"We are disengaging with amendment public hearing!" Biti & co. announce. The penny has finally dropped. W Mukori

🏮BREAKING NEWS: DISENGAGEMENT

♨️When Nelson Chamisa "disengaged" from politics due to toxicity some called him coward.

Now:👇

📹 The Constitutional Defenders Forum, National Constitutional Assembly and Defend the Constitution Platform call on Zimbabweans to “disengage” from Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill public hearings calling them “fundamentally flawed.” They call for a “citizen-driven response”

The penny has finally dropped!

There are many questions one must ask! Could the tragic events of the last few weeks; the wasted time and resources link with this amendment have been avoided if the penny had dropped a long time ago?  Why did it take so long for the penny to finally drop?

These are all hard questions and one of the reasons why it has taken this long for the penny to drop is that the nation failed to ask these hard questions and the whole nation has paid dearly for it. So the A1 lesson that should be learned here is THAT IT IS FOOLISH TO AVOID HARD QUESTIONS!

The A1 vow that must be made is that THE HARD QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED AND EVERY EFFORT MADE TO ANSWER EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THOSE HARD QUESTIONS!

  1. The worst curse is that many of the war veterans still believe that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule the country and hence the reason they have helped Zanu PF rig elections all these years! They are still hoping for the day they too will be filthy rich for now they are filthy poor!

They have not learned that this is a failed political system designed to produce a few filthy rich at the expense of the masses. They have not learned that no one has the divine right to rule and Zanu PF is falsely claiming this right to justify rigging the elections and denying the people a meaningful say in the governance of the country.

How any one can still believe this Zanu PF bulls***t after 46 years beggars belief!

I have asked him to account for what he did or failed to do. Why did MDC fail to implement even one token democratic change in 26 years including the 5 GNU years? Why did Chamisa lie about plugging vote rigging loop holes to con people to participate in flawed 2023 elections? FOCUS!

The tragedy of Zimbabwe is three fold:

One, we have in Zanu PF a party of ruthless thugs who believe they have the divine right to rule the country by virtue of conquest. The regime was forced to accept the 2008 to 2013 GNU whose primary purpose was to implement reforms and dismantle the dictatorship. The regime was able to navigate through the GNU with no reforms implemented by bribing the MDC leaders. The regime has managed to rig elections and yet still retain political legitimacy by giving away a few gravy train seats to the opposition to entice them to participate in the flawed elections no matter how flawed and illegal the process got.
Second: MDC/CCC opposition sell outs who wasted their golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms during the GNU and have since settled for participating in flawed elections no matter ho flawed and illegal the process get for a few gravy train seats. They have lied and conned millions of their brain dead followers to participate in the flawed elections.

USA Ambassador to Zimbabwe 2004 to 2007 said in a leaked secret cabe to Washington said Morgan Tsvangirai “is a flawed figure, not readily open to advice, indecisive and with questionable judgment, … would become an albatross around their necks once in power.” He could have said that about the whole MDC leadership because the have been in power and they are the mile stone round the nation’s neck dragging us all deeper and deeper into the crashing abyss!

Third: the overwhelming majority of our people are ignorant, naive and gullible and both Zanu PF and opposition have exploited this weakness conning them to participate in flawed elections for the ruling elite’s selfish gains. Zanu PF has kept millions of our people, especially in the rural areas poor and at the mercy of the regime and its proxies. They are medial serf. The serfdom would be broken by the simple act of granting these people title deeds to even a few acres of land on which their mud huts stand. Ian Smith refused to grant them title deeds for fear the economic empowerment would lead to political empowerment. Zanu PF is refusing these people title deeds for the same reason!

MDC/CCC supporters are simpletons who believe anything they are told. Only a simpleton would believe an idiotic lie like Chamisa’s “I plugged all vote rigging loop holes to stop Zanu PF rigging” only for Zanu PF to blatantly rig the elections and they do not even ask what happened!

Only the brain dead would participate in the chaos and violence of the recent public hearing on the amendment No. 3 and think that normal.

No one can ever say he/she is surprised at the chaos and violence that have characterised the public hearings on the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. Why would any one be surprised; the intimidation, busing in of participants, chaos and violence are all part and parcel of our political processes in Zimbabwe!

"If blacks ruled themselves, people will be walking on sewage and think it normal," Ian Smith predicted.

We are doing much worse than that! We are participating in flawed processes; so flawed, so illegal, the logical step is to withdraw; only to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate our own suffering and think it all NORMAL!

When Biti & co. announced that they are "disengaging" in the flawed amendment process; I thought the penny had finally dropped! I was wrong. They are participating in the flawed process to its bitter end to give Zanu PF legitimacy! No wonder we are a failed nation!

