The November 17th Coup: Commemorating Institutional Collapse and the Unfinished Liberation.

17 November 2025

On November 17th, Zimbabweans observe the anniversary of the military intervention that culminated in the forced resignation of the nation's inaugural post-independence President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, just two days later. This event, often termed a "soft coup" or "Operation Restore Legacy," was a moment of profound political rupture, yet it fundamentally exposed the deep-seated decay and complete erosion of integrity within the very State institutions meant to safeguard constitutional democracy.

The Legacy of Institutional Failure and Pervasive Corruption

The immediate pretext for Mugabe’s ouster included allegations of massive, unchecked corruption perpetrated by his inner circle, known as the G40 faction. This period was characterized by the utter failure of critical State institutions—such as the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Judiciary, and law enforcement—to effectively investigate or prosecute high-level graft. Mugabe himself delivered a staggering, if anecdotal, indictment of this failure when he publicly conceded that an estimated USD $15 billion was looted from the Chiadzwa diamond fields—a clear sign that the State was either unwilling or unable to protect national wealth.

Alarmingly, the patterns of systemic corruption and institutional capture have not abated since 2017; indeed, they appear to have intensified. Contemporary examples demonstrate a continuation of national asset depletion at an even greater scale:

•  The Kuvimba Mining Holding Controversy: The alleged highly corrupt USD $1.9 billion deal surrounding Kuvimba Mining Holdings, which reportedly benefited a specific, well-connected individual (Kudakwashe Tagwirei), underscores the continuation of opaque resource management.

•  The "Gold Mafia" Exposé: The 2023 investigative documentary laid bare the intricate network of organized crime, money laundering, and illicit gold trading, illustrating how politically connected individuals can utilize State apparatus for massive private enrichment.

•  Massive Debt Repayments: The process of settling sovereign debt has become an opaque mechanism through which billions of dollars are channeled, often lacking transparent oversight and raising concerns about further opportunities for high-level looting.

Once again, key oversight and accountability institutions are found wanting, demonstrating a paralysis in tackling corruption that mirrors, and possibly exceeds, the situation under the previous administration.

The Succession Trap and Constitutional Subversion

While corruption provided the popular justification for the coup, the core trigger was the incumbent President’s failure to decisively manage the critical issue of political succession. By persistently delaying and avoiding a clear succession plan, Mugabe fostered intense impatience and anxiety among competing factions, ultimately leading those who coveted his office to orchestrate his removal.

Tragically, the current political leadership appears trapped in this same self-defeating paradigm. The spectre of a leader attempting to unlawfully remain in power is resurfacing. Current President Emmerson Mnangagwa, whose term is constitutionally prescribed to end in 2028, is now allegedly maneuvering to subvert the Constitution and illegally extend his tenure, potentially aiming for 2030 or beyond.

In a functional democracy, State institutions—particularly the Judiciary and Parliament—would decisively step in to uphold the Constitution and protect the democratic framework. However, just as in 2017, the institutions tasked with managing a smooth and constitutional transfer of power are proving structurally incapable.

It has gone without comment that one aspect of the coup in 2017 was the profound undermining of the constitution by the courts. The decision by Justice Chiweshe and subsequent defence of the judgement by Chief Justice Malaba that Section 212 of the Constitution should be interpreted to allow the army to enter civilian affairs outside deployment by the President (on the pretext of defending the country or the constitution) has both sanitised the coup and allows the army an unfettered right to mount further coups.

The Root Cause: Conflation of Party and and a unreformed Neo colonial State.

At the very heart of this chronic institutional failure is the malignant conflation of the ruling political party and the State apparatus. Furthermore, the institutional architecture of the party itself, forged by Mugabe’s “one center of power” policy, grants the party’s First Secretary and President near-absolute control. This figure effectively commands all State institutions, rendering them instruments of partisan power rather than non-partisan servants of the public good.

While the military demonstrated its capacity in 2017 to exploit political miscalculation and subdue civilian institutions to remove a sitting President, its intervention did not achieve genuine political reform. The 2017 narrative, promising to "restore the legacy of the liberation struggle"—defined as the supremacy of the democratic vote and the equitable distribution of national resources—initially gave Zimbabweans hope. There was a widespread expectation that the crisis would finally lead to reformed, non-partisan State institutions positioned to serve all citizens, not just the ruling elite.

