CHAMISA LIED ABOUT SADC RESOLVING ZIMBABWE’S DISPUTED AUGUST 2023 ELECTIONS, THE ISSUE IS DEAD AND BURIED. W MUKORI

UPDATE ON THE RESOLUTION OF THE DISPUTED AUGUST 2023 ELECTIONS

Fellow citizens,I have prepared this brief statement to update you on the efforts around the resolution of the disputed outcome of the August 2023 general elections that did not produce a credible and legitimate government chosen by the citizens of Zimbabwe.

As you are aware, following the shambolic and disputed August 2023 elections, we held nationwide consultations with you, the citizens, and all other relevant stakeholders, on the ways and means to resolve the electoral fraud.

You, the citizens of Zimbabwe, are very clear and firm on the position that the elections were improperly conducted, indeterminate and produced a manipulated outcome.

This position is supported and confirmed by SADC, the African Union, the European Union, the Commonwealth, COMESA, and all other intergovernmental organizations which deployed election observer missions to Zimbabwe.

There is no other election in the history of elections in this country that has invited resounding and universal condemnation as the August 2023 elections. This matter must be resolved so that the country can have proper elections that produce a proper government from the citizens.

Fellow citizens, as your presidential choice, you, in your millions, (nearly over TWO MILLION), gave a clear mandate, albeit in a disputed and contested election. That mandate cannot be abdicated, abandoned, or surrendered.

Upon and with your mandate, on the 26th of September 2023, we wrote to our regional body, SADC, the guarantor of the values and principles of the aspirations of the “common agenda” and “common will” of the people of Southern Africa.

On 23 October 2023 SADC responded to our request and advised that they were giving the matter due consideration. Meanwhile, we have noted the various meetings the leadership of SADC has held, including the latest Extraordinary Summit of the Organ Troika on the 23rd of March 2024 in Lusaka, Zambia.

Therefore, we have advisedly been patiently waiting on our request.

On the 29th of April, however, since considerable time has passed, yet we had sought to resolve this issue much earlier, we delivered our follow-up to SADC for which we await a response to determine a clear path forward to resolve the governance crisis and leadership dispute.

Our request to SADC was and remains very simple, that, as the regional body which Zimbabwe has signed up for membership and vested some authority in the supranational intergovernmental organization, we require their facilitation to peacefully resolve the issues around the irregular and disputed elections.

The problem of the manipulated elections that produced a government without a mandate from the citizens has since culminated into high levels of intolerance, violations, repression, illegal recalls of citizen representatives (of the very same disputed election, in itself, an unprecedented move and an encyclopedic infraction of democratic tenets) unlawful arrests and persecution of citizens upon all other kinds of archaic intimidatory and suppressive manifestations of the lack of mandate.

It is common knowledge that our country is facing a plethora of problems. Most of them are basic and symptomatic of bad governance, broken politics, and disputed leadership.

We have a tanking economy; systemic corruption; 49% of the population living in extreme poverty; USD$1,8bn lost to looting annually; USD$100m worth of gold smuggled monthly; galloping hyperinflation; half of the population that is food insecure; over 3 million Zimbabweans forced to migrate; 89% unemployment; and disputed national processes and elections.

Only a legitimate government chosen by the citizens has both the confidence and mandate to deliver on their necessities and demands. You voted for a government that would deliver healthcare, energy, water, jobs, stable currency, quality education and other basic services.

You know why you voted for change. The current challenges of failing to resolve the huge national debt, high inflation, currency distortions, drought, starvation, poverty, poor income, the hostile political environment, an air of sadness and brain drain are all symptoms of a government without a proper mandate.

Zimbabwe’s challenges are a direct result of the lack of legitimacy and mandate to govern. A truly elected citizen government is the solution for good governance and service delivery.

We reiterate this point to SADC, the AU and indeed to the international community, that it is untidy and untenable to sanitize or fertilize theft of elections and electoral malpractices by turning a deaf ear and casting a blind eye to matters of gigantic electoral fraud. Such is an afront to “the Africa we want”.

