As CCC leader, Chamisa did act "without democratic oversight". The herd refuse accept this because they are blinded by personality cult. Wilbert Mukori

“Ncube pointed to Chamisa's consolidation of power, describing him as having reduced the party into a one-man show where he held multiple roles including president, spokesperson, secretary general, and treasurer general without democratic oversight.

Speaking recently, Ncube stopped short of labelling Chamisa a dictator but emphasised that democratic governance within the opposition is crucial for its credibility as a democratic alternative to the ruling party. He highlighted issues such as lack of financial transparency, centralised decision-making, and absence of democratic processes at all levels of the party.”

Of course, Professor Ncube is right, in the CCC with no constitution, no party structure and no elected officials Chamisa was at liberty to do as he damn well pleased “without democratic oversight”. And did exactly that! What is disappointing is that his die-hard Chamisa Chete Chete supporters did not see it then and still do not see it today even with the benefit is hindsight. Why?

Blind loyalty!

The MDC/CCC herd support Nelson Chamisa, before him Morgan Tsvangirai, because they wholeheartedly and blindly believe everything he says with that “Comrade Napoleon is always right!” mentality George Orwell described in Animal Farm. This personality cult mentality is such a powerful and long lasting mind mumming drug, some people never recover their mental faculties.

Last year Chamisa told the herd CCC would win big because he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit! This was a blatant lie because CCC was going into the elections without even securing something as obvious as a verified voters’ roll. Chamisa did not even bother to deploy election agents at all polling stations even thou he had received the funding for it. He pocketed the money. And to crown it all, Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections and both SADC and the AU dismissed the process as a flawed and illegal.

Chamisa and his MDC/CCC fiends have been participating in these flawed elections knowing fully well that doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuate the dictatorship and the people’s suffering.

“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes to con the herd into participating in the flawed elections so that he and his friends can get the few gravy train seats on offer as bait. Even after SADC and AU condemned the election process, winning CCC leaders still went ahead and took up their seats claiming they won in “liberated zones”! Nonsense, of course, because there was no verified voters’ roll, for example, in the whole country including the so-called liberated zones.

The herd follow the individual and not the idea, form and appearance and not the substance.

The great Greek philosopher Socrates said  “Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people.”

The weakest minds are those who are so ignorant, naive and gullible they have elevated mere mortals to infallible demigods. Zimbabwe has the great misfortune in having a very significant segment of our people whose ignorance and naivety beggars belief. And, to crown, it all they have the vote - the power to decide the nation’s destiny.

Like it or not it was the participation of the MDC/CCC herd in these flawed elections that has given Zanu PF legitimacy these ten years. Worse still, the herd is set to participate in the 2028 election with not even a token reform in place.

44 years after independence, in this day and age, and we in Zimbabwe are still failing to hold free, fair and credible elections. Astonishing!

No wonder we are a failed state and are doomed to remain thus unless we finally learn that people like Chamisa are not only mere mortals but corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless. And learn to value ideas and details.

“Mukori , why you don’t get tired of this? You keep on repeating same things , if you don’t have anything to say just keep quiet please, because all your messages are the same, from last year till now, we keep on reading same messages.”

It is nice to be a naive, ignorant and gullible nincompoop like you George because life is simple.

Let’s assume you do understand the problem that Zimbabwe is a failed state all because we have failed to hold free and fair elections and thus end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. (It is too much for a village idiot such as you to digest but let us assume you comprehend all that.) Pray, tell me oh wise one how will keeping quiet about Zanu PF rigging elections about MDC/CCC conning the village idiots into participating in flawed elections help solve the problem?

Indeed, I would go so far as to say both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC have taken advantage of the foolishness of those who have opted to say nothing to continue to rig elections and thus drag the nation deeper and deeper into this hell. Only a braindead nincompoop like you would argue that we should all follow the leaders blindly like sheep to the slaughter.

Well I am not a nincompoop and I am here to hammer some sense into that cupcake head of yours. Implementing democratic reforms before the next elections is on the nation’s agenda and will remain there until we hold free and fair elections. I set the agenda and not nincompoops like you, thank God!

If that support is the same np-questioned asked blind support you have given Mugabe, Tsvangirai, Chamisa or Mnangagwa then I do not want your support. I would much prefer to belong to a group of 10 individuals who have the intellect to think for themselves than be party leader with millions of brain dead morons would are so gullible they believe such foolish lies like Chamisa's claim of plugging vote rigging loop holes.

