“Love is the missing essential,” claim Chamisa’s latest WIRES. How does love stop Zanu PF rigging elections? W Mukori

Zimbabwe is a failed state blundering from pillar to post. Why? Well, one of the reasons for the blundering from pillar to post is our failure to pay attention to detail. We blunder from pillar to post very often repeating the same mistakes over and over again because we did not learn from the past.

Detail matters! Detail is everything!

The people of Zimbabwe have risked livelihoods, limbs and even lives to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power these last 25 years on the understanding these leaders would implement the required democratic changes, reforms, to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. The MDC leaders had the best chance to do this during the 2008 to 2013 GNU.

Anyone paying attention to detail KNEW then that the 2008 to 2013 GNU offered the best opportunity ever for Zimbabwe to implement the democratic reforms the nation had been dying for. Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends, the banded mongooses, failed to implement even one token reform in five years of the GNU. Not even one!

Robert Mugabe bribed the mongooses with the trapping of high office; E-Class Mercedes Benz for all the deputy Ministers, Ministers, deputy Prime Ministers and Prime Minister Tsvangirai, generous salaries and allowances all round, a mUS$4 m mansion for Tsvangirai himself, etc., etc. In return the MDC leaders throw the reforms out of the window.

“Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” (MDC leaders have learned to enjoy the gravy train good life, [they will not rock the boat])! boasted Zanu PF cronies when asked why MDC leaders were not implementing the reforms during the GNU.

It is disappointing to note that many Zimbabweans out there had no clue what the democratic reforms were about much less that the primary purpose of the GNU was to implement the reforms. Even now, with the benefit of hindsight many still have no clue MDC leaders sold out big time by failing to implement even one toke reform during the GNU.

Ever since the GNU debacle MDC/CCC leaders have abandoned implementing reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections arguing they have devised Winning In Rigged Elections Strategies (WIRES). They have stubbornly refused to give details of what these strategies, arguing doing so would forewarn the vote rigging Zanu PF.

The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that millions of Zimbabweans believed these idiotic WIRES and were conned again and again into participating in these flawed elections only to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering. It is the failure to pay attention to detail that has made millions of Zimbabweans sitting ducks, conned into one foolish thing after another.

Zimbabweans should have taken MDC leaders to task for failing to implement even one token reform during the GNU. They did not because they had no clue what the reforms are much less that the primary purpose of the GNU was to implement reforms.

When MDC/CCC leaders abandoned implementing in favour of WIRES the people should have taken these leaders to task each time Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections - proof the strategies had not worked. The MDC/CCC admitted Zanu PF rigged the elections but have never ever admitted to having lied about having strategies to stop Zanu PF rigging.

Zimbabwe is a failed state and all because for 45 years and counting the nation has been stuck with this corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship. The regime has rigged elections to stay in power. The curse of rigged elections and bad governance is the number one problem on national agenda - nothing can ever be accomplished until we cure ourselves of this curse.

Will yet another dose of WIRES end the curse of bad governance?

Here is Nelson Chamisa’s latest WIRES offering. "A new nation founded on love - Zimbabwe shall be a new and great nation governed by love, truth and justice, not hate, violence, lies, deceit and corruption," he said. "Love is the missing essential! Love is the foundation.”

The bottom line is Chamisa would want Zimbabweans to participate in the 2028 elections with not even one token democratic reform implemented confident Chamisa and his new political party will win the flawed elections because Chamisa will inject the essential ingredient we have lacked all along - LOVE.

Detail matters and so one must ask Chamisa: How exactly is love going to stop Zanu PF rigging elections? Surely it is insane to participate in yet another election process, “so flawed, so illegal the only logical step is to withdraw,“ as David Coltart aptly put it.

So, it has taken Chamisa 25 years before he realised the new Zimbabwe he was promising the nation up to now had no foundation! All these “#Godisinit!” were all lies because God would never ever be in a hare-brain scheme build a house with no foundation!

Chamisa & Co.’s WIRES are just idiotic excuses to justify participating in flawed elections out of greed. They have got away with these idiotic lies only because the people themselves were not paying attention to detail. WIRES has not worked and will never ever work, we should have the common sense of finally acknowledge that and move on.

Zimbabweans must revert to the original and common sense solution of implementing the democratic reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections. Just because MDC/CCC leaders have sold out on reforms does not mean we do not need reforms and/or that there is no one else competent to implement the reforms.

The immediate task is to stop participating in flawed elections conned to do so by idiotic WIRES lies. If Zimbabweans do not participate in the flawed 2028 elections in their millions as in the past they will deny Zanu PF legitimacy and thus forcing the nation into a new GNU arrangement. This time an attentive populous will ensure all the democratic reforms are implemented.

In 2023 Nelson Chamisa said CCC would win big because he "plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!" He even evoke the name of God. Well, Zanu PF blatantly rigged those elections.

Chamisa is back, he will be asking Zimbabweans to participate in the flawed 2028 elections. This time he will win big because he has "the missing essential" to the 2023 Winning In Rigged Election Strategy (WIRES) - LOVE. "Love is the foundation!" he proclaims!

Love? How will love stop Zanu PF rigging the elections?

After 45 years of rigged elections, with millions of our people now living in abject poverty and millions scattered all over the world; we cannot afford to give Zanu PF legitimacy, give Chamisa & co. a few gravy train seats and perpetuate our own suffering because we believed another Chamisa idiotic WIRES lie!

NonZANU PF is keeping itself in power. How can you ask a person with a Bible in hand to correct someone pointing a gun to you.

