding leaders to account. Zimbabweans have none of these qualities and hence the reason why they hold leaders in such high regard they are demigods!

ReplyDeleteThe people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power for one specific task - to implement the democratic reforms to end the curse of Zanu PF rigging the elections and bad governance. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token democratic reform these last 25 years including the 5 GNU years of 2008 to 2013. Worse still, they have given up on implementing the reforms and have been participating in flawed elections to perpetuate the dictatorship for a share of the spoils of power. They have even been conning the nation to participate in flawed elections on the basis of idiotic lies that the opposition will win rigged elections.
The opposition leaders are hell bent on continuing the folly of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy, perpetuate the dictatorship for a their share of the spoils of power. In the past they have used the lie that they have devised strategies to win rigged elections to justify participating in flawed elections. This time they are using stopping ED2030 agenda as the smoke-screen.
@ Tony Bindura
ReplyDeleteI have answered that in five rational steps:
1) I have explained to you that Chiwenga is NOT presidential material because he has shown that he is corrupt, incompetent and a vote rigging thugs no different from Mnangagwa or Mugabe. Just because he has fallen out with Mnangagwa does not make him presidential material.
2) Just because there is no alternative leader at present does not mean there is no such alternative out there.
3) I told you why we have no competent alternative leaders - the present political system does not encourage quality leaders to emerge. Zimbabwe is a sewage pond, you do not get quality fish from a sewage pond.
4) Implementing the democratic reforms is tantamount to draining the sewage pond and filling it with clean water. The nation will have quality fish then.
5) You want Chiwenga in if there is no alternative because you are a simpleton who thinks that this is a simple problem with a simple quick-fix solution. It is not a simple problem! Your wishful thinking will never turn a complex problem into a simple 1 + 1 = 2! Never!

ReplyDeleteWe have gone through this countless times! Did MDC leaders fail to implement even one reform during the GNU because “they did not have the power to arm twist Zanu PF”?
@ Satisho Soldier
ReplyDeleteWe have participated in flawed elections expecting CCC to win big for 45 years and counting. Even the big man would have believe anyone, which less a whole nation, can be that insane!
@ Godfrey
ReplyDeleteMDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform in 25 years including the 5 GNU years. They have participated in flawed elections KNOWING fully well that Zanu PF would rig and that participating would give the regime legitimacy. This is not just me saying these things, they admit it it themselves.
“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2023) elections. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
There is a mountain of evidence to prove the MDC/CCC is rotten to the core and yet there are people who still think it is just one or two rotten apples!
Chamisa has lied again and again about the opposition winning rigged election to con millions to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering. And yet we have some people who refuse to accept he is a liar and a conman and continue to follow him blindly. Why?
Well, they have the personality cult mentality and to them leaders like Chamisa a demigods who can do no wrong. Why anyone, let alone millions would consider a mere mortal a demigod in this day and age beggars belief.
No wonder we are a failed state - having millions of brain dead citizens is bad enough, we gave them a voice and a vote. Chamisa had no problem conning this lot to participate in flawed elections on the back of idiotic lies. He is set to do that again in 2028!
@ Satoshi Soldier
ReplyDelete“I would also add. Is there anything intrinsically wrong with a one party state or a dictatorship if that leadership was orientated towards the welfare of the people rather than self-aggrandisement.”
Yes there is something intrinsically wrong with a one party state or a dictatorship because the system is premised on the assumption that one individual or a select few know best what is good for the nation and the rest must have no say. Only an arrogant fool would be that presumptuous and the nation will be very foolish indeed to let the arrogant idiot carry the day!
@ Wilfred
ReplyDeleteYou still making the mistake of thinking it is only the opposition leaders who are brain-dead dinosaurs. Their followers are worse!
Trust me the dinosaurs are a hell lot smarter than the garden slugs! The dinosaurs have lied about CCC winning big and the garden slugs have believed the idiotic lies and participated in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering.
Call Chamisa a liar and the garden slugs will be all over you in defence of their dinosaur demigod!
@ Godfrey
ReplyDelete"Relevance yetaitaura nezuro iyo - all his previous sins and incompetencies will be washed clean by this campaign message."