The Need for a Non-Partisan Transitional Authority (NTA)

The history of political transitions in Zimbabwe—from the 1980 independence, the 1987 Unity Accord, the 2009 Government of National Unity, to the 2017 coup—demonstrates a consistent pattern: politicians have repeatedly failed to steward this mandate for reform. They have proven incapable of dismantling the structures of a neo colonial, captured State and corruption that perpetuate national crisis.

All the underlying conditions and ingredients that precipitated the 2017 coup—rampant corruption, a contested succession, and captured, paralyzed State institutions—are alarmingly present today. Yet, the nation justifiably dreads the violence and further democratic backsliding that another military intervention would entail.

Therefore, the way forward cannot be through another political faction or military maneuver. It is now evident that only a genuinely Non-Partisan Transitional Authority (NTA)—composed of individuals committed solely to national interest, institutional repair, and economic stabilization—can effectively fix our State institutions and render them fit for the purpose of serving all Zimbabweans.

The NTA Caretaker Council, calls upon all Zimbabweans to peacefully and constitutionally demand the formation of a Non-Partisan Transitional Authority as the only viable strategy to avert the threat of yet another unconstitutional power grab and to finally complete the long-delayed liberation of Zimbabwe by establishing a functional, democratic State.

I subscribe to the proposal of a Non-partisan NTA.

Both Zanu PF and the utterly useless MDC/CCC leaders want the 2028 elections to go ahead with no reforms implemented and both are using ED 2030 as cover to draw attention away from the folly of participating in flawed 2028.

The ordinary people will need convincing that ED 2030 is a decoy that will stop Mnangagwa extending his rule but will not stop Zanu PF rigging 2028 and getting away with it because people participated. The people have to understand that result is a repeat of supporting 2017 coup that remove one dictator with another and changed nothing.

Stop people participating in flawed 2028 elections in their 2018 or 2023 numbers and SADC and AU will deny Zanu PF legitimacy and demand a new GNU. Given the fact the 2008 to 2013 GNU failed to implement even one token reform, I believe both SADC and AU will understand why both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders cannot play a major role in the new GNU.

Many of those have been participating in flawed elections knowing full well that Zanu PF was rigging and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. Still they participated because they also knew that Zanu PF was rewarding them with a few gravy train seats. And what is more, the leaders knew all these things!

“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimizing these sham elections which don't deliver. This country will go through a serious economic crisis in 2020 caused by Zanu PF. And yet, this is the only country where a government doesn't perform, it is encouraged by a super majority in parliament,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.

“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2023) elections. The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Chamisa himself lied to the people about “MDC A has stringent measures to stop Zanu PF rigging elections.” in 2018 to con people to participate. He repeated the lie in 2023. Of course, he knew he was lying and he did not even bother to deploy election agents at many of the polling stations even thou he had received donor funds for the purpose. The pocketed the money!

The died CCC supporters are just some of the hundreds of thousands of Zimbabweans who have lost their lives fighting for freedom, justice and economic prosperity for all Zimbabweans only to be betrayed by the nation’s corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical leaders from both sides of the political divide. They all died for nothing as the nation is having to fight for freedom, etc. all over again!

Well, well! The truth is Mnangagwa should be in prison and not in State House. Every day he remains there we are all paying dearly for it!

"17 November 2017 we made a serious national mistake" said Chamisa.

The truth is supporting the 2017 military was a mistake by the ordinary people but not the opposition leaders themselves. They knew what they were doing. They supported the coup knowing fully well that the coup was not going to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship, they did not mind that. All they wanted was a chance to get back in a new GNU and the gravy train. It is an insult to the nation that greed should be confused for mistake.

Besides backing the 2017 military coup was not the only MDC/CCC treasonous betrayal. They have failed to implement even one reform in 25 ears including the 5 GNU years when they wasted the nation's best chances ever to end the Zanu PF dictatorship.

“I personally do not disagree with you on these points about the opposition failing at some point, but l think this point seems to have been said over and over more than enough times, let's leave the failed opposition leaders and talk a way forward to save the people of Zimbabwe.

The leaders you are talking about are not even in the field of play now, it's like talking about a player who has decided to retire from football and you expend your energy talking about a penalty he missed being the reason why the team did not win the league, we have heard but let's talk of a solution now facing the 2028 elections.

Whatever they failed to achieve can never be achieved by the amount of talk about their mistakes.”

