War vets "are masters of succession" boasted Mutsvangwa - then do we have a tyrant. By W Mukori

Comrade Chris Mutsvangwa you say it was you and your liberation war friends who selected Robert Mugabe.
“Because we were the founding army, when the struggle needed new leadership, we sat and made sure that president Mugabe becomes the new commander of the army,” he said.
“we are the ones who sold the name of President Mugabe to the masses. That is why he stands head and shoulders above all the other nationalist leaders.”
“We are masters of the succession plan. We know it so well so we have no lesson to learn from Jonathan who deserted the war.”
Mutsvangwa and his war veterans are becoming obsessed about Professor Jonathan Moyo and his G40 faction’s machinations. Please forget him and G40 for one minute; after all it is not only the Mnangagwa faction and the G40 faction who have any invested interest on who governs Zimbabwe. Every Zimbabweans has any interest and the numbers of the warring Zanu PF members is nothing compared to those outside the party.
If Mutsvangwa does not need lessons on succession from Professor Moyo he certainly needs lessons from the rest of the Zimbabwe people!
Looking at the sorry economic state Zimbabwe, the human misery it has brought and the over 30 000 innocent lives cut short for selfish political gain by Mugabe in his 36 years of corrupt and tyrannical rule surely even you Comrade Mutsvangwa will admit that electing Mugabe and keeping him in power all these years was not such a good idea after all. You have admitted yourself that the tyrant has “dictatorial tendencies”. You want him to go.
So the man you still describe as standing “head and shoulders above all the other nationalist leaders” turned out to be a corrupt and murderous tyrant with a knack for betraying his revolutionary comrades and povo alike!
If the truth be told, and it must be told and to your face too, you are NOT masters of the success plan are you. If you elected a corrupt and murderous tyrant last time what makes you so sure you will not do so again?
Indeed, you have already shown that you are not as clever as you claim to be at picking who will make a good leader and who will not by selecting Emmerson Mnangagwa to succeed Mugabe. Mnangagwa is the flip-side of the tyrant; he, of all people, has been Mugabe’s right-hand man, he played a major role in the Gukurahundi massacre and all the vote rigging machinations.
How you and your war veterans elected Mugabe to lead Zanu PF before independence is your affair why you have imposed the tyrant on the people these last 36 years is totally unacceptable. You have denied the people their freedoms and basic human rights to stop regime change.
The most important lesson you and your brand of war veterans have clearly failed to learn during the war and since is the revolution was not just about ending white colonial oppression but to secure freedom, human rights, justice and economic prosperity for all Zimbabweans. What you have done is replace white colonial oppression with black oppression.
You claim to be the “master of succession plan”; does the ordinary Zimbabwean has any meaningful say in that plan; a free vote in a free, fair and credible election?
Listen Mutsvangwa and hear this; whom you impose as the next leader of Zanu PF is your affair but if you think you are going to impose the individual on the people of Zimbabwe think again. For the last 36 years Mugabe and Zanu PF thugs have ridden roughshod over the people’s hopes and dreams denying them their freedoms and basic human rights including the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country and even the right to life. This must stop here and now!
Zimbabweans are going to join the commune of free nations the world over when the country holds its first ever free, fair and credible elections! It is the fervent hope of every peace-loving Zimbabwean out there that you, Comrade Mutsvangwa and your war veterans will play a constructive role in making this happen. If not that, then that you will never again play the role of the tyrant’s thug doing his master’s bidding!

The next elections will be free, fair and credible; the decades of rogue war veterans frog marching villagers to Zanu PF rallies are over!

Tsvangirai offers Mugabe blanket amnesty if he "retired now" - the sell-out at it again. By N Garikai

During the GNU, Morgan Tsvangirai had the golden opportune to implement the democratic reforms designed to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship and deliver free and fair elections. He failed to get even one reform implemented because he traded the nation’s get-out-of-jail card with Mugabe. The tyrant offered Tsvangirai and his MDC friends seats of the country’s political gravy train plus a $4 million Highlands mansion for Tsvangirai in return for MDC seeing to it that not even one reform saw the light of day.