Since the GNU debacle the opposition has con people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy on the basis of the idiotic lie that the opposition has devised winning in rigged election strategies. Millions believed the idiotic lies and participated again and again and again.
In 2017 the people were so focused on “Mugabe must go!” the supported to military coup. They took their eye off the ball - to demand reform and free and fair elections, the only sure way to end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. It did not take long before they realised they were short changed - swapping one dictator for another changed nothing.
In 2028 the opposition leaders will con the people to participated once again in flawed elections telling them they are defending the constitution and stopping ED 2030 Agenda. Zanu PF will rig the elections and the nation will still be stuck with the Zanu PF dictatorship headed by a Zanu PF dictator. Whether it is Mnangagwa (there is no guarantee he will fail to extend his stay) or some one else is irrelevant. It will be 2017 repeating itself.
Zimbabwe's has been cursed with political leaders who have paid lip-service to "One man, one vote!", to implementing democratic reforms to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and, to crown it all, with an electorate that is ignorant, naive and gullible. Millions of voters have been con to do all manner of foolish things like participating in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering! No wonder we are not only a failed state but are stuck!
The country is in total economic meltdown and all the politician are concerned about is that they should be given a share of the looted wealth! Every one knows that the US$40 000 housing loan was a bribe and now they want it increased to US$150 000! The idiot even has the chutzpah to call it a housing loan knowing fully well none of them will ever repay the money.
ReplyDeleteOne of these fine days there will be real political change in Zimbabwe. And since these politician and cronies pretend they got housing loans then they will be asked to repay the loans!
HARARE – In the midst of Zimbabwe’s deepening economic turmoil, Members of Parliament (MPs) from both ZANU–PF and the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) are demanding hefty loans of up to US$150,000 each to build luxury homes, sparking outrage among ordinary citizens grappling with inflation, unemployment, and deteriorating public services.
DeleteThe demands, reportedly led by ex-CCC Secretary-General Chalton Hwende, come on top of a string of previous benefits enjoyed by legislators — including US$40,000 housing loans, residential stands, and new laptops issued ahead of the 2023 elections.
And yet Mnangagwa paid the US$40 000 to bribe opposition to participate in flawed 2023 elections to give him legitimacy. Of course, he will bribe them again to participate in flawed 2028 elections. Zanu PF rigging 2028 elections is more important than Mnangagwa extending his stay in office beyond 2028, he knows that but clearly not some people!
ReplyDelete@ Blessed
ReplyDeleteYes because Zimbabwe had 45 years of rigged elections and is set to repeat this in 2028 if sell outs like Chamisa are not stopped. But what would a nincompoop like you know of such matters, you have your head buried in Chamisa’s back side!
@ Honorable
ReplyDelete"Can we guys look at the way forward now looking current issues we are aware of the situation.what we need here is to find a way we can unplug The Mnangagwa government."
The only sure way to end the Zanu PF dictatorship is by implementing the democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. MDC leaders had the golden opportunity to get this done during the 2008 to 2013 GNU, they wasted it.
Ever since the GNU debacle the opposition has participated in flawed on the basis of idiotic lies they will win rigged elections out of greed. The opposition supporters have believed the idiotic lies and participated in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy.
Our number one task is to stop the opposition participating in 2028 elections under the false pretext they are stopping ED 2030 Agenda. ED 2030 is the decoy the real fight is stopping Zanu PF rigging 2028 and get away with it because we participated!
Zanu PF can afford to to lose ED 2030 Agenda but cannot afford to see the party lose the 2028 elections or lose legitimacy and be forced into a new GNU! After 45 years of rigged elections and counting, the challenge is ending the insanity of rigged elections!
@ Luxx
ReplyDeleteElections have not worked in Zimbabwe, you are right; but that is because we have failed to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. MDC/CCC leaders have not only failed to implement even one reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections in 25 years but have conned the nation to participate in flawed elections.
The solution is to stop the MDC/CCC sellout!