Albert Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. In Zimbabwe the nation has participated in flawed elections for 45 years and counting expecting the opposition to win rigged elections. 45 bloody years; that is a bloody long time.

We are not talking of a few individuals being conned to participate in flawed elections because they believed the opposition twat’s idiotic lie of “plugging vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” The twat even evoked the name of God, for Pete’s sake. 2 million believed Chamisa’s idiotic lie. TWO MILLION who, according to Einstein, should be certified insane!

The challenge here is How are we going to stop the certified insane TWO MILLION from participating in flawed 2028 elections because they once again believed idiotic lies! HOW?

I certainly believe these insane individuals have been easily conned to participate in the flawed elections because they did not realise that leaders like Chamisa are corrupt, incompetent, liars and conman. The people have been warned in the past but clearly the penny did not drop. After all for them to be repeating the same idiotic mistakes for 45 years goes to show we are dealing with exceptional ignorant, naive and gullible people with an IQ not much better than that of a garden slug!

Are you now telling me that the certified insane have now been cured because I have warned them of the opposition leaders’ incompetence, etc. “over and over again, it is now ENOUGH.” I have to ask: What makes you so sure it is enough and the mob will be conned into participating in future flawed elections? What have the insane said or done to convince you they have finally learned not to be easily conned?

“The leaders you are talking about are not even in the field of play now,” you said.

If you really are as wise as you pretend to be then you would know that if the 2m brain dead can be con by Chamisa they be conned a thousand others out there. Zimbabwe does not have a shortage of corrupt, incompetent, liars and conmen. So if the 2m can be educated to identify conman like Chamisa, to think and reason for themselves, they will avoid being exploited ever again in future.

The very fact that Zimbabwe has had 45 years of rigged elections shows we are a nation of slow learners. The lessons must be repeated again and again until we learn. The count of how many times the same lesson has been repeated means f-all! And if you have nothing useful to say, f-off!

    "Change in coming!"

The people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect you and your MDC/CCC fiends these last 25 years on the understanding you will deliver the democratic changes the nation was dying for. Please name one single change you have brought in the last 25 years including 5 GNU years.

In 2018 you said MDC A was going to win because the party had “stringent measures to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections.” Zanu PF blatantly rigged those elections - the very thing you said would not happen.

Five years latter, 2023, you once again conned the people to participate in flawed elections with yet another idiotic lie. "I have plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!" you said. Zanu PF again blatantly rigged those elections and participating only gave the regime legitimacy.

You and your MDC/CCC fiends are Zanu PF team B in all but name; you play for team A to win and have legitimacy. It is a great pity that millions of Zimbabweans have yet to wake up to who you and your MDC/CCC fiends really are.

Having millions of ignorant, naive and gullible voters who are easily conned is one of Zimbabwe's curses because the gullible millions are now holding the nation to ransom. You aim to con the gullible voters to participate in a flawed 2028 elections just as you have done in the past. Educating these voters is a tough challenge - they are mentally challenged!

HE CONNED 2M TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2023 ELECTIONS TO GIVE ZANU PF LEGITIMACY AND THUS PERPETUATE THE DICTATORSHIP AND THE NATION'S SUFFERING.

HE IS GEARING TO CON MILLIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2028 ELECTIONS AND FOR THIS REASON HE IS MRE THAN A WASTE OF TIME, HE IS DANGEROUS AND IT WOULD BE IRRESPONSIBLE LET HIM GO UNCHALLENGED. HE MUST BE STOPPED BY MAKING SURE PEOPLE KNOW HIM AND HIS FIENDS FOR WHOM THEY REALLY ARE!

There were as many as 130 political parties in 2018, that did not stop Zanu PF rigging the elections nor the village idiots participating to give the regime legitimacy! But then if you are a simpleton to whom forming a new political party is the only thing you can think of of course, you will call for a new party!

Chamisa is forming a new political party, the Blue party, (he will soon run out of the visible spectrum and go to infra-red, X-ray, alpha particles, etc., etc.) so you will be thrilled to bits! Being a simpleton has its own advantages.

It is a great pity that we have given the right to vote to simpletons, there are millions of them in Zimbabwe. Chamisa has conned them to participate in flawed elections again and again with idiotic lies, new party names and regalia, etc. And the village idiots are now holding the nation to ransom!

"Form your own party!" That is all they can say because that is all they can think of!