  5. @ Mahere

Mahere was one of the many CCC candidates who have participated in the flawed elections processes in the past knowing fully well that doing so would give Zanu PF legitimacy. Even after both SADC and AU condemned the 2023 elections as flawed and illegal she ignore that and took up her parliamentary seat. She only resigned when Sengezo Tshabangu started recalling elected CCC leaders. She jump before she was recalled.

The people of Zimbabwe are sick and tired of these opposition hypocrites who con the nation to participate in flawed elections out of greed and then make a big song and dance about rigged elections yet are the ones encouraging the people to participate!

These opposition leaders are withdrawing from participating in the flawed amendment process only for a few days or weeks and they will be back. Zanu PF knows that and hence the reason why the regime was ignored calls to implement reforms. Why would Zanu PF implement even one token reform when the regime knows that the opposition will participate no matter what!

What did participate in the flawed elections accomplish other than give Zanu PF legitimacy, give MDC/CCC a few gravy train seat and perpetuate the nation’s suffering? How any one keeps defending MDC/CCC leaders for lying to the people to con them to participate speaks volumes of the individual! Fcuk you really are a nincompoop!

Zimbabwe is a failed state and many of us do not even have the common sense to realise the reality of our situation much less to think of doing something to end it!

Chamisa lied about plugging Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes and many out there are at sixes and sevens on the matter. They admit Zanu PF rigged the elections, the very thing Chamisa said would not happen. And yet they refuse to admit Chamisa lied because their personality cult mentality does not permit them to admit Chamisa, a demigod, can do any wrong!

If the nation can not decide on a simple matter like Chamisa is a mere mortal it is little wonder the nation is stuck with corrupt and murderous thugs masquerading as great statesmen!

Zanu PF ruling elite have brain washed the war veterans into believing those who fought in the war of liberation were special where everyone else had the vote war veterans had a veto. And within the war veterans there were the ruling elite, the Chefs, and the comrades. The Chefs had the divine right to rule Zimbabwe and all the war veterans had a duty to use their veto to ensure Zanu PF retained power at all cost.

So it has happened that even when Zanu PF rule turned out to be corrupt, incompetent, oppressive and even murderous; the war veterans have remained blindly loyal to the party and regime. Indeed, many war veterans have felt duty bound to help Zanu PF rig elections and do other dirty political work!

Zimbabwe is a failed state because the nation has been stuck with a corrupt, incompetent and oppressive Zanu PF dictatorship for 46 years because the party rigged elections. Many of the war veterans have helped Zanu PF rig the elections and stay in power; they have remained blind to the political reality that no one has the right to rig elections! War veterans have not been spared the hardships bprn of the failed political system, the overwhelming majority of them are livinhg in abject poverty and those who got the bicycles must know that it is all they will ever get from Zanu PF!

    David Coltart interview with SABC

I am a Zimbabwean and I am grateful for SABC coverage of my country. Still I am disappointed with the above interview because it failed to mention that opposition leaders like Coltart failed to implement even one reform during the GNU. And have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy. He knows that and so does former Minister Lindiwe Zulu.

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious - withdraw from the (2023) elections. The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe is in a mess and leaders like Coltart must be held to account for it.

Chamisa's lawyers in the 2018 Constitutional Court challenge of the presidential results made some shocking decisions, especially the refusal to have the seal ballot boxes of the 16 Polling Stations with identical results? The people of Zimbabwe will never ever forget nor forgive the treasonous betrayal. NEVER!

There are three reasons why the a posting on X from Mnangagwa claiming that he is calling off Amendment Bill No. 3 must be a fake:

    1) Mnangagwa is a megalomania just like Mugabe before him, he wants to stay in power beyond 2028.

    2) The amendment bill process has gone beyond the point of no return, short of him dropping dead, he cannot call it off now. He is a ruthless thug who has never hesitate to do whatever he deemed necessary to get absolute power, 2008 Operation Mavhotera Papi, would testify to that. His reputation as a ruthless thug is at stake here!

    3) Last but most important of all, Mnangagwa knows that the MDC/CCC leaders will participate in this flawed process no matter how flawed and illegal the process get to give him legitimacy - guaranteed! Some leaders have threatened to "disengage", he knows that is just talk. These leaders have all found the gravy train seats he is offering IRRESISTIBLE!

The only people who can deny Zanu PF legitimacy and thus derail this CAB3 run-away train are the ordinary Zimbabweans. If only they can be smart enough to realise the opposition leaders are conning them to participate in flawed processes to give Zanu PF legitimacy, give opposition leaders gravy train seats and perpetuate their own suffering!

If you are a mouse and you are presented with the choice of a black mamba or a cobra; would you say you are being given a choice? The mouse will know that it is not being giving a choice since either snake’s bite means death. Whether one will kill it in 2 minutes and the other in 4 minutes is irrelevant to the mouse! What matters is this is a false choice.