  3. Chamisa is in politics to make money and nothing else. Don't ever think he is interested to be the Pres of Zim. He knows the State House is not for "cheap" people like him. Do you know in 2018 under his watch, 2 million USD vanished from the MDC Alliance's purse with no trace. Don't forget he is the same person who used to supply Gushungo Holdings with trucks while during the day he pretended to hate Mugabe and Zanupf. The guy can do anything for money. Give Chamisa and his close friends the national purse at your own peril. Muchasvinura henyu!!

It is a historic fact that Mugabe bribed the MDC with the trappings of high office during the 2008 to 2013 GNU and they, in return, they throw away all the reform out of the window.

“Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kuday anyerere!!” boasted Zanu PF cronies when asked why MDC leaders were not implementing any reforms.

The fact that MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless is not news no anyone with half a brain and has followed Zimbabwe’s descend into hell-on-earth!

We Zimbabweans are our own worst enemy! We were warned that participating in flawed elections would only give Zanu PF legitimacy and we refused to listen. “I have plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” said Chamisa, another man-of God!

You asking the nation to pray for an end to our suffering. But pray for what exactly?

We can end this double curse of rigged elections and bad governance if open our eyes and acknowledge the reality that MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one token reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections in 24 years including 5 in the GNU. We have been warned repeatedly of the folly of participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuating our own suffering.

We have elected to stuck our heads into the backsides of our leaders and our brains has ossified into fat, impermeable to reason, logic and reality. We just love to find scapegoats for our own shortcomings and so we pray to God to end our suffering for no other reason than to blame Him for not answering our prayers. God does not do for mankind what mankind can do for himself.

We are in this political and economic hell-on-earth because we will not open our eyes and think for ourselves with our heads stuck in Chamisa or Mnangagwa’s backsides. There really iOS nothing God can do for us. We deserve to suffer until we learn that content to bury their heads in leaders’ backsides will suffer and deserve for their foolishness!

    “Same old story everyday.”

Zimbabwe’s problem is 44 years of Zanu PF rigging the elections and, in the last 24 years, with the connivance of corrupt and incompetent MDC/CCC leaders who failed to implement reforms and have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. The only solution here is implement the reforms and stop participating in flawed elections.

It is shocking that village idiots like you are complaining that I I am demanding reforms to end the curse of rigged elections but are indifferent to the reality of yet another rigged elections in 2028.

Reforms and no elections without reforms is going to remain on the national agenda because I said so. Thank God it is not village idiots like you who decide what is on the national agenda.

  9. @ Ibbo Mandaza

Prominent academic and publisher Professor Ibbo Mandaza says Zimbabwe's main opposition leader Nelson Chamisa owes voters an explanation of what happened before, during and after last year's general elections followed by the implosion of his Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) party now captured by the ruling Zanu-PF to dispel rumours that he is a state project.

    Posting on X/Twitter, Mandaza said:
"I believe it's overdue that Chamisa comes clean on the narrative before, during and after the elections in August 2023. You owe the population - especially the 2 million plus who voted for you. - a detailed explanation, to dispel the rumours doing the rounds about your duplicitous conduct, restore confidence in your support base and/or inform Zimbabweans that you're no longer in contention. You owe us all that explanation.”

Chamisa and company have participated in these flawed elections knowing fully well that Zanu PF was rigging the elections and that doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy. Indeed, Nelson Chamisa knew he was lying about plugging all the vote rigging just to con his ignorant and naive followers to participate in their millions.

No amount of repeated washing with the strongest political detergent will ever wash Chamisa and company clean of the fact that the sold out on reforms to end Zanu PF dictatorship out of greed. If I launch my own “authentic opposition party” and enter the public arena promising the nation to do A, B and C. Then the said public have the right, indeed the duty, to hold me to democratic account on my promises.

MDC was launched in 1999 on the promise the party will deliver the democratic changes necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections, as the party name implied Movement for Democratic Change (MDC). 24 years later including 5 in the GNU the party has not only failed to implement even one token reform but has been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuate the dictatorship all out of greed.

Chamisa blatantly lied about plugging all the vote rigging loop holes to con the CCC herd into participating in flawed elections.

Of course, it is the sacred duty of every thinking Zimbabwean out there to only hold Chamisa and his minions including those at Change Radio to democratic account for the treasonous betrayal of the nation these last 24 years. I know Chamisa is taking advantage of the ignorance and naivety of the CCC wildebeest herd, it is the sacred duty to educate the brainwashed mob and rescue the nation.

So you see whether I formed my own party or not Chamisa and his idiotic apologists will still be democratic accountable for selling out! Alas, you are not Ezekiel with the dry bones in the valley.