Of course, Tsvangirai sold-out during the GNU! We would not still be in this hot soup if MDC had implemented the reforms and the July 2013 elections were free, fair and credible.

President Mugabe rigged the 2013 elections and Tsvangirai and many of his MDC friends were booted off the gravy train. Tsvangirai is so desperate to get back on the gravy train he is already offering to sell-out the nation again if Mugabe will step down and allow him back on the gravy train.

“Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has assured President Robert Mugabe that if the increasingly frail nonagerian retires from office now, long suffering Zimbabweans would ensure that he will not suffer retribution or end up being hauled before the courts for the human rights violations he allegedly committed ion his 36 years in power,” reported the Daily News.

We are in this hell-hole because President Mugabe and his henchmen placed themselves above the law. They have been the law unto themselves looting everything they could lay their hands to gratify their insatiable greed and riding roughshod over our freedoms and human rights.

Early this year President Mugabe finally admitted that there was corruption in Zimbabwe, after decades of denying it and blaming the nation's economic collapse on droughts, sanctions, etc. He admitted that $15 billions of diamond revenue was “swindled”. Today, ten months later, not even one of the swindlers has been arrested and so the swindlers are still out there busy swindling.

What nation on earth can sustain the grand theft of $15 billions much less one like Zimbabwe with only $14 billion GDP!

The worst crime President Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs have committed against this nation is how they have harassed, beaten, raped and even murdered innocent Zimbabweans to establish and retain this corrupt and murderous one-party, Zanu PF, dictatorship. No stone will be left unturned in the nation’s search for the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth on how Mugabe has rigged elections.

He has always maintained after each election that the whole electoral process was free, fair and credible; if he was not lying he has nothing to fear, there will be no retribution!

Zimbabwe’s economy has all but collapse, unemployment has soared to over 90%, millions of our people live in abject poverty, our health and education services have all but collapse, etc.   Over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans have been butchered for no other reason than that they dare demand their basic freedoms and human rights including the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country. These are very serious matters that must be addresses and resolved openly and honestly; they must never ever be swept under the carpet.

Indeed, we are in this mess precisely because Mugabe thought the freedoms and human rights of ordinary Zimbabweans including the right to life DO NOT matter. By offering him a blanket amnesty for all his satanic barbarism during his reign of terror, we are per se agreeing with his assertion that the suffering and even deaths of ordinary Zimbabweans are no more worthy of one’s consideration that ants!

How typical of a sell-out like Tsvangirai, he is not yet back in power but already he bargaining off the nation’s golden opportunity to finally end the Zanu PF dictatorship and restore the rule, just as he traded off the nation’s get-out-of-jail card during the GNU! Not only is he not going to be allowed back in office but he must account for his past.

Tsvangirai, you are not off the hook; no stone will be left unturned to establish that MDC did indeed sell-out during the GNU. The nation will be irresponsible to let a sell-out or his descendants keep a fraction of ill-got wealth such as the $4 million Highlands mansion when it costed millions of innocent souls so much anguish and human lives.

Forgiveness was never meant to be an excuse for interfering, perverting the course of justice. Get the corrupt and murderous tyrants of the feeble-minded sell-outs to wield the power of forgiveness you open a can of worms because they will seek only to undermine justice and perpetuate injustice. Tsvangirai, you are just feeble-minded sell-out, you will never again be entrusted with power to chart the destiny of this great nation. Never ever!

War veterans want Mugabe remove but the dictatorship retained so they can crap on povo. By W Mukori

The difference between the war veterans and the people is that the former want Mugabe to be replace by Mnangagwa and the dictatorship to remain. We, the people, demand that the dictatorship be totally dismantles because we, at the bottom of the hierarchical perch, have suffered from being crapped on by the dictator, his ministers, party thugs and even the war veterans too have joining in!

yramid of shit-1

War veterans are not at the bottom with povo, they too would want the dictatorship, pyramid of shit, dismantled!
Chris Mutsvangwa and his band of war veterans have good cause to be angry with Mugabe. The tyrant promised them economic prosperity in return for they helped him deny the people their freedoms and basic human rights to establish and retain his de facto one-party cum one-man dictatorship. They did all he asked, many have even shed the innocent blood of their follow Zimbabweans in pursuit of his no-regime-change mantra.