The mouse will chose neither the black mamba nor cobra and choose to live, choose to escape.

We already know that Chiwenga is a ruthless Zanu PF thug no different from Mnangagwa, just as we knew Mnangagwa was a ruthless thug no different from Mugabe and by the same token know MDC/CCC leaders are as corrupt and incompetent as Zanu PF thugs. Of course, it is foolish to fail to see immediately that being asked to choose one and not the other is a false choice.

Only an idiot would insist a false choice is a viable choice on the idiotic grounds “unodei hapana akanaka”!

I have offered a way forward, you mindless nincompoop!

There are no viable competent leaders in Zimbabwe because the political system has not allowed such individuals to emerge. You will never catch quality fish fishing in a sewage pond! We need to implement the democratic reforms, drain the sewage pond and refill it with clean water, and you will have quality leaders!

As soon as the elections are done and the damage of giving Zanu PF legitimacy is done, Chamisa has complained that Zanu PF rigged the elections, the very thing he had said will not happen. And the village idiots have believed Zanu PF rigged the elections but will not admit Chamisa lied and conned them. The sheer stupidity of these morons beggars belief.

    Stop talking nonsense!

Was Chamisa “trying” to deliver democratic reforms by failing to implement even one token reform in 26 years including 5 GNU years? Was he doing the nation any favour by lying about plugging Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes to con people to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy, get a few gravy train seats for CCC and perpetuate the nation’s suffering?

There will be no meaningful change in Zimbabwe as long as the country continue to have a pool of brain dead voters, millions of them, who can be easily conned into participating in flawed elections to perpetuate the Zanu PF dictatorship.

You ask what I have been doing? Answer: educate the brain dead idiots like you that it is foolish to keep participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their own suffering. It is tough work because the idiots believe Chamisa is a demigod who can do no wrong.

MDC/CCC leaders failed to implement even one token democratic reform in 26 years including the 5 GNU years when they had the best chance to do so. Ever since the GNU debacle they have participated in flawed processes to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a few gravy train seats.

Madhuku, Biti and Timba have all participated in flawed elections out of greed and their latest involvement is in the Amendment Bill No. 3. They have "disengaged" with the public hearing on the bill following the chaos and violent contact in many of the public hearings - proof Zanu PF was rigging the process. However they are re-engaging - proof of their determination to participate no matter how flawed the process get - proof of they are participating to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a share of the gravy train seats!

The people of Zimbabwe must wake up to the reality opposition leaders are participating in flawed processes to give Zanu PF legitimacy and to perpetuate the people's suffering out of greed!

You are just a village idiot who refuses to accept that Chiwenga is just another Zanu PF thug by filtering out what you do not want to see instead of seeing the whole picture!

Gukurahundi massacre, the 2008 Operation Mavhora Papi and all the blatant vote rigging since 1980 to 2017 all happened when Mugabe was the top dog. Are you giving Mnangagwa 10/10 too for his role in that period?

Mnangagwa and Chiwenga have played their role in creating and imposing the de facto one party dictatorship in Zimbabwe. The two orchestrate the 2008 Operation Mavhotera Papi for Pete’s sake! How anyone can continue to pretend that Chiwenga is anything other than a ruthless thug committed to the obnoxious ethos that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule Zimbabwe beggars belief.

There are some values we can discuss, others we can even agree to disagree; the right of every Zimbabwean to free, fair and credible vote is one of those issues every one must accept as sacrosanct. Only a moron with a death wish would want a thug who has rigged elections and even killed innocent Zimbabweans to retain his iron grip on power as State President.

“I give Chiwenga 10/10!” Fcuk me! No wonder we are a failed state. 46 years and counting after independence and we are still failing to grasp the simple reality that the right to free, fair and credible elections is more than just a aright - it is the essence of good governance, our cure to the curse of rigged elections and bad governance! 46 bloody years!!!!

Your counter intelligence is narrow and not informed. Go back to your handlers and tell them that they are fools for recruiting you."

Your thinking is anchored on the premise that holding the opposition to democratic account is "bashing the opposition".

I believe all those in public office, be it in the ruling party or in the opposition are and MUST be democratically accountable to the people. Indeed, it is every citizen's sacred duty to hold leaders to account.

I have lost patience with the nincompoops who not only fail in their sacred duty of holding leaders to account but over step the mark and castigate those who are taking their duty seriously.

Did Chamisa lie about plugging all Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes? And did millions participate in the 2023 giving Zanu PF legitimacy because they believed that lie?

Why should asking pertinent question of what Chamisa said be considered "bashing" him? This is the personality cult mentality of morons that has held back this nation for 46 years and it must be exorcised out of the morons if we are ever too get out of this hell-hole!