What are you talking about? MDC leaders did not fail to implement even one token reform during the GNU because some one was pointing a gun at them. Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office and they forgot about implementing the reforms!

"Ummmm hadzina imwe nyaya kkkkkk. Chamisa plugged all holes to rigging or Chamisa failed to implement a token of reform 🚮🚮 Dzichachema kusvika Jesu adzoka kuzomutsa vakafa ummmm."

All you said is true and I am pleased to note that you now accept is as historic facts. Chamisa did lie about plugging all vote rigging loop holes to con people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. And now he is back to repeat the same dirty trick telling people he did not win 2023 rigged elections because he "missed the essential - LOVE!"

Of course, he is conning people. Love is not going to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. #Godisinit failed to stop Zanu PF rigging 2023 elections and so he is replacing it with #LoveZimbabwe, #LoveGod and #Lovepeople. The twat sold out on implementing reforms, the real cure to rigged elections, and so he is now selling the people hot-air and voodoo! He is not going to get away with it, not this time!

"Do you kno of the abduction and detention of ERC technical team which was a total violation of the constitution and its impact on poll outcome, zec couldnt cook figures with ERC doing independent tabulation and transmission of accurate results it was part of chamisas strategy whilst the biggest strategy was getting pple out to vote and they did so in numbers which were later manipulated. The regime had also heavily invested in disinformation propaganda calling for boycott thru expensive fliers and posters that were scattered in opposition strongholds plus delays in election material. The juicy part is your ties to zanu are so evident in daily nonsense of condemning chamisa and calls for election boycott."

Zanu PF was able to create fictitious voters because the voters' roll was not verified, ghost polling stations, frog match voters to vote for the party especially in rural areas, etc., etc. ERC, focusing on vote count tabulation, was not stopping these vote rigging activities.

Chamisa knew the claim of having "plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!" was just an idiotic lie to hide the real reason for participating was greed. You and your UZA friends participated in the flawed elections hoping to win a few of the gravy train seats, if not in 2023, next time.

No doubt you are itching to participate in the 2028 elections with no reforms implemented. So Chamisa's #LoveZimbabwe will stop the capture ERC and Zimbabwe will have free, fair and credible elections and we will all live happily ever after! How nauseating!

"How are these reforms going to come who should lobby for them? What action should be taken besides boycott for reforms to come?"

Zanu PF bribed MDC leaders to make sure the forgot about implement any of the reforms and ever since the GNU debacle the regime has been bribing opposition leaders to participate in flawed elections to give the election process credibility and Zanu PF legitimacy.

Zanu PF is certainly not lobbying for reforms and will never reform itself out of office.

MDC/CCC leaders are not lobbying for reforms because they do not want to admit the sold out by failing to implement reforms when they had the chance to do so. Ever since the GNU debacle they have been arguing the opposition can win big because they have devised Winning In Rigged Elections Strategies (WIRES).

Smaller opposition parties have been participating in flawed elections for their share of the spoils of power particularly POLAD benefit. Many of them have no clue what the reforms are!

24 July 2023 headline "ED has no room for rigging: Chamisa"

Chamisa KNEW that Mnangagwa was rigging the elections. He KNEW that participating in the flawed elections would give the regime legitimacy. Still he and his CCC friends continued regardless for the same reasons MDC leaders had failed to implement even one token reform during the GNU - incompetency and greed.

Ever since the GNU debacle MDC/CCC leaders have KNOWN that Zanu PF the party would only get away with the failure to hold free and fair elections if it enticed the opposition and their supporters to participate in the flawed elections. And so the party has never ever sought to win more than 2/3 in parliament and 52% or so in the presidential race.

Chamisa needed to tell the lie that “ED has no room for rigging” to galvanised his supporters to participate in the flawed elections. The number of gravy train seats CCC got depended of their participation. He did not care that the whole nation would pay dearly for MDC/CCC leaders’ greed.

Of course, it is right that Zimbabweans should hold Chamisa and co. to account for selling out!

Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes to con people to participate in flawed elections. Zanu PF rigged the elections -proof Chamisa lied. Kok will not deny the elections were rigged but denies Chamisa lied. That is twisted logic common amongst the nincompoops!

Kok is behaving like a nincompoop and must be treated like one! We are not going to be dragged into yet another rigged elections process because Chamisa conned the nincompoops to participate in the flawed elections and allow the nincompoops to get away with it!

  9. Every Zimbabwean must have a meaningful say in the governance of the country. 45 years after independence Zimbabwe is yet to hold free and fair elections.

Both SADC and AU condemned 2023 election process as flawed and illegal.

No meaningful reforms have been implemented since the 2023 elections. 2028 elections must be free and fair. We must end this madness of rigged elections and bad governance.

  10. Very true, this is more so with rule of law where the temptation to deny justice to others is when you are in a position of power and authority is irresistible to some people! The temptation to stop finding the person who balloon you are holding because you have your own balloon is irresistible to some.

Indeed, some would even stop others finding their balloon, if they can! Sadistic swines living in Shake Shake Building for example!

    Hypocrites!

Zanu PF has denied Zimbabweans their freedoms and rights including the right to a meaningful vote and even the right to life. And thus dishonoured the past, present and future.

Zanu PF rigged 2023 elections the 2028 elections must be free, fair and credible - that is not negotiable! Enough is enough!

Alas! Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends sold out. Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office and they, in return, kicked the reforms into the Cactus thicket. Not even one token reform was implemented. Not even one!

The very fact that such a man as Mnangagwa should ever hold the highest office in the land goes to show just how corrupt to the core our political system must be. Mnangagwa must be taken from State House straight to prison in the name of justice and rule of law!