Mugabe did not honour his promise, many of the war veterans – except for the few lucky one holding top rank post in the security service sectors or government – are living in abject poverty. Their economic status is hardly any better than that of povo since they all use the same public health and education, roads, water supply etc. All these services have all but collapsed.

Whilst Mugabe and his cronies regularly travel outside the country for their health needs and have been sending their children outside the country for their educations for decades now; war veterans and povo could not afford such luxuries. No wonder the war veterans are angry.

After all the years of being given the run-around with promises of economic prosperity tomorrow but always a day away, the war veterans were alarmed to learn was Mugabe now planning to have his wife as his successor. She had made it clear she had no intention of paying even the meagre benefits they are receiving now.

Without the allowance the allowance most of these war veterans will be on par with the poorest of the poor povo. No wonder they are angry!

“Angry war veterans have ratcheted up their worsening feud with President Robert Mugabe and alleged Generation 40 (G40) kingpin, Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo - provocatively telling Zimbabwe's long-ruling leader that the hated late Rhodesian prime minister, Ian Douglas Smith, had been a more formidable adversary to them than the increasingly frail nonagenarian,” reported the Daily News.

“Zanu PF bigwigs who spoke to the Daily News last night said the renewed and fierce attack on Mugabe by the disgruntled former freedom fighters - which echoes their damning communiqué of earlier this year which sealed their nasty fall-out with the nonagenarian - meant that the prospects for a much-needed reconciliation between the two parties ahead of the watershed 2018 national polls were now virtually "less than zero".”

War veterans want Mugabe to go and to replace him with VP Emmerson Mnangagwa the people of Zimbabwe want Mugabe. They are targeting the tyrant a select few for removal, blaming them and not the whole Zanu PF dictatorship, for the nation’s economic mess.

"So Jonathan's efforts to try and make scare crows out of the centre of power, calling us successionists ... we dismiss it like a duck takes water off its feathers. We only respect each other as revolutionaries. We have no fear of anybody," Mutsvangwa said.

"They are dull, and a completely unintelligent bunch this G40, intellectually barren and dumb. I have never suffered so much ignorance as I did during my time, in Cabinet and once you have no history you have no future. Where the G40 is there is no party because the party is with the people. Their barrenness is evident from the way the economy is performing. You can't see even a crane tower building skyscrapers for almost two generations and the G40 has been in power," he added.

This is very selective memory at its most cynical because Mnangagwa and many of those around him have played an even greater role than Moyo and others in the G40 now being targeted as the rotten apples. The whole Zanu PF dictatorship must be dismantled as it is corrupt and autocratic and serves no purpose other than to maintain the status quo of a hierarchical corrupt and tyrannical few prospering at the expense of the impoverished majority.

People like Mutsvangwa are clinging onto the notion that they are “stockholders of Zanu PF and Zimbabwe” and thus they wield the veto on who will be the party’s and nation’s leader. They are hoping that this super-duper power will secure for them the top-level perches in the crow pyramid.

What Mutsvangwa et al are refusing to accept is that every Zimbabwean has the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country. The notion of some people being granted the veto is simply preposterous because each successive generation will have to fight its own liberation war just to stop themselves being buried alive in the generation before’s crap.

Enough of this nonsense of war veterans harassing the people to vote Mugabe and Zanu PF and making a mockery of the elections. Zimbabwe is going to have its first free, fair and credible elections. The right to a meaningful vote is a birth right and therefore not negotiable.

Besides the solution to Zimbabwe’s worsening economic situation is good governance and that means free and fair elections.