As you are aware, elections are the highest level through which a mandate is attained or ascertained as a contract between the governing and the governed. No government can justly claim authority to govern unless it is based on the will and consent of the people.

On that score, none must be allowed to come into office through the backdoor, the window, cohesive means or command antics and tactics. Our regional and international institutions cannot condemn a process and yet condone it and ultimately endorse it. It would be a contradiction in terms, to determine a process as flawed and yet condone its outcome.

Fellow citizens, may I hasten to say, the following and exhaustion of available remedies and peaceful means to resolve national issues is not a manifestation of weakness or that we are devoid of other ideas and means. It is our strict commitment to finding each other and amicably resolving our points of conflict, disjuncture, and disagreement.

We have committed to a peaceful resolution of disputes and intend to exhaust all available peaceful remedies. As you are all aware, millions of you agree with this approach. Zimbabwe is too beautiful and precious to be destroyed by flames of political disputes under our watch. Peace is fragile. Peace is sacrosanct.

And the breakdown of peace knows no winner. The opposite of peace leaves us all losers.

Our beautiful country can never progress on the back of disunity and successive disputed national processes including contested elections.

We are acutely aware of the urgency of this matter and more importantly that there can never be any talk of 2028 or a viable and stable future for this country without resolving August 2023, the broken past, and disputed politics. It remains our hope and indeed your hope that all these concerns will be addressed with urgency and seriousness.

On my part I am doing everything necessary, to the extent of God’s Will, to seek a lasting solution to the perennial challenges affecting our beloved country. Locally and nationally, I have engaged all the stakeholders including the traditional leadership, business leadership, civil society at large, political parties and members of the diplomatic corp.

In particular, I have also sought the mediatory role of the church leadership to help resolve the disputed elections and contested national processes, albeit, with handicapped progress. I have even numerously effected engagement with the other presidential contender and he is aware of our point of dispute and the proposed way forward. We have also developed and shared our roadmap with all key stakeholders, which paper we are ready to make public in due course.

We have engaged different stakeholders within the SADC region. At Heads of State level, I have engaged leaders through delegations that I sent to the various capitals of the region and the continent to brief Esteemed Excellencies about the election dispute, the political stalemate, and our proposed way forward.

I therefore urge you to take an active role in peacefully determining the destiny of our country. I exhort you, fellow citizens, the intercessors, and the church, to continue to pray for a smooth and peaceful transition in our country. Stay the course, hold the fort, hold fast and stand involved. Stand ready. Change is upon us.

#Foreveryone #Godisinit!

God Bless You, God Bless Zimbabwe. I thank you.

Under my name and hand.

Your Servant 27/05/2024

HARARE, ZIMBABWE.

So on on the 26th of September 2023, Chamisa wrote to SADC to complained of the “shambolic and disputed” August 2023 elections in Zimbabwe.

On 23 October 2023 SADC responded and advised that they were giving the matter due consideration.

There was the Extraordinary Summit of the Organ Troika on the 23rd of March 2024 in Lusaka, Zambia.

“Therefore, we have advisedly been patiently waiting on our request,” Chamisa tells except he is once again lying because the nation was bombarded by details of SADC sending elders to meet Chamisa and Mnangagwa, of upcoming summit meetings to discuss the disputed elections, etc. all supposedly coming from a “well placed source in SADC Secretariat”. Some of the video even had Chamisa’s face implying he was well aware of the videos and has never done anything to disown them.

On the 29th of April, 2024 followed-up on his request to SADC for on the governance crisis and leadership dispute.

As of today 27 May 2024, SADC has not bothered to respond. And so all those promises to have the disputed elections resolved soon, are just another one Chamisa’s silverback gorilla grandstanding, chest drumming, to impress his ignorant and gullible followers.

The more appropriate title should be CHAMISA’S CLAIM THAT SADC WILL  RESOLVE ZIMBABWE’S DISPUTED AUGUST 2023 ELECTIONS IS DEAD AND BURIED.