    “THE MONTH OF JUNE

While it is true that man must not constantly live in the past people must also be quick to acknowledge the fact that without knowledge of the past the present can never be understood, mistakes of the past can never be avoided or corrected today and the future can never be planned for.

Change, transformation, advancement, improvement as well as civilisation or lack thereof, are only measurable after a juxtaposition of the past and the present to guarantee a better future.

The month of June will at all times remain indelible on our minds as long as we live. It is an important month on our calender of the struggle for democracy and freedom in Zimbabwe, a month that represents the culmination of ZANUPF's intolerence to opposition and brutality on opposition people in the country.

While some of us now only believe only in the new we will always believe in both the new and the old.”

The trouble is the selective memory! Zanu PF leaders will never allow the nation to forget the brutality of the white colonial rule and their heroic contribution is the fight to end colonial rule. And yet the same Zanu PF leaders are sweeping the barbarism of the Gukurahundi massacre, the 2008 electoral coup, etc. - events we should pay even more attention to since they are the ones dictating the type of governance we have now and will have tomorrow.

MDC/CCC leaders are copying Zanu PF leaders in that they too have a very selective memory. The primary purpose of the 2008 to 2013 GNU was to implement the democratic reforms and put an end to the Zanu PF barbarism of rigging elections and wanton violence. The MDC/CCC leaders remember the Zanu PF violence but will not even admit they role is selling out during the GNU and in conning people to participate in flawed elections out of greed!

The people of Zimbabwe have to fight for their freedoms, rights and human dignity from scratch because both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders have betrayed the nation out of greed. “Takatumira mapete kumukaka!” as one would say in Shona.

Chamisa is the one who failed to implement even one reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections and has been conning people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. Chamisa is no longer fighting in the people’s corner and the people must realise this so they stop helping keep Zanu PF in power. This is not rocket science but with simpletons like you, it might as well be rocket science.

The people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power for the express purpose they will implement the democratic changes, reforms, to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the 2023 elections because no reforms have been implemented.

If you want Zanu PF to stop rigging elections then get new opposition leaders who will implement the reforms, the work MDC/CCC leaders have failed to carry out. You just do not want to admit that MDC/CCC failed because you will not accept that Chamisa is a corrupt and incompetent. He is a demigod to you. Only a nincompoop would believe such nonsense!

Chamisa is a mere mortal and a corrupt and incompetent one to boot. I will not be silenced on the matter by you, a nincompoop.

  19. So CCC was doing its own vote rigging and Zanu PF doing the same or be it the later was losing, according to Chamisa. However in the national election, Zanu PF was the victor! The really question the people of Zimbabwe must ask Chamisa is: you KNEW Zanu PF was rigging and that participating would give Zanu PF legitimacy. Why did you con people to participate?

When MDC leaders failed to implement even one token reform during the 2008 to 2013 GNU the decided to hide their betrayal behind the smoke screen, they pretended they have devised strategies to win rigged elections. They were taking Zanu PF, the master of rigged elections, on his own game. They have lost all elections only to then complain of Zanu PF rigging. No one care to listen to the pathetic complains. No one!

Zimbabweans must now ask themselves how many more years will they allow themselves to be conned into participating flawed elections because they believed the idiotic lies of Winning In Rigged Election Strategies (WIRES)?

The ruling elite have become the law unto themselves and the only thing they care about is their insatiable hunger for absolute power and for wealth. They are looting the nation blind!

We can end the Zanu PF dictatorship by starving it of popular support, by stopping participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate our own suffering. “There is a Shona saying: “Chaunorasa ndechirimumaoko, chirimumoyo chiri muninga,” meaning what’s in your hands can be lost, but what’s in the heart remains protected. This aptly describes Chamisa’s connection with the people—his presence is still felt, even in absence.

He may be off the public stage for now, but Chamisa has already engraved his name in the political consciousness of the nation. His supporters continue to stand by him, seeing him not just as a politician, but as a beacon of hope in Zimbabwe’s ongoing journey toward change.

Courage, faithful allegiance, wisdom and truth; these are time honoured virtues to be valued and cherished like life itself. But faithful allegiance does not include blind allegiance; the later is not a virtue but a vice to be uprooted and cast in the hottest fire!

Nelson Chamisa and his MDC/CCC friends have been on the political stage for 25 years and counting including the 5 GNU years. The people have risked all to elect them into power for express purpose of implementing the democratic changes to stop the Zanu PF dictatorship. They have not only failed to implement even one token reforms but have conned the people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship and the nation’s suffering.

The people’s ignorance and naivety have stopped them understanding what the democratic changes the nation needed were much less to realise that the 2008 to 2013 GNU was the golden opportunity to get the reforms implemented. The people have never blamed Chamisa and company for selling out on reforms but only because they never understood what the reform are. How can they blame MDC/CCC leaders for failing to implement something they top not know!

Chamisa & co. have taken full advantage of the people’s ignorance to con them again and again to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering, Zanu PF has rewarded the MDC/CCC leaders with a share of the spoils of power.

Of course, the people’s continued support of Chamisa & co. is the product of blind allegiance - no one in his/her right mind would knowingly repeatedly do something to perpetuate their own suffering. No one!

“His (Chamisa) supporters continue to stand by him, seeing him not just as a politician, but as a beacon of hope in Zimbabwe’s ongoing journey toward change!” you have said. Please name one democratic change, the milestone passed, he has accomplished in 25 years including 5 GNU years.

Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the 2023 elections and got away with it because 2 million Zimbabweans participated in the flawed elections. They believed Chamisa’s idiotic lie that CCC was going to win because he plugged all Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes.

So you expected your work of brainwashing the people into believing Chamisa’s idiotic lies to be rewarded? He conned the people to participate in flawed 2023 elections with the idiotic lie that CCC would win big because he had plugged the vote rigging loop holes. Zanu PF rigged the elections and got away with it because the people had participated in the millions!

You (CCC leaders) were rewarded with a share of the spoils of power - gravy train seats. Chamisa himself got US$20 m according to Jealous Mawarire.

You (povo) are stuck with the corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship, the biter herbs and the whip!

The people have to open their eyes and see Chamisa and his MDC/CCC cronies for whom they really are - corrupt, incompetent and liars. After 25 years including 5 in the GNU MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform and hence the reason why Zanu PF continues to rig elections. Chamisa will con the people to participate in flawed 2028 elections if they do not snap out of this sloth-like mental slumber!

Tich is quoting Bible verses and praising the blind loyalty to Chamisa to soothe and calm the people into even deeper drunken sleep. Chamisa has moved from #Godisinit to #LoveGod! Religion is the opium of those who will not think for themselves, the predatory ruling elite know that and they are pleased to see that millions are addicted and helpless.

While the initiative is framed as a noble effort to uplift those who contributed to Zimbabwe's liberation struggle, it raises important questions about the nature of economic empowerment and the sincerity of government programs supposedly meant to improve people's lives.

Is this truly empowerment, or is it political patronage repackaged as generosity?

You are attacking Chamisa thinking that it will become truth for Mnangagwa. A lie is a lie no matter it's said 1000 times it doesn't transform to become the truth.”

Here we go! So now you do not know why the people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders all these last 25 years!

By the late 1990s the people of Zimbabwe realised that as long as Zanu PF continued to enjoy the carte blanche powers to rig elections the nation will be stuck with the regime. The nation had two main options:

    a) wage yet another armed struggle to dislodge the dictatorship

    b) or elect opposition leaders whose number one task will be to implement the democratic changes, reforms, to end Zanu PF’s dictatorial powers including the powers to rig elections.

The consensus decision was option b). Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC/CCC friends launched their party promising to bring about the democratic changes the nation was dying for. They even named their party the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).

After 25 years on the political stage, including 5 in the GNU, MDC/CCC leaders have not only failed to implement even one token reform - Zanu PF continues to blatantly rig the elections, as we know. Worse still, they have given up on implementing reforms and have been conning people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship.

MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in only but name, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy for a share of the spoils of power. They do not care that they are perpetuating the dictatorship - the exact opposite of what they were elected to do - and the suffering of the people.

Of course, Chamisa & co. must be held to account for their treasonous betrayal of the people by selling out on reforms.

It is disappoint that twats like you are defending MDC/CCC leaders’ betrayal by pretending you do not know they were elected to do! So you pen-off long articles glorifying blind allegiance to Chamisa but do even know MDC/CCC leaders are now Zanu PF team B? What a twat!

We cannot stop Zanu PF rigging 2028 elections nor can we stop Chamisa and company participating in pursuit of the few gravy train seats. What we can do is make sure the Chamisa chete chete brigade do not participate in their millions as in the past. There are a number of CCC supporters who are beginning to see the sheer futility of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuating the nation’s suffering.

Both SADC and AU have already condemned Zimbabwe’s 2023 election process as flawed and illegal. They know that with no reforms implemented since then the next elections will be equally flawed and illegal and so will know the reason for the people boycotting the elections.

If there is a low voter turnout in 2028 SADC and AU will condemned the process and go one step further and deny Zanu PF legitimacy. Trust me, many African leaders want to see an end to the Zanu PF dictatorship because they can see how disruptive it has been! SA’s ANC will NOT support vote rigging by Zanu PF next time!

“Boycotting election clearly shows that people lack legal understanding, zanu is a party with members under sanctions for undermining human rights, even if you boycott election they won't even care to be under sanctions by imposing themselves as legitimate government because tshabangu and his CCC will contest that elections just to give zanu legitimacy, so if one party from opposition is then to contest and sadc will just endorse that election it's done deal , in 2008 sadc leadership had to tell mugabe that he can't continue to be president of rerun election results so they formed gnu , it will take take sadc presidents to simply reject the outcome of boycotted election which is oxymoron because the present government is junta it's neither constitutional as many thought, the only way is to contest election.”

Sithole and Muzorewa participated in the 1978 Zimbabwe-Rhodesia Internal Settlement elections but that failed to get Smith the international legitimacy he craved. Zanu and Zapu did not participate and these had more public support than the two.

We now want to hear the solutions he will bring on the table to move the country forward. Otherwise, we now see them as forces that want to disturb alternative politics in Zimbabwe. This group for instance is a result of a need to create a platform for national dialogue and to search for a new paradigm. Mnangagwa and Chamisa have failed to move this country forward after each and every election. Elections have failed to bring out a National Consensus so that we can have a working Social Contract that enhances national development. Chamisa on the other hand always refuses to take the results of each election BUT always proceeds to the next election under the same conditions.”

Your analysis is right and I would add one more thing. There are those who have voted for Chamisa in the past because they believed he was the best foot forward. When Chamisa said CCC would win big because he “plugged all Zanu PF’s vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” Millions believed him.

Do these people now accept that this was an idiotic lie since, as we now know for a fact, Zanu PF blatantly rigged the 2023 elections?