@ Gucci
ReplyDeleteStop Chamisa & co. conning the nation into participating in flawed 2028 election to give Zanu PF legitimacy under the pretext that participating will stop ED 2030 Agenda as if that is all that matters! After n45 years of rigged elections the real challenge is ending this madness!

ReplyDeleteThere are a number of lessons to be learned by the people of Tanzania and Zimbabwe from the violence before and after Tanzania's recent elections. It is a great pity that decades after independence Zimbabwe, Tanzania and many African countries are still failing to hold free and fair elections.
The root cause of our political instability and economic meltdown is the failure to hold free, fair and credible elections. We really need to sort this out a.s.a.p. There is really no excuse for this carry-on! Africa, enough is bloody enough!
https://www.facebook.com/wilbert.mukori.5/videos/1974783736633665
ReplyDeleteTO SAY DEMOCRACY DOES NOT WORK IN AFRICA IS TO MISS THE POINT COMPLETELY. WE IN ZIMBABWE HAVE FAILED TO HOLD FREE, FAIR AND CREDIBLE ELECTIONS IN 45 YEARS AND COUNTING. SO HOW CAN WE SAY FREE ELECTIONS DO NOT WORK WHEN WE HAVE NEVER HELD FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS?
THE NUMBER ONE LESSON WE SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FOLLOWING THE MADNESS, "DZUNGU", OF SUPPORTING THE 2017 MILITARY COUP IS THAT WE CANNOT END THE CURSE OF BAD GOVERNANCE BY SWAPPING ONE DICTATOR WITH ANOTHER. WE NEED TO END THE DICTATORSHIP ITSELF. WE NEED TO SEVERE MEDUSA'S HEAD AS PERSEUS DID AND NOT CUTTING OFF ONE SNAKE, ONE DICTATOR, AT A TIME.
@ Nev
ReplyDeleteIF PEOPLE WERE SO EASILY CONNED TO BELIEVE AN IDIOTIC LIE THEY CAN BE CONNED AGAIN AND AGAIN. WE NEED TO FIND OUT WHY THEY WERE EASILY CONNED. WE NEED TO FIND OUT WHY SOME OF THESE IDIOTS ARE DEFENDING CHAMISA AND REFUSING TO ADMIT THAT HE IS A LIAR AND CONMAN! WE NEED TO DIG DEEPER THAN THE USUAL POTATO-SICK DEEP! WE HAVE MILLIONS OF IDIOTS OUT THERE AND ONLY AN IDIOT WOULD BELIEVE CHAMISA IS THE ONLY LIAR AND CONMAN IN ZIMBABWE AND THAT HE WILL NEVER COME BACK.
@ Nev
ReplyDeleteThis is the stupidity that is holding back Zimbabwe! So anyone who dares holds Chamisa to account must be a Zanu PF supporter?
Did Chamisa lie about plugging vote rigging loop holes and conned people to participate in flawed elections giving Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering? Yes he did!
Who benefited from the lying and conning people? Zanu PF!
Who are suffering from the consequences of perpetuating the dictatorship? The ordinary people!
How anyone can still be so shallow, thick and slow to still consider Chamisa a hero beggars belief. Chamisa is a liar and conman - get that into your nincompoop head!
@ Ian Khama
ReplyDelete"Samia Hassan is illegitimate!"
This will make some people who too have rigged elections sweat because they know this condemnation will only make it harder for them to rig future elections and get away with it!
SADC and AU both condemned Zimbabwe’s 2023 elections but did not go the extra mile and deny the regime legitimacy only because Chamisa and his banded mongoose idiots participated in the flawed elections and conned millions of their brain dead supporters to do the same.
Many of the conned supporters now know Chamisa is a LIAR and CONMAN.
Getting legitimacy in 2028 is not going to be a walk in the park for Zanu PF!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUvdZr04oVg
ReplyDelete"Samia Hassan is illegitimate" said former Botswana President, Ian Khama.
It is absurd that decades after independence many African countries are plagued with political instability and economic chaos because they are stuck with leaders who believe they have the divine right to rule the country.
The mandate to govern must be derived from the people in a free, fair and credible elections. The right to free and fair elections is more than a basic right, it is the essence of good governance - the one thing Africa has been dying for generations.