Of course, no one in the right mind would blame SADC for ignoring Chamisa, he is nauseatingly childish. He is the one who insisted in participating in these flawed elections claiming he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. “#Godisinit!” Knowing fully well that he was lying and that participating in the flawed elections would give Zanu PF legitimacy.  He and his CCC friends soldiered on and participated regardless because they also knew that Zanu PF would give away a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate.

Indeed, Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes to hide the real reason for participating was greed and thus con his followers to participate too in their millions.

Even after both SADC and AU had dismissed the election as a farce, Chamisa and his friends went ahead and took up their gravy train seats. They insisted wherever CCC won seats, these were “liberated zone” and thus elections in these zones were free, fair and credible. All nonsense to hide their greed because ZEC failed to produce a verified voters’ roll including in so called liberated zones!

SADC accepted the SADC Election Observer Mission (SEOM) damning report of 23 August 2023 Zimbabwe elections and decided to do nothing about it for three main reasons:

  1. These CCC leaders have failed to implement any democratic reforms even when they had the golden opportunity to do so during the GNU
  1.  CCC and their supporters have insisted on participating in flawed elections against the advice of SADC not only to complain of rigged but even have the chutzpah to blame SADC.

  1. CCC started to implode soon after the 2023 elections with the recall of elected officials. With all the best will in the world what would have been achieved by denying Zanu PF legitimacy when it was clear and by Chamisa’s own admission that CCC was infiltrated by Zanu PF, that CCC was Zanu PF team B in all but name.

"Mnangagwa may retire soon." Cold comfort as long as Zanu PF rigs elections and whack povo; tail mercilessly whacking the dog! W Mukori

“Mnangagwa may retire soon!” read the headline in Bulawayo 24. Judging from the number of views, the story was well received.

“Speaking in Shona, Mnangagwa suggested that he might not seek further leadership beyond the constitutionally defined limits. He remarked, ‘When I look at this place, I envision establishing my own cattle business here after retirement to generate income from selling cattle in the butcheries that will be housed here.’”

Mnangagwa blatantly rigged the 2023 elections, even SADC and AU have said so, and is therefore illegitimate. He should not be in power! And yet we all started wringing our hands at the prospect he would extend his stay in power beyond the stipulated two team limit because we knew we are helpless to stop him.

And now we are so relieved to hear he MAY not stay in power beyond 2028 we readily forget and forgive him for being illegitimate and celebrate. May is not WILL and it will not take much for him to decide to stay on.

The story illustrates how utterly powerless and helpless we are. Mnangagwa, like every other politician, should be democratically accountable to the people and the ultimate expression of the democratic power of the people is being able to remove politicians from office in a free, fair and credible elections. Something Zimbabweans have failed to do.

Zanu PF has blatantly rigged elections these last 44 years. Zimbabwe is yet to hold free, fair and credible elections ever since the country’s independence in 1980.

Even if Mnangagwa gives up on the idea of extending his stay in office beyond 2028; it is cold comfort for the nation because Zanu PF is not giving up its carte blanche powers to rig elections. Nelson Chamisa and his opposition fiends will con the ordinary people to participate in the flawed elections to give vote rigging Zanu Pf legitimacy for the sake of the few gravy train seats. We are not out of the woods!

As long as Zanu PF is able to rig elections the people will remain powerless and helpless. It is the people who should hold the politicians to account, in Zimbabwe Zanu PF is holding the nation captive and utterly helpless. In Zimbabwe the tail is wagging the dog and it is a sorry sight!

Intelligentsia did very little during liberation war and they are at it still they should demanding reforms. W Mukori

There is no doubt that these men and women have been brainwashed, decades of propaganda has taken it toll, they cannot think for themselves. Of course, Chivayo has become the embodiment of corruption and criminal waste of resources by the filthy rich at the expense of the millions now living in abject poverty.

It is easy to mock the brainwashed and make funny of them for grovelling to the men and women who are giving them with one hand, make a big song and dance about it, whilst robbing them blind with the other!

Is it the fault of the masses, they have been brainwashed? Or is it the fault of those who should have stopped the Zanu PF juggernaut all these last 44 years but chose to do nothing?

Evil men and women are thrived cause untold suffering and death to others all because good men and women has looked on and said nothing, indifferent to the evil and the tragic misery to brought.