This was not the first time Chamisa and company conned millions of Zimbabweans to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy on the basis of idiotic lies of winning rigged elections. And, most worrying of all, he is set to repeat the same dirty trick!

This is the heart of Zimbabwe’s politic paralysis - we have an ignorant, naive and gullible electorate who are easily conned to do stupid things harmful to their own interests! These people should not have the vote particularly in a country where there are so many political vultures whose only interest to con voters for their own selfish political gain.

This is no different from Zanu PF blaming the country’s economic meltdown on sanctions imposed by the West. And yet the economic showed signs of recovery during the GNU years, for example, the sanctions were still in place. Corruption and mismanagement, the root causes of the economic meltdown, were reined in during the GNU.

Zimbabweans have a knack for finding scapegoats for all their weaknesses just to avoid dealing with their problems. The problems have never gone away. Zimbabwe has a dysfunctional government, we have never ever had a healthy and functioning government. From 1980 to 2008 we had a de facto one-party dictatorship.

SADC put Zanu PF under a great deal of pressure to hold what has been the nearest to holding free and fair elections. Alas! Before the results could be announced Zanu PF reverted to their thuggery and blatantly cheated in the vote recount and the wanton violence that followed.

SADC denied Zanu PF legitimacy and forced formation of the GNU whose primary purpose was to implement the democratic reforms and end the scourge of the Zanu PF dictatorship.

Alas! Not even one token reform was implemented. Zanu PF emerged out of the GNU with a compromised MDC opposition, so compromised it has been Zanu PF team B in all but name; playing for team A to win and have legitimacy.

Zimbabwe is a failed state sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss. We need to implement the democratic reforms and end the Zanu PF dictatorship or we are sunk!

  59. I am honoured to have written the forward section of this great book. Grab your copy today. #FearIsGone

    Book Overview:

When We Lose Our Fear... They Lose Their Power is the rallying cry of a generation fed up with silence, control, and manipulation. Inspired by the bold resistance of Gen Z protestors in Kenya, Marcia Weekes delivers a fearless call to action that echoes from the Caribbean to the world.

Fear is not just an emotion. It’s a system. In this powerful manifesto, Weekes exposes how fear is used as a tool to dominate and divide, and how people of conscience can dismantle those systems and reclaim their voice.

This book is for anyone ready to challenge oppression, ignite change, and live courageously. With insight, clarity, and conviction, When We Lose Our Fear... They Lose Their Power is more than a book, it’s a movement.

    Very interesting!

Zimbabwe is the world textbook case failed state. The latest: we have the most expensive internet data in the world. We pay 2x and 14X what the African country 2nd and 10th data charges!

Now you know where Chivhayo get the money to buy the posh cars and Mnangagwa to buy the fleet of cars for Varakashi4ED, Pastors4ED, to pay "housing loans" for judiciary and MPs, etc., etc.

Meanwhile there is no medicine is our hospitals, the economy is sinking and millions are living in abject poverty. How long are we, Zimbabweans, going to allow this madness of rigged elections and bad governance to continue? How long!

Blacks were brutalised by the white colonialist before independence and after independence we have turned on our own fellow blacks. We have failed to put an end to this madness even when we had the golden chance to do so and have even rewarded those responsible for the barbarism.

Ourb failure to deal with the curse of rigged elections and bad governance epitomises our failure to govern ourselves and we continue to pay dearly for it!

Of course, we can and should have ended the curse of rigged elections by now. What we have lacked are the leaders to implement the reforms and the electorate with the resolve to make sure it was done!

It is commendable that Change Radio is remembering some of the many lives lost over the years to Zanu PF politically motivated violence. It should also be remembered that MDC leaders had the golden opportunity to end the culture of political violence once and and once for all during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. They failed to implement even one token democratic form.

Mugabe bribed Tsvangirai and company with the trappings of high office and they forgot about the reforms.

“Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” (MDC leaders have learned to enjoy the gravy train good life!) boasted the Zanu PF cronies during the GNU when asked why MDC leaders were not implementing any reforms.

Indeed, MDC/CCC leaders have not only given up on implementing the reforms but have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering for the same reasons they failed to implement reforms - greed and breathtaking incompetence.

The primary purpose of the media is to educate the people it is sad to note that Change Radio has been brainwashing the people with MDC/CCC propaganda. Change Radio is doing for MDC/CCC what ZBC does for Zanu PF. No wonder we have millions of brain-dead Zimbabweans easily conned to participate in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering!

WHETHER OR NOT WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO PUT AN END TO THE CURSE OF RIGGED ELECTIONS AND BAD GOVERNANCE WILL DEPEND ON WHETHER OR NOT THE CHAMISA CHETE CHETE BRIGADE FINALLY ACCEPT THAT CHAMISA IS A LIAR.

OF COURSE, CHAMISA LIED ABOUT PLUGGING VOTE RIGGING LOOP HOLES TO CON MILLIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN FLAWED 2023 ELECTIONS TO GIVE ZANU PF LEGITIMACY. CHAMISA IS A LIAR AND NOT THE "LEADER WHO PIVOTS ON TRUTH AND TRUE NORTH"!

So you think the Chamisa chete chete brigade were conned to participate in flawed 2023 election KNOWING Zanu PF was rigging, KNOWING Chamisa was lying to them that he had plugged the vote rigging loop holes and, worst of all, KNOWING that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their own suffering. The soldiered on regardless because they had "no alternative"!

"Zimbabwe needs leadership not merely criticism . Without an alternative people will continue with the same script," you argue.