Why are you obsessed with Chamisa. Chamisa is doing exactly what the people send him to do. If the people say he moves, if they say stop he stopped , if they say come out of that he came out. So how dare you equate him with pungent dictators, rotten to the core.

You are the only one who is angry, the citizens are not angry with what Chamisa did. Haana kumbotengesa. Vakatengesa ndovari kuswero kumutuka pasina ndaa.

Right now if you look at the centre of the arguments you find it's only ZANU PF, You, Tshabangu and The sellouts in CCC which remain, who are sellouts. I can promise you right now if Chamisa say we are meeting The National Sports Stadium would be full to the bream, not Kuzadza kwe Stadium by Pastor Java. I can say, those who are jealous must go and vomit outside.

Chamisa is loved in the centre and breath of the 4 corners of the country. We don't want him to talk so that you have nothing to talk. He should remain quiet and talk when asked to do so, only when it is necessary.

Wachepa Mukori, uchadonha mazino ese mumukanwa uchingo vukura nezva Chamisa. Last year you missed having another child uchingotaura nezvaChamisa. Siyananaye, Siyana naye.”

So Chamisa cannot account for selling out by failing to implement even one token reform and for conning Zimbabweans to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the people’s suffering because that is all in the past.

“Life is in the present and the future not history!” you say. Those who fail to learn from the past are destined to repeat the same idiotic mistakes over and over again.

Chamisa conned his brain dead followers to participate in the flawed 2018 elections claiming MDC A would win because “MDC A has stringent measures to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections.” Of course, he was lying and the herd did not stop to demand that he accounted for the lie. He repeated the same lie again in 2023 and would do so again in 2028!

I agree that Chamisa is “loved” by the CCC herd regardless of the historic fact that he has proven beyond that he is corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless. The love is born out of blind and personality cult mentality which the very antithesis of the educated, knowledgeable and diligent electorate we need for a healthy and functioning democracy.

People are held to account for what they DID or failed to do and not what they are DOING or may do in the future. But then such fine details are way above your intellect. You are a simpleton who can hardly see more than a few inches beyond his nose and only in monochrome. Others see to the horizon and in all the colours of the rainbow. 24. President Emmerson Mnangagwa addressed mounting internal divisions within Zanu-PF during a politburo meeting, urging party leaders to prioritise national economic growth over factional interests. He emphasised the party's constitution-based structure, its history rooted in the liberation war, and the importance of adhering to party rules and ideology.

Mnangagwa stressed the need for unity, warning against factionalism and emphasising collective responsibility within Zanu-PF. He criticised calls from disgruntled war veterans, led by Blessed Geza, for Cabinet and politburo reshuffles, cautioning against disruptions that could weaken the party's unity and stability.

The 1983 to 1987 Gukurahundi massacre was launch under the disguise of restoring peace, unity and to promote economic development. The truth is it was to force PF Zapu, the only meaningful political opposition in the country, to give up its independence and be swallowed up by Zanu PF and thus clear the deck for the imposition of the de facto one party dictatorship that has ruled the country to this day.

Mnangagwa is calling for an end to factionalism and adherence to party rules in the name of unity and stability when he is the one breaking all the rules to consolidated his own hold on power. Unity and stability!

Zimbabwe is a failed state, for Pete’s sake, sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss because of mismanagement, corruption and lawlessness. He is the one who blatantly rigged then 2023 elections squandering over US$5 billion bribing everyone from povo with chicken and chip right up to all the judges with US$400k housing loans (loans every one knows will never be repaid). How any one can see that as unity and stability beggars belief.

Yes Mnangagwa is calling for the rule of law, casting himself in the role of the defender of the law. And meanwhile he continues to ignore and break the law with impunity to advance his selfish interests. In short, everyone must adhere to the law and he is above the law - the hallmark of a tyrant!

One of these fine days, Zimbabweans will write a new constitution, the supreme law of the land. The new constitution must have a stand alone clause stating in no uncertain terms that no one is above the law!

The tragedy is we still have morons like you who think he is a demigod!

“To evaluate the performance of Zimbabwe’s opposition fairly - we have to look at events in the context of an autocratic environment.

I don’t think the opposition has failed at all but recognition of their well won democratic result has always been scuppered by tyrannical systems set and in place precisely for that.”

I have you a simple question: What is the primary task of the opposition?

You are answering why they have failed to perform the task but will not say what that task is.

If you do not know what the primary task is then you should not comment on something you do not know!