Every vote rigging tyrant must know they are illegitimate! Enough of this bulls***t!
@ Tsenengmu
ReplyDelete“ED forgives Tsenengamu as former Zanu PF youth leader seeks Zanu PF return.
HARARE – Former Zanu PF Youth League Political Commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu, who had turned into a strong critic of President Emmerson Mnangagwa's administration, has made a dramatic return to the ruling party after a meeting with the party strongman.
Tsenengamu was fired from Zanu PF in 2020 for “wayward behavior” after accusing top officials of corruption.
After his expulsion, Tsenengamu turned rogue against Mnangagwa and started criticizing him on any given platform.
He stunned Zimbabwe’s political scene after confirming that he met Mnangagwa in Harare on Friday morning.”
So in 2020 comrade Tsenengamu had his Saul on the Road to Damascus moment was blinded by the light and saw Zanu PF leaders for whom they really are - corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and murderous thugs. He change his name to Paul and was fighting the thugs to restore polo’s freedoms, rights and human dignity.
Now, five years later, he has had yet about Road to Damascus blinding moment, he has flipped over completely. He sees nothing wrong with being corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and murderous thugs. He is not the only one who has tasted the gravy train good life and abandon their earlier promises to fight in the corner for the down trodden common people.
A piece of Sapatina! Sapatina! chicken is enough to get some people praising Zanu PF thugs. The MDC/CCC leaders were bribed with the trappings of high office, the E-Class Mercedes Benz for all deputy ministers, ministers, deputy PM and PM; very generous salaries and allowances all round, a US$4m mansion of Tsvangirai himself, etc., etc. In return they failed to implement even one token reform in 5 years of the GNU. And ever since the GNU debacle, they have conned their followers mot participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship.
MDC/CCC leader are Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy. Who knows, may be Tsenengamu was disillusion with being Zanu PF team B in all but name, it was less confusing to being Zanu PF team A.
No wonder we are a failed state, we have never had quality opposition leader. Never! And it shows!
@ Gifford Sibanda
ReplyDelete“IN Zimbabwe's political landscape, history has a way of repeating itself-especially when it comes to Zanu PF's mastery of political distraction and perception management.
As debates intensify around the so-called "2030 agenda," which allegedly seeks to extend President Emmerson Mnangagwa's stay in power, one is compelled to ask: are we, once again, falling for a well-orchestrated political diversion?
In 2011, when the opposition was at its most confident and the Government of National Unity (GNU) had somewhat stabilised the economy, Zanu PF launched a campaign to collect two million signatures against sanctions. The move came at a time when the opposition's credibility was at its peak and the constitution-making process was underway, promising new democratic possibilities.
For Zanu PF, that campaign was not merely about sanctions-it was about regaining political relevance and setting the national agenda. The initiative dominated headlines, shifted public discourse, and momentarily repositioned Zanu PF as the voice of nationalism under siege, rather than a party in decline. In hindsight, it was a calculated act of political theatre.
The parallels with the current "2030 agenda" are hard to miss. Once again, the nation's attention has been diverted toward a controversial proposal that may, in fact, serve other internal strategic purposes rather than being a genuine policy push.”
You have nailed it ED 2030 Agenda is indeed “a calculated act of political theatre” to draw attention away from the fact that both SADC and AU election observers condemned Zimbabwe’s 2023 election process. Mnangagwa is, per se, illegitimate but who would care about that when faced with the of the illegitimate extending his stay in power beyond current term limit. “ED 2030 Agenda” was thrown in to force people consider the rigged 2023 elections as water under the bridge. It worked!
In 2017 the people of Zimbabwe were warned that it was foolish to support the military coup since all it offered was a chance to replace Mugabe with another dictator, Mnangagwa, at the expense of perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship itself.
The people would have been better advised demanding the implementation of the democratic reforms to ensure free and fair elections. ED 2030 Agenda is once again offering the short term gain of stopping Mnangagwa extending his stay in office but at the cost of Zanu PF rigging the 2028 elections and extending the dictatorship or be it with a new dictator.