“Then came the Tagwirei-Chiwenga feud, the civil war inside ZANU PF’s succession race — a war fought through whispers, proxies, paid tweets, and memoranda that read like failed spy novels.

Mliswa, who never misses a chance to insert himself into national crises, picked a side early. He defended Tagwirei with the zeal of a paid influencer and condemned Chiwenga with the enthusiasm of a man anticipating a reward. And sure enough, he was noticed. Hired. Equipped. Financially lubricated.

Overnight, Mliswa became the official attack dog tasked with eliminating the Chiwenga factor from the succession matrix.

The timing was perfect: Chiwenga had confronted Mnangagwa and the Politburo with a dossier so detailed, so forensic, and so incriminating that it made Command Agriculture look like petty theft. The document spelled out exactly how Tagwirei and a cartel linked to the First Family siphoned billions through state projects. No one refuted it. Not even those whose names featured prominently.”

One of the most obvious, it stick out like roasted finger, contradictions is that Mliswa is attacking Chiwenga for being corrupt and incompetent when Mliswa himself is just as corrupt and incompetent. The joke is on the millions of Zimbabweans who have been conned into supporting Chiwenga in this Zanu PF hyena clan fight for power. The mob are backing Chiwenga because he is fighting corruption, they say. Yes, he is because it suits him, for now.

Of course, if Chiwenga was to win power, he would revert back to being corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical so fast it will make the wildebeest mob’s heads spin. This is exactly what happened during the 2017 military coup; it is just that the mob never learn!

You are still failing to grasp the reality here (you are just a nincompoop, after all)!

Zanu PF would be history by now if Chamisa & co had implemented the democratic reforms or stopped participating in flawed elections to give the regime legitimacy. How many times have I said "MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in all but name; playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy."

Only an idiot like you would then call me a Zanu PF goon when Zanu PF team B is there!

  11. One of the reasons why Zimbabwe is a failed state, stuck in this rut, is because Zimbabweans’ understanding of issues is so superficial they end up celebrating 17 November 2017 Dzungu Day, when they should be hanging the heads in shame and solemn reflection. It is hardly surprising then the nation is repeating the same folly of 17 November 2017 by supporting Chiwenga. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

There really is nothing to celebrate “National Mistake Day!” Unoudza anii!

If you failed to realise that the choice of Mugabe or Mnangagwa was a false choice just as a choice between a cobra or black mamba is a false choice to a mouse. The mouse would choose to escape, to live - that is thinking outside the box. Alas! There are some human being who are incapable of that fit of intellectual gymnastics.

The 2017 coup was a choice between Mnangagwa or Mugabe, one dictator for another, cobra or a black mamba. The nation was fighting to implement the reforms just as the mouse’s fight was to live. The appearance of the cobra and black mamba will not distract the mouse whilst it pick one from the other strangely the military coup offered the replacement of one dictator with another and that was enough to distract some people from the fight to end the dictatorship.

The factional war between Mnangagwa and Chiwenga has once again drawn some people’s attention away from fighting to end the dictatorship. Some people never learn!

"Blacks are incapable of self rule," argued Ian Smith. One way employed by the white colonial rulers to deny the blacks meaningful political power was by denying them economic power. The whites kept the blacks poor and powerless.

45 years after independence the black regime has too used the same dirty tactics of denying the ordinary blacks all meaningful economic empowerment for selfish political reasons.

There are three types of people in this world, the idiots, the tribesman and the citizens. Zimbabwe's leaders have never performed above the tribesman mentality, the only politics they know and understand is dominate or be dominated, and little wonder we are a failed state.

"The problem is there are no bankable options presented by those possessing an alternative viewpoint. The best way to criticise the existing is by presenting a convincing bankable alternative - the people will rally behind anyone that talks sense. We can’t make sense by just criticising without offering something and providing HOPE."

The people rallied behind Nelson Chamisa in 2023 because they believed that CCC was going to win big because Chamisa had plugged all vote rigging loop holes. Many of them still refuse to accept that Chamisa lied to them and conned them to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. This was not the first time Chamisa lied to them and conned them.

The people have been warned countless times of the sheer folly of participating in flawed elections but they would not listen.

To argue that people believed Chamisa and participated in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering is just as flawed as it is baseless. If these people did realised that Chamisa was lying to them and that participating would perpetuate their own suffering then they would NOT have participated. No one can be THAT stupid as to seek to perpetuate his/her own suffering.