Have said it a thousand times: those holding public office are accountable to everyone regardless of whether the individual vote for the leader or not. 44 years after independence and in this day and age one would think this is grade one stuff that every one had mastered.

The truth is if some one is still failing to grasp this grade one stuff it is little wonder they have no clue what the reforms are much less how they are implemented. And this moron had the vote deciding the nation’s destiny on these matters. No wonder we are a failed state!

“Did not Madhuku campaigned here , busha and mwonzora and Linda all they have campaign wani the talk of chamisa is not stupidity of highest order without telling us legality of it , if chamisa had not participated what was the legal implications of the outcome of the elections, when you report make sure that you satisfy the legality of that.”

You have been told the consequences of participating in flawed election is that you will never change the predetermined Zanu PF victory and that by participating you will give the regime legitimacy. The opposition leaders themselves have known this but have soldiered own because they were after the few gravy train seats they knew Zanu PF was offering to entice them to participate no matter what.

Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes to con the ignorant and gullible public to participate and hide the real reason for participating was greed.

Of course, it was sheer folly to participate in the flawed elections knowing that doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate one’s own suffering. It is not surprising that people like you are finding comfort in your folly and suffering and the fact that Chamisa lied to you in arguing that Madhuku, Mwonzora, etc also participated in the flawed elections.

The real tragedy for Zimbabwe is that the country has millions of ignorant, naive and gullible men and women just like you. A healthy and functioning democracy demands that the electorate must be educated, knowledgeable and diligent in their duty of holding those in public office to account.

You, Mataranyika and your fellow travellers, do not even have the common sense to admit Chamisa lied, even now with all the evidence that Zanu PF blatantly rigged the elections precisely because not even one token democratic reform was implemented - forget the plugging of vote rigging loop hole bullshit!

After 44 years of independence, in this day and age, you lot have still not learned what constitute free and fair elections and never will! Sad really that any one can be so shallow, thick and slow. But there you are a living spacemen of stone-age men - evolution in reverse!

  35. So we must not hold Chamisa to account for conning 2 million Zimbabweans into participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy until we hold Chivhayo to account?

After 44 years of rigged elections and the nation sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss you too would want reforms and free elections on the national agenda if you comprehended the reality of our situation. Alas! Not everyone of us has the common sense to see what is going on.

Well reforms and free elections will remain of the national agenda, on my phone as you put it, until we cure ourselves of the double curse of rigged elections and bad governance. Thank God, at least one of us has some common sense!

  37. @ Mliswa

The tragedy here is that we still have individuals like Mliswa who still think war veterans are the only ones who are suffering in Zimbabwe. Indeed the greatest mischief Mugabe accomplished after the war was to brain wash the war veterans into joining the Zanu PF ruling elite in denying the ordinary people their basic freedoms and rights for the selfish purpose of keeping the regime in power no matter what on the belief the war veterans will have a share of the spoils of power.

Temba is in tears denouncing Chris Mutsvangwa in his desperate effort to win favour from Mnangagwa and many of the war veterans the regime has left out in the cold. The truth is many war veterans will live and die in abject poverty because Zanu PF is a failed regime and the war veterans were very foolish in being conned into betraying the common cause of freedom and liberty for all.

Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the 2023 elections making the regime illegitimate and yet people like Mliswa ignore that reality and is singing Mnangagwa’s praises because he, like many other war veterans are now joined at the hip to the corrupt and tyrannical regime. After all Mliswa has, over the years, played his part in the Zanu PF vote rigging and tyrannical oppression of povo and he received his share of the spoils of power. He is desperate to win back Mnangagwa’s favour, so desperate he is grovelling.

Nelson Chamisa lied that he had plugged all the vote rigging loops holes. If you cannot accept this historic fact, how then can you hold him to democratic account for conning millions to participate in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship!

A healthy and functioning democracy demands that the people be educated, knowledgeable and diligent in their duty of holding those in public office to account. Whilst other nations have moved on we, in Zimbabwe, have remained stuck in our ignorance and downright stupidity!

“I understand your concern, it's probably the key and foundation for the end to rigged elections and and end to putting the nation always on Election Mode, may you comrade give us the reforms that we need or the ones you think would help us achieve the above. We have heard all about Electoral Reforms that were supposed to be pushed for implementation by the MDC but failed, but we don't know maybe they also don't know the appropriate reforms and how they will stop Zanu PF from rigging elections.”