So in 2018, for example, the people chose Chamisa over Nkosana Moyo knowing the former was conning them to perpetuate their own suffering? The more rational explanation will be that the people believed Chamisa's idiotic lies!

As long as Zimbabwe continue to have millions of brain dead Chamisa chete chete brigade members who are so dumb that they will not admit Chamisa lied to them even on a clear cut case like the 2023 elections; there will be no hope of real change in Zimbabwe. If these people do not have the intellect to accept Chamisa lied to them over winning rigged elections, of course the upstart will con them again and again.

The Zimbabwean voters are ignorant, naive and gullible and both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders have exploited this weakness for their own selfish gain. As long as we have a pool of gullible voters there will always be vulture leaders who will take advantage of them.

We already have hundreds of thousands of vulture political leaders fighting for their share of the spoils of the gravy train good-life. Zanu PF will never reform themselves out of office and MDC/CCC leaders will continue to con the gullible voters to participate in flawed elections to earn their share of the spoils of power.

If you are serious about ending Zimbabwe's failed political mould then educate the gullible voters so that they stop the foolishness of participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy, give opposition a few gravy train seats and perpetuate their own suffering.

Democracy will never ever work when the people whose sacred duty is to hold leaders to account are so dumb they conned again and again because they believed idiotic lies. They do not even have the common sense to admit they were conned even in the face of a mountain of evidence to prove it!

The 2008 elections were the water shed elections that exposed Zanu PF rigging, SADC responded by denying Zanu PF legitimacy. Zanu PF was forced to go into the GNU whose primary purpose was to implement the democratic reforms. Why did MDC leaders fail to implement even one token reform?

Elections are a contest which, if the rules are ignored, are rendered a utterly meaningless process. Zimbabwe has failed to hold free, fair and credible elections for 45 years for Pete’s sake. What will it take for the penny to finally drop that empty cup-cake head of yours and make you realise the sheer futility of these meaningless elections.

    “Conclusion 13.3

The SEOM (SADC Election Observer Mission) noted that, as detailed in sections 6 and 7 of this report, some aspects of the Harmonised Elections fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Act, and the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections (2021),” stated the SEOM report.

It is not as if MDC/CCC leaders themselves do not know the Zimbabwe elections are a farce. They know it and they have been participating out of greed as Coltart ready admit.

“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders know that Zimbabwe elections are a blatant denial of the ordinary people’s right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country. They are sharing the spoils of power and that is all they care about. They are taking advantage of the fools like you who have no clue what constitute free and fair elections and are even defending the continued curse of rigged elections. What a flatulent nincompoop!

The irony of ironies is that the country’s economic meltdown and political paralysis have generated even more people desperate for a helping hand, not less.

It is heartbreaking that Gogo Betty Jiri who spent all her active life looking after those who need help the most should now find herself destitute and in need of help. Have we completely lost our humanity!!!!

You hear but never understand, see but never perceive.

You have been told countless times that unless election are free, fair and credible they are a meaningless exercise.

MDC/CCC leaders have admitted it is irrational to participate in flawed elections, so flawed you will never win and, worst of all, you will only give legitimacy to the vote rigging Zanu PF. They have continued to participate out of greed.

As long as people continue to participate in flawed elections and give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy, why would Zanu PF even want to hold free and fair elections. As long as MDC/CCC leaders get a share of the spoils of power they too will continue participating in flawed elections. The onus is on the ordinary people who are being denied their right to a meaning say in the governance of the country to demand reforms to guarantee free and fair elections.

People did not dies “for elections”, you flatulent nincompoop! They died for free, fair and credible elections. “Mobilize ppl to vote in numbers n forget bout reforms cz that ll never happen!” you argue.

How many stories have you heard of the ZEC hoops and huddles urban dwellers have been forced to clear to register as voters? And after all that, they still denied the vote because their name is not in the voters’ roll, or in a voters’ roll 30 km away, or there are no ballot papers, etc., etc. After 45 years of Zanu PF blatantly rigging elections only a nincompoop would still think the opposition can win RIGGED elections.

Free, fair and credible elections are not a privilege which Zanu PF can grant to some and deny others! Zanu PF does not have the right to RIGGED elections. How many times do you have to be told that before it sinks in!

Giving the vote to a nincompoop like you is the worst curse that has befallen Zimbabwe. Both Zanu PF thugs and MDC/CCC sell out know you have no clue what is going on here and they have conned you to participate in flawed elections to suit their own selfish interests. Why has voting in numbers fail to work all these last 45 years? The opposition have failed to get their supporters to register in large numbers because ZEC has made that impossible! ZEC has so many ways of limiting the opposition votes. This is a race the opposition will never ever win because the rules are being changed to suit Zanu PF.

What is needed here is opposition and voters with the common sense to demand that Zanu PF must respect the rules! Alas! We do not have that!

MDC/CCC leaders are willing to participate in flawed elections as long as they get a few gravy train seats. Voters like Shumba are easily conned to give up their right to free and fair elections in exchange for idiotic promise of winning rigged elections.

Zimbabwe is a failed state precisely because the country has failed to hold free, fair and credible elections these last 45 years. Zanu PF has rigged elections denying millions of our people a meaningful say in the governance of the country.

So if Mnangagwa is confident that he is dragging the nation from the economic meltdown of the last 45 years and "No one is being left behind!" then he MUST restore the people's right to a meaningful vote. I challenge Mnangagwa to implement the democratic reforms to ensure 2028 elections are free, fair and credible!