The real and rational explanation is that these people believed Chamisa's idiotic lies and participated believing CCC would win big. The very fact that they have believed these idiotic lies again and again - proof they are easily conned - is the problem we must deal with.

These people believe Chamisa, a corrupt, incompetent a liar and conman IS THEIR BANKABLE OPTION. They have a personality cult mentality and so think Chamisa is a demigod. The task is to convince them that Chamisa is a mere mortal - get on with it!

Of course, it is mission impossible to tell some one else that Chamisa is a liar and conman if you believe Chamisa is a demigod!

“Yes he lied so what? All politicians lie. It’s part of the game. It’s like a striker who dives in the 18 area in order to win a penalty kick. The player might get the penalty or not. So Chamisa didn’t win, but that shouldn’t be a daily chorus since 2023, you’re still on it. Be a grown up man.”

How naive! Chamisa conned millions of Zimbabweans to participate in a flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering out of greed. He knew what he was doing. He did not even deploy election agents, for Pete’s sake. He got the money for the agents and pocketed it.

There is a mountain of evidence to prove that Chamisa & co. are Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy. Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con the people to participate in the flawed elections. Of course, Chamisa is corrupt, incompetent, a liar and a conman. You are denying all this only because you have a personality cult mentality. To you Chamisa is a demigod who can do no wrong.

How anyone can consider a mere mortal a demigod in this day and age beggars belief. Fcuk me! No wonder we are a failed state!

We really have a tough task ahead, stopping these brain dead Chamisa chete chete brigade being conned to participate in flawed 2028 elections to give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy is clearly going to be tough. When you have a personality cult mentality, you are brain dead, you cannot think or reason for yourself.

Still some common sense will have to be hammered into these empty heads. Zimbabwe cannot afford to give legitimacy to another Zanu PF rigged elections because the brain dead mob was conned yet again. The message must be hammered home without failure. Use the sludge hammer, damn it!

The rainy season is upon us and already many of our roads, including the major roads like the Bulawayo to Victoria Falls Road, are impassable. Zimbabwe is a failed state and decades of neglect means basic infrastructure like roads are in varying stages of rot and decay and it shows.

Many people cannot understand why Mnangagwa and his cronies are squandering millions of dollars buying new cars and other luxuries but are failing to maintain basic infrastructure like roads. The personality cult mentality can be so thorough where there should be a forest of brain cells and spider web of interconnections there is now a Sahara Dessert. You believe Chamisa is a demigod who can do no wrong, that has been hard wired in your brain and no amount of evidence will ever change that.

Mwonzora did not field candidate in many of the parliamentary seats in 2023 and so he did not deploy election agents in all polling stations. He was a senior MDC A leader in the 2018 and has since confirmed that the party did not deploy election agents then. CCC leaders like Chalton Hwende and Chamisa himself have said CCC did not deploy elections agents in all polling stations in 2023. Are you saying CCC deployed elections agents at all polling stations?

The ancient Greeks were right, the right to vote and hold those in public office to account in a democracy must be the preserve of those who are educated, knowledgeable, objective and diligent. In short, those who can think and reason. Some one with a personality cult mentality is incapable of any of these things.

Zimbabwe’s curse is that we have millions of individuals with a personality cult mentality and we have given them a voice and a vote. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. We have participated in rigged elections for 45 years expecting the opposition to win, come 2028 we will make it 48 years.

Of course, those with a personality cult mentality do not see the sheer madness of 45 years of participating in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering. They struggle to distinguish their right hand from the left and all events, no matter how significant, more than a few weeks old are wiped out. They brain has ossified into fatty tissue, they have very few memory cell left!

No wonder we are a failed state. The 2m conned to participate in 2023 cannot accept a simple reality that Chamisa is a liar and conman. He is gearing to con them yet again in 2028!

"Those who are not with us, are against us!" is the underlying political ethos in many African countries. In Zimbabwe Zanu PF has imposed it with murderous zeal the party has made it impossible for meaningful democratic debate and discourse to exist. Impossible, I said!

"Those who are pushed out often circle back, seeking re-entry, contrition, or forgiveness. Even some who once bore the scars of opposition politics fighting for democracy have now boarded the gravy train.” commented Phillan Zamchiya.