In his book Animal Farm, a story basic on real events of Russia’s Great October 1917 Bolshevik Socialist Revolution, George Orwell of Benjamin the donkey, who could read as well as any of the pigs but took no part in the unfolding events. Of course, Benjamin’s cynical indifference allowed the evil pigs to do as they damn well pleased and hence one of the main reasons why it revolution failed.

In Zimbabwe the intelligentsia, the nose-brigade, have certainly played they role in Zimbabwe being the world text book case failed state. Some joined Zanu PF after independence in the spirit of go along to get along. They have since switched their allegiance to the opposition with much the same outsider indifference.

Others have joined Zanu PF in the spirit of the opportunists, if you cannot beat them join them. Of course, Minister of Finance Professor Mthuli Ncube and Minister Coventry, as with many others before them, know that Zanu PF has been rigging elections and, per se is illegitimate; still they could not resist the gravy train carrot when it was dangled in their faces.

The opposition is full of the same intelligentsia opportunists or be it their greed has turned into foolishness. The intelligentsia in the diaspora and in the urban centres back home have been the bedrock of the opposition and they have cheered and applauded as MDC/CCC blundered from pillar to post. They have never asked why MDC leaders failed to implement even one reform in 24 years and they were just as easily conned into believing the “I plugged the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” as the rest of the opposition wildebeest herd members.

Zimbabwe is heading for yet another rigged election in 2028; Zanu PF has no choice if it is to hang on to power and Chamisa and company will participate to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a share of the spoils of power. Zanu PF will bribe all the relevant key players from village heads right up to the judges and coerce povo to all play their part in the vote rigging.

Chamisa will conning the opposition herd with the usual promises of winning because he has winning in RIGGED election strategies. The herd will believe him, the worsening economic situation has made the herd even more desperate for change. You can not reason with them just as nothing can stop a wildebeest stampede.

If anyone can stop the insanity of yet another Zimbabwe rigged elections then it must be the intelligentsia in the Zanu PF and opposition camps. If they stopped mocking the poor, the victims of the dictatorship they helped create and nurture, and instead denounce the sheer futility of participating in these flawed elections to perpetuate the failed state; this insanity will end!

SADC would have never walked away after the damning election report by Dr Nevers Mumba if there had been a deafening clamour by Zimbabweans themselves demanding the implementation of democratic reforms before the elections and demanding that Zanu PF must be deny political legitimacy after the damning report. The silence before and after the rigged 203 elections is to this day deafening!

Zanu PF stubbornly deny rural povo title deed, they are poorest and rural areas are party's strongest hold. Surprised! W Mukori

Ian Smith refused to give rural peasants the right to own even a piece of land the size of football field and yet white settlers were given title deeds to farms thousands of square kilometres. No one owned the land; all land was owned owned by the tribe (read state) hence Tribal Trust Land. Government could remove you from wherever you had settle if it so decide and so it was unwise to invest time or resources in building a decent home.

With no title deed to the land you could not use your home for collateral security.

Denying blacks ownership to the land was a very effective way of keeping the blacks poor and economically and politically powerless.

It is ironic but not at all surprising that Zanu PF has stubbornly refused to give blacks title deeds. It is no coincidence that the rural folk are the poorest of the poor in Zimbabwe and Zanu PF considers rural areas it political stronghold. Mnangagwa himself is on record boasting of how Zanu PF would frogmarch rural voters to the polling stations!

The sheer cynicism and callous indifference with which Zanu PF removed families soon after the 2023 elections, supposedly for settling on State land without authority; was, no doubt, meant to remind us all of the regime's limitless satanic power over our lives.

There really is no excuse why rural folk should continue to be denied title deeds to one square kilometre of land on which their home is built. It will spur them to build decent homes and look after the land better than the soulless Tribal Trust has ever done!

It there is one thing that would mean the most to the rural folk, it is the right to own the land on which their home stand. The right to free, fair and credible elections; freedom of expression and all the others rights and freedoms and nothing to these people in comparison to having a place they can finally call their own.