“At what time was Chamisa supposed to withdraw when the game was already on. Chamisa was not the commissioner of ZEC. So why do you waste your weapons to the crows when the geanie fowls are coming. Can you attack Mnangagwa on this one. Trabablas was in power since 1980. They started rigging during the Liberation Struggle when our strong Liberation war fathers were changed and killed. So, you can't compare Chamisa with hard-core rigging machines.”

Your blind loyalty to Chamisa is the stuff of legends! You have the knack for asking some really foolish questions.

Robert Mugabe bribed Chamisa and his MDC friends during the GNU with the trappings of high office, the E-Class Mercedes Benz for all the deputy ministers and ministers (30 plus), 2 deputy Prime Ministers and Prime Minister, generous salaries and allowances for all MDC MPs right up to PM, a US$4 m mansion for Tsvangirai himself, etc., etc. In return the MDC leaders throw all the promised democratic reforms out of the window. Not even one token reform was implemented. Not one!

“At what time was Chamisa supposed to withdraw when the game was already on?” you ask. Only a certified village idiot would ask such a stupid question!

  103. Right! He was fired by the assholes.

In Zimbabwe we have had the misfortune of having one asshole after another in control and all they have done is go on strike at the drop of the hat just to remind us all that they are in power.

The moral of the story is Zimbabwe will never ever enjoy peace and prosperity as long as the assholes, who rig elections to stay in power, remain in control. 45 years after independence and we are yet to hold our first free, fair and credible elections.

Free, fair and credible elections are more that just a right, they are the essence of good governance. When Zanu PF rigs elections that is no different from comrade asshole imposing himself as the one in control. If there was a free, fair and credible elections asshole will get one vote - only an asshole would want to be ruled by one!

YES, SOMETIMES ASSHOLES IMPOSE THEMSELVES BUT AS LONG AS THEY REMAIN IN POWER THERE WILL NEVER BE PEACE AND PROSPERITY. NEVER!

AFTER 45 YEARS OF RIGGED ELECTIONS WE MUST DO SOMETHING TO END THE RULE OF THE ASSHOLES IN ZIMBABWE OR THE NATION WILL CONTINUE TO SINK DEEPER AND DEEPER INTO THE ABYSS!

The ancient Greeks were right, democracy - government of the people, for the people and by the people - only works if the people are educated, knowledgeable and diligent in carrying out their sacred duty of holding those in power to account. Freedom of expression, freedom of association and a free media are key to the education of the people.

In Zimbabwe Zanu PF has captured the media, one of the institutions to be corrupt soon after independence, for the purpose of brainwashing the people with partisan propaganda and misinformation. The public media, both print and electric media, have always served Zanu PF’s agenda of keeping the party in power at all cost - damn the public interest of educating the people and holding leaders to account.

The regime has kept the little private media there is on a very short leash. Mnangagwa boasted of how any media staff who dare hold the regime to account will be punished. “Chibakira muziso!” Blessed Mhlanga can testify to the punching in the eye because he was thrown in jail for nearly two months for daring to let Blessed Geza exercise freedom of expression.

Varakashi4ED Zim Cyber Team’s role is to stifle all meaningful debate and freedom of expression and to brain wash the people with Zanu PF propaganda and misinformation. They are well resourced, Mnangagwa himself is bankrolling the team’s nefarious activities, and they are everywhere!

The Zanu PF dictatorship is deeply entrenched in Zimbabwe society, dismantling it will not be a walk in the park!

There is overwhelming evidence that Zimbabwean elections are so flawed and illegal Zanu PF is guaranteed to win no matter what and that participating will only give the regime legitimacy. Withdrawing and insisting on a free and fair election process is the only logic step.

“It’s because there's little choice ,they have to fight for the little space.”

When Chamisa and company failed to implement even one token reform during the 2008 to 2013 GNU, what “little space” were they fighting for? Mugabe bribe them with the trappings of high office and, in return, they forgot about implementing the reforms. You cannot accept the historic fact and so you ignore it, air-brush it out of existence.

Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes to con his supporters to participate in the 2023 elections out of greed. A number of CCC candidate did win a few gravy train seats and as party leader he was going to get 20% of what ever CCC received in the annual Political Party Finance Act pay out. According to Jealous Mawarire, Chamisa got US$20 million from Zanu PF for his sterling work in getting Zanu PF legitimacy!

You can witter all you want, your wittering will not change the history fact MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in all but name participating in the political game to ensure Zanu PF team A wins and have legitimacy!

“It doesn't work, ZANU will create it's opposition parties that will still contest and give it legitimacy.”

Ever since the 2008 to 2013 GNU Zanu PF has learned that the days of one-party state were over. Whilst the party had no choice but to rig elections to stay in power, it also realised that it will get away with it as long as it entice the opposition and their supporters to participate in the flawed elections.

Political legitimacy is derived from how many Zimbabweans participate in the elections. Yes, Zanu PF can create hundreds of opposition parties to participate in elections but is those parties have only a handful of supporters, as was the case with Mwonzora and Madhuku that was not going to give the election process legitimacy.

Chamisa polled 44% of the votes and the all the other opposition candidate polled 4%. Why anyone can still argue the nine candidate gave as much political legitimacy as Chamisa only goes to show how shallow they are. When you see as a garden slug sees, the mole-hill does constitute a serious obstacle no different from that of the mountain! The worrying thing here is that a human being should think like a slug!

“Some one is paid to discourage vanhu and is in a serious mission.”

Well you have finally got half the message. Yes, Zanu PF has paid MDC/CCC leaders well in the form of trappings of high office to make them forget about implementing the reforms. And ever since the GNU debacle, Zanu PF has offered a few gravy train seats to entice the MDC/CCC leaders to participate in the elections no matter how flawed the process gets.