Zimbabwe had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms and dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. MDC leaders sold out and the opportunity was wasted. We need to create another opportunity to implement the reforms or we are doomed! Doomed, I said!

Some one has been kind to warned greenhorn to Zanu PF dirty politics, Kudakwashe Tagwirei, not to close both eyes in prayer. "You may wake up in India!" The photo of greenhorn with both eyes closed was juxtaposed with that of Mnangagwa praying with one eye open!

"I have repeatedly warned that 2030 is being used as a political decoy to distract both General Chiwenga and the opposition. They will chase shadows while Mnangagwa and his allies plan, consolidate, and manoeuvre." warned Journalist Hopewell Chin'ono.

After 45 years of rigged elections Mnangagwa is using ED 2030 to draw the nation's attention from the political reality that he is gearing to rig 2028 elections and, if we are not careful, will get away with it yet again! WATCH OUT ZIMBABWE!

Is it normal that a nation can participate in flawed elections for 45 years and counting to give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the ordinary people’s suffering? This is the big issue before the nation.

I believe the surest way to stop Zanu PF rigging 2028 and getting away with it is by making sure Chamisa does not con millions of his brain dead followers to participate in the flawed 2028 elections. Convincing 2m brain dead followers will take a lot of repeating the same message and hammer it in. You do not approve of that! Frankly, I do not give a damn. I am not here to massage your misplace ego!

Chris Mutsvangwa, you flatulent nincompoop, the root cause of the xenophobia attacks is Zimbabwe's failure to govern ourselves. Millions of our people have been forced to leave the country to escape the economic hardship and political repression. We cannot pretend that millions of our people forced to seek basic services such as healthcare and education in other lands have not caused social tension.

A parent who cannot provide for his own family and has to look to others to provide for the family is a failed parent. Worse still if the parent is wasteful and irresponsible.

Is it Chitepo School ideology that Zanu PF must rig elections?

Zanu PF thugs should know that they do not have the divine right to rig elections. The mandate to rule Zimbabwe must be from the people given in a free, fair and credible elections.

"Zimbabwe's greatest export is not gold, diamonds, lithium, tobacco on any of the other natural resource; it is human intelligence!" There is truth in that!

So if we are exporting most of our skilled men who the hell is building the nation "brick by brick"? The truth is Zimbabwe's infrastructure is in varying stages of rot and decay. We are failing to maintain the infrastructure we inherited from the whites after independence in 1980 much less add new infrastructure.

Look at the Bulawayo -Victoria Falls Road, we are having to rip off the whole road and build it afresh because we failed to maintain. Having rip it up the regime is now struggling to rebuild. The nation has been promise the road will be rebuilt by end of 2026 - "totenda dzamwa dzesera nebenzi!"

Meanwhile the men and women who could be building the nation are forced to leave the country to escapr the economic hardship and political oppression. Zanu PF thugs rule the roost, they rig elections and are accountable to no one. What a nightmare!

This is just the barking of a seasoned sycophant! Who in Zimbabwe loves Chiwenga, a corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and murderous thug?

Chiwenga has fallen out with his fellow Zanu PF thugs over who is to rule and his condemned corruption to win the support of the naive and gullible. Of course, it is foolish to consider him squeaky clean. We do not want to repeat the folly of 2017 when we replace one dictator with another. We want to replace the Zanu PF dictatorship with a healthy and functioning democratic system of government.

The real and only test of whether or not a leader is popular is that he/she MUST win majority votes in a free, fair and credible elections. When did Chiwenga ever win a free, fair and credible elections?

Zanu PF has made a big song and dance about its Hebert Chitepo School of Ideology, all party leaders are forced to attend. Ironically, the party has failed to hold free, fair and credible elections in 45 years of the nation's independence. So what exactly is taught at this school?

Hebert Chitepo and many of the nation's true national heroes and heroines who fought and died for freedom, liberty and human dignity for all Zimbabweans must be turning in their graves to see what this country has become - a text book failed state. Chitepo must be particularly upset to see his name associated with the very evil he fought against!

“Ramaphosa Issues Final Warning To Zimbabwe | SADC Shocked” reported Inside Africa Network. Part 1. (Part 2 streamed tomorrow 23 November 2025)

Zanu PF has never ever held free, fair and credible elections since the country's independence in 1980. The only time the nation came close to holding free elections was in 2008 when SADC leaders had put a lot of pressure on Zanu PF to implement many democratic reforms . However before the election results were declared Mnangagwa, Chiwenga and other Zanu PF thugs stepped in hijack the whole election process.