The EU Election Observer Mission produced a detailed report of Zimbabwe’s 2018 elections and came up with 23 recommendations. Not even one reform was implemented. The report is available on https://zsdemocrats.blogspot.com/2018/10/eu-election-observer-mission-final.html

Of course MDC leaders what the reforms needed to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections were. The failed to implement even one token reform during the 2008 mot 2013 GNU because Mugabe bribed them with the the trappings of high office. A few honest MDC leaders have admitted it.

“As a collective political leadership, we should have taken time to apply our minds to the existential question:

    “What next after the GNU?”
We did not address this matter.
This was suicidal.” confessed Professor Arthur Mutambara in his Book In
Search of the Elusive Zimbabwean Dream, Volume III (Ideas & Solutions).

Some people will never ever admit MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent regardless of all the mountains of evidence to prove it. This has not helped the nation since the idiots have repeated the same foolish mistakes over and over again hence the reason why we are stuck.

“Chamisa akavhorerwa akawinner ASI kt Zanu naChigumba vaka alter ma figures ,saka unoda kut Chamisa aite sei.”

The real surprise here is that people like you continue to believe the lie Chamisa plugged all the vote rigging loop holes even now with all the evidence that he did no such thing.

There was no verified voters’ roll, for example, something SADC election observers pick. Chamisa did not even deploy election agents at all polling station to make sure the vote counting was done properly even though he had the funding for it.

What will it take to get it in your thick head that Chamisa conned the people to participate in the flawed elections knowing Zanu PF was rigging and that participating would give the regime legitimacy. Chamisa and company participated out of greed!

Fcuk me! We real have some stupid, stupid people in Zimbabwe. No wonder we are a failed state!

The question asked here is : Did Chamisa lie in saying he had plugged all the vote rigging loop holes? If so, why did he lie? You do not even have the common sense and courage to answer the question! What a nincompoop!

  42. @ John Marufu

It is shocking that there are millions of nincompoops who are refusing to acknowledge that simple historic fact! He lied that MDC A "has stringent measures to stop Zanu PF rigging the 2018 elections". The nincompoops believed him. He lied again in 2023 and the nincompoops believed him yet again. It goes without saying the nincompoops will believe the same lie yet again to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation's suffering.

We are a cursed nation, no other nation has so many nincompoops. Still one has to do one’s best - hammer some sense into their empty heads. The prospect of 48 years of rigged elections is simply unthinkable!

"If you have a genuine desire to hold anyone accountable, hold the Gold Mafia accountable, hold the ZEC thieves accountable - then maybe someone can take you seriously.

Until then, take a seat and chill. Hauna nyaya."

So until I hold the Gold Mafia to account, I cannot hold Chamisa to account for lying to the nation to con them to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the nation's suffering? Only a village idiot would think that is a rational position. Of course I reject your idiotic argument with the contempt it rightly deserves.

Zimbabwe is a failed state and millions of our people are living in abject poverty and despair. We must and WILL hold all those in public office to account for landing us in this mess. All means ALL! Chamisa included!

"Chamisa decided to leave the political arena long back why are you still obsessed with his name? This is now boring."

The question: Did Chamisa lie about plugging the vote rigging loop holes? And if so, why did he lie? Is not only directed at Chamisa but all those who were stupid enough to believe him?

Chamisa may have left the political arena, he is not died and so must answer the question.

It sound like you were one of the 2 million stupid enough to believe him and so you too must answer the questions!

You are bored with being reminded that you were stupid to have believed Chamisa and so do not want to hear it. I am here to remind you that you are indeed stupid and hammer some sense into that cupcake.

The questions above will be repeated until you answer them in your sleep! The prospect of village idiots like you believe another idiotic lie and conned into participating in flawed election in 2028 is real and the challenge is to hammer some sense into that cupcake head before then. I have a sludge hammer for the job!

Kenya and Zimbabwe have a lot in common for one thing we both started on the wrong foot and decades of gross mismanagement and rampant corruption have seen both countries sink way below their post independence potential. Whilst Kenya has used the second chance given by the 2007 to 2012 GNU to restore some people's rights and good governance, we in Zimbabwe have wasted the same chances offered by 2008 to 2013 GNU.

Kenya is showing hope for change, we are still sinking into the abyss!

The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that Chamisa conned 2 million Zimbabweans to participate in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy on the bases of a blatant lie. It is a pity we have some of the most naive and ignorant electorate on earth and both Zanu PF and CCC have taken full advantage of this to the detriment of the whole nation! Even if there were 100 or 1 000 more other opposition parties that would be no excuse for Chamisa to lie nor for village idiots like you believing the lies so readily again and again! Why village idiots have the vote beggars belief!