The Zanu PF dictatorship is comparable to gorgon Medusa, in Greek mythology, whose lovely hair was turned into living snakes. Perseus severed her head. Zimbabweans are getting rid of the dictatorship by swapping one dictator, snake, one hair, at a time!

ReplyDeleteA concerned resident sent Bulawayo Mayor, David Coltart , photos of potholed Renkini to Ross Camp Road. The mayor responded and promised to investigate. Many residence were duly "impressed". Well, I for one am not impressed!
So Mayor Coltart is going after shoddy road contractor, the Kapenta, but has never ever gone after the sell-out political leaders, the big fish, responsible for the nation's economic and political mess. He and his MDC/CCC fiends have not only failed to implement even one reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections but have been participating in flawed elections to give the regime legitimacy out of greed.
COLTART CAN SEE THE SPECK IN OTHERS' EYES BUT CANNOT SEE THE LOG IS HIS OWN AND FELLOW POLITICAL LEADERS' EYES. HIS HYPOCRISY STINKS TO THE HIGH HEAVENS!

ReplyDeleteZanu PF knows that rigging elections is getting tougher and tougher and even tougher is getting away with it, as they can see happening in Tanzania. Both SADC and AU condemned Zimbabwe's 2023 elections process as flawed and illegal. They have left their marker and so Zanu PF rigging 2028 elections and getting away with it is proving to be the proverbial bridge too far! And yet, this is exactly what the regime is hoping to achieve.
Zanu PF is hoping that by keeping ED 2030 on the national agenda and push reforms and free elections off, the nation will participate in the flawed elections in their millions giving the party legitimacy. Zanu PF is going to do everything just to keep ED 2030 on the national agenda! It is no holds barred!
Are we, the people, going to be smart enough to keep our eyes on the ball - reforms or else refuse to participate in flawed elections to give the regime legitimacy!
@ Blessed
ReplyDeleteYou are not fuming and frothing that I have called Chamisa a liar and conman these last two years. I have denounce the Zanu PF dictatorship for longer than that but you have never complained.
I have called Chamisa a liar and conman because there is a real possibility he is going to lie and con millions to participate in flawed 2028 elections and perpetuate the dictatorship. He must be stopped and I am here to stop him.
You are fuming and frothing because you cannot bear to hear Chamisa called a liar and conman. Well he is a liar and conman and he must be exposed for who he is! Stopping Chamisa conning the nation and perpetuating the dictatorship is more important that saying nothing to message your idiotic and misplaced ego!
CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND CONMAN!
@ John Munetsi Jemwa
ReplyDeleteCHAMISA LIED AND CONNED 2 MILLION TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2023 ELECTIONS. HOW MANY OF THEM DID NOT KNOW THAT CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND CONMAN BACK IN 2023? HOW MANY WILL KNOW IT BY 2028? THE MESSAGE THAT CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND CONMAN IS GETTING THROUGH!
Even the die hard Chamisa chete chete brigade members will be saying "CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND CONMAN!" in their sleep! And during the day, they will not be asking stupid questions like "So what is your narrative going to change the current state of affairs in Zimbabwe?"
Blacks were terrorised during white colonial rule it is most disheartening that the oppression did not stop in 1980. This is just another example of our failure to govern ourselves!
ReplyDeleteThe students were attacked by the men and women who should be protecting them and us all. The students were attacked by individuals who are above the law hence the reason no one has been arrested.
It is a great pity that we failed to implement even one reform and end this tyrannical rule during the 2008 to 2013 when we had the best opportunity to do so. Ending this deeply entrenched Zanu PF dictatorship now is not going to be a walk in the park. We are certainly not going to do so with the same MDC/CCC leaders who are Zanu PF team B in all but name. Why it has taken 25 years for that penny to drop in some people's empty heads beggars belief!
@ The Cool Breeze
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard Chamisa or Mnangagwa come up with a solution? They are the one in public office, why are you not asking them? What solution have you come up with yourself?
As a private citizen my primary task in to hold those in public office to account. Do you know what you primary task is?