SADC once again intervened, denied Zanu PF legitimacy and forced the party to accept the 2008 to 2013 GNU whose primary purpose was to implement all the democratic reforms to end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance.

Alas Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC fiends, who were entrusted the task of implementing the reforms, turned out to be corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless. Mugabe bribed them with trappings of power and the rest is history.

The announcement that President Ramaphosa is demanding free and fair elections in Zimbabwe is the best news ever for Zimbabwe. If the opportunity is not once again wasted, this is not a game changer but game over for Zanu PF!

Zimbabweans are a very spiritual people and the nation's predatory political leaders have exploited this. Both Mnangagwa and Chamisa have conflicted religion and politics, party and state. Both have again and again claimed to be divinely inspired and yet again and again the claims have never been fulfilled.

As we search for democratically accountable leaders we must first disentangle religion from politics. We want leaders whom we can hold to account and not failed leaders hiding behind #Godisinit! God is NOT in any of Chamisa’s hare-brain schemes and lies, for example! So why is he evoking the name of God!!!!!

The concept of democracy as a government of the people by the people and for the people, were to holding public office are elected by the people to serve the people and are accountable to the people is alien to people whose instinct is to hold those in public office not only as leaders but demigod who can do no wrong.

Both Zanu PF and MDC leaders sold out for various selfish reasons.

The real challenge for SADC leaders is how will they know that Zimbabweans will finally implement the reforms this time. It is incumbent on all thinking Zimbabweans outr there to make sure SADC leaders know that Zimbabweans know why the first GNU was a failure and that it will not happen again. How many times and over how many years were Zimbabweans warned of the sheer folly of participating in flawed elections, “so flawed, so illegal that the only logical step is to withdraw”, as David Coltart aptly put it? I consider both to be buffoons and reject them. It is foolish to suggest that in a nation of 15 million there is no one better than the two buffoons!

CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND A CONMAN! The message will be hammered home, like it or not!

"Other than these, whom do you recommend now so that we are able to test his political will power."

Are you refusing to accept that Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes because "there is no alternative" or is there some other underlying reasons? Such as your personality cult mentality, for example!

The very fact that some one, in this day and age, refuses to accept that Chamisa is a mere mortal and insists that he is a demigod, speaks volumes of the intellectual damage behind it all. Here is some one whose brain has ossified into fat. Man is a creature of reason but not when brain tissue has turned into fat!

When you insist Chamisa is a demigod and ignore all the evidence of him lying, conning people, etc., etc. that is proof you are incapable of discerning reason, truth and reality. You cannot think for yourself. Your brain has ossified!

You believed Chamisa’s idiotic lie about plugging vote rigging loop hole and were conned to participate in flawed elections not because you had no alternative. You believed the idiotic lie precisely because you did NOT comprehend that it was an idiotic lie.

You believe Chamisa is a demigod because you do not have the intellect to comprehend his lies, betrayals, etc., etc. You are a moron!

Zimbabwe is cursed in having millions of morons just like you Tich and to crown it all we have given you lot a voice and a vote! And now the morons are holding the whole nation to ransom by keeking buffoons like Chamisa and Mnangagwa in power.

It will be easier for a camel to walk through an eye of a needle than for a nation with millions of morons to be a healthy and functioning democracy. The morons are too easily conned to do foolish things like participating in flawed elections to keep the vote rigging thugs and their corrupt but useless opposition sidekicks in power!

Zimbabwe would be a much better place is morons like you, Tich, and your demigod Chamisa, were never born! Stopping you lot participating in flawed 2028 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship is the greatest challenge before this nation.

As long as you believe Chamisa is a demigod, you will participate! This is why the message that Chamisa is a liar and conman must be hammered home.

Zimbabwe is a failed state. All the evidence why we are a failed state is there and so too is the solution as to what we must do to get out of this mess. Our problem is a simple and yet profound - we do not the people with the intellect co comprehend the evidence and solutions nor the courage to implement them.

Man is a creature of reason but, alas, it is not all who apply themselves and put their talents to good use!

As I said Zimbabwe would be a better place if nincompoops like you were never born. You do not even have the common sense to acknowledge an obvious truth that Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop- holes. There are some things the nation can be arguing over - not obvious truths!!