The MDC/CCC leaders are rewarded for encouraging people to participate in elections no matter how flawed the process gets.

The real disappointment here is how millions have been conned by the likes of Chamisa with his idiotic lies time and time again to participate in these flawed elections. Of course, Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes. The real shock is that whilst the millions accept Zanu PF rigged the elections they will not accept that Chamisa had lied to them about stopping Zanu PF rigging elections. They are so shallow, thick and slow they cannot see the obvious contradiction in holding the two positions!

No doubt Zanu PF is paying many double agents, masquerading as die-hard MDC/CCC supporters, whose mission is to convince the people to give up their right to free and fair elections. Who needs free and fair elections if you can win rigged elections, even after 45 years of Zanu PF rigging the elections.

Indeed, some people now even consider it their right to participate in flawed elections and will not have it any other way! “Some one is paid to discourage vanhu and is in a serious mission!” Fcuk me! I am speechless!

In his book David Coltart made this stunning confession.

So why are Zimbabweans still participating in flawed elections even after 45 years of rigged elections?

When David Coltart confessed that Zimbabwe's elections "were so flawed, so illegal the only logical step was to withdraw and that participating would only give Zanu PF legitimacy" he was being brutally honest. So why is that millions have been conned to participate agan and again to give the regime legitimacy and perpetuate the people's own suffering?

Answer: the confession meant nothing, it was water off the duck's back.and so millions have been participating in flawed elections to perpetuate their own suffering. That is what ignorance does to the ignorant - it makes you, your own worst enemy!

Simba told Ncube the Genesis of Zimbabwe's sell out culture!

It is shocking how easily Mugabe bribed his follow party leaders turning them into yes-man. Margaret Dongo complained of how Zanu PF MPs and ministers all grovelled to Mugabe. “Mose murivakadzi vaMugabe!” she said.

During the GNU Mugabe bribed Tsvangirai and his MDC friends and they forgot about implementing the democratic reforms. "Va zivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!" remarked Zanu PF cronies when asked why MDC leader were not implementing the reforms. Well the Zanu PF cronies were talking from first hand experience, they had learned the same lesson themselves.

The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that all our hopes of creating a healthy and functioning democracy went up in smoke as the first wave and second wave of the men and women the nation had entrusted the task on creating a democratic nation sold out one after another. "Takatumira mapete kumukaka!"

  118. Any teachers who will praise Zanu PF but be doing it under duress and/or must be one of the few benefiting from the corrupt and tyrannical regime. If University lecturers are paid US$250 per month the rest in the education sector will not be any better paid!

Mnangagwa is celebrating that he has beaten the teachers into submission. The tyrant has a sadistic sense of humour!

The tragedy is Zimbabwe's education sector has all but collapsed. Many children who should be in school are not. And those who are at school, are there marking time. It is the norm to hear that the pass rate is down to 3% across the board. What kind of citizens will these ill-educated generation make? More Zanu PF brain dead members willingly singing the praise the tyrannical regime!

The teachers are crying for help, not only for a living wage for themselves but also for the hundreds of thousands of students out there who are being denying the right to a decent education. It is tragic that we have allowed things to sink this far.

As long as Zimbabwe remains a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs who rig elections to stay in power the rot will continue. We have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship. We should stop participating!

    Detail makes! Detail is everything!

Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have not been paying attention to detail. We should! Zanu PF does not have the divine right to rig elections and rule the country.

Every Zimbabwean has the right to free and fair elections. The right to a meaningful say in the governance of one's country is more than a right - it is the essence of good governance. After 45 years of rigged elections and bad governance Zimbabwe is dying for good governance!

You will never get “collective mobilization” when millions believe participating in flawed elections works even after 45 years of Zanu PF rigging elections.

Zanu PF has managed to bribe MDC/CCC leaders to give up on reforms and participate in flawed elections for a few gravy train seats. Get the MDC/CCC leaders and their brain-dead followers will follow!

The MDC/CCC followers are so naive and gullible Chamisa told them Zanu PF would not rig the 2023 elections because he plugged the vote rigging loop holes. The believed him and went out to vote in their millions. The day after the voting Chamisa was telling them that Mnangagwa rigged the elections - the very thing he had said would not happen. And, here is the knock punch, the gullible followers are refusing to accept that Chamisa lied to them. Only some one with a serious intellectual challenge would see nothing wrong with that stance! The people of Botswana have a history of being faithful to ideas and truth where as some of us are so blindly faithful to the leader they consider him untouchable demigod.

Botswana has successfully held free fair and credible elections we in Zimbabwe have failed to do so these last 45 years. Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs sold out on the values of the armed struggle and imposed the de facto one party state.

Since 1999 the people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders into power on the understanding they would implement the necessary democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Mugabe bribed them just as readily as he had bribed his own Zanu PF colleagues and Tsvangirai and company forgot about the reforms.

If you have answer these specific points in the past then I do apologise for having missed your answer. Please bear with me and answer the following specific questions:

Both SADC and AU condemned Zimbabwe’s 2023 elections as flawed and illegal,

    1) Did Chamisa lie about plugging ALL vote rigging loop holes - SADC and AU noted that there was no verified voters’ roll, for example, one big vote rigging loop hole.

    2) Should the CCC leaders who won in that election taken up their seat after SADC and AU had condemned the electoral process?

    3) Should opposition participate in the 2028 elections if no democratic reform have been implemented given SADC and AU have condemned the 2023 elections?
