The overwhelming majority of the Zimbabwe electorate have always followed leaders blindly, their understanding of issues at stake has always been superficial at best.
Zanu PF 's all-night vigils, "pungwe", of singing and slogans, more slogans and more singing, were meant to brainwash the people and not to educate them. The people as conditioned to follow ask no questions asked!
Whereas the ancient Greeks saw the need for citizens to be educated and actively encouraged to learn by asking questions and freely express themselves and freedom of association for democracy - government of the people, for the people and by the people - to work. Mugabe and is cronies wanted Zimbabwe to be a totalitarian autocracy, a one-party dictatorship, in which one man enjoys absolute power. “One man, one vote!”, freedom of expression, free media, etc. were all thrown out of the window for autocracy to work!
As much as Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends were elected on a ticket to deliver democratic change they too embraced the Zanu PF political culture of singing and slogan and brain washing. the Chamisa chete chete brigade members are just as brain dead as the hard core Zanu PF supporter.
During the 2008 to 2013 GNU when MDC leaders had the best opportunity to implement the radicle democratic reforms the nation was dying, they failed to implement even one token reform. Instead of pushing for free and independent media and freedom of expression, for example, all Tsvangirai demanded was that the Zanu PF controlled public media should stop calling him a puppet. The did for a few weeks!
Chamisa conned his brain dead followers to believe he “plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. CCC win win big. He had started setting up his cabinet. #Godisinit!” It was an idiotic lie because Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the elections. There is no greater idiot than he who will close their minds to deny what they can see with their own eyes!
Zimbabwe is a failed state because for 45 years and counting the nation has been stuck with this corrupt, incompetent and murderous Zanu PF dictatorship. The nation has had many opportunities to end the dictatorship especially during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Ending the Zanu PF dictatorship is now dependent on the nation finally waking up to the reality that MDC/CCC leaders long abandoned their set task of implementing the reforms; they are Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy!

According to ZEC 2023 election results:
E D Mnangagwa of Zanu PF polled 52% of the votes
N Chamisa of CCC polled 44% of the votes
9 other presidential candidates 4% of the votes
It is obvious in terms of the election process Mnangagwa and Chamisa are the dominant players with 52% and 44% of the votes respectively and so their names are often mentioned.
In this case, the opposition are participating in flawed elections, knowing fully well that Zanu PF is rigging and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. The opposition conned the people to participate with idiotic lies of the opposition winning rigged elections. Even the garden slugs amongst us KNOW the opposition are guilty of greed and lying.
When it comes to sharing the guilty of greed and lying the slugs want their leader’s name mentioned last even thou he has 44% of the votes compared to the others with 4% amongst them. As far as the garden slug is concerned we cannot name Chamisa until we have named all the other opposition leaders. Of course that is nonsense, we will name Chamisa for obvious reasons and let the slug fume and froth!

How can anyone be so shallow, thick and slow! There is a mountain of evidence that MDC/CCC leaders ARE Zanu PF team B, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy and yet you continue to deny it.
It is a historic fact that MDC leaders failed to implement even one token reform during the GNU because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office. With their snouts in the feeding trough they forgot about the reforms.
Chamisa knew that without even something as basic as a verified voters’ roll, Zanu PF will rig the 2023 elections. He did not even deploy election agents at all polling stations even thou had had received the funds for it. He knew this was a lost cause. Zanu PF blatantly rigged the 2023 elections.
MDC/CCC leaders like David Coltart have confessed they have been participating in these flawed elections to give the electoral process “credibility” and thus give Zanu PF legitimacy.
“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
SADC, AU and all the other election observers have condemned the 2023 Zimbabwe process as flawed and illegal.
“The SEOM (SADC Election Observer Mission) noted that, as detailed in sections 6 and 7 of this report, some aspects of the Harmonised Elections fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Act, and the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections (2021),” stated the SEOM report.
Chamisa will be conning his supporters to participate in flawed 2028 elections because he has devised strategies to stop Zanu PF rigging.

ReplyDelete76% of Zimbabwe's economy is now informal according to the regime's own reports. It is nonsense to expect the country increase its GDP per capita three fold in 5 years to become an upper middle income nation by 2030.Vision 2030 is just a mirage.

Forget the manifesto, the number one priority right now is making sure that Chamisa does NOT con millions to participate in flawed 2028 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy by telling them yet another idiotic lie of winning rig elections. ReplyDeleteThe Seke road accident was made worse by the very fact that Zimbabwe is a failed state with collapsed infrastructure. 45 years of stuck with a corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship has left the country is economic ruins. As long as Zimbabwe remains a pariah state governed by corrupt and murderous thugs there will be no meaningful economic recovery. There will be more road accidents made worse by the country's economic and political turmoil!
It is within our power to end the Zanu PF dictatorship, if only we would apply ourselves to the task in hand!

Yes we would say “takatsotswa!” if the people had voted for Mnangagwa because they believe the lie. They did not. Mnangagwa rigged the elections. Both SADC and AU condemned the 2023 elections. They would have gone on to deny Zanu PF legitimacy if million of Chamisa’s sup[porters had not participated in the flawed elections.

The biggest mistake we, the people have made these last 45 years, is to let politicians believe they are not accountable to us, mere mortals.
Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes and yet he is adamant that he does not even have to explain anything to the people. As much as he will publicly acknowledge that all leaders are accountable to the people. But since he is anointed by God (he has said so repeatedly and claims God is in everything he says and does), he is NOT like any other mere mortals and therefore is NOT accountable to the people.

Do you know why the people have risked all to elect the MDC/CCC leaders these last 25 years? Why have these leaders failed to implement even one token democratic reform in 25 years when that is what they were elected to do?
If you do not understand why MDC/CCC leaders were tasked to do and have failed to accomplish anything even now with the benefit of 25 years of accumulated evidence, you will never understand anything. It is not all who see who perceive; it is not all who hear who comprehend.