    Yudi's video

After 45 years of rigged elections our collective decision right now should be to put and end to this madness once and once for all. We did have the opportunity to do this during the 2008 to 2013 GNU and we wasted it.

All we must do now is stop the madness of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Sadly even that common sense position is a bridge too far for the treasonous opposition and their brain dead supporters!

“You are always dwelling on sentimental issues instead of bringing solution to the failed state as you have always said.

You are nor a solution builder.”

And Tich, the solution builder, you are denying that Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con millions to participate in flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy because you believed it was a solution. You do not want it to be cause that Chamisa is a liar and conman because you want him to con the nation into participating in the flawed 2028 elections tonne again give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship. You really are scum!

How is it possible that anyone can be so shallow thick and slow? Fcuk me!

CHAMISA IS CORRUPT, INCOMPETENT, A LIAR AND A CONMAN. PEOPLE MUST NOT BE CONNED BY THAT SCUMBAG AND HIS NINCOMPOOPS TO YET AGAIN PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2028 ELECTIONS TO GIVE ZANU PF LEGITIMACY AND PERPETUATE THE NATION’S SUFFERING!

IT IS INSANE TO PARTICIPATING IN A FLAWED ELECTION SO FLAWED YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE RESULT, ONE; TWO, THAT PARTICIPATING WILL GIVE VOTE RIGGING ZANU PF LEGITIMACY; THREE, GIVE SELLOUT OPPOSITION SOME GRAVY TRAIN SEATS HENCE THE REASON THEY ARE CONNING THE PEOPLE; FOUR, MOST SIGNIFICANTLY, PERPETUATE THE NATION’S OWN SUFFERING; AND FIVE, AFTER 45 YEARS OF RIGGED ELECTIONS THE PENNY SHOUD HAVE DROP.

HOW ANY ONE CAN STILL BELIEVE PARTICIPATING IN FLAWED ELECTIONS IS A SOLUTION, AFTER 45 YEARS OF RIGGED ELECTIONS, BEGGARS BELIEF. ALAS! THERE IS SCUM AND NINCOMPOOPS WHO DO, MILLIONS OF THEM!

So you think he did the nation a great favour conning millions to participate in flawed elections only to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering?

"Benzi ibenzi, harizivi hupenzi bvaro. Imi vamwe ndimio mutambura nehupenzi bvaro!” (Fools do not comprehend their folly and so do not suffer the consequences of their stupidity the same way those who see it do!) so goes the Shona adage.

Chamisa is a liar and a conman and even now with the benefit of 25 years of betrayal by MDC/CCC leaders there are some fools who still consider him a hero. Nation get the government they deserve, we have millions of fools and they are holding the nation to ransom.

"Mavekunzwa manyoka nekuti avekudzoka muring mkomana ka ....
Munomama chete nekushaiwa hope!" There is no reasoning with such a fool!

“Since you're the only one who seems to know it all, and everyone else is brainless, who are you appealing to team up with for change…

Seems like a cry in the wilderness; until cows come home.”

In 2023 Chamisa told the nation that he had plugged the vote rigging loop holes to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. “I am preparing my cabinet. It is God’s plan for CCC to win big. And God’s plan will not fail.” he said.

Chamisa was certainly not “crying in the wilderness, until the cows come home,” to borrow from you. 2 million Zimbabweans heard him, believed him and they participated in the flawed elections and ignored the warning from people like me of the sheer futility of doing so. If you had any working grey stuff between you ears then would not only be admitting that Chamisa lied and conned the nation but better still will be joining me in waring the nation of the folly of believing a liar and conman like Chamisa. Sadly, no such luck!

Zimbabwe is a failed state, for many reasons, and top of that list is because we have ignorant, naive and gullible voters; so naive they easily conned to do stupid things by even brain dead individuals like Chamisa and Mnangagwa. Democracy demands that the people must be educated, knowledgeable, objective and diligent if they are to fulfil their sacred duty of holding these in public office to account. People like you, Obie, have the voice and the vote and yet have none of these qualities. None!

What matters here are the votes, you and the 2m are the ones have the political power and, per se, “know it all” NOT me. No doubt you will be teaming up with you fellow wise men and women to participate in flawed 2028 election to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship.

(Poor Zimbabwe! Th destiny of the nation is now in the hands of the nincompoops!)