If the rural folk had title deeds to the land then these Chinese would not be kicking them off the land so willy-nilly!

For Pete’s sake, give the rural folk title deeds, no more of these offer letters which not worth the paper they are written on, to the land and let’s end this abomination now!

Augustine Chihuri had a US$ 7 m palatial mansion, he left it in a huff because G40 lost power to Lacoste W Mukori

This is the palatial mansion that Jack built

The mansion costed a cool US$7 million

Jack has assets worth a cool US$ 32 million

Note: Jack was a Police Commission of a banana republic

He left the mansion and all in a huff when the banana republic was renamed

Second republic, after a musical chairs game

Jack was in the wrong basket, the G40 faction lost to Lacoste

Of course, Jack's amassed wealth was looted

No wonder Jack and company rigged elections and even killed

Second republicans are rigging the elections and will kill to retain power

Still we must stop them rigging 2028 and put an end to the looting.

Zimbabwe's very own Emperor Nero is burning down every used by povo to build palatial facilities for filthy rich few. Wilbert Mukori

“The closer the collapse of the empire, the crazier its laws” Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Well we in Zimbabwe are witness this first hand. Zanu PF introduced the new local currency insisting it would never lose its value pegged at ZiG 13.73 = US$ 1.00. because it would backed by Zimbabwe Gold in the RBZ vault hence the name ZiG. There was a token amount of gold in the vault on the day of the launch as all could see in the photograph of Mnangagwa inspecting the vault. And so it is not surprising that the regime has adopted other unscrupulous means to stop the run away devaluation of the ZiG.

The regime created a shortage of the ZiG so people have to queue for hours only to get a few ZiGs. The Police backed by the Zanu PF party's green-bombers militia are terrorising the public to stop currency trading. Of course, it is foolish law; the US$, ZiG and all the other foreign currencies are legal tender in Zimbabwe so why should trading in these currencies be illegal!

When Mnangagwa took over from Mugabe in 2017, following the military coup, he was cocksure his “Zimbabwe is open for business!” would lift Zimbabwe out of poverty just as Mugabe before him was cocksure to do the same with his “gutsa rizhinji”. When the hoped for foreign investors failed to turn up, Mnangagwa turned inward convince he pay for Zimbabwe’s development from her own resources. “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo!” was born. Sadly he did not know how.

In 2019 the then Governor of RBZ, Dr John Mangudya, admitted that Zimbabwe could pay off it foreign debt and from hence forth pay for all her development IF the country stopped the criminal waste of her resources through loot. He admitted the country was losing a fortune every year through smuggling of gold and diamonds.

When Mnangagwa took office in 2017 he had promised “zero tolerance on corruption”. Under his watch corruption has gone into overdrive. The Al Jazeera Gold Mafia documentary has revealed the extend of the rot, up to 80% of the US$2 billion per year gold production in Zimbabwe is smuggled out of the country. The documentary name Mnangagwa as “Number One”, the godfather.

Whilst the country’s basic infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, roads, are in varying stages of rot and decay because of decades of neglect and under funding. Meanwhile Mnangagwa is going full steam ahead in prestigious project such as the new parliament, a four lane up four lane down highway from Harare City Centre to the new parliament, building villas, suburbs, shopping malls, etc. for the rich.

In Mnangagwa Zimbabwe has its own Emperor Nero, burning down everything used by the filthy poor mass up and down the country and replacing it with palatial facilities for the rich and powerful. All paid for with looted wealth and national resources sold to the Chinese and others for a song.

The Zanu PF dictatorship should have died after the 2008 to 2013 GNU, at the latest; it has survive to this day because MDC/CCC leaders sold out. Zanu PF has not only capture key state institutions like the judiciary, Police, Army, etc. but the opposition too are in the regime’s deep pockets, hence the political paralysis.

For any good it has ever done, the Zanu PF dictatorship has been on its death bed for decades but, thanks to the political paralysis, the regime has lingered on, like a smouldering candle. 44 years and counting we have been stuck with this corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship. And if we do not do some thing to end the dictatorship there will be very little left of Zimbabwe as we know it!
